Sushi Village Flushing Reviews
You love sushi, go there for an unlimited buffet of appetizers and all kinds of sushi delicacies. Can't beat the price for all you can eat.
The customer service is excellent. The food is delicious. The food quality is consistent. Clean. Nice atmosphere. There is always parking.
I love everything about this place. Everything tastes so fresh. The atmosphere is super cozy. All you can eat!!! For an affordable price. So go ready with an empty stomach cause everything is delicious. Definitely, I will go back!!!
Our favorite ayce sushi spot. Big portions of fish to rice ratio. Always super fresh. Sometimes it can be slow but when it's a full house and everyone is ordering rolls on top of rolls, you can't expect it to be fast food.
Wonderful staff, Good food, Good price for all you can eat.
Excellent service and excellent food. Staff is friendly and attentive. The food is fresh and the place is clean. Highly recommended 👍👍👍👍👍
Great sushi place! I've been to the other location in Long Island. This one is in the flushing area and has great parking as well. The staff are super friendly and I didn't have any problems with my order. I love the sashimi here! I just wish the tables were spaced out more or they had barriers
Food is always great i’ve never had a complaint gone there 10 times already
They treat us so personally and remember our preferences and orders. The waiters and waitresses are all so friendly and good to us. The food is great. I love that they have parking. My wife and I come here at least once a week. Highly recommend!
Sushi here is pretty fresh, and it's definitely worth the price for AYCE (all-you-can-eat)! You might not get everything you ordered on your sushi platter, but not worth complaining because it is an AYCE & you can always order more. They'll always place your rolls first, then your nigiris/sushi pieces & sashimi after. If you order 20 salmon sushi pieces, don't expect to actually receive 20 - you'll probably get 10 max if you ordered a large variety of other things too.
Excellent food, friendly and helpful staff (explains questions professionally). Beautiful and worthwhile experience.
Hands down the best all you can eat sushi spot. Me and my wife like to go around and find different spots, but this spot has stood as our top spot forever at this point. The sashimi is some of the most fresh we’ve had, the appetizers are all great, and the sushi portions are perfect. The staff is always friendly and the service is great.
What a great place! If I could get food from New Sushi Village every day, I would!
I absolutely LOVE this place! I've been here a few years ago and it's just as good as the first time. I recommend the Maki section because it brings enough to fill 1 person. I also highly recommend the takoyaki appetizer and for dessert fried Oreos 🙌 The waitress was so kind and introduced us to many new items as well! Will be returning soon! ❤️ Thank you
Overall, I found the service to be excellent. The food presentation could be a bit more refined, even though it’s AYCE.”
Been going here for years! I have experience all their changes and one thing has always stand out…their service! The staff is so kind. They were so accommodating with my requests for my kiddo. Love The different rolls they have ! Appetizer on point ! Vanilla ice cream and fried Oreos !!omg 🤤 Best sushi buffet in Queens 🙌🏽 $$= good Quality food !
Always a great place to visit day or night! All you can eat and still fresh sushi and amazing roll options! Recommend to try a little bit of everything when you visit! Service is always outstanding. Few options but the fast service and outstanding food make up for it. Great for a date, dinner with friends or family. Seating is best for smaller groups unless you call ahead.
Sushi buffet for $40+/person (after tax tip). The sushi taste pretty good, does not taste frozen. Sashimi is unlimited which is great. The rolls are really packing with fish. Parking lot on site is available but limited. The few times I came, I was able to find parking nearby. 90 min limit for food. Good for groups.
Amazing food!! My family and I are usually very used to New York since we live in New Jersey and go so often but today we decided to come here for the first time and loved it! The food was super fresh and tasted amazing! The staff were so friendly! Not to mention the place looked amazing compared to some other Sushi Villages I’ve been to. Had an amazing time and would 100% recommend! Worth the money!!!
this place honestly blew me away. we were waiting outside for a bit and one of us was cold, and the lady who works there literally came out and handed us a jacket. like… that level of kindness is rare. it wasn’t just good service—it felt genuine. inside, the vibe is super laid-back, cozy, and welcoming. the staff were all really friendly, like they actually enjoy being there and care that you’re having a good time. every dish we had was a hit—clean flavors, balanced textures, and you can tell they take pride in what they make. it’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back, not just for the food but for the whole energy. can’t recommend it enough. easily a 5-star experience.
It was the best; the staff were patient, the atmosphere was chill, my party and I loved it. The food was insanely good. It definitely matched the price. Will come back again
My 1st time eating in and has a great experience. The setup is great. They allow you to pick what you want to eat for a fixed piece and pretty much unlimited but you have to clean your plate to avoid a "wasting food" surcharge. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and fresh. The staff was very attentive.
For the current price point, New Sushi Village offers one of the best all you can eat sushi restaurants in Queens, NY. The price has increased since the pandemic but it is good for the food it provides. They offer a variety of sushi, sashimi, and cooked options. Most of the time they are fresh and good tasting. The servers are very nice and they always pour tea or water for the customers. I would definitely recommend those who want their quick buffet sushi fix to come here. They have a parking lot but it gets busy on the weekends. They also provide non-buffet price options, but I always opt to go for the unlimited sushi and sashimi. In addition, they provide red bean/vanilla/green tea ice cream, oranges, and the Oreo tempuras which is a treat to go with the ice cream. This place is a great bang for your buck. Pictures are of the many visits I have had to Sushi Village.
I dont know where to start, I absolutely love this place, Ive been coming for years and come about once a week. Its all you can eat without sacrifice quality, the sushi here is consistently delicious and fresh. I always get kani salad (the best ive ever tried in any sushi place) gyoza and salmon avocado is my favorite roll, they have other great options as well. Lets not forget how good the service is, the manager Ada always takes care of me and remembers what i like, she treats me like we’ve been friends forever. The other waiters and staff are nice too, Andy Tina Cindy and Sandy are always so attentive. This place is great for birthdays and family dinners too. I would give this place 100 stars if i could, keep up the amazing work!
Have been coming here for years. Owner is great and always accommodating. Greets everyone with a smile. Perfect no frill sushi place!
Food was phenomenal! Came for the all you can eat special, which is available all day. The salmon sashimi is out of this world, its fresh, tasty, and they offer a generous portion size. All of the sashimi options were delicious as were the fried appetizers and the sushi rolls. The eel sushi was absolutely delicious, its a large portion size and literally melts in your mouth. I'd come back for more of this alone. The also have a.few dessert options. We got the fresh fruit and green tea ice cream 🍦 which was delicious, creamy and a nice end to the meal. You have 90 minutes to finish your meal. I'll be back to try out more of the rolls and for the sashimi. Service was amazing, the servers were attentive and checked on us frequently. They brought fresh appetizers and cleared empty plates quickly. They answered any questions and were overall friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was great, there was plenty of seating available throughout. The venue was clean, spacious, well lit and easily accessible. The bathroom is clean as well. There is plenty of parking outside in the parking lot, as well as street parking available if necessary. Had a great experience and will be back again. 🍣
Our waitress was super nice. It gets busy around dinner time but she was super efficient and quick. Great way to try a variety of different dishes and rolls.
Picked this to celebrate motherhood for a close friend and it was a nice, relaxing atmosphere with great food - perfect for a special occasion. They had a lot of different options and everything was well done and fresh. They even had galbi as part of the menu and it was pretty good!
Amazing sushi ! Loved it! Staff really nice and respectful too! Thank you so much guys! I’ll be coming back
20251109::was hungry so i dropped in. everything awsome 20251004::prices went up a little, but food is always goood 20250710::WOW almost 2 years ago i was here. and the price has not changed from $33.99. good sashimi, sushi and tempura 20230712:: what happened to my original post? merge and close account. here it is again. i like this place. havent been here since the fake pandemic
The all-you-can-eat option adds a fun dynamic. I tried several rolls in one sitting, and every single one was satisfying. Even with its many options, New Sushi Village doesn’t slip on consistency; each roll comes out fresh. Service is friendly and attentive, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended, especially if you want your sushi brilliant, fresh, generous, and in a place that already has plenty of fans.
Love This Place Definitely Worth It! Had a great experience here. Totally worth every bite of sushi I had. Just a few things for anyone coming here for the first time: Read the menu carefully. When you're ordering, take your time. For example, under Option C (Maki), you can choose between a hand roll or 6-piece cut roll I missed that part and realized too late. So don’t rush and make sure you double check what you're picking. It’s all-you-can-eat, but don’t waste. It’s written right at the top of the menu: if you leave too much food, they’ll charge extra. So just be mindful when ordering. Service was good overall. Waitress was excellent fast and kind. I ordered a lot of different stuff, so it’s understandable that the shrimp tempura didn’t come out the first time. I just asked again and got it later—no big deal. Parking is tight but doable. They have parking out front. It’s usually full, but cars move pretty often, so if you’re a little patient, you’ll get a spot. Now, the food: The fish was fresh especially the tuna, salmon, eel, and red clam sashimi. The sushi rice was just right, and the avocado was fresh. The spicy tuna roll had a nice kick without being too much. Spicy mayo was really good too. Just so you know, the crab meat is imitation, but that’s normal for these kinds of places. We also got a few items like edamame, shumai, and the chicken veggie soup (I forgot to take pics before digging in). Dessert was the best part for me loved the green tea ice cream and the tempura banana. So good. Price: We paid $88 for two people, including drinks and dessert. For the amount and quality, I thought it was more than fair. Final Thoughts: Good food, fresh fish, fair price, and a nice spot overall. Just take your time when ordering, and don’t overdo it on the portions unless you plan to finish it. I’d definitely come back.
They do a great job here: great sushi, sashimi, little appetizers and desserts too. Sure it’s all you can eat, but it’s also super high quality. I think it’s a great value. I’ve been a number of times with family and friends and always impressed, always leave happy:) sometimes we’re have to wait for a table but many times we don’t - lots of space inside and even if it is super crowded they can handle it. Professionals!
We ordered a lot of food. The food are delicious. A little bit expensive for the price but definitely worth it. Parking might be tight. They have a basement seating and 1st floor seating. They have giant TV on first floor with sushi chef making the rolls. Food come pretty quick. Restroom on both floors. Recommend trying out at least once.
I’ve been coming to New Sushi Village for over a decade, and it never disappoints. The unlimited sushi is always fresh and delicious, with a flavorful menu that keeps things exciting every visit. Their sake selection is great, and the service is consistently excellent—friendly, fast, and attentive. Whether it’s a casual night out or a celebration, this place always delivers a great time. A true gem!
I was really impressed with the quality of service received. The care was quick, efficient and very professional. You can see the dedication and commitment to customer satisfaction. Undoubtedly, a highly recommended experience. I look forward to continuing to this level of service in the future.
This is our go to place for ayce sushi in the Bayside area when the 11 of us gather. It’s a decent sized restaurant but they are always packed. There is a parking lot but maybe only 10 spaces; you can always find nearby street parking. Be sure to make a reservation if you don’t want to wait! Never had any problems here in terms of the food we order. Things are always made fresh and good portion.
Worth the price and way big of Maki. The atmosphere looks like Diner but with sushi, a table close to each other feels like a family dinner. The parking lot at the restaurant is restricted to 10 cars if remove the temporary outdoor seating will be more. Overall was good! I only have 1 thing that the restaurant needs to improve the fried Salmon which was not good and smells like fish rotten on my plate.
Excellent service and great food. The waiter and waitress checked in on us often and the food came out fast. We actually enjoyed the appetizers very much, everything came out delicious and crispy. The appetizer portions are small, which I love because you can sample everything and not be too full from just 1 dish. Sushi was good and the ice cream was creamy and fresh. We went on a Monday night, so it was not too busy. The waitress was very sweet and gave our 2.5 yr old a good quality toy, very kind of them.
My first all you you can eat sushi experience. Definitely a great bang for your buck. It has lots of seating, both inside and out. The staff is very attentive, always making sure you have food on the table. Everything tasted very fresh and was well prepared. Make sure you finish all your food or you can expect a surcharge.

Fish quality fine. Wide variety for cooked options. Unfortunately no tuna sashimi available, but there is tuna sushi.
Good selection of cooked foods, sushi and sashimi. Come early, it's not a big place and fill up pretty quickly. Don't order fresh fruits, just 3 slices of orange. Don't order adamame, too large a portion and over cooked, save your stomach for sushi and sashimi. Order BBQ squid instead of calamari, tastes like much better. Have parking space on facility, but limited.
This is my local go to when I crave filling Japanese/ Oriental fair. Its an all u can eat restaurant that fills the belly to satisfaction. They provide wonderful service, a simple clean no fuss ambiance, and plenty of tasty familar favorites; Korean short ribs, Steamed Shumai, Dumplings, spicy Kani salad to name but a few items. The main event is the vast selection of rolls, sushi and sashimi. There is plenty of variety to satisfy the main clientele of locals at large. Its not a fancy gastronomic palace but then the value charged is also reflected in that. You come enjoy, fill your belly and leave satisfied.
Sushi addict approved!! Been here few times already and love the menu!!!! 1. The sushi is small in size compared to other all you can eat sushi places rolls ranging from six to eight pieces. 2. Flavor: the flavors are really amazing and accurate to descriptions on menu 3. Variety of sushi is excellent almost just as wide as Albany wasabi (similar selections) That being said every sushi buffet has a different menu so it’s all about which menu works for you the best. 4. Staff & Service, well…… they try. The staff welcomes you with a smile and greets you right away while they take you to your table. They have a tendency to confuse tables and forget orders which can be frustrating. Wait time: yes on a busy night you are going to wait and on a less busy night your still going to wait. This all being said I say if you never try them check out the menu see if you see something you like and try it! If you do you won’t be disappointed!!!! As far as ranking of the area as comparing all sushi all you can eat buffets in queens/Brooklyn/ Manhattan this is forth on my list to must try (number one being Nobu lower Manhattan) Happy eating!!! 🍣🍱 ps I recommend the mango tango roll and the green tea Ice-cream!
Being a sushi lover, I can’t believe that I never tried a all you can eat sushi place before. It was a great experience and totally worth it. Their Sunday prices are about $34 per person, which seems pretty reasonable. They have a huge sitting space and always so crowded so the ambiance is really loud. You get to pick out of various options beginning from various appetizers, to soups, to teriyaki, and then of course sushi. I tried so many different rolls and I have to say the Godzilla and Butterfly rolls were my most favorite!! For desserts they have a few options - I tried fried oreos and green tea ice cream. Both were amazing. The service is fast and the staff is super nice. I will definitely recommend this spot!
This place food was great but it was so cold inside that it was not easy to enjoy the food. We sat next to the fireplace and still was freezing. The bathroom is very clean which is a good thing.
Welcoming and friendly vibe from the owner and staff. Nice spaces, quite large, attractive design. We ordered a sushi combo, dragon roll and the chirashi: the fish was good quality, decent portions. One weakness: their sushi rice is a tad dry and a bit hard...they could move up to the next level if they improve it. No liquor license yet.
Came here on a Monday night (President's Day) for all you can eat (AYCE) sushi with two others. There are a few parking spaces on the side of the restaurant. Outdoor dining is an option with large tables set up, but we opted for indoor dining. We were seated promptly when we arrived, with options of ice water or hot tea for the table. The tables are amply spaced apart to not feel crowded with other patrons. There are also several seats at the sushi bar available. The interior is somewhat dated and aged, and maintenance is lacking (lots of algae in the fish tank). In contrast, the food was up to date. The AYCE menu includes several types of sashimi, nigiri, basic rolls, and specialty rolls on the raw side. There are many cooked options as well such as noodle dishes and fried dishes, plus a couple ice cream flavors for dessert. Our party of 3 opted for some fried tempura veggies and shrimp (the shrimp was excellent but the veggies were on the heavy side), LA galbi (well seasoned but over cooked), and miso soup (average) from the cooked menu. For the seafood, we ordered the salmon and white tuna multiple times, arctic clam, cooked eel, multiple nigiri including salmon, tuna, and shrimp, and many different rolls. All the fish was very fresh and delicious. The nigiri was a little heavy on the amount of rice given with each piece and also not the most well constructed (several fell apart when trying to dip in the soy sauce). The beautifully crafted rolls are well balanced with the amount of rice, fish, and other ingredients. After 3 rounds of orders, we opted for green tea and red bean ice cream to finish. Overall, our total came out to be just over $100 (prices as of Feb 2023 were $34 pp M-Th, $36 pp Fri-Sun and holidays, kids under age 10 half price) plus tax and tip. The service was prompt in standard Asian restaurant efficiency style, the AYCE cost was fair for the quality and quantity of the food we had, and the ambiance was par for the course of AYCE sushi joints in Queens. Will certainly consider returning to satisfy any future AYCE sushi cravings!
Food and rolls were better than expected compared to previous time but they served a table who arrived after us before us. Bad service. Keep vigilant and complain!
From the moment we pulled into the parking lot and walked through the doors, the vibe of this restaurant was perfect—warm, inviting, and cozy. Despite being busy, we were seated in a timely manner, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our meal. The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and came in generous portions, as did the appetizers. Every dish we tried was delicious, making it clear that quality is a top priority here. The all-you-can-eat experience was well worth it, with a great selection and efficient service. Highly recommend this spot to any sushi lover, and we will definitely be back for more!
Nice restaurant that offers inside & outside dining. There's a small aquarium inside. A fireplace that wasn't on . 🦋me & my mom came here for light lunch. So we got the - spicy Maki lunch with Miso soup (it was nice, just blend and simple) - special roll : hot mama (pleasant) - sushi bar: Sushi pizza ( packed with flavor, definitely recommend) 🦋There's an all you can eat deal if you want. Price differs from mon-thurs vs. Friday- Sunday. 🦋parking on site 🦋one spacious bathroom available 🦋staff & service was nice. Overall, it was a nice experience.

3.5 stars. AYCE American style sushi. The salmon and eel sushi were good. My only complaint: too much rice. I've been to another AYCE sushi place called Akino, and they gave smaller portioned rice with a good amount of filling. I like New Sushi for their salmon and eel only; they tasted better than the ones in Akino. However, Akino's menu has an interesting variety that suits my taste more. If you like your sushi simple, New Sushi is good for you. I don't recommend anything else other than salmon and eel. I had the Butterfly roll and it was bad. All I tasted was rice, and flavor was not good. Also, at one point, one of our eel rolls didn't even have eel in it. Once again...it was just rice. I don't think I ate my money's worth. I got full really quickly b.c of the rice. Dessert was matcha ice cream. Wasn't the best matcha ice cream i had, but it is what it is. I definitely prefer AKINO over New Sushi. Customer service was good. We came to eat after lunch time, so the ladies who served us were very attentive.

when i was dining with a friend they omitted part of our order and said ‘no more for now’ like we were children and not paying customers.
Quick and fast service, but mediocre fish quality. Best thing was probably the salmon teriyaki. They give insane amounts of rice for the nigiri. It was $33.95 weekday dinner
Pretty average experience. Your average ayce sushi. Ordered 2 rounds and that’s it. Sushi was ok, nothing that’ll amaze you but the freshness was ok. The appetizers, other than the shrimp, are mediocre. Options are very limited and some, such as stir fried udon, which is included in many other ayce sushi, is not included, its order on the side. Overall, I would say this is a skip unless you’re really craving sushi and there’s no other options around.

All you can eat option can have you missing what you ordered. Make sure to take a picture so you can take account what arrives and what vanishes.
First of all they added $10 tip to my bill that was already over $100 & I didn’t wanna tip because I was unhappy with the establishment. Second, when I got my ice cream my spoon was dirty I asked for another spoon & that one was dirty too. The Seating was so close my gf & I could literally hear the tables next to us conversations the entire time we were there, uncomfortable. My gf had some weird looking thing on her Sashimi Salmon that I told her don’t even eat the salmon..that I paid for. Overall want my money back but that’s kinda too late so instead I’d like it if you’re reading this PLEASE DONT GO.
I have been here for several times and they are getting worse and worse! When I arrived with my family, we waited for almost 5 minutes to be served and led to a table by a waiter (a waitress passed and ignored us several times). It did not take that long to get food, but the food were not that fresh anymore compared to before. The most unacceptable thing is that they didn't serve what we ordered. I asked for only 2 rounds, both were short of the amount of what I ordered, and some orders were even missing and never served! one picture shows what I ordered and another picture shows what I got. The waiter even realized it was so rediculous and ordered again for me directly! What a shame! I will never go to this restaurant again!
Horrible experience. We walked in to check out the menu and ask questions about the all you can eat buffet. We were immediately notified that we will be charged if you take food home or leave food not eaten. Its understood most all you can eat apply the same rule. It was a decent amount of food ordered. We ate most of our food. The level of harassment was unbelievable. The waiters were watching us like hawks to make sure we ate the food. They kept coming to the table making sure we ate all the food. And overall a lot of attitude for no reason. We were harassed for a tip. I clearly stated "I was unhappy with the service and tip is suggested not obligated". I will not be going to this establishment again. Waste of money. And the food wasn't the greatest. I have never been treated like that before. I hope these issues will be addressed being the food was extremely overpriced.
The service was very poor. I ordered salmon belly, but they served me salmon roe. The pronunciation of “salmon belly” and “salmon roe” is completely different. This was not my mistake, but they still asked me to pay for it.
