When I first arrived here I was excited to see they have a Burger King here. But quickly became very disappointed I was given the wrong order one day and the excessive wait times are not good. Today Sunday June 9. 2024 11:32 a.m. was told the wait time would be 20 minutes, right on top of lunch time and really this isn't any different than the other days I sat in the drive thru. So I'm changing it to one star 😞. And I won't be eating here anymore.
The staff here are absolutely amazing! They keep a positive attitude and keep a steady drive thru . Thank you for making fort Irwin a better place! Our fries are always fresh and so is the other food. You rock 👏
As always Jesus is a great positive attitude service oriented guy and I've known him and spoken to him for over a decade now. The food I got was made properly and as hot as it could be by the time I drove back to my bldg. No issues to speak of.
This burger king location is in the same building with Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen and they share the dinning tables inside. There aren't many options for dinning inside the base, that's why this place is busy during lunch hours. I been there multiple times and I remember having the wrong order twice from the drive thru. I haven't had any issues for dinning in orders. Thank you
The food took a long time, but the manager and the staff were super duper nice! I had a small breakdown, whoops, but they all were very very kind! I’m very embarrassed my hangry got to me. But the staff on Friday at 12-1 excellent! Thank you also the sandwich was delicious!

I try to eliminate carbs as much as possible and the staff has no problem making my burger wrapped in lettuce or just simply on a plate. I do notice that there isn’t usually a wait here as most of the people seem to be ordering at Popeyes so sometimes this is the better option if you are short on time.

Staff is always friendly and Jesus couldn't be any more cheerful after all he's endured. One obvious thing that staff was aware of is the New soda machines.. glitches and the usual event of not having a syrup filled mix dispensing your flavor of choice. Vendors should have figured out how to cut off dispensing when syrup is dried up?? Jalapeno cheese bites were way too small for a serving size.
I can't see the menu. So I have to take photos. The writing is oddly tiny. It's also weird that the speaker to take my order in the drive-through is before the menu. I couldn't see the menu so I had to go inside to order. Then couldn't read the menu inside. I rarely go to BK so I don't really have favorites. Food was good though.
Great food and great management. Except for a certain supervisor starting with a K. Verote is very nice. Very easy to work with. The other supervisor definitely only comes to work to flirt with older men and treat staff like garbage.
The food was hot, it was good. Delivery was fast. But the order taker needs to be a little louder you can not here them.

Very clean Burger King and everything there looks recently renewed/replaced. The service is very slow. So if you want to get your food faster, your best bet is to use the drive-through…It is ALWAYS faster. The coyotes are almost always there looking for french fries, so make sure you keep your eyes peeled!
It’s fast food, not much to brag about. If you go thru the drive thru and have a call in order, they want you to back up to reset their timer.
The past few months I've come here I've been repeatedly told (after waiting several minutes in line to order) that they have no chicken prepared so they aren't serving it. For me I don't really mind considering there are other options but sometimes it is irritating to have to guess whether or not they have anything to serve. Planning to be disappointed essentially. Would be more convenient for everyone's sake to just put a sign somewhere in the drive through of this location that indicates they aren't serving any chicken. Instead of having to tell each costumer individually that they aren't serving that item in particular and potentially being stuck in line regardless because someone comes up behind you!
Burgers and fries are always fresh and good, but you'll be waiting on an average of 10-15 PER ORDER. So if you have 3 or 4 cars in the drive-through line, then you better have some time! And don't think your slick going inside to beat the line you will have the same if not worst issue lol. But workers overall have been really nice and like I said food come out really good.

Normally I get what I paid for. This time I ordered the Texas double whopper. It took about 25 minutes to get my order. I had to hurry back to the shop and when I got my burger out I found out I had a whopper with cheese. Not happy at all. Check your order before you leave to make sure it's correct.
Drive through wait is terrible, one time alone I spent 20 minutes waiting in line for my order. Service is meh, and the food is not your average level BK. Dining area needs better upkeep. Always something broke at this location, last time was the soda machine. The other option that day was a milkshake but when they gave it to me the blender was broke so it was just ice cream with stuff on it. I was told to just stir it. Like I said service is less than professional. Oh and a warning about credit card info being stolen from this location was issued.
After we ordered our food we were stuck waiting for 20 minutes. The workers were arguing most of the time instead of preparing the food. When I received my food, it was cold.
Let me see if I got this right. At 10:55 on a Thursday after a new kitchen upgrade and being closed for a week this establishment accepts no coupons and has no “burger” meat” and they call themselves “Burger King” and refer to themselves as an American business. Sucks!

My husband went in and ordered me a number one, with a coke. That’s it. While he waited for my order he went over to the Popeyes counter and ordered himself lunch.. he received his Popeyes and still hadn’t received my order.. turns out they “forgot” about it and didn’t make it. lol Also if you’re going through the BK drive thru here, make sure you have 20-30 minutes to wait. It’s always slow
I can’t believe I saw a worked come in, not wash his hands, not put on gloves, and start serving food with his bare hands. Obviously there hasn’t been an inspection for food safety and handling in a while, the result is me ending up sick the very next day and having diarrhea. The onion rings were just straight up fried batter, I could not taste a single hint of onions and the French fries came out in the shape of the frying rack. Thank God I didn’t get the fries because they were all clumped up, oily, and did not look crispy at all. Not to mention the wait time being ridiculously long, but that’s because so many people come here, which is really surprising. Although the melts were pretty good.

Then they took what felt like 10-15 minutes arguing with this one girl, but she was eventually calmed down. But she was still talking bad about me. The best employee was this guy that was there. He was patient and kind unlike that other girl. The food is good, but other than that, naw.

This is by far the worst Burger King I have ever been to. They never get the order right and they're constantly running out of stuff. There is never enough staff to handle the workload for Ford Irwin. This place would be better off shutting down.
Perfect place to test every level of your patience. I've been going here for over 20 years because of the lack of options on post. The last year has been the worst. If you pull up to the speaker at 1205 you will be lucky to get out by 1245. The only guarantee is that something in the bag will be wrong or missing. The place seems fully staffed it just appears that absolutely nobody knows what they should be doing. Well besides Jesus, he's got it down. Not sure what her name is but there's one lady that has been consistently screwing up drive thru from hello to the bag hand off for the last 10+ years, not sure how or why she's still employed. Get it together BK. You're one of only 2 drive thru available to all of the employees on this base. EVERYONE deserves better than what you are providing.
Was super slow was half tempted in going behind the counter and making my sandwiches quicker. The guy at the counyer was very helpful he tried at least telling the workers hey hes been waiting for his order for a while now. But they were slow both times I went to this burgerking on post. If he isn't manager he needs to be and his first approved move should be hiring better cooks.
3mo later, the service improved, and sometimes how quickly the order is taken. Getting that order you still have to wait for them to quarter the meat in the back apparently.
I would prefer to leave zero stars but that isn't an option. I would highly advise against offering your patronage to this location. Staff is immature, inattentive and shows a complete disregard for customer service. On 05/31/24 at 1530 hours, I stood at the counter attempting to order for 12 and a half minutes without even being acknowledged by staff members, who were gathered in the food prep area, talking, laughing and complaining about not getting enough hours. Perhaps these employees will be scheduled more frequently if they were to show some initiative and not ignore customers. Unfortunately I had to leave without being able to order. Like everyone else on this base, but too have a schedule to keep. Unfortunately this particular establishment is not concerned with promptness or any discernable form of customer service.
Super long wait. They will just forget about your order even if you’re 1 of 2 customers in the lobby. Your sandwich will be made wrong at least three times.
Terrible. Takes forever everytime you try to order. Me and my wife sat there for 30 min waiting on food while the cooks sitting in the back chit chatting. They had no order in how they were doing things besides easy orders first and most if the time the food would sit in the warmer till they had 2-3 orders ready then they would bag it and leave it sitting on the counter.
This place takes forever to take your order and give you your food! This issue needs to get resolved ASAP! It’s supposed to be fast food! We show up to the window and our drink aren’t even ready
They always forget something in my order or mess my order up. They have their times of operation on the building, but they always decide to close early. The cashiers at the window are always rude and have an attitude. More than half the time, they dont have beef and only have chicken. The inside is always dirty and nasty. The tables never wiped down, and the soda fountain is always dirty and never has soda in it to begin with or when it does its too strong or too watery...
This was the first Burger King I’ve ever tried and as a result I thought all burger kings were absolute garbage. But then I tried Burger King again elsewhere and I was blown away by how bad this is in comparison. Extremely slow service, very bad quality
It takes about 30 minutes to receive your food sometimes even when its just you ordering and nobady in the drive thru either. Do I really need to say more I mean it should be alot faster especially since it's fully staffed.
I ordered a burger and some fries and I took 40 minutes to get my food. You are better off going to Popeyes they are way faster
Worst, slowest service I have ever dealt with. Not to mention the workers are not friendly at all. Where did all the good workers go? An empty restaurant and it took over 15 minutes to get a whopper junior meal. Won't be coming back.

If you've ever wanted to wait 3-5 business days to receive 2 Whopper Jr's without ketchup, look no further. This place is a gem. Imagine rolling up to a "fast food" restaurant and see only 2 cars at the window and an otherwise empty drive through thinking, "This should be quick." Spoiler: It wasn't quick. I sat at the drive thru speaker with no response for 5 minutes. Then I invite you to imagine the joy of spending another 3 minutes placing the order for 2 Whopper Jr's without ketchup, forced to repeat yourself in different ways to make sure that perfectly clear English was in fact being communicated extra super clearly. Then its time to pull around to the window where the same 2 cars are STILL sitting at the window. Another 10 minutes passes before I get to the window to pay. After paying for 2 Whopper Jr's without ketchup, I wish I could say the food was waiting for me. 2 Whopper Jr's without ketchup weren't anywhere near ready. It probably would have been faster to find a cow, turn it into hamburger, cook it, make bread for the buns and toast them, cut my vegetables, assemble the burger, wrap it, and serve it to myself. I might have even been able to squeeze in a nap. If you value your time, or plan to eat before your next PCS, please make better choices than I did on this day. I care about you, and I want you to spend time with your kids before they graduate high school. You'd likely miss the graduation while you are probably still sitting in this drive thru, with your tires melting to the pavement.

I tried patiently to get the front counter's attention but they will completely ignore you to prioritize taking orders and drive thru without so much as a simple acknowledgement. Probably the slowest fast food restaurant I’ve ever been to, waited 30 minutes. I should have ate out at a real restaurant. Trash cans overfilling, drive through backed up, trash everywhere, ice machine doesn’t work, no syrup, messing up people’s orders just so they have to wait 30 minutes for them to fix it. Must be a California thing.

I've had consistently bad experiences at this location over the past couple of years, and it comes down to poor attitudes, work ethic, and customer service. The staff seems untrained in basic skills like multitasking or using the drive-thru timer. Every time I’ve visited, I've been stuck waiting at the order screen until the car in front of me gets their food. Then, when I finally pull up to the window, I often hear employees chatting and laughing in the background instead of focusing on their job. On top of that, the service feels rushed. Multiple times, I’ve been cut off mid-order, given my total, and told to move to the next window before I’m even done ordering. I’ve had to tell them, "I’m not finished yet," even though I already know what I want and try to order as quickly as possible. I have years of experience in customer service, and I always make an effort to be respectful, but I’m met with rude or condescending attitudes, or worse, complete silence after each item I order. This isn’t a one-time thing, it’s been happening for years. Yet, I’ve seen employees go on social media to complain about how customers are rude, but the truth is, it’s often the other way around. While there might be a few rude customers, a lot of the time, it’s the employees who seem like they don’t want to be there. They often blame staff shortages, but when you go inside, you see plenty of people chatting away in the back. Very unprofessional. There are more issues I could mention like the constant issues at BK and their fellow neighbor Popeyes regarding Debit/Credit card skimming but the bottom line is that this location needs to improve its training and service. I'll definitely get in touch with a personal friend of mine who is a district manager for Burger King chains in LA county. Maybe we can get some secret shoppers over here to get them corrected. It's evident that no matter how many times residences here of Fort Irwin complain about their customer service, nothing ever changes. Customers are always right, that's just how things go with the customer service world.

WARNING!!!!DO NOT EAT HERE! If I could give negative stars I would. Ordered a whopper Jr. Duo meal and a honey mustard wrap at 12:03 i was rung up at the register. There were no customers in the lobby and there were maybe 5 vehicles in the drive thru i did not get my food until 12:45. When i asked about my order i was told we were waiting for a wrap. I do not know about other previous fast food experiences for other people, but this was the slowest, most unprofessional, and rude staff i have ever been in contact with in my life!
This Burger King operates like they work for the army. They’re completely inattentive to customers and prioritize the wrong things. I waited 5 minutes at the counter for them to tell me they were closed at 7 pm on a Saturday. Why?? Then ordering inside, I watched them fulfill 4 drive thru orders before a worker even came to the counter to take an order. I spent 20 MINUTES in a line of 2 people. They have 5 employees that I’ve see and only one working the actual food prep
