Ordered Carry out this time because doordash wants to charge $2.99 delivery fee. They were really friendly, place is super clean and the pizza is always hot and fresh. I always check when I order extra sauce and good thing i did because they forgot it. No big deal, they're busy people. Definitely will be back.

Update on review 7/23/25 6:00pm Pizza was great but however customer service was lacking on today’s visit pretty much we told them our name on the order and the guy put the pizzas on the counter and walked away no thank you or anything. Great customer service And delicious pizza. Been to many pizza places around town this place ranks the top of the list.

Haven’t had Papa John’s in a long time and glad we ordered again. It was really good, crust was soft and fresh. Boxes were sealed and pizza was fresh and they gave free garlic sauce for everything we ordered. Jalapeno poppers were a hit and I was amazed at how FAST it was from start to finish. Ordered online was able to track it and got our orders delivered in 30 minutes. Delivery fee was also not bad and just OVERALL the experience, food, service, and price were really good. Guess this is our new go-to for pizzas now. Thank you!

A lot of people came in and out while I was there and all seemed to be regular customers. I spoke to one customer while we were both waiting for our pizzas. He said it was his favorite pizza place in the Sacramento area.

My first time ordering with this pizza chain and I ordered the Shaq-a-roni. It was ok not like advertised to me and nothing to write home about. Ehhh it was ok I wouldn't call myself a repeat customer. 😬

Use to be great, but I ordered 2 pizzas and wings to be delivered by 6 pm and received it at 6:20, slightly warm. I only live a block in a half away. The person delivering was rude as well. And at 6:15 when I asked where my order was I was only told "sorry, we have been busy". This is like the 3rd time.

First time buying pizza here, not real impressed. Almost no sauce and very little cheese. Even the toppings wouldn’t stay on the crust bc nothing was holding them on. Crust is pretty awesome and the flavor of the pizza was ok, just would have been better with more sauce and cheese for $30

So the governor gave you a $5 an hour wage increases. Now you make more than most senior citizens on social security. Your job 90% automated yet you can't even get an order right or make a good pizza. I ordered New York style regular cooked and get burnt thin crustless pizza. And you want a tip?!

After over 13 years ordering from this location alone, I was treated so badly by the manager who claimed his name was "Carl" on an error they made with my pizza that I had delivered. I've never had to complain about an order before this so I wasn't expecting the treatment I received. All I asked for was no onions on my pizza and they arrived with onions. I called the store to try to get a replacement as I know mistakes can be made. I was treated with total disrespect and was argued with. All "Carl" had to do was either replace the pizza or offer me a coupon for my next visit. When I asked for the corporate's number he gave me one that didn't exist. I looked it up online and called, having to actually make a formal complaint. This is so disappointing because I do like their pizza and sides however I will no longer be ordering from them and my word of mouth will encourage others not to as well. If you only want a pepperoni or cheese pizza, I wouldn't take the risk here to ensure that you get your order correctly. "Carl" will not help you in rectifying your issue. Also, if you contact corporate they will only revert you back to the store with no help. They don't actually support their franchise. I didn't know this about this company so it's another reason I will never order from them again. I feel like I just got robbed, over a simple pizza. Don't support this behavior! I'll be ordering from Domino's from now on.

They also overcooked the pizza slighty burnt on the bottom, the crust was very hard. It was very difficult to chew for my parents.
