Best breakfast I’ve had in years! Absolutely phenomenal meat (ham and sausage), great pancakes and eggs. Wonderful people. It’s too bad they can’t do dine in seating. I would eat here every morning if I could.

Exactly what you hope to find when you're traveling... delicious, high quality food (Taylor's meats), good value, down home atmosphere. A little off the highway but worth the effort. You feel like you're sitting in the kitchen of a good friend, we'll be back.

Awesomely delicious food. They have a rewards customer loyalty punch card, 11th burger is free. Thank you Vonda for making my special order, hamburger omelette. It is amazing. We will be back soon.

A great place to grab breakfast before going out to hit the river or take your lunch break while you're in the area. This little gem is located in an unlikely cove in Smith River. Altas has a good menu with simple favorites, the portions are good and the price is right.

Nothing worth stopping for in Crescent City. Ordered a bacon burger to go and it made my day! Fresh, delicious, juicy. Fries are home sliced and cooked to perfection! No sign so follow Google Maps.

Very homey! Locals get up and refill their coffee cups ssn CD bus their own tables before they leave. Best local meat from Taylor Sausage. I loved it!

From Crescent city to Brookings, If you're going to have breakfast there's only one spot it's called Altas the best place along the coast here. Excellent breakfast served hot, lunch is also amazing would not go anywhere else, but Altas.

I came based on the reviews and this place is legit! Had a huge tasty burger and fries for $10.75 cash. As others have stated, there isn’t signage and you may drive right past it like I did, but highly recommend if you are in the area!

By far the best burger I have had in years. Definitely the best burger in Del Norte county. The place is great, clean and bright. The one thing missing was a good sign outside but look for the open sign in the window.

Patrons clean up their own tables when done eating to help her out and show respect, as she can get very busy. Everyone is welcome!.. The food is great.. Just be aware it's not a normal restaurant.

Great cheeseburger that tasted the way a cheeseburger should taste. You can tell by the non-uniform shape of the paddy that this is truly home made food. Deducting a point for cash-only, who carries cash nowadays!?

Fries were chewy and gross, beef patties on my patty melt were very dry.

It was ok. No signs with the name of the place. Only an open sign. Hostess/cook basically ignored me other than taking my order/delivered meal/took payment. Didn't say anything to me or even look at me. She was too busy talking to the locals to care about me. I won't be back.

Stopped by on our road trip because of the high reviews...we don't understand the praise. It's a small burger place inside a double wide, like eating in someone's living room. Maybe it's the small town's social club, people seem to come here just to hang out. Food is what I describe as "cooked to safely serve, not to impress". Burger was unseasoned and unsauced, soda was a room temperature can. Only way I see how people love this place is the socializing so they don't notice the food ain't good.

CASH only.... That was a surprise, had a sign under a statue on a table, clearly not easy to see... Food was good... But took all the cash I had planned to use on my trip... Would have been a 5 star review... But really screwed us over... :( will NOT be back ...

Weve lived next door at Rowdy Creek mobile home park for 9 years... Tried UNSUCCESSFULLY 6 different times to enjoy some breakfast... Each & Every time we arrived we would wait easily 20 minutes without our order being taken. The owner was extremely rude when asked when we could order ! We'll Never attempt a simple breakfast at this disrespectful excuse of a diner !! Horrible service unless she knows you personally. We've heard the food was good, but the service is Disrespectful at Best !
