Panda Wok Evans Mills Reviews
We order here regularly! The staff is super friendly and the food is your basic Chinese American comfort food!
Delivery took a bit but then I ended up with more food than I knew what to do with and it was good. Enough food for three meals!
Regardless of these reviews, their food always hits the spot! Service via phone and in person is emaculate. :)
Been ordering from them for the past 3 years. They are always on time and always get my order right! Super nice staff.
This place is great. It is outstanding Chinese/American food and they bend over backwards for their customers. Don't listen to the racist rednecks that give this place sub-par reviews. Their food is right where it needs to be and the service is great.
Love their sweet and sour chicken and beef lo mein. Food is always prepared quickly and good. Good price for what you get.
Honestly it's been a while since I've had this high quality Chinese food. And prices are very good. It did take a while to get here. But worth it.
I got beef and vegetable lo mein, cheese wontons, orange and honey chicken with 2 small pints of rice the food was delicious I plan on going here again from now on
I went to order food, I'm in fort drum yaknow order it and it gets here fast, and the man calls me to tell me he is here, and as I am walking out this man has my food in one hand, and a suitcase of one of my battles moving in in his other hand, the amount of respect that I have for that man helping out one of our own when he didn't have to at all warrants a sixth star and then some, thank you sir.
I've been eating here for years. Really love general chicken and sweet and sour chicken
We made a huge order for our troops and they delivered everything fast. The food was great!
Absolutely LOVE this place. Great price, great food. Always super super fast. Delivery is crazy cheap and fast. Couldnt be more satisfied. :)
Pretty tasty. The dumplings are great. I eat here regularly and I am never disappointed by the food.
The chicken and vegetables are really good. Egg rolls are very good Noodles are good
Food was delivered within 20 minutes. I was impressed by that. Everything in the order was correct, and it was a very decent amount of food. More than I was expecting. It was hot and fresh. I honestly didn't expect this so damn good job to Panda Wok!
We have been ordering all over the fort drum area this one is by far the best with delivery we ordered a ton of food they said an hour wait we had it in like 30 min and it was all still hot and delicious. We found our new delivery place!!!!!
Idk what these people in the reviews are yappin about. Food is hot, fresh, and flavorful. Delivery was super fast. Definitely happy.
Have no issue since I have been eating and regular customer here. Love the food. I always get my combination 3 chicken, shrimp, and steak.
After reading reviews I was scared to order but I was craving Chinese food as we just PCS here and are staying in the cabins until our home is ready on post.. He told me one hour and it came within that hour, he was polite, and the delivery lady was polite, and the food was good. We ordered the simple sweet and sour chicken, with fried rice, two orders of wontons, and some white rice. No issues and pleased with how it tasted.
Ordered the Triple Delight and House Mei Fun around 7 pm on a Wednesday. I live just down the road, so it was a pretty quick delivery, showed up in about 25 mins. Food was pretty solid with good portion. This is your typical Chinese/American restaurant you can find anywhere, nothing fancy but still good food.
It was very nice I feel very full and happy the only small thing that's popped up was little plastic from the containers that they use. soooo I'd be just alittle cautious but the food is spot on props to the cooks!!! "I've ordered 3 times"
Placed an online order which was my first time eating here. Prices were awesome compared to what I'm used to paying for Chinese food. Order was delivered within 45 mins and was piping hot and fresh! Great flavors and service. Will definitely be ordering from them again!
I love their food. I am a super picky eater and I absolutely love their honey chicken and sweet & sour chicken. They even cook my sweet and sour chicken longer for my personal preference, I have had a hard time getting other restaurants to do that for me. They will now be my go to for Chinese, honestly wish I had tried them sooner. Just didn't realize it was there. Everytime I go as a customer or when I work my Doordash the employees are always fantastic.
every time I order delivery from this place it is always great, and still super hot. They have never messed up on any of my orders. me and my kids absolutely love this place. the young man who delivers the food is so sweet too.
Only Chinese restaurant we eat at!! I don’t know why there are so many bad reviews and experiences but we have never had a bad experience...Pick up or delivery... and we’ve been here 4 years. Once there was a mistake with my rice and they delivered the correct meal 10 minutes later!! Once I was having a pregnancy craving at 9:30pm and I called them and they were more than happy to make our meals even though they were MINUTES from closing. I cannot recommend this place enough.
First time ordering from here, we were a little hesitant because the reviews were all either 5 stars or 1, excellent reviews or "never spending money here again" types. Definitely glad we did! I placed our order online, the site said it would be anywhere from 40mins to an hour which was fine! The nice delivery gal was at our door 30mins later - food was hot, made according to our request, and delicious! Will for sure be ordering from Panda Wok next time we're in the mood for Chinese. Great food, great service and great prices. : )
This place is great! Great atmosphere, great owners, great food!!!
First, their delivery was faster than I expected, it only took about 20 minutes from the time I placed my order and the food was amazing. I ordered their cheese wontons and they were the best I have had along with the rest of the food I ordered. I'm very pleased with their service and I will definitely be eating here alot more (:
This place is great. I don’t understand the low reviews. Food is really flavorful and portions are generous. Their online ordering system is easy and allows you to customize everything. They also have delivery, which is amazing in this rural area.
This place is your typical Chinese takeout/delivery restaurant, nothing fancy but convenient for a quick meal. I usually order the general tso's chicken with egg fried rice (I ask them to make it with white rice instead of the yellow rice) and steamed pork dumplings. And for the price (fairly reasonable), the food is pretty solid. I would definitely recommend giving this place a shot if your in the area and looking for simple Chinese takeout.
The best Chinese food around. Good portions. Great service
This food very real! My whole family is so much happy for this food tonight. We order many things and all so good. The lo mein, so soft noodles. The chicken with peanuts, very peanut and crunchy! My daughter like the dumplings much, she eat all gone. We will be coming back. Thank you for this good family dinner. Much good!
We ordered delivery from here for the first time and it was delicious. Very reasonable prices, very reasonable delivery times, and they have very good sized portions. 100% recommend.
Surprisingly good. Seriously surprisingly good We had the garlic shrimp with shrimp lo mein and beef and broccoli with house lo mein. It was a ton of food and the flavor was good. The egg rolls and spring rolls were good as well. Crispy and not greasy.
I usually get the same items each time, house special friend rice, dumplings, and sesame chicken to last me for a few days. The food is always done in the timeframe they tell you, and you can order from them through DD for delivery if you choose.
Best Chinese food in the county hands down. Even if you have to drive a ways it's worth it. I can't stress enough how good it is, especially in comparison to any of the other places in the area. Do yourself a favor and make them your next take out.
Delivery was surprisingly fast. It took about 20 min. The food was still hot and very good.
Here from out of town and decided to give this place a try. Had the House Special Lo Mein and the Kung Pao Chicken. Both were fantastic!
Not the best ever, but with what Watertown has to offer, they are the best in Watertown. They cook everything so it's not just sitting in a tray to be served. Their lunch specials from 11am-3pm are great for their prices. Cleaner than most Chinese places around Watertown.
They have great selections and just about anything you think of when it comes to this type of food but it isn't fantastic. It's good but not more than that.
Fried rice was delicious . Chicken wings was great and crispy. Delivery was on time if not earlier that I was expecting. I ordered back to back. I even told my wife about how good the food was.
Got the pork Mei Fun. A pint of food for $4 sounded good, and it was. No complaints, better than I expected for the price based off the other reviews. Recommend giving this place a try, at least the cheaper stuff. It could have been better, but it went way beyond expectations for the price.
The steamed dumplings are so good, my daughter shouted when she tried one! I'm happy with the quality and flavor of our food. Definitely my new go-to restaurant!
The fried rice here is really good! The two chicken dinners my wife and I had tasted very similar and wasn't anything special. The rice alone will keep me coming back to try more dishes.
Panda Wok is a good place to go because you get HOT FOOD! Not like the Buffet when it's been sitting there and warm. Also the kids so little the sneeze guard doesn't work and they hit the food. Not a buffet person. Plus they deliver to the surrounding area!! Even Philadelphia as long as you order $25 or more!!!
The food is always great. My suggestion is with the orange chicken. There is no need to add so many orange peels. You get a chunk of it and it ruins the flavor of everything else. Too many and you have a hard time separating it from everything else. Overall love the food and service. Just a suggestion. Less orange peel.
The food arrived very hot and within 30 mins of me ordering. I must have ordered at the perfex t time, which was around noon. Maybe times for dinner are slower. The delivery guy was very nice, fast, and organized. My sesame chicken was good, the fried dumplings were amazing, and the crab Rangoon was ok too. My daughter loved the sesame chicken. The food was your standard fast food Chinese but that's what I wanted so I am not mad at all by it. I only give 4 stars because I felt as though the chicken could have been more crispy and the grease level of the sweet and sour was kinda high. Still yummy!
Second time ordering. I would say 4 stars for the food itself, but it took 1.5 hours to deliver. I won't take away the from the overall rating because it is pay day for military so I am sure it is not their fault for taking so long. I just recommend not ordering delivery during the end/middle of the month
I can only comment on the food. I got the schezuan chicken combination. I thought it tasted good! It's pretty Americanized, with baby corn and all, but the flavor was there. It had a bit more kick than some other Chinese takeout places, but mild enough the average spice adverse person. Good price for what you get.
Food was pretty spot on! Friendly staff and very quick service! My only advice, when ordering the large sweet and sour chicken, ask for extra sauce! Note... usually when you have a large order, over a certain amount, you are offered a free option. A 2L drink, for example, this was not the case with my over $40 order.
I use Panda Wok for delivery, the phone call is always short and to the point - the food is always between decent to "hits the spot". The delivery time could be a little quicker, their General Tso's could be a little better, and twice half my combo has wound up inside the bottom of the bag because they didn't seal it properly. On the plus side their moogoo gai pan and wonton egg drop soup are excellent. Overall I'd rate them a Solid B+ with bonus points for convenience and cordiality
Chinese food that's fast, inexpensive and delivered hot. Quality seems to depend on the night. I've had amazing and mediocre meals, but the possibility of excellence and convenient location are two main selling points
This is the only Chinese food place that I order from. Please do not order anything with shrimp in it, because the shrimps are not de-veined. Other than that their food is very good. I just wish they had bourbon chicken or blackened chicken on their menu.
The spicy option on the lo mein is so spicy it is inedible. I always order one spicy and one not spicy and mix it together. This time not even that tamed the spice enough to be edible. I have a high tolerance for spicy food this is more like sucking on a ghost pepper
Just ordered large beef fried rice, shrimp fried rice, & sweet sour chicken. Asked for extra soy sauce, but only got 4 packs. Called to make a complaint & the young lady said next time I order she'll give me extra soy sauce. What the heck will that do for all the food I ordered now? When we placed our order we asked for extra sauce. When driver delivered we asked was there extra sauce, he said yes. The young lady said the driver can't understand English that well. Why is he delivering if he can't understand English? The food taste good, but service suck.
Well I have never been here saw the mixed reviews.. thought I’d give it a chance.. boy they were not kidding when they said food takes forever.. I kept my order simple. One egg roll and an order of shrimp.... 15 minutes later still sitting here staring at the lady at the counter.... wonder how much longer I will be waiting.. weirdly enough the person who ordered before me received their order before I did.. guess my order is less popular.. when I finally received my food 25 minutes later this is what it looked like.. are pictures below 👇... now to how it tastes... well tastes ok... not $9 worth or 20 minutes long.. but ok... no big hype here.. service was ok.. all business which I liked, smells amazing inside their establishment and area was clean. Ohh and what big downer for me was they didn’t have any sweet and sour sauce in Packets for my shrimp... :-(.
Food is normally good, tonight’s service wasn’t it. Food is extremely late if it’s even coming... I’m not having it tonight period!
I ordered delivery and the food was decent but they charged me twice. Then argued with me about removing one of the charges. Their food isn't $40.00 good, hell, it isn't even $20 decent. Don't order from there!!
Food was subpar in compared to real authentic Chinese food from any metropolitan city. Also customer service is trash.
I use to go here almost weekly!! I got General Tso lunch plate extra spicy and it was amazing. However my last 4 orders including today had ZERO spice and was actually sweet. I understand when a order says 2x Spicy thats open to interpretation. However in nobody's world does double spicy mean sweet. I'm done eating here
The service was good at first but then they started slacking. They messed up my order and they dont leave forks in the bag. They forgot my soda with one order and when they came back to give me my drink they left it outside in a bag hanging off my doorknob. They didn't even ring the door bell or knock on the door to let me know it was there.
It’s really hit or miss with this place I don’t know why we keep ordering it even though the food is not very good. Everything is either bland or way too spicy. There Hot and Sour soup is good. But not very many vegetables in anything! Not fresh. UpdAte - gave it one more chance and it was so terrible I will never order again !
Your food use to be good. I am not sure why the quality declined. I ordered your sesame chicken, and it was barely made of chicken...If at all. I just want what I order, no substitute meat. It was all flavored batter.
I used to get delivery from here often and it was pretty decent. I changed my diet and haven't ordered from here in a long while though. Today, I decided to have a cheat day and ordered delivery from here. I couldn't tell you how it was though, because it never arrived. It's been an hour and a half and I live 8 minutes away from this place. In this time, I could have driven there, cooked it myself, brought it home, ate it, had my evening shower, and gotten into my pajamas. I can tell you, if this isn't a sign to stay on my diet, I don't know what is. Never again.
I ordered beef lo mein for my dinner for pick.up and when I get back to my barrack they had added shrimp. I'm allergic to it. They had done the same thing last Monday to my friend also. I had wasted my gas plus 50 min total driving back n forth just to get the food I ordered. I'm done ordering from this place. My recommendation to people ordering from this place, write down all your allergic food in instruction block so they not messed up your food and waste gas and time to pick again.
Recently moved to the area and was craving some Chinese food. Ordered Chicken lo mien, Kung Pao chicken with rice, dumplings, and hot and sour soup. The Chicken Lo Mien was okay. Nothing more nor less. Kung Pao chicken was just bland and the vegetables tasted frozen. It was also mostly vegetables and peanuts. The dumplings were honestly my favorite part of everything we ordered, but I don’t even think they were made in house. The hot and sour soup was completely flavorless. I had to add salt and hot sauce to even taste anything. Probably won’t be coming back.
Ordered Christmas Eve, kid got puking sick from the sweet and sour chicken, undercooked plain and fried rice, hunks of gross fatty junk meat in the 4 Seasons dish.
Very bland. Not freshly made. Ordered sweet and sour chicken lunch special and got fried chicken with a side if sweet and sour sauce. Also the "fried rice" tasted like rice a roni out if a box.
Would give zero stars but it won’t let me. Literally ate one bite of the sesame chicken my husband got me from there and spit it out. Absolutely disgusting and a waste of money. Never going there again. Gave it to my neighbors to feed it to their dog.
Love Chinese food, but this time we ordered fries. When we got the fries, they were soggy instead of crispy. When I called about it, I was disrespected. Their service is not good.
This place has horrible customer service. Just got my food and the order was wrong. I called them and they said they couldn't give me the right size order, just restaurant credit. What kind of service is that? Lost my business... They can eat it!!!
The restaurant closed before delivering my food. I'm out $15 because of lazy, greedy, inconsiderate employees and a terrible establishment altogether. I will never order from here again and, I'll advise others to do the same.
I have food poisoning because of their food. I ordered wonton szechuan style and lo mein. Just be careful
Wish I could give out less star. Been waiting for that effing food for about an hour and 10 mins. Called the place 10 mins ago he told me it's on the way. Called him again just now he is telling me the same thing but I have not received the food. Bad customer service and delivery time and all. Jesus.
Placed a online order with a tip knowing I was gonna have to wait 60-75 min before my order was delivered. 2 1/2 hours later with 20min left before closing and I still haven’t received my order. Every time I called they said my food was on its way but drive time is only 9min away, I’m confused...never again.
Ordered orange chicken and lo mein, got it 2hrs later, paid driver $20 and driver owed me $5.05 but didnt give me back my change yet chicken isnt as good as panda express.
Very simple, shrimp is supposed to be de-veined before putting into your food. Despite the gross shrimp, the food here was not worth the price or trouble.
Ordered General tso’s chicken for delivery. Only thing positive to say is that the food came rather quickly. Other then that...it was tasteless, bland, didn’t have any spice. Even the can of Pepsi that came with it was warm (a cold drink would be nice). Do not recommend unless you like tasteless Chinese food
Got my food from here. On the selection it made me choose extras so I picked a sauce that said free. After paying my bill and signing the receipt. I got a email saying my price was changed and they added more money to my card without my approval. I'll be calling my bank to stop this. The web site said there is nothing they can do
2 hour wait! they said it was an hour but went over and hour due to short of staff. food was good. However I wish it arrived earlier! They are always on at least and hour wait on deliveries when I call. If you're gonna come here make sure you go in. They're also known to blow snot in people's food. I go to Ruyis now
Impossible to tell if what I was chewing on was meat.. or a sliced up tire in sauce. Tried two different menu items on separate days, and was only able to ingest one, barely. The other I just chewed like gum until there was no flavor and then spat out the rest.
An hour and half after we ordered we called and our food was ready but the delivery driver wasn't back yet. 35 mins later we went ahead and called to cancel our order for full refund because no way the food was still good anyways. Couldn't even tell us when we'd get our money back. Terrible customer service. Zero remorse.
TERRIBLE food. The lo mein was bland and lacking any hint of flavor. In contrast, the Singapore Mei Fun was so spicy rendering it completely inedible. I grew up eating thai chilis and curry and have a high spice tolerance. The only item that was surprisingly decent was the dumplings.
Worst place in town for anything near authentic Chinese food. Honey chicken absolutely disgusting!!! Looked like pork. Most of their Sauces with their chicken options taste the exact same. 0/10 would not recommend!!
They were good until the last time I ordered. I ordered for delivery over the phone using my credit card. After giving him my order I was told there was a "delivery fee" of 2 dollars. Before I could ask if this was for the tip I was told "it'll be there in one hour" and he hung up. Okay, whatever, he's busy. Guy shows up (ahead of time), I sign and give him an additional 4 dollars. My order came out to 20 bucks. Whether the delivery fee was his tip or not, I tipped well. Apparently he didn't think so because the next time I ordered the donuts for my coworkers (which I had praised before), they were super SALTY. There was no mistaking it. They put salt on the donuts instead of sugar. The donuts were cold, probably old. The salt was piling up at the bottom of the bag too. Such a waste good food is made by terrible immature unprofessional asshats. But I hear the message loud and clear. Will not be ordering again.
Beef lo mein noodles had virtually no beef in it. Disappointed. Go elsewhere
I’ve had some “okay” meals from here, but today was the turning point for me. My husband and I both got the general tso lunch special. The chicken was so inedible, it basically tasted like yesterday’s chicken re-fried and put into the meal. The rice was still hard. I don’t have high standards when it come to American Chinese food, I’m from a small town I’m FL, but today was a total disgrace to Americanized Chinese food. I can’t believe we spent the money on something that I couldn’t eat. 🤢 Considering this restaurant is right out side Ft Drum, I expect them to do better since there’s so much traffic.
They got the wrong order and we had to go back and forth between my place and the restaurant two times. We ordered a Vegetable lo-main , a chicken lo-main and spring-rolls. When we opened the bag, we only had two VEGETABLE LO-MAIN. We gave them a call and told them we are on our way back. When we got there the guy gave us only the chicken lo-main and forgot about the spring-rolls AGAIN. So we had to wait about 10 minutes until they cooked the spring-rolls. Service was terrible. By the time I got home my noodles were already getting cold. The food was SUPER salty and made my husband's stomach upset. Never going back there again.
I would normally give this place 5 stars, but when I stopped there tonight, they lost all my respect. I work with the developmentally disabled and I went in there with some of the people I support and the look that I was given put me in disbelief. It was a look like OMG they are coming in again. I probably should not have ordered from there, but the people I support wanted Chinese food and they are the closest. So I waited til we got our food and then I told them that I didn't appreciate the look we got when we first walked in and neither did the individuals that were with me. I said we will NOT be back and that it was sad because they were my favorite place to get Chinese food and then I grabbed our food and left. They didn't even look like they cared. I cannot support a business like this and neither should anyone else. If I could have given them 0 stars I would have. Please don't support a business that looks down on others.
I ordered spicy pork combo and only got onions, peppers and under cooked rice with two tiny pieces of pork. The pork looked like they got it from papa johns. Across the street is a sushi place that sells most of the same food that Panda Wok sells (Orange Chicken, General Tso, Steamed Dumplings). It might cost more but it taste a lot better. Also their rice isn't crunchy. I used to overlook their lack of hospitality because the food tasted pretty good.
This place is disgusting! We ordered combination plates, sweet and sour chicken, Szechuan chicken, general chaos chicken, pot stickers (dumplings) gross. Everything was gross, inside the egg rolls were bright red gross meat, the dumplings were all dough. So gross. None of the flavors were good, didn’t even really taste like it was suppose to.
Save the money and go somewhere else. The foods bland and the flavor it does have is not good.
🚨🚨EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!🚨🚨 If you like throwing up from undercooked and probably contaminated food this is the place for you. Currently in the hospital for food poisoning for the second time because of this place!
This has to be the worst “Chinese “ food I’ve ever eaten. People who say it’s “spot on” or it’s their “go to”obviously haven’t had quality Chinese food before. I moved up here in June, coming from lower New York, an hours drive to NYC Chinatown, I’m probably spoiled but even on Long Island the Chinese food was better than Panda Express and over priced to boot I’ll keep moving along and continue learning to make my own, it’s so much better than what I’ve experienced thus far up here.
I ordered beef lo mein received it without any beef. The portions are the smallest from all of the Chinese restaurants. The cost didn't match the product. Especially a plate full of noodles. Last time there
I wasn’t even done ordering on the phone and the guy hung up…considering I spent almost $50 here. Wasn’t like any Chinese food places I’ve ordered from. Place is operated by Spanish folks. Fried rice can tell they didn’t use left over rice because it was soggy and unseasoned. The Pick up Bag was a greasy mess I spent more time cleaning than eating. All I know is that I probably should not order from here again. Especially when a better place (yummy kitchen) 5 minutes extra away was only $34 with 10 times the quality and more food was ordered.
