Golden Owls Elmhurst Reviews
My new favorite spot to have great tasting sushi at a reasonable price. The establishment is relative small only three tables. However don’t let their sizes fooled you as their food is phenomenal. The employees are sweethearts and very accommodating. They suggested excellent pieces to try and I left with a smile on my face and a full belly. Stamp of approval! A must visit location. 🫰🏼🍣
Good food, everything is made right when you order. The lobster roll is so good. Sushi's are fresh up to per with the expensive gourmet sushi I had in the city. But my absolute favorite will have to be the dry noodles, Abura. We keep going back for it, very addicting.
A small place for a good ramen and excellent sushi. The service was quick. Would recommend if you are craving for a good ramen and sushi. This may be our fourth time visiting here.
This is my favorite ramen place here in Queens. It is a small restaurant but their food and service are out of the ordinary. The ramen’s soup is thick, flavorful, and not salty at all. The service is always amazing. They make sure that you have all you need. They are very warm and friendly.

The sushi taste super fresh and tasty. They make it right in front of you. They have a small area where you can eat right there. Highly recommend. Update; I tried the Miso Ramen and it was very flavorful and delicious. The noodles were good. For the price I felt like there could have been a little more ingredients, but otherwise it was delicious.
grandma was sick so got her some spicy miso ramen- instantly revived her appetite! soup was very filling for a great price, and the chicken karaaga was delicious too. small place, friendly staff, will absolutely come again.
So happy to see a new sushi spot that opened up within a 2-3 minute walking distance from my home! Right now it’s soft opening so their menu is limited, but they will be adding onigiri, ramen, and other menu items. Just came here to get lunch, 2 rolls: crunchy shrimp tempura roll and spicy salmon roll. Both rolls are tasty, fresh, and delicious! Customer service is good and friendly. There’s a 2nd location at Grand Central as well. If you’re in Elmhurst or around the area, stop by for some freshly made sushi.
Really good- super fresh rolls and great prices.
Good little neighborhood spot! Friendly service and sushi is made fresh when you order.
They have tasty vegan ramen, and it’s a reasonable price!
Food was so good!
soooo good
Good stuf !
Sushi is really good and fresh here. The ramen also exceeded my expectations. The broth is good and they pack it nicely for to-go. I'm really glad this opened at this spot! Also, they have 3 tables here now to allow a few people to dine in! Really love this place and much better in quality, comparably to the other established sushi spots nearby!
El lugar no es muy lindo, pero la comida es deliciosa y la preparan en el momento.

We didn’t try their sushi but you can see that they make it to order in front of you. We tried their regular tongkatsu ramen to go (15 min between when we got our order and when we ate our noodles). The broth is very light and creamy. I unfortunately did not taste a very deep pork flavor in the soup but for the area (there are barely any purely Japanese cuisine places around) and the price, it’s good. The noodles were very springy. I appreciate that they separated the noodles and toppings from the broth for take out. It was the perfect amount of noodles and toppings for the amount of broth. The storefront is brightly lite and the interior was very clean. There’s only two people working there and you can tell they pay attention to detail.

Good sushi but they could be a little more faster on making them
I used to love this place because of their delicious ramen, but on my recent visit last week, I was surprised to find out they no longer sell ramen. I’m not sure what happened, but this was the main reason I came here. It’s disappointing that it’s gone—it was one of my favorites. Maybe they should consider changing the name if ramen is no longer on the menu.

A little overpriced for mediocre food. My food was either overcooked or old. I do like the customer service they were very friendly but the food wasn’t good for what it’s worth. But you can check them out for other things if you like just not for me.also the place was very tiny so it’s only room for a small group.

Abura, dry noodles = salty, way too much sesame oil (had to ask for sugar to mellow it out).. toppings could be better, mehh.. i ate all the corn cuz it was so salty.. takeout: cooked eel sushi.. i asked them when this was cooked because obviously i'm concerned as a cooked food made cold with sushi rice.. owner? argued with me that i was asking a complicated question when literally i just asked when was this cooked, and even if he got it from somewhere else, asked when it came in... he got mad.. refunded me.. overconfident in their food, obviously not worth the price..
