Konarq Emeryville Reviews
Inside the Public Marketplace food court center. Quality Indian food. Slowly working my way through all the dishes. Haven't had a bad one yet. Great flavors and good portions.
I come to the bay area for travel frequently and I ALWAYS come here to get amazing food. The chicken Tikka is bomb, the lamb is on another level and always get a ton of nann !! I think about this place when I am gone because it is really good.
Amazing Indian food with the right blend of spices and authenticity! Highly recommended ✌🏼
Lamb shank for $18. Good value, and it’s my love.
Lemon honey chicken and lentil curry, Just delicious!

Absolutely delicious. I got the tandoori chicken, which almost melted in the mout. Service was quick and respectful. Fits in amazingly in the Public Market. Got to watch football on another establishment’s tv.
This place is great. The staff there are so friendly, it's really well priced, and the portions are filling. We typically get their chicken tikka masala, vindaloo, or curry. I really enjoy their fresh naan, and also appreciate that they have gluten free mains which is important for my partner. They offer a small tasting sample if you need it, as they have many options and you may want one before deciding. My only wish, and I agree with some other reviews on this, is that you could order something extra spicy. Enjoy!
This restaurant is so underrated, food was so good, naan was good and freshh, the rose lassi was very good too!!! Would definitely go again!
The tandoori chicken tikka was the best I’ve had in recent memory. Their marinade and seasoning was on point. And the Garlic Naan fresh off the tandoori oven perfectly rounded the meal. I recommend giving them a shot if you’re in the Emeryville food plaza.
I had the Chicken Tikka Masala, and it was absolutely delicious — a flavor that words can’t fully describe. The naan was excellent, and the Mango Lassi paired perfectly with my lunch. The portions were generous. I planned to take photos, but the food looked and smelled so good that I forgot. Overall, I highly recommend Konarq.

Great serving of cashew chicken, rice and salad for the price. I’d have preferred it spicier. Super fast service.
Enjoyed the Rose lassi: great taste and price. They were the first to close so we were unable to buy a samosa.
The ras malai wasn't really for me and the salad was underwhelming, but the chicken tikka masala was incredible with the jasmine rice

Still the best deal at the Emeryville market. Big portions for the lowest prices you will find at the place. The chicken is so tender. The sauce they pour over the rice is awesome. I will return.
Excellent curry tikka masala tho I was looking for something more like coconut chicken I guess. Maybe he has that. They have all the spices down. The onion naan was served hot from the tandoor and is fluffy and joyous, saving some for later.

As lifelong resident, sadly, I have to say that this entire Emeryville market installation is overpriced, only suitable for 1% of the locals, and a lot of the food has a mall flavor to it as did my combo plate, with chicken curry, and lamb Curry, with Naan, and a mango Lassie, all of which cost me $33. This is literally double the price of places like Indus Village in Berkeley. Both currys were bland, and the non was absolutely flavorless, having been pre-cooked and then stored in tin foil. People not native to this area may like this place cuz they don't know of the other places that are available, or maybe it's just convenient for them, but this restaurant, and this entire market installation we're not designed with local people in mind, period. Having said that, the people working there were very nice, and cordial and helpful when I asked questions. I just wish the food was better, less expensive, and available to many of the low-income or working class people that live in the surrounding neighborhoods that installations like this have replaced

Only Indian food outlet in complete complex- indeed a bold decision. Food options - veg & Non veg - 5/5 Tried Palak paneer with rice - 3.5/5 very mild- Food served at room temperature-lot of scope for improvement. Samosa- 3/5 filling can be bit spicy, reduce filling a bit & make crispy overall. Pricing - ok
Most of the food I've tried is way too sweet for me. I'd love them to take most of the sugar out of the naan and the chicken tikka masala. TBit the lamb shank is delicious!

For almost $20.00 a plate of chicken, and a little vegetable, I could not get filled up- they give very little food for $20.00. The only reason i still went here is because there is no other Indian food. I will stop going here soon. And when I protested one employee - the smaller guy became rude. I have been going to this place when the old lady owns this place. But the son is rather stingy. Hope they change because I am sure other customers suspect this.
