Sabines Filadelfia Reviews
The French toast is really good! Banana pudding is great for banana lover~ I’m surprised that they slightly seasoned the egg omelette cuz most places offer them plain… warm service and busy sundays! Call ahead and check wait time would be smart move
Stopped here after seeing some TikTok’s about the shrimp and grits and so happy I did. They estimated a 45 min wait but ended up only being 20 thankfully. Despite it being busy service was swift and the waitress was attentive and friendly. The shrimp and grits were literally the best thing I’ve tasted.
Coming in around 830am on a Saturday and got seated in a spacious booth right away. Food came out quick. The place was filling up as we were leaving, so we were lucky to get in right before the rush. Typically settling for a simple omelet or benedict for brunch, we decided to go bold and order Shrimp & Grits as well as Chicken & Waffles. We even spiced it up with a seasonal apple cider drink. Zero regrets! Our cider drink warmed our soul. My shrimp was amazing and so full of flavor, and was balanced out well by the creamy grits. Husband's chicken was nicely fried, and paired will with the nicely crisped waffles. Kiddo loved his pancake because, well, he likes pancakes, especially those with cute faces. Happy, full stomachs all around. Such a fantastic brunch place!
Im not a Philadelphia resident, im visiting from Southern California where Roscos Chicken and waffles are famous. Sabrina’s blew them out of the water! The sophisticated elevated taste of the sweet and the savory, including the beautiful detail touch of the crispy green on top of the waffle with the herb butter and the sweetness of the syrup with a hint of vanilla truly made this experience remarkable. I highly recommend you try the chicken and waffles at Sabrina‘s.
This place was soooo cute and the food was delicious. Went around noon and it was about a 45 min wait for a party of 2 but they do have outdoor heaters as you wait. The food came out in a timely manner and it was wonderful. The pancakes are HUGE and tasty. Highly recommend the blueberry lemonade as well. If you're in Philly check this place out.
WOW, the highlight of my trip to Philly!!!! We went for my birthday for breakfast and yes it was busy already an hour after opening so definitely try to get there as early as possible or be okay with the wait! I got the stuffed brioche French toast and it was FANTASTIC and the best thing I had!!! The service was great and all of our food came out so fast! Will definitely try to come again <3 <3 They also don't take reservations now (other reviews we saw said they did so not sure if that changed recently), but just to note!
A must-visit brunch spot in Philly! 🍳🥞 I ordered the fried chicken & waffles, scrambled eggs, and the waffle trio — and everything was incredible! The basil butter on the chicken & waffles was such a game-changer, the melted cheese made the eggs extra creamy, and those fluffy waffles were pure comfort in every bite. ❤️✨
Sabrina’s was definitely a Great place to have breakfast. The excellence came when we first walked in the door with a bright smile from the greeter whom seated us and then the server Andy(I believe his name was) came and he was very Proffessional and knowledgeable of the menu. He recommended the Chicken & waffles and it was definitely DELICIOUS 😋. The food came out in a timely fashion not a long wait at all and everything was fresh and hot. I would recommend if you haven’t been there get there and if you’ve been there head back there 😊. Best Breakfast on this side of town!
Hands down the best breakfast I had during my short stay in Philly, and the closest location to the Barnes Foundation which opens at the most inconvenient hour of 11:00 a.m. Sabrina was packed during my entire two hour stay, with diners of all ages, races and trades chowing down hearty portions and smiling with pleasure in between bites. The drink menu choices offer both sugar laden concoctions, and regular unsweetened coffees and teas, while the dood menu has artery clogging dishes and healthy options, so everyone gets to choose what they prefer. Our tall and lanky waiter and our tall slim server were both helpful and delightful conversationalists. This place was home away from home for me and some of the regulars include a beefy, SWAT team digging onto their plates with relish.
Sabrina's Cafe is the type of restaurant that everything on the menu is great. High food quality, great service, and a friendly staff makes for excellent combination. Stop by tell Joe hello for me and try the shrimp and grits I do not receive any kind of compensation or discounts for my reviews. I am just an average customer just like you. I believe in quality, value and cleanliness.
I went there with family and was shocked to see such great options. Menu had clear markers for vegetarian and vegan dishes. I loved this place and would visit every month from now on. Tried 3 dishes and all were delicious and well balanced flavors. They do offer ketchup and hot sauce as well but we didn't even need them. The pancakes had perfect sweetness and portion sizes are huge. The service was fast, and everyone was bright and we feel welcomed. Their fall drink menu is also very diverse and we ended up going for pumpkin spice latte. The best dish was our California omlette and the potatoes on side are crispy and seasoned well🥳
Came around a busy hour and we’re still seated immediately. Wait for food was average but when it came out we were thoroughly impressed. Stuffed brioche French toast was basically two servings for the amount you get and absolutely delicious (and gorgeous??). The egg sandwich could be two servings depending on how hungry you are, and the potato’s were the star of the show. Hope to come back next time I’m in Philly.
Absolutely adored this place! It’s on a quiet street but as soon as you open the door the atmosphere changes. People chatting, enjoying their food and music faintly in the background. I loved that you can see part of the kitchen from your table. The service was great and she helped us choose from their extensive menu. The food was delicious, everyone enjoyed their meal. This spot is also BYOB! I wish they had a location in NY!
Heard about this place from a few coworkers. Decided to try it out. What a good decision! Place was packed when I arrived! Wait wasn’t long, about 10 minutes. I had the Shrimp and Grits along with a side of Turkey Sausage. Both were good! The shrimp and grits were amazing! Prefect seasoning! And nice size shrimp! Sasha was my server. She was awesome! Always checking on me to make sure everything was fine! Also so pleasant! Definitely returning to try more on the menu! They don’t serve drinks, but I understand it’s a BYOB. They have coffee and juice and water though. Really enjoyable place!
Super cute cafe. That is filled with locals. The food is good and homemade. They have a creative menu that provides quality food. They portions sizes are huge so you definitely get what you pay for. I would say it is seasoned just right. Not over seasoned or under seasoned. So anyone with a dietary restriction in regards to too much salt will be fine here. Go check it out. The servers nice and the atmosphere is just right. Parking is a bit difficult though.
I recently visited this beautiful restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The ambiance is vibrant and artsy, with eye-catching art pieces and creative chalk art that give the space a unique, welcoming vibe. They offer a great variety of food and drinks, including thoughtful vegan and gluten-free options, which was a big plus. Despite how quickly the place fills up, the service is impressively efficient. We were seated almost immediately, and the food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. The portions were generous, and every dish we tried was packed with flavor. For two people, including drinks and food, the total came to just \$58 with tip—which felt like a great value for the quality and experience. I’ll definitely be coming back.
You will always have an amazing experience at Sabrinas They hire the right people to make your meal the best, to serve your meal with fun and professionalism, and to make you feel like family!

The coffee was exquisite, the hue is rancheros were DELICIOUS!! I am Mexican and I know about quality Mexican eggs! The ambiance is so cute and the staff super friendly!
Great brunch spot!! Had the California dream omelette which was fantastic (I could do with a lil less cilantro crema but I’m not a big sauce gurl), the potatoes just tasted like potatoes no big seasoning going on there pero some peeps love that! And the toast was thick sliced. The chicken and waffles were also great with the basil butter added an extra savory kick. The chai hot chocolate was also SO FREAKING GOOD!!
Three of us showed up at Sabrina's on Callowhill Street for our ten a.m. reservation. We had to wait about ten minutes for our table, but we were able to wait inside to escape the frigid temperature outside. The place has a busy breakfast vibe with someone, usually a server, in motion. Busy as it was, we were not rushed through breakfast, which was delivered to our table in a reasonable time. Our server was good, but perhaps had a few too many tables to deal with. However, the food was excellent. I had the Farmhouse Omelette which was delish and a healthy serving. I also had a side of cheesy grits, which were better than instant but not as good as slow cooked grits that you get down south. My wife had a spinach and feta omelet which was reported to be "yum". Pancakes were excellent as was the French Toast. We ended up bringing a few leftovers home (for the dog of course). All in all, an enjoyable breakfast.

I had high hopes for this place. I saw it was ranked high for brunch and was voted best in Philly. I think i went in expecting to be blown away and i was underwhelmed. Coffee was great, service was ok but food was disappointing. Average diner food at best. I’d try some other places first before returning. The chicken and waffle was not great and left my husband’s stomach upset.

Friendly staff, cute ambiance, diner vibes, food is very average and left me unwell. They do have great coffee though. I went in with high expectations and that is on me.
