Good service but food wasn't nearly as good as other dels

Best Del Taco I've been to, always on point. The food just tastes better here than other locations. Plus its never too busy.

The Birria Tacos with Cosmè was surprisingly good. My family has always loved the Carne Asada fries.

Valentin is your greatest asset! He is the main reason I come back to Delete Taco. My favorite burrito is shrinking in size, I have gone to Delete Taco since before it was Delivered Taxi, I am sad to see the regular items start to shrink in size.

Del Taco, is my favorite Mexican fast food restaurant, surprisingly they also offer some really good burgers and the best fries of all the fast food establishments. My only hope, is that, Jack In The Box who recently acquired them stick with the old adage "that if it ain't broke don't fix it! I hope I'm wrong, but I fear I'm not. The only thing Jack In The Box has going for them are their milkshakes and their hours. Please, Mr Jack In The Box do no harm!

I've always been a fan of Del Taco

For a fast food restaurant, they have a huge selection (including awesome burgers) and ALL of their food is made to order! So yes, they get five stars.

Great location. They just have drive thru operating. Great healthy food at very reasonable prices. Delivery available. Clean. Outside seating when available. Nice size inside seating when available. Restrooms in front door area. Lots of parking.

You know you really can't beat the price getting 69 cent tacos that are pretty dog gone good. Why would anyone spend dollar ninety-eight for a bigger taco and get only one when you can get 4 value tacos and be totally stuffed full for a little over two bucks? I love the place and everybody's very nice and friendly!

Crispy chicken and guac burrito may replace my family as the thing I love most. Honestly, everything here is good, and the fresh cut and shredded lettuce and cheddar put it all head and shoulders above most other fast food places. I stop here every time I'm in Folsom.

I had not eaten at Del Taco in a while and thought I would try it out again. The food quality is good and priced very fair. I will stop in more often.

This location is open 24/7, has great value, generous portions, and good QC over their food. Staff is friendly. Compared to what you get at the local Taco Bells in the area, I'd much rather go here.

Del Taco happens to be my favorite Taco joint in America! Not only are their prices very reasonable but the quality of the food is higher than say Taco Bells. I especially like their deals on Taco Tuesdays and their reward program. I'm still waiting for them to come to Broward County since there aren't any down here yet. I've had their tacos in Las Vegas and in California cities. I highly recommend Del Taco over Taco Bell any day.

One of the best fast food places in Folsom in my opinion. The fries are always freshly made, food is delicious and the amount of cheese you get in your tacos puts taco bell to shame! Valentin there is also amazing, super friendly and fast. (also cheaper than TB!!)

I think the food is very good. The basic del Taco at $2.30 is pretty good. The price on most of their items has gone up in the last year but I have no complaints about the food or the service. I do recommend going inside instead of the drive-thru though

Tables were dirty, there was food all over the floor all throughout the restaurant. The soda fountain area was completely thrashed. All the trays were piling up and the trash cans were overflowing inside as well. The hot sauces, and ketchup were out of stock and customers had to keep asking for packets. Everything was great minus maintaining inside the restaurant.

I rarely leave reviews but I have to say this visit was 5 stars all around, especially the friendly and cheerful lady who helped me, first name starts with an "I". I'll be back more often if you keep hiring workers who look and act like they want to be there. 42 years eating at Del Taco, by the way.

We were up the street at the Harris Center for a show and happy to find Del Taco's dining room open at 9:45 pm. My companion ordered the crispy taco meal, and I ordered the chicken taco meal. Both were excellent and accompanied by fresh, piping hot French fries - they are absolutely delicious. A number of non-carbonated drinks are available; I had the raspberry iced tea and my companion the fruit punch. The dining room closed at 10 pm, however, staff kindly allowed us to stay and eat. Great food, good service, and excellent dining experience. Highly recommended!

Best tacos of all fast food stores. No sugar added. And they drain the meat for 30 minutes before serving it. And they have french fries which no competitors have. Great prices. Taco Tuesday sale. Del Taco has always been a reliable spot for me. I've been coming here for years and never had any issues. I used to love grabbing their cheddar chicken quesadilla late at night, and now I make it a point to go on Thursdays for their three tacos for $3.59 deal. The value menu is great for anyone looking for a budget-friendly meal. Highly recommend checking them out if you're in the area!

Better than our local Taco bell 🤷 not a huge fan of "Ameri-Mexican" food tho. I like it traditional and authentic. Still a great spot for a quick bite tho, fast service and food was fresh!

It's yout typical I want some tacos or burritos type of spot that you visit on the way home from work. The food is decent and they have a good variety of stuff.

The flatbread chicken taco is my go-to quick lunch. One is plenty. Good value and nice flavor. This location is very reliable and convenient.

This Del Taco is pretty good. Food has always seemed to be hot and freshly prepared to order. That can make it take a little longer than some other places, but hardly noticable. Definitely nothing to complain about (especially since the reason is fresh food!) Once in a while, they do forget an item in my bag, but they have always been really nice, and apologetic about the situation. And of course, promptly replaced the missing item. To be fair, i do tend to hace a pretty large order here because i usually end up getting food for a few people. I could understand how it would be easy enough to miss something. No complaints about the customer service, either. All the emoloyees who have taken my (large) order have been patient, and didn't sound annoyed, like some other place's emoloyees might have. The guy at the drive thru window last time i went seemed to have a pretty good sense of humor, which doesn't go unappreciated. Overall summation ~ Yes, go to this Del Taco, its a good one! For me far exceeds taco bell. There is more variety in there menue and a value section. My favorite is the cringle fries, and the bun taco. Just put the taco in a hamburger bun. Love it. The del taco in Folsom is great. Nice and clean and nice employees. The del taco in citrus heights is run down and dirty. I have had bad experiences with the employees in citrus heights. Attitude and messing with my food.

I really enjoy the ability to buy a vegan substitute that actually tastes good! Service took a little long but it was busy. Inside was clean and organized as well, so this place scores some points with me

The food is always fresh and really good, The only problem I have Is the same problem I have at all DEL tacos. They never cook the French fries until they're done. They're always raw and cold. I always thought there was a timer on French fry machines. But apparently not at this location or any Del Taco.

This might be the only Del Taco that got my order 100% right, the items actually had everything they were supposed to have on them and they provided an appropriate number of salsa packets. The women’s bathroom however was completely vile and my husband confirmed that the men’s bathroom was equally bad. I’d rather have all my items so thank you Del!!

I hadn't been to Del Taco for quite some time, and then I went back, because it was the only place still open very late at night. I had forgotten what a good fast food option they really are, and now I am happy to be coming back regularly! There is something "classic" about Del Taco.

Drive through had very nice & polite people working. Ingredients are fresh, but price is a bit high for chicken burrito size. Same price almost as Chipotle but size of Taco Bell. Fish taco with lime to squeeze on side is great.

Well I’m writing a review for a fast food joint. I usually order through the drive thru. And I have no complaints. Since the days of COVID, they have mores staff to handle the drive thru and dining room. Both are open. The dining room is kept clean. It’s comfortable. At Del Taco, they have a human person take your order at the counter. No kiosk. The human that took my order last week was great. He had a great attitude and was helpful. I ordered items to go. I was even offered a water cup while I waited. Great customer service. The food is basic. Simple. Tasty. The prices are the lowest around for fast food. My family’s go to are the bean burrito with verde sauce $2.29, snack taco $1.29 and the crunchy Del taco $2.29, crinkle cut $3.39-$3.89, and the Del burger $3.29. The crinkle cut fries seem to be inconsistent in the doneness. Sometimes I’ve gotten crisp fries where they are not soft to the bite, other times the fries have no crispness and are limp but cooked , but the majority of time I get ‘ em fried to the doneness between those two. This time it was right on, crisp soft yo the bite crinkle fries.

All tables were super dirty.. it was raining and there was no mat at the door.. a guy slipped and fell because of it.

Went to get my favorite another newbie said we don't have that ...lol then I get home and it's half the size it normally was so I'm still hungry but too far away to get more ..first time I ordered a tostito bean tostada ....I found like 10 beans smashed on a very tasteless shell with very little lettuce and about 20 0ieces of Shredded cheese it was like eating a little lettuce on a piece of paper even salsa did not help it ...disappointed very much ...wish I had taken pictures but I was to hungry before and after I ate .

Really good food but the dirtiest restroom I've seen in a long time. Even after just being open for 15 minutes.

Food was good, but window attendant was not super friendly. She was busy, true, but give attention where attention is due. When she handed me my food, I thanked her. Instead of thanking me for my patronage, she said, "You're welcome.", and closed the window. When I go to drive up windows, I usually at least receive a halfhearted thank you, but not here.

The quality and service is so hit and miss here. I swear there are two entirely separate staffs and depending on who the manager on duty is your food will be horrible or great. Too many times at lunch I've gotten soggy old fries after waiting in line behind multiple cars.

Food has gone downhill. They used to have a jack quesadilla made with Jack, a cheese that melted perfectly without separation into grease puddles. Their cheddar is wet with grease when melted. They used to have good burgers and fries. Mow they try, badly, to fuse fries and nachos . Please get back to the basics Del Taco.

Food was okay, fries were under cooked. But tacos were good. Strawberry lemonade was all syrup a bit to sweet and missing the tart. Customer service was great and super friendly, and employees seem to be enjoying their work. Atmosphere okay as it's a fastfood.

It was so cold in the Restaurant that I had to go get my coat when I ask the manager to please turn off the Air conditioner she said no. Also waited for my food which the 3 fish tacos was cold and there was only 2 people in the Restaurant working also it seemed that Drive Thur only mater which was also backed up unbelievable

Seemed like the cheesecake bites were a little overcooked. The burrito not the greatest, had a funny taste.

I used to love this Del Taco, now whenever I go it's bad. My girlfriend just went right now, at 7:50 before work, and they weren't ready 50 minutes after they opened. Used to be a loyal regular. Now I'm done!

DT used to have the ultimate fries which really carried their menu but they haven't had enough salt on them for some time now and now the last couple times I've eaten there their fries weren't even hot. Very disappointing. I think I'll stick with TB for my Mexican ff. Or better yet Adelbertos (not Adenbertos - l not n) and the occasional Jimboys... Too bad

The emoyees were NOT personal, friendly or helpful. I placed my order, the food was prepared in a timely manner. I had the app for the new Beyond Beef taco but was never asked to use it or if I had any other coupons (which I had BOGO). I hope the next time I go back (IF I go back), I'm greeted by helpful, courteous employees.

Taco Bell food is the worst garbage food around. Like every eating establishment the food taste and quality has gone downhill and the prices up. Horrible tasting bean burrito, these cannot be beans! And if this is actually cheese, I'd be surprised. Unedible. Years ago they served real bean burritos that taste like real beans and cheese that was real cheese.

I ordered shrimp burrito and they gave me 8 shrimps. I was impressed that a fast food resturant provided so many shrimps. But the burrito taste was horrible. I did not like the the rice, coleslaw and beans. It was not fresh.

Food was cold and soggy. Order was incorrect and what the heck is up with the white cheese sauce on the nachos.... gross... what happened to the regular nachos??? Will not be going to Del Taco anymore.

Used to be my favorite spot to eat until the new management. They don't care about the customer and deny any coupons I use. They have been rude to me many times.

On 11.29 I went in and witnessed Jasvir being mean to a customer that wanted the food he ordered made correctly. She said give me the food first and I'll remake it. They appeared to know eachother but still it wasn't made right and he was a customer. She said get out or I'll call 911 and she did. There was no reason to. No threat was made and she was completely in the wrong. She made it a very uncomfortable situation. I guess this is acceptable to Del Taco Corporate because she's still there. I won't be back.

Get a new a new drive through speaker, absolutely awful crackling! Also put someone who can annunciate & speak clearly on the drive through. Frustrating experience. No more jacked up BRC burrito 😞

Walked in at 10:35 am on 9/26/2018 first thing I see is one foodservice worker hand the lineworker/cook a cell phone while they were both wearing blue foodservice gloves and staring right at me I mean really what's the point. I had the worst experience with the heavy man at the drive through window, he had the worst costumer skills, bad attitude and forgot to give my drink. He gave my food, shut the widow and walked away. I then went inside to get my drink and was told he was the manager. His staff were just standing and talking, the register girl was nice but didn’t realize I was there for a few minutes. I typically don’t write reviews but being an owner of 3 successful business, I felt I should say something. I would want to know if my businesses were bad… Thanks

I normally love del taco but today, it was terrible. I ordered 3 chicken soft tacos, got 2 ground beef crunchy tacos. I also ordered the Carmel cheesecake bites and got fries instead. on my receipt everything is right, but what I got, nothing was right and I'm pretty sure I paid more. ):

Food service atmosphere are zero because I received none. No drive thru if you are on foot. In a semi truck driver. No food for me of course. This is how del taco treats people. Can't be bothered to give employees permission to let people order without a car.

If the manager isn't there, their customer service sucks. They'll ignore customers at the counter and only serve the drive through. I've been made to wait more than 5 minutes before they take my order on several occasions and every time the manager wasn't there.

The men working day shift need trained in food safety and handling. The one who took my order at the register then made my burrito with the same gloves on. When I said something, he dismissed me saying he hadn't touched money. That's not the point. The people working registers DO touch money all the time and then touch the register and the scanner he touched. Then one came back from break and started bagging and handling food without washing his hands or using gloves. Calling corporate to advise. Will not eat this and will need refund. How disappointing. Apparently no one learned anything from Covid.

Used to be my favorite fast food place but it's gone downhill. I ordered street tacos for the first time and the menu did not say they have avocado, something I'm allergic to. My companion took it back to get without avocado and the replacement had enough cilantro for a dozen tacos on it. Cilantro is a garnish, not meant to replace the avocado. I wasn't going to send it back again but this is the fourth time I've had similar problems with having to go back and in 20 years, I've never had a problem with their food or service. Not sure why they're changing things but I won't be going back anytime soon.

I once got food poisoning at this place. But I have to keep going back for the fries and tacos. Nothing like fries and tacos. Also they need to fix there soda machine because it always tastes funny. This is clearly a love hate relationship but I can't recommend to others.

For not allowing the dining room open, there should be reason for waiting over 30 minutes in the drive thru line. Chick fil a right across the street is 10x faster with 10x the amount of customers. Don't even waste time going to this place

Second time I went here, I asked the lady at the drive through for alot of sauce because they didn't give me enough last time. She responded INSTANTLY defensive in a harsh tone "what does that even mean, how can i give you something I can't even measure?" -- So I told her ok how about 3 sauces per item, and it seems like she counted them out exactly as if that really matters. By the way, she was wearing a different shirt than all of the other employees leading me to believe she was the manager. I wanted to leave a bad review but I decided to shrug it off. HOWEVER, I returned today. and she was there again, and not only did she give me burritos that looked punctured at the bottom, leaking stuff everywhere, she only gave me two sauces for 4 items. Maybe it's because I didn't ask for extra? Either way, I've never been more intent on contacting the corporate office of a fast food place to get somebody canned... something I never thiought I would do. Would give 0 stars if that was an option. If someone at the corporate office reads the reviews, feel free to contact me and I'll point her out for you. Worst service EVER. Hard to "fight for $15" if you cant even make a damn burrito and have an attitude like that.

Went through drive thru and ordered queso fries, with no sour cream, before leaving I wasn't given a receipt, I asked for a receipt and was told it would be a few minutes wait for the receipt, I said forget it. By the time I get home, I realized they had put sour cream on my nachos. I called the restaurant to speak to a manager about the issue and was told they would call me back with my name and number, I asked why they have to call me back and they replied with, "we don't have to call you back". Then hung up on me. Very unprofessional.

Honestly worst fast food chain to ever be created, i don’t think i’ve ever came here and enjoyed a meal, “order meals 1-15”, are all terrible, the tacos are garbage the burritos are worst and the burgers are half decent. the only good part about this place is the workers, they are super nice and great service. and oh my the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting, i mean it looks like some sketchy room from a horror movie. over all a 10/10 experience

I DoorDash from there a never had an issues but today they gave me some weird chili fries that wasn’t even chili jus sour cream tomato and some sauce. I had ordered two of those and only got one and some disgusting looking nachos and I also ordered and quesadilla and they gave me a taco like????? And the drink isn’t Dr Pepper it’s coke. Alexia was Extremely rude when I asked about being charged 1.99 for beans and cheese which says its 1.50 on the drive through sign she's like I'll tell my manager. Never offered to adjust the price. When I opened the bag I didn't have a spoon to eat my beans and cheese with. I went in the store to get a spoon and asked to speak to the manager. Alexia said the manager was on a break I said I would wait and she said go ahead and wait for 30 minutes. I am still waiting to talk to the manager.

My tacos were okay. The real reason I’m giving this review is that the men’s bathroom was horrible. The toilet was very dirty, unsanitary, not flushed, the bathroom was littered with all kinds of paper including toilet paper. I will never go there again.

2 years ago I gave this place a great review, unfortunately they must have new management as the kid at the drive through is so incredibly rude. I don’t know why. Del taco was my first job 45 years ago, I was glad to be there and we all were very nice to our valued customers. It was a much busier time for Del taco as good customer service mattered back then. Now they get paid much more even counting for inflation and are angry you bothered them. Too bad, such potential. Makes me sad they don’t care there.

Refused to serve me at 3:05am saying they were closed when they are open till 4am. On Thursdays, Fridays & Saturday they only close from 4am to 7am. Second time she's done this to me, also she was very rude. Worst Del Taco ever!

Probably the worst del taco in existence, all due to one bed lemon seen in this photo. He is everything except great, when someone doesn’t want to work at a specific place, it shows, and this guys demeanor is unsatisfactory, specifically because he mocks his customers, and will give people he has never met in his life an attitude, simply put, he should be immediately replaced, to save what little this Del Taco has going left for it. I used to work at this exact location (Unit 841) and let me tell you guys something. We used to drop the food on the ground and instead of throwing it away, the shift manager would tell us to serve it right back to the customer to save time. We also had people go to the restroom, not wash their hands, and even refuse to wear gloves while prepping the food.Talk about fresh!

Seems to be the thing these days. Order in the app for pickup in the lobby, show up and the lobby is closed… unable to cancel said order… drive thru line is more than 10 cars deep and being outpaced by inchworms… Unwilling participant in the way the terms of the deal changed… 25 minutes to get an order than should have been minutes (and in former times was always quick). Ironically ended up here because near the same thing happened at the Blue Ravine Taco Bell which made my no fly list a few weeks ago.

So I went into the stale taco order the for dollar boxes and then I signed up for the Dell taco app so I got free to tacos and they put tomatoes on I said no tomatoes.. I'm allergic to tomatoes by the way No one ever cleaned up the lobby no 1 ever took out the overfilled trash in all the tables were dirtyThis was at the folsm store #0841 And they also need to clean the weird mold that's on the top of them soon machine and where the cups lids sit those are completely filled with dirt and dust
