Great selection of tapas at a very good price and a huge selection of Gins! You can choose the number and size of the tapas. We had 6 XL tapas for 2 and additionally lentils, which was perfect for two. The mini hamburgers were the best. As a dessert, we had the warm chocolate cake, very delicious! Try the Nordés Gin, it’s amazing! We ended up having a couple of Gins and spent the whole evening there. The people were really really nice and friendly and we had a great time trying food, Gins and shots. Amazing! The restaurant is on a very nice and calm street, which we really liked. Looks like the owners knew many of the people eating there, I think they do not only come once. We would definitely go back, but it was our last evening in Estepona (unfortunately). Thanks for the great evening!

Love love love this place!!! I went with my friend and we had such a fun night filled with the most delicious food, every gin ever invented and exceptional hospitality! You won't find better hosts than Amina and her dad! Can't wait to go back in Jan!

The food part was done by the time we got there but Amina was happy to point us in the direction of where to get something to eat. (Even though it seemed like they had awesome deals -a rarity -on Tapas!) We returned for drinks and were glad we did but sad that we hadn't found that place sooner. Appears Amina and her father run the place. He is pleasant to have a chat with and he puts on some good tunes. But she make the place for sure! She bounces around and gives off great energy. She would sit and chat with every table and they had one of the better beer selections we have seen. The 8% cherry Belgium beer is dope! Place also comes with a cute neighborhood cat who will do tricks for a prawn. Loved it!

19 May 2023. Just back from Hopper Tapas Lounge Bar in Estapona. A hidden gem. Cannot recommend it enough. Made to feel so welcome by the owners, father and daughter, who were both fabulous.

Due to the bad weather in March 2025, I was only able to get here once. (outdoor dining only) Unfortunate for me, because the tapas was outstanding and the owner is a total sweetheart who gives amazing service. Great pricing as well! I will definitely be going back on my return trip to Estepona.

A really amazing place. The owner holding the front of house was brilliant, funny, engaging and so hard working. Food was so tasty that we just wanted to keep eating, so compliments to her partner in the kitchen. All we can say is, if you value authenticity, are willing to respect uniqness and the owners philosophy, then this will be a place for you.

Very well sited on the corner of beautiful Calle Cruz, opposite the museum and just a hop and a skip from the Castle and the Clock Tower, this newish bar (newish Spring 2017) has a lot to offer. Drinks, of course. Tapas? Certainly. A full meal? You bet ! A classy decoration and tables outside in what is practically a traffic-free area all add up to a very pleasant spot. .

Lovely small bar did lovely tapas when we were here 2 years ago. However no food or coffee available this time round. Not sure why? But the drinks and atmosphere are good. Hopefully they will have the kitchen going again soon. Lovely staff very friendly

Accueil sympathique et chaleureux. La serveuse est très agréable et souriante. Malheureusement, je m’attendais à manger des plats de tradition familiale, mais certains tapas étaient décevants. Rien de ce que j’ai goûté n’était mauvais car effectivement j’ai fini mon assiette. Mais quel dommage que les patatas bravas soient identiques aux potatoes de Mc Donald et la Sangria banale pour un prix de 15€ Mon conseil: Tirez le positif des remarques des clients sans tenter de vous justifier avec des arguments irrecevables. Quand je lis la réponse à votre cliente qui vous parle d’un manque d’assaisonnement « les moules sont cuisinées fraîches mais elles ont juste le goût qu’offre la mer » Je vous répondrai que c’est tout l’art d’un chef de cuisine de sublimer ses produits. Chaque cuisinier part avec les mêmes ingrédients, certains en feront des assiettes immangeables et d’autres des plats 5* Bonne continuation..

A la lecture des commentaires élogieux nous avions hâte de faire frémir nos papilles. Sur place, nous avons découvert un Bar à tapas situé à l'écart de la foule sur une petite place calme et pittoresque. L'accueil et le service furent très agréables et souriants. Nous avons commandé une dizaine de tapas, aux premières dégustations apparurent nos déceptions : les patatas bravas ressemblaient plus à des potatoes McCain qu'à du fait maison, les moules au citron et les crevettes (décongelées) etaient sans saveur et les croquettes de crabe semblaient sortir du traiteur chinois. Le plus grand désarroi est survenu lorsque nous avons surpris la serveuse verser la célèbre sangria Don Simon (vendue 1,89€ en promo chez lidl vs 15€ 1,2L au Hopper) dans une carafe remplie de glaçons et quelques tranches d'oranges. En conclusion, vous n'y mangerez pas mal mais si vous recherchez l'authenticité locale et le "home made" ce n'est pas le bon endroit..

Schöne Bar um den Abend ausklingen zu lassen. Leider gibt's momentan dort nichts zu essen. Küche öffnet erst im Oktober wieder.

Nous aurions bien aimé donner notre avis sur ces tapas mais malheureusement nous avons été refusé ... car nous avons des enfants!!! Une véritable honte! Une discrimination, cela devrait être puni . Même les chiens sont plus considérés et ont le droit à leurs gamelles.... De véritables espagnols n'interdiraient jamais l'accès aux enfants. Bref, une honte pour les gérants de ce lieu.

Tapas bar that does not serve tapas in summer !! I have given this a one star because we walked for 30 mins looking forward to good tapas as previously reviewed, only to find they don't do tapas in the summer... this should be made clear... it's like someone requesting us to fix a lift and us turning up and saying we don't fix lifts... I'm sure as the previous reviews it's great when they do tapas!! but it should make it clear this advertised speciality is not always available to stop disappointment.
