Phanny's El Segundo Reviews
I’ve tried a lot of breakfast burritos, but this one really stands out! Fresh ingredients, great flavor, and perfectly balanced. Easily a 10/10 — highly recommend giving it a try!
Phanny’s has been a staple in the south bay for years with the best breakfast burritos in Los Angeles by far! I’m so happy they’ve expanded to El segundo with the same quality and taste! You have to come try, my usual is a bacon ham burrito with avocado.
Delicious breakfast burritos! I stopped by today during their soft launch. Welcome to town, Phanny’s!
Best breakfast burrito! So happy their new location is closer to LA. Soy chorizo is a must.
Quality ingredients equals quality burritos. Accommodating to customization requests. Friendly service.

Long time Phanny’s goer. This location is conveniently on my way to work (blessing and a curse). The atmosphere is brutalist and minimal on the inside, with a few chairs. I love the charm of the original Phanny’s in Redondo Beach. The burritos taste great at this location as well!
Excellent breakfast burrito. Watched them prep/cook it. Not cheap, but generous size (my wife and I split one). A bit on the spicy side but no complaints from me. BTW - Offset Coffee is a couple doors down - best specialty coffee in the Southbay.
Highly recommend. Bacon burrito is excellent.
Really good breakfast burritos!
Been going to Phannys original location since I was a kid. Love to see them doing well enough to expand! Same amazing breakfast burritos as always!

Really good breakfast burritos!
The reviews made it sound kind of mid, and it was expensive, $14 for a ham burrito, but as I ate it I couldn't help but to like it. It's a solid burrito, and the more I ate the more I enjoyed. I would come back.
I wish they used a better tortilla and grilled it a little bit. If they did this, they would be the elite breakfast burrito spot in The South Bay. Besides that, I’ve probably tried every option and mixed and matched additions like avocado and grilled veggies to mention a couple. If you’re looking for a very good breakfast burrito, give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

It wasn't bad, it wasn't good, it's was just okay. Having read positive reviews from the original location as well as this newer location, I was in the area and wanted to continue on my breakfast burrito journey. The space is minimal, menu is easy and clear, the staff was friendly enough, and the prices are pretty reasonable. The burrito itself again was just decent. The tortilla was toasted but it could have been a little further as it still had the cold doughy taste. Pretty standard bacon, sausage, and eggs with minimal cheese. My biggest issue was that the hasbrowns weren't crispy enough and the overly wet salsa made things worse. I ate it on the tables outside so it didn't really sit for a while to be that mushy that quickly. Overall, nothing unique or distinct over any other greasy soon or something you can make at home. Average is is fine, I was just a little disappointed based on the other reviews. It's not worth a trip but there are options and conveniences in the same mini shopping area.
This place could be amazing, but it’s not. I’m not sure why everyone is giving this place so much praise. I guess people really love buying $20 burritos that have no taste. All the ingredients melded together to make a single mushy mess with zero distinction between ingredients. And to boot ! Super boring salsa. The waiting area is hot and muggy , just wait outside. Do yourself a flavor and go to any Alberto’s , Delberto’s , or really anything that ends in to’s. Come on guys you can do better. I ordered a soy chorizo and carna asada.

First time @ Phanny's...initial impressions: bare-bones space with minimal industrial seating, staff was serviceable enough, but I was really disappointed by the small size of the burrito. When I was handed my order in a bag, I honestly wondered if they forgot to put the burrito inside. :-\ I ordered the bacon burrito (tiny bacon bits were sparse) with the hashbrowns crispy (they were mushy). The one saving grace is the flavor is pretty solid...but for $14, I'll pass. Too many better burritos in the SB.

I do like Pannys, but apparently a food allergy means nothing here. About 80% of the times I’ve come, they get my order wrong. I say “no salsa” because of an allergy, yet they still put it on the burrito anyway. I don’t understand what could be so hard about just NOT putting salsa on a bacon burrito. Seems like it would be pretty simple.
It's never a pleasure to leave a bad review for food establishments, however the experience we endured yesterday was quite unpleasant for the price of which we paid. Unfortunately we not only experienced very salty, soggy, and unflavored food, we also became very ill with stomach cramps, and well I didn't need to say what followed. I understand this is a fairly new location and possibly the cooks are getting adjusted to the menu, but we must be mindful of not overdoing beyond what the recipe calls for. A refund for our entire order would be appreciated, as we were to far to turn around and threw out more than half of both burritos

Bland burrito I got for an insane price.
Very disappointing experience considering the great reviews this place has. The bleak white walls, loud music blaring, bad customer service and minimal seating make it an uninviting atmosphere. Dude at the register looked like he hated being there. I expected him to at least speak with his chest considering the loud music they had on. Didn’t offer to ask if I needed anything with my order (like napkins or salsa on the side.) I asked for salsa and he handed me one that was busted open, he noticed it, and just walked away. I asked if there was green salsa instead, to which he answered a dry ‘no’ and turned back around. I ordered the steak breakfast burrito ($14) and it definitely lacked flavor. The steak was bland and the burrito was packed with mostly rice, egg and tomato sauce they like to call salsa. Overall such a disappointing first time experience, will not return or recommend.
