The Bookmark Cafe Bar Fontana Reviews
Best Greek family I had Miss all of you and all the great food Everyone needs to try this place out !! Fresh every time !!!
My daughter and I shared a corned beef Reuben wrap it was out of this world it was served with a side of coleslaw a pickle and one bag of chips meeting that we had shared the sandwich I bought an additional bag of chips. I've had the corned beef Reuben there before but it wasn't a wrap it was on rye bread and that also was delicious. My husband was with us and he had a cheeseburger chips coleslaw also and all of us had drinks.
You had me at lemon orzo soup! Amazing menu, totally beyond what you would ever expect from a library cafe. Nick is a master chef, and even his grilled cheese sandwich is phenomenal. Also, he sells treats that are in reach of a school kid's budget. During the school year, it can get noisy after school lets out. During the summer, it's more relaxed.
Was not expecting this type of serves or this really delicious food at a library. 1000% recommend stopping by!!!
I went here with my two young daughters. The portions are extremely generous. The kids meal quesadilla made a picky 3 year old happy. My Italian was delicious, and you can tell it’s homemade. The man behind the counter, and the lady at the register were very nice! Highly recommended
They have the best Cubans in the county.Better than some Cuban places I have been to. Their Lemon orzo soup is the best as well. The Greek dishes are authentic and hood as well. We highly recommend Bookmark cafe.
My wife and I saw this place inside the library about 3 in the PM on a Friday, and having skipped lunch, we stopped in for a snack. The snack turned into a real but quick restaurant treat. Wife had lemon chicken soup, and I ordered the chicken quesadilla. Both were excellent. Nick, the personable owner, is a former career WDW executive chef who worked at every Disney park around the world. I’ll just say Go Try It. You’ll like it.
They do not have any alternative milks for their coffee. I am lactose intolerant. Doesn't seem super hard to have one single alternative. This is to inform others/suggest to the owner of the cafe to offer an alternative, so still giving 5 stars. I would get coffee from here every time I went to the library if they did.
This is Largo's best kept secret! Real ice cream malts, potato skins, fried mushrooms, Reubens, smothered porkchops, nachos....the list is extensive and the variety is wide. This place is magical. Set inside the library, one would never know that this place is a real eatery, not just a snack shop. The proprietor, Nick, is just as friendly and helpful as you could hope and makes you feel...not just well served, (which you will be) but truly welcome. This place is a true gem and should be appreciated as such.
amazing place really good food i had the chicken souvlaki and they are kind
I have consistently enjoyed everything I have had served from here. Always fresh, always delicious, and the portions are often enough to make two meals out of. 5 stars for sure.
This is the best little cafe. Me and my family love coming here when we visit the library for lunch or a milkshake! Their food is always delicious and fresh! Be sure to check it out!

The regular big guy that works here is always extremely nice and accommodating, however the older lady that has been working the last week is incredibly rude and not inviting at all. I’ve been told me and my special needs client can’t sit in the eating area with our food (there’s no sign saying that you have to pay/order food to be able to sit) and today she made a snide comment to me in regards to me asking for hot water and a fork saying she’s going to start charging me for said hot water and fork after having always been given it for no charge. The snide comment also came after being ignored and walked away from in the middle of talking. DO NOT RECOMMEND go literally anywhere else for your snack. Will be taking my business somewhere else from now on.
today i went to order a taco salad off the menu in the cafe. one of the workers told me my total was $7.45 i got home, and later found out i was charged $7.77 the menu said a taco salad was only $6.99 so i don’t understand why i got charged $7.77 or why it came out to $7.45 to begin with. i wasn’t even handled a receipt. that’s not ok. I give this a two star because i asked for a togo box and no cheese on my food, which i do appreciate but i’m going to report this in person too because i don’t understand why there was charges being made that i didn’t even know until i got home. I know its like $1 but still. that’s messed up, what if i needed that $1 for something important and i didn’t have it because i basically got robbed at the library?

The man with the cane was very rude to my 82 yr old grandma. She wanted her cheeseburger cooked Medium and flew off the handle!! Will not be back
My 82 yr old grandmother got hepatitis from this place in the library and then when we told it to the man that works there he got indignant towards old customers! Don't go here If you are elderly!!!
Today I was treated terribly by a woman who said, "she owns this." It had just stopped raining, a brief yet fierce thunderstorm had passed over the library, and coincidentally I had stopped my reading for an afternoon snack. Today I had brought with me a singular ham and cheese sandwich and a small handful of potato chips; about 10 - 15 pieces, enough to fit in a ziplock sandwich bag. After I took a moment to examine the tables outside that I usually snack on, and after the mother actually went out to examine the tables and chairs we sat down inside. The woman approached me and told me that nobody ever asks, that they just sit, and that she owns this. To which I replied, "fine, I get it, I am going." She then approached a mother of two, a new born and a three year old, and delivered them the same monologue. After she had ran the four of us off, we met briefly to discuss what had happened; there was nobody in there, we didn't see any signage to distinguish the two entities or that it was for paying customers only, and it had just stopped raining with the sun and humidity making it awful outside. In my humble, and sometimes naive opinion, it may be your cafe, but you represent the Largo library. I do not believe the Largo library would run anyone out the door because they had chosen not to eat in the rain. You should be ashamed of how you treated me, and the absolute lack of respect for that mother and her two children. We both agreed that you have lost our business for life. I hope nobody ever treats you the way you treated four humans today.
