This place blew me away. Excellent menu, friendly and attentive service, and a relaxing atmosphere. You could tell every ingredient was thoughtfully chosen and each dish tasted so fresh and hearty - we loved everything we got! I wish I could take this restaurant back to Florida with me, but I guess this gives me reason to visit Fargo again. 😊

Delicious new restaurant in Downtown Fargo. Open for reservations as of yesterday (June 24th). I highly recommend you try the crispy cauliflower. Everything we ordered was prepared any presented perfectly :) Book your next date night here!

My macaroni and cheese was 10out10. The ribeye steak was cooked perfectly. The lemon drop wasn't anything special. Went for a birthday dinner. Everyone was really nice. The salmon also cooked perfectly will return.

The Rosewild Restaurant is a wonderful dining experience. The service was great and the food is delicious. Highly recommend the Rosewild Restaurant if you are in downtown Fargo, North Dakota.

My daughter and I were both quite pleased with our meals! I had ordered the stuffed French Toast, but they were out. I found the pancakes to be a suitable substitution and very delicious! I will definitely go back and try the French Toast sometime!

We came for brunch on a Saturday that we stayed in the hotel affiliated with Rosewild. While we did have about a 30 minute wait to get a table, it was worth it! The food was great, not huge portions but definitely enough. The ambiance was also 5 starts as it was very open, bright and cozy. We also came for cocktails 2 nights and enjoyed sitting at the bar and trying a few drinks! The staff was also very fun and helpful. Would recommend!

If you are looking for highly crafted unique twists on Midwest dishes this is a great place for that. The cocktails were well mixed and the food was amazing. The atmosphere was warm and they make a point of incorporating local suppliers into their meals. Would highly recommend.

A wonderful find while passing through Fargo! Service was wonderful, aesthetic was visually pleasing and the food was absolutely delicious! Will definitely have to come back another time!

I had the pleasure of dining here on opening night and everything was fantastic! I loved everything from the creative cocktails, to the delicious appetizers, soup, salads, main courses and desserts. I would order it all again! Outstanding menu, service and experience!

The food was fantastic; everything was delicious, with the exception of the soup, which needed to be reheated—an easy fix, and not a big issue. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, especially since it was our first visit, and we were celebrating my sister’s birthday. It made the occasion even more special. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience in Fargo!

First off, give Elijah (our server) a raise; he provided exeptional service - so friendly, polite, unintrusive, thoughtful, offering water & coffee refills along the way. This is a fantastic spot to eat, esp. for a date night w/ the wife. Cozy & contemporary space, w/ outside dining option, too & a relaxing ambience, conducive to pleasant conversation. Food was outstanding, in presentation, quality, portions & taste. The menu offers a range of options, from more cost-conscious to more expensive, depending on your preference. I'll defintely be back, more than once I'm sure. Highly recommend. And did I mention that Elijah needs a raise? Seriously, I haven't been served so well anywhere in a very long time. Impressed.

I had the pleasure of getting to eat dinner at Rosewild on opening night (6/24) and I could not have been more impressed! Everything from the atmosphere and service to the food/drinks was incredible. The space is very well put together and enjoyable to be in. The servers and other staff members were very accommodating to us and enthusiastic to be there. The star of the show was the food/beverage aspect of it all. The drinks were fantastic and I'm looking forward to trying more of them. The food was absolutely amazing and everything was cooked to perfection. There are so many options on the menu (even for us vegetarians!) and there is certainly something for everyone. The chef (Austin Covert) did an excellent job with this menu and bringing new and exciting dishes to Fargo. I couldn't recommend this place enough! I enjoyed it so much that I've already been back for dinner again and once more in the lounge area, which also has a great ambiance and menu. Make Rosewild the next restaurant you go to, you won't regret it!

The food at Rosewild was absolutely incredible! The Salmon, Steak, and Rosewild Grilled Chicken were perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a special night out. A special shoutout to Shannon, our server, who was attentive, friendly, and made our dining experience truly memorable. The service was top-notch, complementing the exceptional quality of the food. Highly recommend Rosewild – we’ll definitely be back!

Stopped in to get away from the rain and had a fantastic experience! Split the fried walleye sandwich which was so delicious. As well as the rosemary fries and the aioli. Beautiful atmosphere with great big windows in a prime location.

I have eaten there several times. Lunch - Brunch - Dinner - Late Night - Drinks and a Special Event. The vibe here is outstanding. The food is exceptional - don’t pass by the simple items like the onion dip or the burger (my favorites). Their live music events and celebrity chef meals are great. This feels like dining in larger cities, but is very faithful to the flavors and foods of our area. I am from Fargo and Rosewild is a GO TO when entertaining guests from out of town, special occasions or just grabbing a bite while downtown. Their seasonal cocktail menu is worth getting a group together - everyone order something and try a sip of each!

It's just beautiful place to be. Either if dinning alone, with family or friends, it's a beautiful, calm place. And people that works there are just amazing. Keep up amazing work Jasper.

Hands down the BEST ribeye steak I have had in my 32 years of existence. The Brussels sprouts were phenomenal and the homemade chocolate chip cookies where the perfect end to a delicious meal. Keith, the chef who prepared our meal and our amazing waitress Shannon made my wife's birthday night absolutely spectacular. I would 100% recommend this place.

We celebrated a birthday in the family at Rosewild, in downtown Fargo on Friday, October 17. Our server was Allison D. She was great, took very good care of us. The food was amazing, and the atmosphere was the best. Awesome experience!

The food & drinks were lovely. We had the cheese roll & smoked salmon dip to start which were both delicious. I got the ricotta gnocchi & fries for my entree while my husband got the ribeye. It was all outstanding. The ribeye had amazing flavor and although it was expensive it was well worth the cost. The gnocchi was so good as well, all the flavors combined very well. As for dessert we had the white chocolate mousse, it was so rich and decadent. The real winner though was our server, her name was Shannon. She was so lovely and helpful with recommendations. We would come back again just for her service alone.

The french toast with berry compote was fantastic. The hash browns were disappointing. My husband loved his burger. My friend would not order the croque again. The brussel sprouts were delicious. The art in the restaurant and hotel is very interesting and is all local artists.

If you were planning on going to my wife’s favorite restaurant, the Bern Baum and discover it’s permanently closed the wild roses a great second option you’ll need to add mint to your iced tea to make it perfect but the soup and French onion soup are awesome and they don’t make a bad turkey club either

Had dinner here for a friend's birthday. It was my second time eating here. The first time was for my wedding anniversary. First and foremost, the venue is beautiful and luxurious. It's located inside the best hotel in the city, in my opinion, the Jasper Hotel. There's a nice waiting section once you enter. It gives you a moment to embrace the atmosphere and get comfortable. The hostess doesn't waste a lot of time greeting you and getting you and your party situated. The food was great. Their menu for this visit changed from when I last visited. I had the short rib steak, and it was really delicious. Their food and drink menu was fairly priced. I had a glass of Villa Pozzi Moscato. The only downside was the wait time for our entrees, considering that the restaurant was barely packed. Our party of 10 all ordered pretty much the same thing and we had to wait two hours and change before we got our orders. Someone from our party even ended up leaving as a result. Nothing against our waiter Alec, because he did an amazing job catering to us to the best of his ability. I don't really know what the issue was this time around, but we didn't hold it against him. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a fine dining experience and wants to celebrate something special or to even have a casual night out on the town. Just keep an open mind that your entree may or may not take some time getting to you.

We enjoyed brunch here while staying at the hotel. The brussel sprouts were definitely the highlight. The chicken biscuit sandwich tasted good (would prefer something other than American cheese) but had to be eaten with a fork as the biscuit was just falling part. We felt like it was a good amount of food for the cost. The downside was the service, no water refills and some confusion over menus.

Large restaurant with fun, modern color scheme. Lengthy bar. Woodfire oven made whole place smell terrific. Service was solid on a Sunday night. Cocktails were eclectic and delish. We ordered the dutch baby to start. It was brought to the table in a tiny cast iron pan. Cute but taste-wise underwhelming. We had Swedish meatballs as an appetizer. Served in another tiny cast iron pan on a bed of mashed potatoes with lingonberries. Delicious but so are Ikea's. Not being snarky. There really was no dif except price. Roger had roast chicken with roast vegies. Chicken was huge and golden. He dug in and had some to take home. Beautifully plated. He enjoyed it. I had pasta Primavera presented in--? You guessed it: A tiny cast iron pan! (I hope the dishwasher is getting paid well.) If there was pasta in this dish, I did not find it. There was some yummy cheese over sliced zucchini under a mound of bread crumbs. I mean, a serious mound. Like, the kind you could bury a body under! I had to scrape it away, or I'd just have a forkful of bread crumbs. Disappointing dish. I also ordered the watermelon salad. Once again, if a dish comes with a side salad, please politely point that out to your guest. The pastaless primavera had a very nice, crisp, garden salad on side. So, I had 2 salads but no pasta. It's okay. I needed the roughage. Took the leftovers home for lunch the next day. Anyhoo... The reason this is so long is that some of you may be looking for an upscale restaurant for a special night out. I recommend cocktails at the bar.

Stayed in the Jasper and decided to eat here. Beautiful location, atmosphere, and general vibe. No waiting. Waitress was attention. Food was tasty. Dessert was even better. The only negative was the drinks and the general selectionof food is very limited. My husband ordered his first drink which was very very good. He ordered a second and it was served in a tiny glass, no ice and obviously 1/2 the amount of beverage. Was told that it was indeed the same drink, only without ice and different glass, just a different bartender. Hmmm. Took 2 minutes to drink it, and 45 min to drink the first. We left after that.

The atmosphere is beautiful very intricate details in a well curated design. Staff is very friendly and attentive. The food was fairly mediocre. Risotto is a classic dish. If you have a risotto of the day, you should have it on lock. The rice should be cooked fully, not hard in the middle. If you have smoked turkey listed as one of the ingredients, you should know better than to use sliced sandwich meat. The veggies on top were delicious though. I would recommend the cheesy bread thing, that was pretty tasty.

A few weeks ago Fargo was hit by torrential rains that flooded the kitchen of Rosewild, a restaurant in the iconic Jasper hotel in the heart of Fargo. Fortunately for me this past weekend brought the community out to the downtown area to enjoy street fare versus making plans to visit Rosewild. Upon entering this beautiful building, you know that all of your senses will be delighted. The decor was absolutely beautiful. My partner and I were greeted by a server who immediately asked how many were in my party. I told her two and she proceeded to ask did I have reservations, as the restaurant is busy at this time. I looked around at an almost empty dining area, confused by the statement. I stated that I did not have a reservation, and that the Rosewild website suggests reservations but does not require them. The hostess responded with I have to find a place to seat you. By this time I have scanned the room and counted a total of 14 patrons, 16 if you include the young ladies on the terrace enjoying cocktails. Begrudgingly, the hostess found an amazing table for my partner and me in a sea of empty tables. We were greeted by a very friendly server who made great menu recommendations. We also spoke with the manager on duty regarding the exchange at the hostess podium. The manager apologized and explained that normally on a Saturday after the restaurant is busier and reservations are recommended. However, if we arrive during a busy hour, bar seating would be offered or potentially seating in the lounge area until a table became available. At the recommendation of the server, I ordered the burnt pork belly, Jasper Old Fashion, and the hanger steak. I overly enjoyed the Jasper Old-fashion and steak. The pork belly was delicious but the creama and corn took away from the dish. I would have preferred simply pork belly topped with an Asian inspired pickled slaw. Overall I would return for the attentive server, hanger steak, and Jasper Old-fashioned Fashion.

We were here in the afternoon on the lunch, in the evening at dinner and in the morning for breakfast. 1. Lunch. Menu is a little poor and choice a bit complicated, Brussels sprouts were tasty but slightly frightened. Risotto with a pumpkin is boring and little. In the afternoon I did not really like me here. There is not enough fish and meat snack on the bar. Coffee from the espresso machine was also not the best. 2. Dinner. I saw the chef of the cook and noticed how a person is enthusiastic to his work. It's great! I ordered Bison tartar and salad with strawberries and a peas. My husband ordered a bison steak. My tartar was very unusual, but I seemed a little heavy. The salad was awesomely delicious, a bold combination directly into the target! The steak from the bison was furious correctly, I tried it and it turned out to be fine. But as we then realized, on the garnish to such a heavy protein meat, it is necessary to eat more vegetables and greens, after this dinner we had a strong heavy in the stomach. 3. Breakfast. And again the poor menu. I would like to see something more interesting at their prices and in the hotel of this level. Eggs and sausages were very ordinary, like this motel. Coffee was not very good. Conclusion. The restaurant wants to be a high class, but it is necessary to work with the menu. The service is worth a little.

Came in for Sunday brunch and got off to a rocky start but the food redeemed our experience! We came in right at 10 for brunch and the host seemed really abrasive right off the bat. She told us to sit at one of the tables behind her with no menus and no other information. We sat and watched her bring three other tables to the reservation section and continue to ignore our table - we hadn’t even received menus yet. We had to go up to ask for menus and were told that she would “bring them if we can just give her a minute.” I guess if you don’t have a reservation you don’t matter as much to her. A woman, presumably the manager, greeted us and brought over waters and our waitress soon came by. The rest of the experience was seamless and the food was top notch. Our waitress was so sweet and all the staff, except for that hostess, were so nice and helpful.

Honestly it was only OK. The only thing that was pretty good were the Brussel sprouts. The coffee was awful, we had to send it back and have it re-made. I also paid $6 to add on chicken …. I included a picture of how much chicken I got for $6 (it was like 2 oz or less….). Tomato soup was OK, didn’t really have much flavor. Atmosphere was nice, but I wouldn’t come back unless I was just going to work and get the brussel sprouts.

This is our second time trying brunch at Rosewild. Both times we sat in the bar area and had the impression it was understaffed. This time we watched one six top leave after no service and at least ten minutes go by. Our server was pleasant and kind but did not check back in at all after our initial order was taken. We saw her at our table once to order and once to take payment. Her section seemed too large and unmanageable for one person. We did not receive our drinks until our check came and we got them to go. The food was fantastic and we’d like to keep trying but it appears management should reconsider sections to ensure the entire experience matches the caliber of food. Our dining took place on Sunday Nov 2 around 10:30.

Nice quiet place. Good service but well overpriced for what you get. No real complaints but two burgers, beet salad, bowl of soup and three waters for $86...doesn't sit the best with me now. Great friendly server though.

Nice atmosphere. Service was ok. They didn’t have good answers to general questions about the menu; sizes of steaks for example. Should be stated on menu by ounces. My wife enjoyed her Salmon. We had a Mac n Cheese side/app. Bread crumbs were excessive but otherwise it was good. I almost always order a ribeye when on the menu but was shown by the waitress by her hands that it was about the size of a hockey puck, and couldn’t hand over $56 for that. So I got the Hanger steak. It was cooked right and plated nicely but the char/smoke flavor on the outside had a very burnt plastic/rubbery taste and was unbearable. The manager tried to casually tell me that this is normal because they cook over wood fire. I explained that it was not a wood smoke taste, it was for sure something synthetic. He seemed to brush off my opinion and carry on. They did of course remove it from the bill. Even without that bad outer taste, it would have been ok at best. Overall, the food is criminally overpriced for what you get.

I ordered a classic grilled cheese, but it was surprisingly loaded with jalapeño heat—a disappointing choice that ruined a simple comfort food favorite. To make matters worse, I sat at the bar with two strangers who also disliked their meals: one struggled with an unappealingly thick tomato soup, and the other was equally unhappy with their walleye sandwich. I won’t be eating here ever again. Did love the atmosphere and live music.

Went there on Valentines day after viewing the menu online, looked really good! But then, after arriving for our reservation at 2pm, were handed a VERY basic "brunch" menu. I normally wouldn't complain about brunch items...but this selection was subpar to a truck stop diner, and the quality of the food served to us wasnt any better.

Another disappointing experience. We live downtown and like to frequent local restaurants, this does not live up to a downtown nice dining experience which has happened more than once. Reservation at 6:30, ordered a bottle of wine which apparently they did not have in stock, server was not trained on how to approach a customer, took management over 20 minutes to inform us. Ordered a different bottle took another 20 minutes after I asked the host, who was actually helpful, to get a manager to our table. Finally after a 6:30 reservation, we had a bottle of wine at 7:15. Ridiculous wait times, and not that busy, disappointed with service and then the food was cold! Also, kids kept coming in and out from the skating rink next door which distracted all of the patrons.

We wanted to try somewhere we never had in Fargo so we thought Rose Wild would be perfect. From the start of our supper our waitress was rude. I decided to order risotto as an appetizer and the chicken sandwich as a meal. The appetizer took a minute to come out and the restaurant wasn’t busy. There were 3 of us that got the chicken sandwich as our meal and it was terribly dry. I could hardly bite into it, we let the waitress know and she said she could bring us new ones. Then a chef came out and addressed the issue. He pointed out that the sandwich might come out the same way and asked us if we wanted another one. We told him no and he said that he will take the chicken sandwiches off of the bill. Once my bill came I notice I was charge gratitude we asked the waitress about it and she notified us that they charge a 20% for any parties of 6 that come in. One of our friend didn’t order anything so they were only technically 5 people eating food/drinking. However, that wasn’t the main issue, I noticed that I was charge gratitude for TWO CHICKEN SANDWICHES, I brought it up to her attention and she said the second one was because “the other lady didn’t have a tab.” I explained that I would appreciate if they only charge me gratuity for the food I did eat, and the waitress became very rude again, it almost seemed as though she did it all on purpose so she could make more money. She proceeded to go “talk to her manager” once she came back she very rudely handed everything back to me and proceeded to say “does EVERYTHING look FINE NOW” in a very condescending tone we said yes and she walked away very aggressively. I will NEVER come back or tell anyone to come here.

I was really looking forward to bringing my friends here, but unfortunately, we were all extremely disappointed. When we first walked in, the woman at the front desk was kind and accommodating, especially since we didn’t have a reservation, so we felt hopeful. Our waitress, Allison D, was incredibly rude and unhelpful. The chicken sandwiches we ordered were so dry that two of my friends couldn’t even finish theirs. We explained this to our waitress, and while she went to speak with the chef (who was actually quite polite), my friends told him they didn’t want another sandwich but didn’t feel they should pay for something they couldn’t eat. The chef agreed to remove the sandwiches from the tab, which seemed fair at the time. However, when the bills came, we noticed an issue. My friend's tab still included both sandwiches, listed at $0.00—but what was even more concerning was that a gratuity was charged on the full amount, which was for both sandwiches. This inflated her gratuity to $11.40 when it should’ve been closer to $5. When we pointed out the mistake, Allison was dismissive and rude, telling us she would take it to the manager. Unfortunately, the manager never came out to address the issue in person, and when Allison returned, she handed the adjusted bill back with an attitude, almost as though she didn’t want us to notice the mistake. It felt like we were being brushed off rather than genuinely listened to or taken seriously. Given the poor food quality, the rude service, and the mishandling of the billing, we won’t be returning. We definitely won’t be recommending this place to anyone. It’s a shame, because we were really hoping for a great experience.
