Pink's El Segundo Reviews
I’m back at Pink’s, and honestly, it never gets old. This place is a legendary L.A. staple for a reason, and even after multiple visits, it still hits the spot every single time. The energy here is classic Hollywood—between the long line of fellow hot dog fans and the walls covered in celebrity headshots, you really feel the history of the place. Despite the crowd, the service is always efficient and friendly, which I really appreciate. I went with the Chili Cheese Dog again because that secret family recipe chili is unbeatable, but I also tried one of their celebrity dogs this time. The snap of the Hoffy-brand franks is exactly what you want in a gourmet hot dog, and they definitely don't skimp on the toppings. Whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth, Pink’s is an absolute must-visit landmark. I'm already looking forward to my next trip back to try another one of their 40+ combinations! Since you enjoy the celebrity-themed menu there, would you like me to find the ingredients for a specific star's hot dog so you can plan your next order?
Looking for an iconic place to eat and have a good meal? Pinks is loved my many and a lot of movie stars and famous people have come here to enjoy their food. There’s a huge variety of special hot dogs developed and those are given and named after famous people. There are photos of all the famous people who have visited and signed their pictures with autographs. The menu has so many different types of hot dogs developed and sides to choose from to make a great meal. It is so hard to choose just one and their fries and onion rings are so good too. The combos come with fries and a drink; you then select the best drink in a bottle for you. There’s plenty of seating to accommodate you or more people in which accessible accommodation is available also. Parking is free and available for all. This is a kid friendly restaurant and you can dine in or have your order for takeout. If you want a sweet dessert, there’s Voodoo donuts next door. You cannot miss both places, they are both hot pink and stand out. The prices are reasonable and the hot dogs are very good and can fill you up.
Ok, so I will tell you my experience, here, though thousands of others have come here over multiple decades. Be patient in line. Today the line wasn't really too long, but you need patience to get up to the place to order. So, choose what you want before you get there, which will make other's behind you happy. My choice was the LaLa Land dog. Look it up online in their menu, its easier. Nostalgic place, some seating out back, park on LeBrea or Waring, its easier. Look at all the pictures there, and funky Pink's stuff. Enjoy!
Iconic Hollywood chili dogs - count me in. We only waited in line about 15 minutes at a 1:00pm time. We tried the dog and the burger. Both good. Prices were good and the staff was nice and welcoming. Worth the trip.
Pink’s Hot Dogs is the real deal. I got the bacon chili cheese dog and holy smokes, it’s on a whole different level. Big beef dog, melted cheese, thick crispy bacon, and chili that brings serious flavor. Loaded, messy in the best way, and every bite hits. The atmosphere is iconic, staff is friendly, and the place is a vibe. This one absolutely deserves the hype. Essential stop if you're in LA.
The best hotdogs here in Los Angeles! Service was fast and friendly (the lady who took our orders memorized everything which kinda shocked us) the place was a little too small for such an amount of costumers, however, the outdoor sitting saved us. Food was decently priced and really delicious. I really recommend this place and if you go there, try the Shaq dog!
Finally tried Pinks Hot Dogs, the legendary hot dog joint that’s been on my bucket list. Featured in movies, TV shows, and travel books for a reason! I had a Bacon Chili Cheese Dog and a Double Bacon Chili Cheeseburger - wow, just wow. It’s always crowded and chaotic, but the staff is super nice and the food is worth the wait. Parking can be a bit tricky, though. Congrats on their 85th Anniversary!
Pink's Hot Dogs, a Hollywood icon since 1939, started as a $50 pushcart slinging 10-cent chili dogs and has grown into a Fairfax District landmark at 709 N La Brea Ave, famous for snappy all-beef franks, celebrity-named specialties (like the Martha Stewart Dog with sauerkraut and sour cream), and walls plastered with signed star photos from Orson Welles to Snoop Dogg. It's beloved for its nostalgic vibe and endless toppings, but lines can stretch an hour, and some say the hype outshines the "average" dogs. If you pass through LA, you should visit. A classic LA spot with history... loved the outdoor garden and celebrity wall. Fabulous spot, and their chili is delicious.
Really cool place! I had a hot dog with sauerkraut (they had really tasty kraut!) and fries. I enjoyed looking at all the celebrity pictures on the walls while we waited. We sat out back to eat and enjoyed the nice seating area. It took a little while to get our food, but it was worth the wait. Good quality food and staff were friendly! I would come back!
MVP 🌭 🌭 Hotdogs, generous portions and saucy, soft bread so good , Brooklyn Pastrami Hotdog and Double Magic Mushroom Burger 🍄🟫 🍔 🍔 with French fries all made with fresh ingredients ♥️💯 Fast service and very nice friendly staff😁 A good night out dinner! Free parking and nice umbrella set up tables!
The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was relaxing and easy going. I had the Shaq Dog which was a chili cheese hot dog with 4 onion rings which I thought was a great deal if you want a good chili cheese dog with a sample size of onion rings. We went around 2pm or so on a Saturday and it took us 30 minutes in line to get to the front to order so get ready to wait if you see a line. After you order, there are plenty of tables and seats with parasols for you to sit at and enjoy your delicious meal. We enjoyed looking at all the wall of celebrities that has come through and enjoyed Pinks. I would definitely come again if I were in the neighborhood and I saw that the line was short.
Pink’s Hot Dogs lives up to the hype. The hot dogs are flavorful, creative, and cooked just right. I tried the chili dog and the bacon burrito dog—both were packed with toppings and tasted great. The line was long, but it moved steadily, and the staff handled everything efficiently. Prices are fair considering the portion size and the location. It’s a classic LA experience with a fun, casual vibe. Whether you’re a local or visiting, Pink’s is worth the stop. I’ll definitely be coming back. Also don’t go for the classic, go big.
I’m not even a hot dog person, but I am a foodie and I naturally got curious, as I was in the area. The line outside also drew me in, as this is usually a good sign. I was super impressed with the Polish Pastrami Dog and the LA Street Dog, seriously the best hot dogs I’ve ever had! Plus, love all the branding, super cohesive - even the hand wash in their restroom is hot pink!
Finally checked out the legendary Pink's Hot Dogs! 🌭 Since 1939, they've been serving up incredible hot dogs at the exact same spot. It’s a favorite for everyone from Hollywood stars and sports icons to tourists from all over the world. Even in the rain, the line was out the door! 🌧️ After nearly 40 minutes of waiting, I finally got to order. They have so many different styles of hot dogs and burgers to choose from—definitely worth the wait! 😋🙌
Got there early before there was a line and waited maybe 2-3 minutes to be served our order. While the dog itself isn't really anything special, the toppings make all the difference. Once you start piling on bacon and veggies, then I start to understand the hype... though now I need to evolve a wider jaw :)
It's been a while since I've been there and it changed a bit. I got a hot dog with relish only and was as good as I remember. A 9" dog is a BIG dog for a chihuahua (lol). My friend Tony got the NY Dog and he inhaled it before I could get a pic of it. I like the new look and the patio. ;)
They offer a creative and diverse selection of hot dogs. While there was no wait for seating in the dining area, the line to order took about 10–15 minutes on a weekday, so I’d expect it to be longer on weekends. The chili cheese dog seemed to be the most popular choice, and they also feature fun specialty dogs named after celebrities. I’d also recommend trying their onion rings.
Iconic place for over 80yrs. Always packed with long line after 11pm on the weekends. The hot dog is 9inches long and with topping that you shouldn’t have but make your mouth drooling and wants more. The place is small with pics of celebrities hanging on the walls. They might have their name to the dog hot the month or a period of time. They also have a small parking -10-15 cars max, there’re also street parking too. The staff are nice and helpful, service is nicely moving quick. The dogs are good, nothing special but at 11pm to early morning, especially after drinking and clubbing - just simply delish. The chili is nicely cooked and goes perfectly well with fries or hot dog. Either way, iconic place to stop by after a night on the town or quick bite before the night.
Pink’s Hot Dogs is definitel one of those famous LA spots, so we decided to drive over just to try it. Honestly though, I didn’t really get the hype. Maybe it’s because we took it to-go and by the time we ate, it was cold — but the sauerkraut and hot dog combo just didn’t work for me. I feel like it’s probably much better if you eat it fresh on the spot, so I’d recommend dining in. On the plus side, the design and vibe of the place are super cute, and parking is easy. If you’re nearby, it’s worth checking out for the experience, but I wouldn’t go out of my way just for it.
Super popular place for chili dogs, but I don’t see why. They don’t taste very good to be honest. The atmosphere was eclectic and it’s a really cool place to be and see photos of famous people who have frequented here. However, the food just didn’t taste that great. I asked for the pink famous chili hamburger, with added jalapeños, and it just didn’t even have any flavor. Their french fries with chili also were not appetizing. To be known for their chili and the chili have zero flavor, is really a no-no. The service was outstanding, however very kind friendly people.
