Hudson Buffet Fishkill Reviews
My faveorite childhood chinese buffet is right here! I don't come here as often as I used to, but when I do It makes me so excited to be here! 1000/10 would visit again!
Very clean. Very busy, but the place is a well oiled machine! The food is always as good as can be expected in a buffet. This place stepped up with a sushi bar and a huge desert table. Pleasant staff make it easy to like the place.
My 6 years old love that place so much we have to take him at least once a week. He love their fries and chicken nuggets in general food is always fresh and hot. And is very kids friendly which is the most important to me having kids
Always very friendly staff, wide variety of food.Love the fried calamari. They are constantly refilling the food trays so always fresh and hot. The place is a bargain. No where else would you get the quality food they offer for the price
Tremendous amount of different seafood on weekends. Two types of crab, clams, mussels, various cooked shrimp.Worth looking into,if you're a seafood lover.
This is the best Chinese buffet in the area currently. There's a wide range of choices for adults and children. The food is consistently good. The greens are flavorful. The dessert choices are wide. Don't miss the peanut butter chicken.
This place does not lose its brightness just gotta look a bit harder. It is not overpriced, only reason people say it is for their rule of food wasting. They do not charge for the trips you make, but for the food you waste. It's an honorable and delightful way of stopping food wasting. Would recommend to a friend, 9.7/10 keeping it real with yall, peace.
I may be a bit biased, but I have been coming here for about 10 years and each and every time the food has always been pretty good. They have a great variety of food, my favorite is the coconut shrimp or coconut chicken and also the crab legs. The staff has always been pleasent, I can't recall a problem. Overall very consistent with execution and flavor and a very great family place!
The place is in an accessible location, has plenty of parking, and the staff is polite and quick to respond to any inquiries or needs. The food is kept replenished frequently and is fresh and warm (the dishes that are intended to be warm that is!) The prices especially for lunch are very reasonable and the drinks have free refills. The selection is pretty extensive and some things will be prepared for you by request. There are labels on everything. It is a clean and relatively quiet atmosphere.
I love the food in this place, but like most other restaurants like this, the staff seam to be very unfriendly, I feel like it's all about getting your money and getting you out for the next person. I don't understand why Asian people that run these restaurants have to be this way. I love the people and there culture, but being this way in a restaurant gives them a bad name. I will be revisiting this place again soon because the food is just to good to pass up.
This is an AMAZING place! The Hudson Buffet offers an enormous selection of Chinese comfort food - all you can eat for a really low price ($25 for 2). The ambiance is happy - people are really enjoying themselves. The food is surprisingly good; it’s not exquisite, but it’s above average, and certainly better than what is available in the other Chinese restaurants in the area. I didn’t expect to like it, and I was very pleasantly surprised. If I’m in the area again, I’ll definitely go back.
I have eaten here many of times and got take out as well the only thing I don't get is the price for take out there's different prices and if you have more then one type of food it cost more per pound other then that the food is really good and as for as the sushi they have many different kinds unlike most places only having 3 types of sushi
I've been eating here for about half a year or longer and as long as I'm in the area I will continue to. They have a wonderful selection of food to choose from my favorite being the honey shrimp and the peanut chicken witch is only served for lunch usually. They are a covid safe environment with the mandate of wearing a mask and gloves when at the buffet table grabbing food but not while you are eating. All in all a great place to come for all you can eat Chinese food
Went on Sunday Seaford $25 a head. Crabs, lobster, shrimp, pawns, class, mussels, good size buffet. Not just seafood. One of the better.get there early place gets packed. My 1st x since covid.
So much food! And lots of seafood options. Even a sushi bar and hibachi area. Really reasonable price. We'll be back. But be aware the atmosphere is kind of like a third world market or bazaar. Also, no crab legs when we went.
For the price, best spot for a Chinese buffet. Staff are very nice and bathrooms are okay. They gave me plastic gloves and came around frequently to each table to check for plates and if anybody needed anything. Plastic dividers between tables is pretty nice. Food is okay, like not the best in the world but not bad.
The food is freshly prepared and delicious, with clean food stations. Servers efficiently clear away dirty dishes and promptly offer drink refills. They are also very friendly. There's a good variety of food, and the fresh shellfish and ripe fruits stand out. Overall, it's the best Chinese buffet I've had in years.
Welcome to New York ✨️ 🙌 lol delivered a load to Mopar and bobtailed here.... parking was A1 ... some real good Chinese food. They had short ribs (a bit tougher than liked ) but flavor was good. Fried lobster 🦞... and a nice variety of other stuff... oh yea and the grill with sushi options. I definitely would come again
We enjoy the buffet, food is always yummy, service is very prompt and efficient, there is some wear and tear in the environment but the servers do a good job keeping everything tidy. We appreciate that they are open late, and the variety they have
I’m choosing to update this review After doing some research on buffet dining, I realized my previous complaint needed to be removed due to my poor understanding of the buffet’s rules. I had no idea at first that taking home food from a buffet is subject to double charge. So I do want to apologize for my complaint. I’ve been eating at Hudson valley buffet for over a decade. The food is always delicious and fresh to my liking. The staff are great and hard working. I love their yellow rice and everything else they serve. Once again, I apologize for misunderstanding the rules regarding to buffet dining.
The food tasted great. Very good price specially for the quality. Love it!
Really good Mac and cheese friendly staff definitely will try again
Automatic 4.5 star for being open on Merry Christmas Day😮😲. The buffet price is unbeatable. Very affordable 🤩 Food is well prepared, with good variety, surf and turf, etc and lots of desserts 2. you can also do take out by lb and price is very reasonable, linear correlated to the percentage of seafood in the take out box. Very pleasantly grab the crabs and roast duck 😄 if a place gets complaints for being “crowded” that means they are doing something right 😉
Solid Chinese buffet with good selection of seafoods 👍. Tasty cooking. On the crowded side on this Sunday night. Busy = high turnover = better food 🤩. However, while the food is tasty, the place is a bit dark and old. Might need more staff power, thanks 😅. Take out for me only, quick and "dirty" 😎 that makes u stronger 💪
Hudson Buffet serves delicious Chinese American food that is kept warm and comes out fresh. The service is impeccable and attentive. Tables and the inside are a little rough, but it does not take away from the experience. Would highly recommend sitting in for a great buffet experience or take out buffet too, prices are reasonable.
Excellent. The best chinese food in Hudson Valley. I cant find a take out restuarant that even tastes this good. I was severly impressed. Great selections. Small yet intimate dining areas and attentive staff. The food is actually seasoned especially the lobster and crab. I just wish the shellfish were easier to crack to get the delicious meat. Yet again I am speechless at how flawless the food tasted. Coming from the city I know good Chinese food and I am very impressed. Please dont ever change.
I've always been very satisfied every time I come here and I've been coming for years. This is my first time back since Covid and they just have you wear a mask and gloves when you go up and grab your food. And the food is still wonderfully delicious. I always get the sushi every time I come here and it always tastes good, and I've never gotten sick. One of my favorite things here is when I grab my dessert, I fill half of my plate up with Lychees. I can't believe they offer them here, I haven't found them anywhere else. Also we went for lunch and the current price was $9.95
Very tasty food , nice selection of again dishes and a decent amount of seafood selections as well. I go to this establishment several times a mo th. They are fairly priced too.
My ladies group had a very nice luncheon there. They have a large assortment of food and deserts. The food was fresh and hot. Truly a nice meal
Update: major improvement since my review 3 years ago. Food quality and choices are good. Prices reasonable. 2019: Been coming for years, across different ownership. Current food not great, Limited choices and skimping on quality.
Surprisingly delicious. While it’s not the prettiest buffer out there, Hudson Buffet has really good food. Their offerings aren’t as plentiful as other buffets but their food was fresh and tasty.
Food selection is massive. Everything was fresh and hot and delicious. Staff was attentive. The floors were slick is why it wasn't given 5 stars, I understand it is hard to keep the floor from getting slippery with all the steam. But it is dangerous for someone with mobility issues, as my husband uses a walker.
We went there for lunch at about 1145, and it was much better than our last visit. The fried calamari was very tender and hot, a little salty though. Their chicken wings are always good and the fried fish was delicious. Over all the food was hot and fresh and I was glad that we gave them a second chance.
I took the family out for dinner and we were quite pleased with the variation of food choices that were present. The honey chicken and short ribs were exquisitely delicious! The chicken teriyaki, pepper steak, and hibachi chicken were also family favorites! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants very scrumptious Chinese food.
The food over all is great. Hot plates are delish. The shrimps are very often if not always over boiled. The Jello can be hard & the sushi has a lot (to much) rice. But we'll worth a stop. Its yum, enjoy
Food was great, but I have to share an amusing experience. Both restrooms has signs on the outside door requesting that patrons wash their hands with soap before returning to the buffet. I thought that was a really great idea. So, when I am done in the bathroom and go to wash my hands, I discover there is no soap in the bathroom! LOL
Went around 530 on a Saturday and the food was hot with a great selection including sushi. And noodles cooked to order. I loved the gingered lobster, the shrimp and great pepper steak.
Been here a few times for their buffet and always enjoyed it. At $12.49 per person for lunch on a weekday that is reasonable for the variety of dishes to choose from. Favorite are the baby clams, fried calamari, and coconut shrimp dishes. Usually my wife and I have two dishes of food, a bowl of soup, and then finish off with desserts. Honestly, where else can you get a full meal for $12.49 per person? On the negative side I will say that the inside is getting old and can use a refresh. However, the staff seem friendly enough and the older furnishing doesn't bother me.
Was a little skeptical walking in, but it turned out to be worth the wait. The food was hot and tasted fresh and delicious. If you like crab and shrimp, then this buffet is for you. Will definitely be going again next time we are in the area.
Decent food, fresh for the most part. Always look forward to visiting here
I’m here to tell you I’ve been coming here for years and the quality has gotten better. The options look great for dinner. Great lunch pricing!
The food is the same as it’s been for 20 years; sometimes cold and stale, but for the most part tasty. The sad part is the two best parts of the Hudson buffet has changed. Originally it was open everyday of the week and they stopped selling crab legs. I will continue to go there, I just won’t be going as often. Y’all need to try harder like you used to.
We go about once a month Sundays ,the food is not tasty. The food was watery and salty. The rest of the week it is good! They are really busy on Sundays. I think it is the problem.
Great food and service. Suggestion: SEPARATE THE SEAFOOD AND FISH FROM THE OTHER DISHES !!! I am allergic to all types of Seafood, Shellfish, Salmon etc. I enjoy your buffet but, find it hard to eat most of the foods because they are placed next to clams, lobster, oysters. I get very sick 🤢
Cheap solid food and a good variety. I would recommend lunch! Also pay cash and avoid the taxes
An overall good buffet when your are in the mood. But some of the food is really hit or miss depending on how long it’s been out for but if you are there around dinner time you shouldn’t have to much to complain abt the service is good stays on top of drink orders and priced reasonably.
The food was ok. Some items were better than others. I prefer Flaming Grill and buffet in Newburgh. A few items needed some more seasonings to add flavor because some items were boring in taste. Up the ante and more flavor to your selections.
The buffet spot had parking, a plus, was fairly crowded. There was much food variety to choose from. I enjoyed the shrimp, veggies, french fries and vanilla ice-cream. The bathroom and hospitality could use some improvement. I may give it another shot may be during the week when the crowd is probably less, to see if that makes a difference.
My boyfriend and I came here for lunch. We ate the food here and it was pretty good until we got salads and there was a bug in his salad on the lettuce. Then, when we went to checkout and pay for the food, the price was expensive ($50). The food that we did enjoy and liked were the pepper chicken and steak, and the crab meat.
A wide variety of items however, they drive you out as soon as closing time approaches
Buffet has great selection compared to other buffets in the area. The food is fresh and delicious. On the other hand, the waitresses could use a lesson in manners. We were still having our desserts, she suddenly comes over and asks if we are still drinking our sodas as she wanted to take away, and gives the check we didn't ask. Also, piece of advise to the waitress, do not clean up the floor when people are eating, dusts gets scattered in the air and gets into food.
For $25/PP you get crab legs & lobster! However, it isn't what it sounds like lol. We went at a busy time and it was definitely crowded, so maybe it's just my husband & I that weren't impressed. They offer a good selection of food, but the crab legs looked like they were sitting all day & we could not even crack them open. They don't have the crackers, big joke lol. The lobster...what in the world. I don't even know what part of the lobster it is that they have on the buffet. It isn't the tail for sure. The sushi was good, but other than that it's just an average buffet. I don't think they have a/c because they have typical desk fans mounted on the walls instead. Atmosphere is what you would expect it to be..you'd understand once you pulled up to the place. Will not be back, because there are other options just as good & a lot cleaner closer to us.
The food was good. Workers, of course, are pushy and overbearing. Bill was 201.11. That INCLUDED the gratuity that THEY put on. I left $200 (2 $100 dollar bills) lordt the Sqwaking that came from them in their language while looking for the 1.11.
Crab legs tasteless. Food wasn't good. Deserts very good. 22.99 per person not good.
Buffet was great!! Only problem was my wife just wanted chicken wings they had a problem with that but they did bring them finally. Then I noticed they cooked the wings the chicken with feathers still on it and the manager spoke English to me just fine until she wanted to speak in her tongue and they didn't want to refund my money for the wings. My wife didn't even bite a wing and the women was going crazy but other than her being rude the other people were very nice just watch the chicken wings for feathers.
The waitress was ok. The food was gross. You can taste that over fried oil. My husband has a sensitive stomach and he spent the entire night in the bathroom. I ended with with a terrble acid. It never happens to us when we go to the normal restaurants
Update 12/15/25: The quality of the food has really gone downhill. Om our last visit, the food was cold and not as fresh as it used to be. I can't recommend this restaurant anymore. The food is tasty, usually fresh, and never have to wait to be seated.
Limited selection, definitely overpriced. For 2 adults each with a soda was $50, tip was extra. Food was fresh, but mostly bland and flavorless. The best item I had was a steamed green bean with a delightful garlic sauce. Definitely will not be coming back.
The wait staff are rude and they're always rushing you out. I find this aggravating since my daughter has Autism and takes awhile to eat. We used to love this place, but they've gone from bad to worse everytime we go. The food quality has definitely gone down over the years. Stay away from the calamari- my husband has gotten sick from it a few times. We live in Beacon and when in the mood for a buffet we now go to King Buffet in Cortland which I highly recommend! The food is always fresh and amazing.
The food was old and lukewarm, the food was just subpar... you could tell it wasn't fresh or cooked properly. The noodles were soft and mushy and half the food looked lile it was sitting for way to long. Our server was very attentive and pleasant. I felt bad that the poor girl had to wait 13 tables herself. It was disappointing that the main attraction "crab" was empty the entire time. I asked it be be refilled and it wasn't for the entire 1 hour fist... disappointing!
I have to say that I really wish this place would have improved after COVID but sadly it hasn’t. It’s over priced! Extremely overpriced! $ 57.97 for two with soda!!! I choose to treat a friend out and what I paid for the two of us, I could have gone to Texas Roadhouse or somewhere else. It was my choice but I wish I just had order Chinese food from my local area for half the price. Again I made a choice and won’t be making that choice again. The food is always the same. The service? Nice people. Overall save your money! Or go to a quality restaurant.
Where can I start. Shorty and I got a nearby spot, was scoping around for places to eat and rolled up on here. Looked promising. Came back for dinner. We were seated right away. Place was packed but tables spread apart comfortably to make it easier to get around. Place is very clean to consider the size and the activity. ....................wait ..just got the check without asking .... I was taking a break to write the review . Ok.. now I'm gonna tell you what's really up with service. They kinda loud.. waking around... yelling to rachithet over your head. Any way. Food really good. I'm gonna finish now Final statement Could be worse Update.. came back to lower a star. The bathroom is dirty. And..they keep on yelling...and... I have to stare at the check on my table I didn't ask for.
This place has gone down hill. Hadn't eaten there in over a year because it was just become a dirty place and the food was greasy. Decided to try it again last night. Food was horrible. All the chicken dishes tasted the same, the crab legs had absolutely no taste at all, as if they were in boiling dishwater for hours on end. The floors were dirty, they had to give us all silverware replacements because they were dirty and the bathrooms were like walking into a wet high school locker room. Disgusting. Wife and I spent the night making several trips to the bathroom because we just felt ill after our meals. Will never go back .
If I could give a -0 I would. These are the rudest waitresses ever...I complained to owner once about same waitress, but today I am complaining for the disabled who can't speak up for themselves...a complaint was made by their caregiver about the same waitresses and nothing done, also two of them continued to giggle and act as if their behavior is funny, throwing a disgusting dish rag over the heads of customers is uncalled for...I should report them to the board of health for all of the stains on the ceiling I am sure there is mold everywhere! It makes me so sad to realize that we are in the year of 2024 and people still treat people with disabilities soooo cruelly...others noticed besides me and they also reported it to owner....needless to say I won't be back and will tell everyone I can not to eat there!! Disgraceful!!!
Way over priced $20.99 per person
This place is pretty bad. I ordered a Coke, and what I received wasn’t even Coke or Pepsi. Tasted like dish soap! No crab legs or anything that would substantiate the price to sit and dine there. The food was dry and the oil used to fry stuff was old. The atmosphere was dated and drab as well. The servers at least were nice. The food is a big fat ZERO and will never come back. In the end, I filled myself up with the vanilla custard that probably came out of a container!
Absolutely terrible! I wish I could give it ZERO stars. We just got home from one of the worst dinners we have ever had while eating out. The Lobster was mostly all shell, the Duck was mostly all bone, the Stuffed Shrimp was mostly all breading. The food had hardly any flavor or really bad flavor and most dishes were cold. It was actually pretty gross. The wife was so grossed out that I paid and we just left. We will never go back again. Live and learn...
This place is to small and crowed, way to overpriced considering there are barely any options. There’s fly were the food were and around the place they were yelling at a young worker for some odd reason Food was horrible not good and uncooked also watery The bathroom was so disgusting looks like it’s been cleaned once
I used to come here all the time with my family but this place is no longer the place it used to be. The entire quality of this buffet has gone down over the last 10 years. The food is cold 90% of the time or it looks like it's been there for a while. The seafood doesn't taste fresh like it used to either. The sushi quality has gone down too; my sister found plastic in her piece of California roll a few weeks ago when we were there. Lastly, the staff are extremely rude people. They stare at you, ignore you, shout incoherent things at you as they keep walking when you try to ask them a simple question (like: do you have any shell crackers for the crab?) instead of helping. Really disappointing, coming here has always been a fun way to spend time with the family and eat great food. Seems like we'll have to go to Newburgh from now on. Update: In Dec 2021, My sister insisted we come back here, so as a group of four to include my mother and fiance, we went. My fiance found a caterpillar in her food! A caterpillar!! And when we brought this to their attention, the woman said, "they eat vegetables. It's their food". I couldn't believe it. Yes, caterpillars eat veggies and other greens...so of course it's not a surprise it was on or around vegetables. However, does this mean you're not washing or checking your produce before you cook it?! What's up with that? I wish I took a photo of the plastic in the sushi too. I think it's time for new owners or a new a buffet in its place.
No just no. If you want a blast from the past the place looks like it's from the 80's and hasn't changed ever since. Not even the food has changed. It is gross and the food is vile. Do not eat here. Do not think about eating here. You will feel sick. You will feel ripped off. Two people is $43 plus whatever you want to tip. Do not tip the staff are not nice. They will steal your plate even if you're not done. They all have air pods in and can't hear you. Run run run
For the price u pay the servers and food should be good. The food was stone cold and when u explained it to them they all want to yell and scream at u.They should fix the food situation and their attitudes when you explain things respectful manner.
They rushed to have me sit, even when I told them I was waiting for my husband, Not much variety, food trays almost empty, Some of the food was not hot, I wanted wanton soup I asked if they could bring out more they never did, They gave us bill,no fortune cookie, When my husband and u got up the waitress ran to the registerd to make sue she let the cashier know we where done, then the waitress says something in her language and the cashiers responds to her and looked right at us, Very bizarre!!! Will never eat there again!!!!
Went out with my family last night, Had myself 2 plates of food including the Sushi. The food was very underwhelming it’s self, and then I Ended up with the worst food poisoning of my life that has been extremely violent for HOURS. Safe to say I will not be eating here again.
We have eaten here on several occasions and the food is NEVER hot. If you lucky enough to get something when it first comes out, that stuff is hot but once it sits there it's warm at best. I want to see steam coming out from under those trays or I won't eat it. Too many of my friends have gotten sick eating there so we no longer go.
I've never been to a buffet where they charge you separately for beverages, until I came to this buffet. Not only did they over charge us but half the food that was out was either for dinner (which means they charge more for it) or it looked as though it had been sitting on the warmers for a while. Minimalistic dessert options. Will not return. Save your money, go anywhere else! With surprising you with charges that you wouldn't expect, to a dirty ran-down appearance. What a waste of money! I'll be reporting the charges to my card company.
I went on a date with my boyfriend here, it used to be our favorite. We recently went there for dinner, we had 2 plates of food everything was good until our 3rd plate where I had gotten a piece of salmon. When I reached the table about to start eating I not how cold the salmon was. I’m not a complainer I don’t like to tell restaurants when there’s a issue yk like wtv I can always try and different peice to see if that was warm. I had noticed after eating (leaving the salmon untouched) that there will be a charge for food you don’t eat. When the waiter came to take our plates I whispered to her that I was sorry I didn’t eat the salmon because it was cold. After that she flipped out telling me “how dare I” tell her the food was cold. She ran off to get another worker and they both came at me telling me I should have ate it faster or it was never cold to begin with. They said “ you just go eat eat eat “ and started fake eating saying “ go num num num” they made a huge scene just by me whispering the food was cold…after that they were completely rude watching us and and when they gave us a refill our drinks were half full and she threw the check on our table. We definitely didint tip and honestly we should have just walked out. These people need to be trained on how customer service is supposed to be.
--Disappointing Experience at Hudson Buffet in Fishkill, NY-- I recently visited Hudson Buffet in Fishkill, New York, and I am compelled to share the unpleasant experience that left me feeling utterly disappointed. To start, the food was subpar at best. Despite the wide array of dishes presented, everything seemed to lack freshness and quality, which is unacceptable for any dining establishment, let alone a buffet. The service was another major letdown. Our waitress displayed an unwelcoming attitude from the moment we walked in. She was unresponsive, indifferent, and came across as rude during our brief interactions. This level of customer service was far below what one would expect. Moreover, the condition of the facility was deplorable. The buffet area and dining space appeared run-down and poorly maintained, with a noticeable lack of cleanliness that made our dining experience even less appealing. Based on this experience, I would strongly advise against visiting Hudson Buffet. There are far better options available where you can enjoy a pleasant dining experience. Hudson Buffet, unfortunately, misses the mark on all accounts. We will never go back there!
It's clear nobody who works here cares about this place and of it stays in business. disgusting atmosphere. Filthy seating with cracked old material that you couldn't possibly get all of the bacteria out of and tables have caked gunk on. The workers are rude and don't not wear gloves when handling food. Sushi bar had workers eating behind it.
The servers there are rude and extremely lack quality of service. Also they tipped themselves and I had no knowledge of it until i already got home. I opted out on the tipping due to poor quality of service. Try to avoid this place as much as possible!
I came in after a long day of being busy and was starving, got sat down finished my plate and when the waiter took it she dropped what was left on the plate on me. She started laughing which was not funny she did say sorry, but didn't feel genuine and just kept laughing afterwards too.
I recently visited Hudson Buffet in Fishkill, New York, and to say I was disappointed would be a severe understatement. From the moment we entered, the experience was anything but pleasant. The food was downright subpar—barely warm, lacking flavor, and far from fresh. I felt like I was eating leftovers that had been sitting out for hours. The service was equally bad, if not worse. The waitress was rude, barely attentive, and seemed completely disinterested in providing even a basic level of customer service. It felt like any request or question was a major inconvenience to her. The restaurant itself was rundown, with outdated decor and a noticeable lack of cleanliness throughout. Tables weren’t properly cleaned, and the whole place gave off an unsanitary vibe. To add insult to injury, we were shocked by the bill: $48.40 for two people to eat at a below-average buffet with questionable food quality and freshness is outrageous. I left feeling like I had paid an arm and a leg for a meal I wouldn’t wish on anyone. If you're considering dining here, don’t. Save yourself the money and disappointment. I would never recommend Hudson Buffet to anyone—it’s just not worth it!!
I used to frequent this restaurant years ago and I loved it. Hadn’t eaten there in years. I don’t know what happened to this buffet, but the place was a complete disaster, the owners are clearly NOT taking care of this restaurant. When I got home I had UNCONTROLLABLE diarrhea and vomiting!!! I have been sick for a whole day now, which is clearly FOOD POISONING. The Health Department needs to take notice of this place-they SHOULD NOT be operating with the condition of this restaurant!!!
I ordered shrimp lo mein from this Chinese buffet and found a metal wire in the dish, which looked like a piece from a metal dishwashing scrub pad. I found it on the very first spoonful and couldn’t continue eating after that — it made me feel nauseous. This is unpleasant and potentially dangerous; objects like this should never be in food. I will not be coming back and hope management takes food safety and cleanliness seriously.
I’ve been going here for a while. I won’t be going anymore. I went there yesterday at 2 o’clock. There was no sushi available. I told a guy can you make some sushi? He told me 3 o’clock that is ridiculous. Every time I go here they have no sushi very limited I don’t know what’s going on lately, but I will not be visiting this buffet anymore.
This place is HORRIBLE!! Me and my husband went here and they sat us down right away. Once we got to the food area, there was only three rows of food and a HUGE variety of desserts. We got a small plate of food, and it wasn’t good!! I’d like to add this place is incredibly dirty. We leave and they charge us 53 dollars for only TWO plates. It’s absolutely insane, they had given us a 5 dollar reduction which is appreciated but we will NOT be returning.
I would like to share my impressions of this place! Terrible place, dirt and unsanitary conditions everywhere, food is not intended for humans! It doesn't matter what's cheap there, elementary norms must be observed if the check is even $5! There's dirt all around, on the ceiling, on the walls, everywhere near the food there is garbage and dirty rags lying around! This place should be urgently closed, if this does not happen, I will have to involve my lawyer and file a multimillion-dollar lawsuit against them in connection with gross violations of the state sanitary norms, as my hike ended with a digestive problem!
This was a very bad experience coming to this place, I really thought there would be better service. I came with my children and they barely ate anything, they didn't have much variety and the most absurd thing was that they charged me 1.37 plus the tip which was 17 dollars. It's supposed to be a buffet, one has to serve oneself. I don't understand their tip. This is really crap, I don't recommend it.
On 10/28/24 at 11am I went to the buffet in fish kill to get take out. Once I got home I decided to eat my takeout for lunch before work. I noticed a something suspicious in my food that looks like a insect. I instantly called the Chinese buffet to explain to them about the this thing in my food that looks like a insect, they asked me to send pictures which I did. After that, I haven't heard nothing more from them. So I decided to bring the food back to show them before work. The lady at the buffet told me it's mushroom. I never seen a mushroom that looks like that! . It was literally in the bokchoy containers and there wasn't any mushroom in the bokchoy vegetable containers when I was getting my food. They refused to give us back refund. While getting your good I notice there's flies flying around the food and dessert. This was my favorite buffet but they gave me a wake up call yesterday to never eat chinese food ever again!
