The garlic shrimp tacos with mango salsa were out of this world. I will be back to try more dishes from the menu. Food is fresh. Excellent preparation. Traditional Mexican food, and unique dishes. This family run restaurant is a gem in Humboldt County!

We decided to go here on a whim based on past reviews and some light research, and are so happy we found this place. It was hands down the best service, and most authentic Mexican cuisine we’ve ever had. The pictures don’t do justice to the deliciousness of the food! Sometimes Mexican food bothers our stomachs, but not this time. It was delicious and I feel refreshed from this experience!

Delicious! Visiting from out of state and the food and drink was exactly what we were hoping for. The service was also great and attentive. The corn tortilla chips were perfect & fresh. Choice of 2 salsas and both were very good and tasty. Had the Carne Asada, Fish Tacos & a Blackberry Margarita! ¡Muy bien! Gracias😁

This place is your quintessential small town delight. Very friendly staff, delicious food, and we heard the hostess and waiter recognize and confirm dishes for 4 guests coming in, while we were eating. We tried a few things, all fabulous. A chicken burrito, a gordita prensada (corn masa covered in a blend of delicious veggies) - fresh and delicious , and finally the chile ajo (pork & cactus slow cooked with yellow chiles) - OMG AMAZING!

Nice atmosphere, excellent service, super friendly staff. The salad bar was fresh and lots of options, I could go there just for that but if corse I had to try a menu option since it was our first time there. Hubs got the chimichanga with a side of molé sauce, and I went out on a limb and selected the Huarache combo, polenta base topped with the carnitas, radish pico and avocado salsa with rice & beans. Also has horchata, very happy. So tasty!!! So filling!! I had to sample my partners molé and all the flavors were hitting. I’ve already decided I’m getting the chicken molé next time we visit. Great spot in Henderson Center, Eureka!

The owner was so friendly and welcoming, and the menu has Oaxacan specialties that my partner and I loved! The masa was sooo good—we will definitely come back next time we’re in town :)

My boyfriend and I stopped here for dinner during a Pacific coast road trip. What a great choice! The servers were great: speedy, attententive, kind and humorous. Our food was delicious and presented wonderfully. The best part was that the food felt light and healthy and and we did not feel weighed down after. I can't recommend this place enough!!

Medium size generic strip mall space with murals of stone Aztec gods and Mexican music. Good American style salad bar. Fresh tortilla chips with two mild salsas in dressing dispensers with small dipping bowls. Cloth napkins! All tables are clean and set with a friendly waiter seating us. Large menu with some unusual items, many with mole. We ordered spicy chicken mole with salad bar and vegetarian sopes. The mole was very spicy. Just two corn tortillas included, but were soft and flavorful, like hand made. Rice was semi sticky and excellent, beans were whole and wet. No garnish, pico, or crema on combo plate. Very little cheese sprinkles on beans and sopes. A large portion of chicken breast is completely covered in mole. Better than many other sit down Mexican Restaurants in Eureka. We spent about forty bucks after tax and before tip for two meals and drinks. Will return to try other menu items.

Wow! The service was so friendly and welcoming :) He was knowledgeable about making menu items vegan and was happy to offer choices. The drinks were shockingly affordable and delicious. Would be happy to patronize again!

The sweetest family ever serving such delicious food! I'm a sucker for their salad bar always fresh veggies, the spicy mole is a must try! I LOVE the garlicky prawns (taco, quesadilla, burrito) with their mango salsa, just perfection. We love this place and it is our go to spot.

Absolutely the sweetest family and some of the best Mexican food in the area. Spicy and sweet mole are both out of this world. I’m obsessed with their soup! Every soup I’ve tried here, and I have tried about 5 flavors, are always so delicious.

Maybe the BEST Spicy Mole I've ever had ! (Lived and enjoyed Mexican food in San Jose, CA for 34 years) Their Salsa served with the chips could definitely be spicier though... Their Michelada's are HELLA GOOD !!!!!!! Salad Bar (GREAT IDEA) is also fire.... Chicken is always super tender... Everything I've had here is delicious, you can tell the ingredients are great and always cooked with LOVE ! A beautiful family worth supporting... You won't regret eating here!!

Employees are friendly & semi knowledgeable about items on the menu. Order was taken & food arrived in a timely fashion. What I ordered is not what I received. Order was corrected but they threw my meal together. Food on plate was sloppy but tasted fine. After we were done with our meal, it took a while before they cleared our plates & brought us the check. I think they are a little over priced, especially on side orders & extras. Menu's felt greasy & needed a good wipe down. Some of the tables looked like that had been wiped down with a dirty wet rag. For about the same price or maybe even a little less, there are other places I would prefer to eat at.

Excellent neighborhood gem. We had the Hurache and a Mole Chimichanga. Absolutely fresh ingredients prepared with love. The Masa Hurache was a pillow of goodness’. The Mole was a bit sweet but so flavorful. If you’re in Eureka give it a try

I was excited to try this place based on the reviews and since I was in the area. doing take out only. The salsa is very good and flavorful! I got the chili releano combination plate and was disappointed in flavor and size. I paid $16 Could have been an off day ?

The best chicken enchiladas with mole sauce. She makes her own and you can tell it’s homemade. I’ve tried other places and their mole sauce sucks compared to hers. Fantastic people good fresh crisp salad bar also. I think they are #1 in eureka

We are from San Diego and have the experience of true Mexican cuisine. We wanted to try this restaurant based on the reviews. It took us 25 minutes to get waited on despite there only being a few people in the restaurant. The food here was just okay. The chips were made of flour, not corn, as most of the chips in Eureka and Arcata. The beans tasted like canned pinto beans seasoned with a little salt. The rice was bland. We shared a Fajita burrito that was supposed to have steak. There were only tiny pieces of beef, definitely not what we expected. Very disappointing.

The breakfast burrito is mostly potato cut into huge pieces. It should probably be called a potato breakfast burrito so it doesn't mislead customers. Only had a few bites of other ingredients at the end of the burrito but other than that it tasted good and the service was friendly

I asked for hot salsa to go with my shrimp burrito plate. The server brought me a ramekin of spicy mole and charge me $6 for it. When I asked why it’s $6, he said if I ordered the mole burrito plate which has the same mole on the side it is $1.50, so it’s cheaper, but if I ordered it on the side (although it literally is the same thing) it is $6. I just wanted spicy salsa. Tapatio would’ve been great. Never coming back
