The Well Coffee Flushing Reviews
I’ve had a lot of great lattes over the years. But this one might be the best one I’ve had. Absolutely stellar latte. Sweet potato latte. I don’t remember a lot of lattes because I’ve had so many. But this one and a lavender latte I got New Orleans. I will forever remember. Excellent job and without a doubt worth the visit. Food was awesome too.
I haven't eaten here, but I enjoy their excellent coffee. The staff is friendly/welcoming. The cafe is a lovely, open space with a adjacent playroom for kids.
This large yet cozy spot is great for conversations, a quick bite or using a laptop. There are tables available with access to plugs for your convenience. The wall to wall windows provides enough natural light yet doesn't distract from the indoor lighting. The staff is attentive and very welcoming. Food items include oatmeal, chia pudding, breakfast sandwiches and much more. The coffee is delicious and you also have an option of dairy and non dairy choices. A variety of teas are also available. Both provide the warmth needed on a cold November day. Pictured: Egg, bacon and tomato croissant sandwich with a dark roast oat latte
Gorgeous, spacious cafe with cool, modern ambience that a classmate recommended to me. Went there for overnights oats and since there was none left in the afternoon, I got the avocado egg toast and oat draft. Oat draft was very pleasant/mild and avocado egg toast was EXQUISITE. The way it's served and the presentation elevates the amazing combination of arugula, balsamic glaze, fresh avocado, and perfectly boiled egg(s). I will say that there is slightly too much yogurt spread and the multigrain bread is cut a little thick making it difficult to chew. I'd recommend burrata or ricotta instead of the yogurt. Still thoroughly enjoyed the food as it gave me the impression of a fine dining experience in a warm cafe. Thank you and I will be back to try more items on the menu.
This café has a separate room for children to play in, which is the main reason I’m writing this review. It’s a great setup and looks very nice. The facilities are also well-maintained, spacious, and modern. You can tell the owner put a lot of effort into creating a welcoming space. While I don’t personally love Flushing in general (just my own bias), this café itself was excellent. It’s definitely worth a visit, and the tea cups are much larger than you’d expect.
The perfect cafe!! I love everything about this place. Been going here since it first opened. The menu is so unique. The food and drinks are super delicious and prepared with a lot of care. Staff is always super friendly. The atmosphere is cozy, with the modern decor and calm music. God bless.
Modern coffee shop in an older part of Flushing. Love this spot. The banana bread in the case was a little dry but did the job. The iced green tea was refreshing. Looks like they have a few different food options in the menu on counter. They also have a bunch of tables and chairs in there if you want to relax or do work.
Such a Gem in Astoria! This café has such a great vibe — the energy is calm and inspiring, perfect for reading, studying, or getting creative work done. The space is super clean, cozy, and welcoming. Everything is reasonably priced, and you really feel like you can stay for hours. It’s one of those rare spots that feels both relaxing and energizing at the same time. I absolutely loved it and would definitely go back. Highly recommend!
Back in NYC for a few days, a city I once called home, filled with memories and beloved brothers and sisters. 💛 As I stepped into the summer heat, an elderly man smiled and said, "Drink more water!", a simple gesture that made me smile too. ☀️ Soon after, I dropped by The Well and asked the barista what’s good for staying cool. She suggested their new Strawberry Matcha Latte, made with sparkling water for that extra refreshment. She was right, light, fizzy, and perfectly balanced. A summer drink that hit the spot, and a reminder of why I’ve always loved this city, and thoughtful places like The Well that make it feel like home.
A wonderful place for food, coffee and much more. Spacious cafe with seating. I saw many people working on their laptops, recommend for working. I enjoyed the egg and bacon on a croissant. Comes with a little salad as well. I loved the butterfly pea lavender lemonade. They also have a cute kids room play area for any parents. Staff was friendly, nice and professional. Super cute cafe with good selection of food. 10/10!
A Gem for Parents and Little Ones! As new parents, finding a spot where we can relax and keep our toddler entertained is like striking gold—and this café absolutely delivered! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with delicious food and great coffee (a must for sleep-deprived parents!). But the real highlight is the thoughtfully designed playroom for kids. It’s clean, safe, and filled with engaging toys and activities that kept our little one happily occupied the entire time. What sets this place apart is that you’re allowed to bring the food and drinks that you purchased into the play area. It made such a difference being able to enjoy our meal while still keeping an eye on our child. No rushing, no stress—just a genuinely enjoyable time. We’re so grateful for businesses like. We’ll definitely be back!
An amazing experience! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the warm atmosphere and charming decor. The coffee is simply spectacular, with an aroma and flavor that reflect the quality of the beans. I tried the Strawberry Matcha Latte and the Pumpkin Spice Latte, and both were delicious, with a perfect balance of flavors. I also enjoyed the Breakfast Bacon & Egg Bagel, the Chocolate Oreo Waffle, and the Matcha Red Bean Waffle. Every bite was a delight, made with fresh and well-paired ingredients. The service was impeccable. The staff is friendly and attentive, always with a smile and ready to make recommendations based on your preferences. Plus, the atmosphere is perfect for relaxing, working, or catching up with friends. A great bonus is their kids’ play area, making the visit even more enjoyable for families. Definitely my new favorite café. I can’t wait to go back! ☕✨
My favorite cafe. It is clean, tidy and full of a warm atmosphere. The staff here are energetic and love to talk to you. No matter where you sit in the corner, the staff will personally deliver the coffee to you, which is really great. The coffee and food here are great. Drinking coffee and chatting here is a pleasure. I like to communicate with the staff and guests here, and I will feel full of vitality and positive energy.
Great place to get some work/study done and/or chit-chat with friends. There are only about 4 outlets in the main cafe area and 2 outlet on the wall close to the kids room. Love that they use actual plates and cups for dine-in because a lot of cafes tend to just use disposable ones even if it’s for dine-in. Apparently, it’s a nice to get pictures taken too because I’ve customers go there and legit have a mini photoshoot session by themselves (some in cosplay, too).
Definitely my favorite coffee shop in town! It's an aesthetic cafe with a good vibe. I fell in love with their rose latte with real rose petals on top. The oat draft latte from the tap is perfect for summer with a smooth, silky texture. All their sandwiches are delicious and come with a side salad or chips. Their in-house baked pastries (cranberries cookies, banana bread, Portuguese egg tarts) are a fantastic match to the coffee for tea time. I particularly enjoy the egg tarts when freshly out of the oven (I believe they are out daily at 11 am, a must-try). They roll out new items from time to time: the mixed fruit toast and potato soup are so yummy too. I hope they will keep launching new things. Their offerings never disappoint me! There is a playroom for kids on the opposite side of the cafe. So parents can stay inside to enjoy coffee while their kids play with toys without worrying the noise may interrupt other customers. What a thoughtful design! The staff is friendly and professional. They go the extra mile to ensure you receive good quality service. They even deliver the food and drinks to the table for customers! Oh, I have to mention the lady restroom is clean and spacious, never have to wait in line again! ;P
This place was cute. Went with my 1 year old because I heard they have a play room which is awesome to be able to have a coffee or lunch while your toddler stays entertained! The chai was good and the bagel with cream cheese was fresh. The play room was small but there were plenty of toys and books and things to keep my toddler busy. I will go back for sure.
My husband and I were in Queens yesterday morning and decided to try out The Well Coffee. We were one of the first customers in there, as we arrived shortly after they opened. The space was spacious and bright with plenty of seating, which I loved. The woman who took and prepared our order was so friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered a vanilla latte with a croissant and my husband got the chai latte with a slice of banana bread. The banana bread had an earl grey cream drizzle with crushed pistachios on top. Fancy! The pastries were just okay but we both really loved our drinks. It was nice and quiet in there since it was still pretty early but there was a steady stream of people coming in to grab their coffees to go. Something else I loved was that they had a kids playroom, with toys, books, and kids-sized tables and chairs! I'm always so delighted to see establishments make space for kids, a rarity these days. We'd definitely come back to The Well Coffee!
Nice hidden gem for good quality coffee and quick snack. One of my regular spots I stop by when I’m the area. They have good coffee and friendly/kind staff with reasonable priced menu items. My goto drink is their mocha latte. I usually ask them to make it slightly more sweet than normal. It’s a great spot for a quick coffee with friends or colleagues. Only complaint is that it’s a bit small and limited seating. The separation of the cafe from the building lobby is a bit of a blur. During their busy hours, it’s a bit hard to find a place to seat. I would not recommend the place for studying or work. I would consider it mainly for quick drink/eat or pickup.
As the father of a toddler I was pleasantly surprised by a dedicated kids section in the cafe. There is a spacious room with plenty of toys and tables so you can watch your children as they keep themselves busy while enjoying your coffee. It’s not everyday that you get to relax at a cafe like this 🤣. Otherwise the decor is modern with ample seating, staff are warm and friendly. The quality of the drinks and cake we got were good, I would be happy to visit again with my kiddo.
I want to start off by saying the staff here is great. I’ve been here many times and always had a great experience. However today I was very disappointed when I ordered 2 Acai bowls to-go and when I got home, they were basically half empty. For the price you pay ($15 each, $30 total) I would expect the cup to be full. There was barely any food in here. I’m not the type of person to go back and demand a refund and argue but felt the need to express my disappointment.
