My sister, auntie and I have been to this place. The three of us ordered the lunch special, which was beef with broccoli, fried tilapia, and bean sprouts. The service was wonderful, and the food was wonderful. The atmosphere was that the waiter was showing a king crab for people to take pictures, and many others.

Don't understand the low rating from others. Been here many times and seafood and peking duck is always excellent. Steamed fish with ginger and scallion, lobster and shrimp dishes are all very good. Freshest vegetables. Can eat like a king here. Could be a bit of language barrier at times but just point to the menu items which are in english and chinese.

Disclaimer: we were a large party (3 tables) with advanced reservations and a pre-planned menu, so this is me just enjoying a bounty of dishes prepared for us. As the restaurant name implies, many dishes utilized the king crab and were seafood based. We were able to order vegetarian fried rice and Singapore noodles a la carte for our non-fish eating friends. If you’ve been to these ‘banquet style’ dinners you know the lazy susan fills up fast and you do your best to keep up eating, then fight over who’s taking what leftovers home 😆 Servers were attentive and did their best to manage the tabletop space and pile of platters.

How does this place not have five stars from everyone? This was one of the best restaurants that I’ve been to in the entire city. The King Crab is soft, buttery, and so flavorful. This was the best King Crab that I’ve had in my life. Their other dishes, like their lamb stew, were also delicious. We had the King Crab three ways—fried, with garlic, and with sticky rice. Highly recommend!

The food is good, and the service is good, and the price is expensive. But all is good food and services. I recommend this King Crab House to all my family, friends, and whoever wants to try it. We spent a total of $176.11, and I included the menu and location of this King Crab House.

Good venue for fresh live fish & seafood. Serving up Cantonese style cuisine. BYOB is an option. Be sure to tip extra $5-10 on top of normal gratuity. 👍👍 Really enjoyed the steamed giant scallop & steamed fish. The beef steak cubes were also fantastic. Nice ambiance with an Asian flair. Not noisy and spacious tables with plenty of arm room. Private rooms available for a premium charge, $600 plus… Been here several times and do recommend 😊😊.

Food is good & reasonable priced, generous portion and fair prices. Service is okay but can be better, under-staffed & very busy at lunch time. The complimentary house soup of the day is excellent in complimenting the meal.

This is my go-to place to grab some fresh delicious seafood in Flushing. The prices are reasonable, the place is always clean and the staff is friendly, attentive, and courteous. This restaurant has a few private rooms to accommodate large groups. Some of my favorite dishes are geoduck. Half is stir fry and the other half is served over ice sashimi style. another dish I love is lobster with ginger and scallion. This plate has the right amount of ginger the fresh lobster tastes tender. Moreover, I also love the fresh shrimp in soy sauce. Live fresh shrimp taste so much different in a better way than frozen shrimp. I also like beef with black bean sauce. However, I have to order this dish with the sauce on the side because of my baby ( see picture of the beef without the sauce and the sauce). finally, I love the live fresh king crab. It's a must-try. They serve it to you in two ways. half one style and the other half another style. after eating fresh king crab you will never want to eat frozen crab again in your life. Considering what you would pay per pound for frozen king crab at Costco, this restaurant's price per pound for live king crab is beyond reasonable. They do not have parking but the restaurant is next to a parking garage that only charges about $5 p/hour.

Food was surprisingly good and decently priced at $12.99 any entree, which most came with a complimentary bowl of their abalone soup. The best dish we tried today was the lightly breaded fried silver fish, which must've been a special, since I don't see it on the menu. Sooo tasty. This was addictive. I could eat the whole dish and then some. Other dishes we ordered, Preserved Vegetable w/Pork Belly 3/5 >> pork was super lean and tough to chew, maybe I just prefer my pork belly with a little more fat; not much preserved vegetable (梅菜); flavor profile was there Peking Pork Chop 4/5 Grouper Filet w/Tofu Casserole 4/5 Beef Stew w/Tofu Skin Casserole 4/5 Lobster w/Ginger and Scallions 5/5 🧡 Bonus, an emperor's chair for photo ops! Would definitely go back again!

We love coming here with large groups portions are very generous. Live seafood is great here. They can cook king crab many different ways, our favorites are cooked with salted duck egg, steamed, fried rice, and just steamed egg. Steamed fish is another one of our favorites. The crispy chicken , salt and pepper pork chops are also tasty dishes if people are not seafood people.

Eating in the Kings dominion in Downtown Flushing. Heard about this place through a family member so we decided to try it. Had a few traditional dishes and focused mainly on seafood. The deco was very golden, but some of the silverware was showing their age with chips at the corners. Don't forget to get a photo op on the throne before leaving.

Highlight: Service was very friendly. They were patient and helped us with everything, very quick and changed plates often. The food was good. The seafood was incredible, big dishes and great taste. The “turf” stuff not so good, if you order the steak*, it’s really made of the cheapest beef, or at least tastes like it. Not a quality ingredient. Also a lot of their seafood in the tanks were dying or dead, making it seem NOT fresh at all. Yikes. Some fish were definitely upside down. Very cool throne you can sit at the front. Restaurant is medium size and not too large. Nice settings and looks very fancy!

Pros - Amazing food! I would go as far to say it was the best authentic food I’ve ever tasted - Waitress was nice Cons - Didn’t feel welcomed there. As soon as we arrived the hosts didn’t even smile and refused to sit me and my guest at another table when requested. Despite this we stayed to eat. - We asked for wine and the host said they do not sell alcohol but when another family of the same racial and ethnic group as the host walked in they were greeted with big smiles and given a choice of several wine options. Interesting… - Me and my guest ordered the most expensive item on the menu. We ordered the whole king crab, shrimp fried rice, and bok Choy. We also wanted a lobster and the waiter talked us out of it. My concern is why are you telling us no when we are saying this is what we want? Is it because of how me and my guest look? Did she think we were getting out of our budget? These people do not realize that I could have been a millionaire or billionaire. No one should ever “assume” what someone can and cannot afford. Would hate to have to buy that restaurant. You never know! So we didn’t get the lobster 🦞 unfortunately because we wanted that too. - When they brought out our food it was placed in a way that nothing could be reached without us getting up. Interestingly enough when a family of the same racial and ethnic background received their food they gave them a table food spinner so they did not have to reach over and get up to get their food. We spent over $500 and that is the treatment we got. I would never ever again step a foot in a restaurant that wants my money but treats me so poorly. It was obvious they did not want us there. Well although their food was the best because they do not know how to treat paying customers of diverse backgrounds who are not from where they come from with any level of kindness I will not return. If you want great food I highly recommend this place but if you want to be treated nice and feel welcomed go somewhere else.

Decent Chinese restaurant in Flushing. We came here on a Saturday for lunch and got an array of lunch specials to share family style. Each dish costs $12.99 and comes with soup and rice. Not a bad deal for the cost and variety if you come with a group. I enjoyed the salt and pepper pork chops, black bean clams and the Szechuan style shrimp. The other dishes were decent but some were lacking in flavor. The service was decent, no complaints. The restaurant was nice and clean.

I went to King Crab House for a large group lunch to celebrate a birthday. I thought that the food at King Crab House was OK. Nothing I ate at the restaurant particularly struck me as being amazing. The crab and lobster were pretty good but again nothing where I felt was really delicious.

Tried out this restaurant because of their $9.99 lunch menu which included stir fried lobster. The lobster was well cooked and fresh. The fried fish in the casserole were hard and portion size was smaller than usual. The pork belly melted in my mouth and it wasn't too salty. The fried pork chops were well fried though some pieces were just all fat. The restaurant has really nice decor and everything was gold. The service was polite if lackadaisical, they forgot to serve us the included soup. I would go back and try more of the seafood dishes from the lunch menu which are a good deal.

The entire experience is getting worse and worse every time I visit. Spare ribs are mostly fatty, string beans unpicked, rice looked and tasted like overnight leftover, soup bowl cracked. The food came out cold. Won’t come back any more.

First time dining in here, service is excellent, food is delicious, the dish is big enough, you can experience the expertise of the Chinese cuisine from the cook. The price is fair for the current market. Bathroom is very clean. But Overpriced on a small quart of rice: $2.75.
