If you're up early and you go to Starbucks isn't opened up to your convenience you can always count on this place being up and it's always a great place for a cup of joe and a great donut and a ham and cheese bacon croissant is always good to have too as well I know this place for a very long time over 10 years easy and I want to say they've been always quite nice customer service and the families a beautiful family please be respectful and the prices are just right

Searched for “the best donuts” near me and I think these would be worth the drive even if it wasn’t right near me. Very friendly counter staff and just felt good giving them my business.

Delicious donuts and a very nice older couple who own the place and cook. The apple fritter I had was one of the best I have ever eaten. I bought a few different types and the leftovers were still good the next day. I will definitely be back.

This small, cash-only donut shop is a hidden gem in downtown El Segundo. The donuts are fresh every morning and the lady is super nice. The jelly filled donut was super delicious, with the donut being super light and fluffy and the bite of tart, fresh (real fruit) berry jelly. Mind-blown at how good the donuts were. This place cheaper than Krispy Kreme and 100 times better. Their original glaze is chef's kiss and my friend had a maple donut from both krispy Kreme and The Donut and said that The Donut was a lot tastier and flavorful. I woke up at 5am just to walk there before my flight at 8am. I was able to take home a piece of El Segundo wtih me.

Their donuts blown me away! I'm quite sure these are the best I've ever had in my entire life. It's a tiny place, cash only, but please try these delicious treats if you are here. The lady is SO nice. I'm so far away now and don't know if I'll ever get a taste again, but oh, how I loved this sweet spot. LAS MEJORES DONUTS DEL MUNDO.

The donuts are delicious as can be! They are cash only so bring about 48 plus a bit more for a tip if you want 4 dozen. I am so glad they trusted me to run back with cash. I will be back someday.

In my opinion The Donut is the best (consistently good) doughnut shop in the area (that means better than Randy's....and the rest of the local choices). Some items sell out early...there is a parking lot (somewhat challenging at times) Highly recommend. Note: recently the long time owner's retired and sold the business. It's been one of the best donut shop in the South Bay, hopefully the new owners can do as good of job. 🤞

Because of great reviews, I stopped by at 6:30am the other day. I was expecting the normal fare of donuts, but fresh (it was still early). They looked large and fluffy. But they were hard, like they were made the night before and had been sitting out all night. I find the donuts at Dough Boys on Imperial in ES much better.
