Awesome food, friendly service. The coconut burger, vegan chicken, vegan ice cream, and juices were all excellent. They also have a good selection of beer and wine and a nice courtyard. They have games for kids to play with and it's family-friendly. We'll be back.

A hidden treasure. I almost passed on this restaurant when I saw it from the outside. Inside is a relaxing courtyard surrounded by plants. The food is healthy and well presented. I had the power bowl which was delicious and was certainly sufficient even with my appetite. Definitely with visiting again.

Food is excellent, everything I've tried here has vern great so far. Been here about 4 times now and tried something new each time too. Service is pretty fast and staff is polite. They have a few beers and wine to choose from as well as teas and smoothies..

GBK is a place to be grateful for!!! Amazing vegan food. Something for everyone(something lean or comfort food). My non-vegan friends and family enjoy this delicious food too! I love the taco salad, my husband the Buffalo Tempeh, and my daughter the Impossible burger. So DELICIOUS!

Being someone that eats meat practically everyday and enjoys it, I was curious to try vegan food to see if it'd be something I'd be interested in. Surely enough, Green bar sold me on some great vegan burgers and I was happily surprised at how good it was. I went in to try a new kind of food, I didn't expect it to be a meat replacement but just it's own thing and I was satisfied. This place makes great food, there's a good ambience inside and outside. Very chill and a place that'll be going back to, to try the rest of the menu.

Great spot to go with friends! Been here a couple times because I don't eat meat and sometimes I crave a veggie burger ! And it's nice to go somewhere where non-vegan friends will also find the food satisfying! One thing is you need to order the sides separate and you order at the counter. So if you're like me and take a minute to decide figure out what you want before going in line :)

I have tried mostly everything here. Overall, it is a great little place. Everything is vegan I believe but most of it tastes just as good as the original if not better. The food and service is exceptional and I try to go as much as possible. Reasonably prices for the amount of food you get. Definitely worth a try if you are in the area!

This place is so yummy! The portions were perfectly filling! Even non-vegans will enjoy what they order. We got Avocado toast, Sweet fries, Coconut burger, & Udon noodle bowl. The burger was delicious!! The noodles were incredibly filling. I thought it was going to be a light dish -- it was SUPER filling. Delicious either way. We finished our meal with a cold brew and a cookie. They served us some french vanilla creamer on the side that was OUT OF THIS WORLD. Could have drank it as a dessert or dipped our cookie in it.

This is a vegan paradise! They are currently known for their coconut burger (Which is delicious). Everything is vegan and tasty with great service and an awesome atmosphere. It is almost secretly tucked away in a little plaza next to a Chinese take-out place. GPS will get you there, but you may have to look a bit if you haven't been yet. Try the...everything.

First time to this place. There was no wait and it was a cute place with seating inside and a nice outdoor patio place to sit. The menu was all vegan. I tried the fries which were very fresh and some of the best fries I have tried. I also had the coconut burger, OMG it was DELICIOUS!! Cant wait to try this place out again!

We ordered buffalo tempeh & blackened chickn tacos and had some fries. Food was creative and very tasty. Prices were reasonable for what you get. Parking lot right next to restaurant. Casual w/ seating outside patio. Order at counter and your food is brought to you. Will definitely come back again if we are in town.

Awesome food but one of the girls working this afternoon, 11/29, was incredibly rude to my family, myself, and other customers; no greeting, rolling her eyes, storming away to the back of the kitchen when I requested no pickles, horrible attitude, rushing our order while no one else was in line, etc. It took everything in me to not snap at her in front of everyone. We spent over $100 celebrating my birthday and she ruined the entire meal, we were all so upset. I support vegan restaurants being vegan myself, but I won't be back to this place. Update: the GM of the restaurant is taking care of the situation and making up for it. Thank you.

Amazing place and wonderful staff. The baha bowl was a customer rec, as we have never been before. It was amazing! The max and cheese was decent, not my favorite. Still good though. The Caesar wrap was fine, nothing special compared to the baha bowl.

I am not Vegan and I rarely eat veggies but their Veggie burgers are so good especially the coconut burger! One of my favorite is the Seattle Burger, tastes just like beef. They have great smoothies too and dessert :)

I had the impossible burger which tasted like i was eating meat. Not sure if i would return because they are a little pricey. But this is a decent spot if you are looking for vegan food.

Everything we had was great. The macaroni was Devine. The forbidden bowl was fresh and dull of flavor. Everyone was really friendly especially Adrian. Oh and the coconut ice cream Was delicious as well.

My husband and I were visiting the area and found this great vegan place, we’re always very excited and happy to try another vegan restaurant. Very friendly staff, plenty of choices on the menu, we picked a couple sandwiches and sides and were very satisfied, all delicious and good amount. The patio where we decided to sit was very comfy and peaceful, nice bamboo trees around it and little birds freely flying and singing while you eat. The ambience was wonderful. We love finding these little vegan gems when we travel or in our own town. We all need to support our small local businesses over big corporations!!

I had the pleasure of having the in house burger, the GBK. It was absolutely phenomenal! Great flavor, very filling and satisfying. If you are a lover of French fries, the fries are hand made and comparable to some burger and wing joints. They have outdoor seating which is beautifully decorated and shaded from the elements. If you are new to being vegan or trying more plant based eating, this restaurant should be a staple. Great food! Great service!

This is one of my favorite vegan restaurants in the area. I was so excited when they arrived. I've been in South Florida off and on for over 20 years, and it was very difficult to find a great vegan restaurant. This restaurant exceeds my expectations. As with all businesses, there are some opportunities for greatness, but overall, I love this place and the food. Most of the people that work there are very pleasant, and the food is usually fantastic. My favorite? I love the chick'n salad sandwich. Yummy!!! Also, if you're feeling for something a little sweet, try the key lime cupcake. To live for.

Wonderful restaurant!! I was in the area on New Years day and glad they were open. I felt like I was at a friends house for dinner. Everyone that works here is amazing. They are so passionate about the food and menu it makes for a wonderful experience. I had the Super Food salad which was great! Love the outdoor seating area. I'm looking forward to my return and have been telling my coworkers and friends.

Atmosphere here was great, happy people and good selections. Isn't it funny that vegan restaurants love having meat eating customers try them but when we go to other restaurants it's like people forget what vegetables are? Thank you for helping my uncle's lose their veg-inity. We liked the live music but would have preferred an outside seat not right next to it. Hopefully as veganism becomes more popular you can expand to accommodate more seating outside.

Highly recommend the coconut burger, bacon cheeseburger, blackened chickn Cesar wrap - delish! Couldn't leave without the brussel sprouts. Yum!

I honestly don’t know if I’d come to Fort Lauderdale at all if Green Bar & Kitchen wasn’t here. It’s literally that good! All their food is super great but the Brussels Sprouts are so ridiculously amazing. Everyone is always so nice here and they’ve got a great patio to relax and enjoy the tastiest vegan food (or all food) around. 🌱💚🌱

Holy Vegan Love!!!! I took my friend, total jerk about the whole thing blah blah blah I want real food...one bite of his coconut burger, he looked up and said "I'm so Sorry" HAHAHA This is my brand new go to place! I'm obsessed! We also got the creamy rich to die for mac and cheese and I loved every bite and so did he. The veggie bowl was yummy :) but way to much for me to finish. Lastly that kombucha tho! Get it. Haha

Green Bar Kitchen is gorgeous, friendly, and delicious! Walking in, the decor is very vibrant and young and the hosts are very patient. It was my first time there and I'm still getting comfortable with vegan menus so I took a minute to actually read all the items and decide what I wanted (which was a hard decision because everything looked and sounded amazing). I ended up ordering the Impossible Burger and a side of mac and cheese. Okay, this burger was DELICIOUS. I'm a meat eater, but I mostly eat a vegan based diet due to a dairy intolerance. Anyways, burger - amazing whether you're a meat eater or not. The mac and cheese was just okay. There was a mushroom bacon on top but it tasted slightly burned rather than smokey like bacon. The pasta was a little overcooked so maybe get a different side item!

The food was beyond delicious. I went on the recommendation of a friend from work. Went with two others and each of our plates so so delicious and filling. The price is right and the menu is so delicious we wanted to try everything!

Wow. I am super impressed by this place, the food is absolutely delicious. My mom ordered the coconut burger and I ordered the veggie bowl and a smoothie. Super delicious! However, I definitely think that the smoothie is a little too pricey!

I didn't think the food was gonna be good but it was really good. I had the sweet potato noodle bowl. I was pleasantly surprised.

Enjoyed all of the flavors in the Baja Bowl with added chick’n. It comes with cilantro rice, corn succotash, black bean, red cabbage slaw, avocado, chipotle aioli + roasted tomatillo salsa, and corn tortilla strips. The strips are a nice touch because it gives the bowl a crunchy texture. They have open air seating and a good sized menu. The burgers were my favorite back in the day and the desserts are on point as well. Had the oatmeal cookie that was moist and sweet.

Amazing. Had the sweet potato noodle bowl but was a bit disappointed as the amount of veggies weren't proportionate to the amount of noodles. For the price I would have like to have way more veggies. But still so good!

The loaded sweet potato fries and brussel sprouts were unreal. Perfect appetizer combo. The cheese sauce on the fries was so good. The eggplant Parm panini was a 1/10. The eggplant was tough as leather and the bread was dry and inedible. I wish I would've gotten something else. Chicken caeser wrap was also very good. I would go back but avoid the eggplant panini.

Fresh, healthy food at a reasonable price. Quick service, great customer service. Breakfast tacos were generously sized, well seasoned. I loved them even though I rarely eat vegetarian or vegan only restaurants.

This place is a total haven. I came here since I had to check out of my hotel by 1 but my flight wasn’t until evening and I needed a serene place to pass the afternoon. The decor is beautiful and the food is amazing. The beautiful cashier who took my order and served me was kind, hospitable, and amazing. They were okay w me sitting long after my food was gone and just hanging out until it was time for me to head to airport. Very kind, plus I fully support and Plant-based restaurant that is escaping the standard mold. Would 100% recommend to travelers

Pretty good vegan food, although it was a bit too salty even for someone who normally adds extra salt to everything. The loaded sweet potato fries were the winner. The outdoor patio was very cute, with a lot of plants. It is good for South Florida.

The green bar offers the “impossible burger” which is the burger that was created to look, taste and feel like actual meat. The burger was a total success! Along with the impossible burger, the Mac n cheese, coconut shredded burger and GBK deluxe burger were all very good. The design concept at the green bar is very luminous, clean, and uplifting! The back patito has a nice area to sit and enjoy the food. It was all very enjoyable and fun. Great experience!

I genuinely like the food. It's some of the best vegan fare you could ask for, and the infused water was delicious. The reason why I can only give this place a four star review is simple: cost. I ordered the Smokehouse BBQ burger, and it was great. Cooked well, topped well, dressed well....but if a place is going to charge $10-$11 for a vegan burger, it should come with a side. My burger showed up, and it was literally just the burger. My son's $5 chicken tenders at least came with carrots and celery. It may seem nitpicky, but I think even a side of veggie sticks would have made the price point seem better. $11 and all that came was the burger made me feel a bit overcharged. That being said, what I did receive was excellent.

Food was really good. Second time I had their food. This time I did take out due to everything that's going on and the guy was very professional with the mask and double bagged everything. I like the different types of variety if food that they have. The atmosphere is really awesome as well and they have a cool patio area to chill in if you prefer to sit outside. They have a lot of health options to choose from including their drinks.

Great Vegan place. The line was long and the food took some time but was understandable based on how big of crowd there was and time of day. Was a little pricey but worth every penny. Food was delicious and staff was friendly. Very clean inside. Drinks were outrageously priced though. I ate outside which was a cute area. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Loved this place and look forward to returning. Probably going to have to expand at some point.

This place is good but will be super busy during normal eating times. The staff is typically friendly, everything is made fresh so you will wait a little longer for your food. I only gave this place a 4 stars because it seems like almost every time I go in there they are out of the dish I go in for, the price you pay for fresh food. They also have a different menu on Sundays that was quite limited. Unless they have changed there smoothies bar closes earlier then the kitchen which means no milkshakes after a certain time.

The restaurant is nice and clean. The food is pretty good too, but I think a little pricey for what you get. They have the Impossible Burger, which is cool and new, and has been in the news, but I don't think it is worth the $12 price. And that's just for the burger, no fries or drink. I haven't tried their salads yet, but they look good. Definitely a place worth trying.

I was tricked into coming here. My girlfriend likes the vegan/veggie movement and didn't tell me where we were going. I'm the type to like a big fat greasy cheese burger, but I must say this Coconut Burger is awesome. It tastes like a great spicy chicken burger but is completely vegetarian. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Not a bad price.

What a lovely, shaded outdoor eating area. I also appreciate that they use real silverware instead of disposable. The GBK burger is delicious, though I do wish the grilled onions & mushrooms I ordered to top it had been warm. My husband really enjoyed the meatball sandwich. I also wish they had a separate fryer (or healthier air fryer)so that those of us who need to be gluten free can enjoy some fries as a side to their burger.

Been here twice. I didn't like my breakfast so much I ordered hash browns, came with toast. Wasn't special. I came back and ordered the coconut burger which I loved. It oozed with flavor, great price! Their smoothies are great.

Had the quinoa bowl with the sante fe sauce and sweet potato fries. Was super tasty definitely would reccomend. I have had a few other things here, not a fan of the veggie burgers they're all kind of dry. Salads are great and the bok choy dish is also good. They're a little on the pricey side as well, $18 for a quinoa bowl and a water. I've been a few times, if you're looking to go for good food and healthy it's a good spot.

Great food but so expensive! I paid $8 for these loaded fries. I feel like half the order was missing. Service is great and food is delicious but be ready for big prices and small portions.

What an amazing place just across the street from the hotel where I stay!! Great food options and atmosphere.. the only reason I’d give 4.5 stars instead of 5 is that the fries (sweet potatoes!!) where over done and when I asked for olive oil for my salad they didn’t have any.. Kinda basic for a vegan joint, but will definitely visit again on my next stay 😃

Great vegan food, juices and smoothies that would please non-vegetarians also. I had a Happy Hippie Smoothie made with spinach, spirulina, coconut water and topped with ground nuts. It was delicious, as were the Loaded Fries, Avocado Toast and Glass Noodles with vegetables and spicy sauce. They serve Kombucha on tap and have lots of juices available. They have several veggie burgers that are very popular. I am not a vegetarian, but everything that I ate was excellent. The loaded fries came with a vegan 'cheese sauce' and 'sausage' that tasted like dairy cheese sauce and pork sausage. They do a great job.

It is always sad when I am forced to write a sub 4 star review for a vegan restaurant. However, there is just too much against it for a 4 star. First, the front counter folks were not very enthusiastic. I'm always friendly forward and kind to everyone in the service industry. In response, the staff seemed very disinterested in our party. -0.5 stars for that. Next, I had ordered loaded nachos with chili. Unfortunately, they were out of chili. That happens, I understand but the walnut mix that was subbed for it was cold and did not mix well with a hot nacho. Additionally, when served, no silverware or napkins were given with the nachos which became an issue as the chips got soggy over time. The vegan cheese was pretty good, but overall very average vegan nachos. -0.5 stars. My partner ordered the fried "rice." This dish was very disappointing. It was quinoa not rice as noted on the menu, but there was only edamame, the the just egg, and broccoli. For a mixed veggie stir fry, we would definitely expect more veggie variety and it did not have thay fried rice texture. The sauce was sweet and over moistened the quinoa. -0.9 stars Lastly, their pre-pressed juices were good but cost $10 each small bottle. Comparable juice shops would give fresh juices for $6-$8 so definitely felt a bit high priced. -0.1 stars Overall, per the 3 star definition, this restaurant is "just okay" for us. We would not go out of our way to return.

Delicious food (very vegan and non-GMO friendly). Customer service was okay but needs more work on being more friendly and more welcoming to customers (especially first time customers). And providing customers with utensils after food arrives to the table should be a mandatory procedure (one must literally get up and get their own forks and knives). Really? Very nice environment (both indoor and outdoor) but their menu is very over-priced. I ordered two burgers w/ two coleslaw and two drinks (unsweetened tea). The fee was $45. Ridiculous! Would I go back to this restaurant? Probably not for a while. The establishment needs more work on their customer service and their over-priced menu. Good luck!

My favorite vegan restaurant. I love everything they have. I'm still dreaming of their mac and cheese. Edit: My original review was from 3 years ago. This used to be my favorite place but I had stopped going a while back because the quality of the food changed significantly. I used to love the mac and cheese but they changed suppliers (or at least that was the explanation they gave me when I asked why it tasted different). And, at the time they were the only place that offered the impossible burger in South Florida. Now that it's more popular, I expected their prices to change a little. I do hope to go back soon to try them out again.

Went on a Sunday afternoon before our flight. The staff were very very nice, kind, and helpful. The food was just okay. We ordered 2 impossible burgers (they have other house made burgers if that is what your interested in). They did not have oil, so no fries. We had a side salad and macaroni and cheese for sides. The house dressing was really good. The mac was bland. They have ice cream and desserts which was really nice. I had the lemon loaf cake and it was very good. I also tried the French toast. It comes topped with blueberry and blackberry compote. The toast was soggy in the middle due to the compote and the flavor overall was just okay.

Read the previous reviews with hopes of having a great meal. Disappointed....greasy fries and BBQ veggie burger was cold. Natasha refunded us for my hubby's veggie bowl because it was cold as well. They remade my veggie patty and fries but I couldn't get past the grease oozing out of them. We won't be returning. Nice location and patio but they need some quality control in the kitchen.

Where can I start, this place was amazing we had to beyond Burger, chicken sandwich, fries, chocolate cupcake, peanut butter with oats cookie and the marshmallow cookie. The food was great the french fries was from a Potato. The only thing with the food the beyond Patty Burger was smaller than the bun. The desserts I would give 1 star.. all of the desserts gave me a cake taste or a bread taste it may accommodate someone else tasting but it wasn't to my liking. The customer service was great the speed of the food to come out was an Average wait time.

I ordered the Impossible burger, it was good but a bit dry, like they squeezed it down while it was cooking to speed up the process but squeezed out all the juices. It came out way too fast after placing my to go order. I was handed my receipt wrapped around my card. My account was charged more than the total on the receipt. Very dishonest

I wrote the review below over a year ago, and I’m not sure what happened here between then and now, but the restaurant has changed and not for the better. They’ve eliminated half their menu and replaced many of their best dishes with mass-market products such as the Beyond and Impossible patties. Don’t get me wrong, I love Beyond and Impossible products, but I can get the same burger and fries for half the price at Burger King now. And every time I’ve gone in the last six months, they’ve been sold out of half their already depleted menu. It’s such a disappointment and a huge shame, especially considering they used to be THE BEST vegan restaurant in south Florida. I love this place. It’s menu is extensive, especially considering most places in the area have no vegan options. And the food is ah-mazing. Even my omnivorous family members love the coconut burger, the mac and cheeze is fantastic, and the new B.A.D. burger is to die for. It also constantly updates the menu, introducing new dishes, like burgers, bowls, and even soft serve and gelato, but keeping classic favorites. It is a bit pricey for a fast-casual restaurant, but I always go out of my way to eat here as often as I can.

Hit and miss. I've been here a few times. The bowls are great! Their cocowhip (coconut water ice cream) is also really good. The loaded fries are good too. We went today and only ordered loaded fries and regular fries. Simple order right? After a while they brought us the loaded fries. 10 minutes later still no regular fries! So either one of us would be done by the time the other one received their food, or the fries would get cold. That's unacceptable!! My husband had to go and ask for the other fries. I don't even feel like coming back any time soon.

Been there multiple times and the cashier/shift leader is always nice and accommodating but my last experience was tasteless, literally. First, they wouldn’t give me a straw because “they are only being used for smoothies”. Then, my boyfriend ordered the impossible burger after it was recommended by one of the waiters and didn’t like it because to be honest it was lacking in seasoning and taste.We spoke with the general manager and his response was to take the burger home and buy a different one half off because they can’t let an $11 burger go to waste. We even called in TWICE because my boyfriend was so upset and after leaving our name and number nobody ever got back to us. We have spent a lot of money there (over $30 every time) and didn’t feel like valued customers during our last visit. Food is great (for the most part) but won’t be going back! And someone else commented about some of the employees coming off as racist and I totally agree.

Been going for years but there’s been a noticeable decline in service and food quality ever since new management took over! I went on Saturday with my friend and the customer service experience was deplorable. Not only did I get charged for Sweet Potato fries of which they advised last minute that they were out of, but the Coconut Burger was served practically cold and the buns were burnt. Also, their complimentary infused water tasted terrible as it was not being properly maintained throughout the day and as of recently they started using plastic cups for all beverages as opposed to their former reuseable cups! Additionally, ever since I visited I have been having terrible stomach issues. It appears that the food may have been contaminated or mishandled and it gave me the stomach flu! I will not be going back!!

Skimpy portions and over priced. Taste was decent. Nothing worth going out of the way for. On my list of vegan restaurants not to go to.

I just left there. Pretty fast service. Loved the pancakes. My partner had the impossible burger and sweet potato fries. The burger was cool but the fries were burnt. Couldn’t eat about 80% of them. Therefore the low rating.

Food is good but they're having issues with their Acai bowls. They're missing most of the fruits what should be in it which makes me wonder if they put the other ingredients in it. Peanut butterbliss is seen below on the pics. Definitely doesn't worth the money compare to other Acai bowls at other places.

Honestly, I've came to Green Bar on numerous occasions over the years and this was my go to spot but after yesterday, I will no longer support this Green Bar establishment. The quality of the food had fell off tremendously! Not sure of management had changed or maybe the chefs but the food was not great! Also by being there at the time it opened and for the place to be as dirty as it was and for majority of the tables to be as dirty, led me to see that the staff did not clean the place up the night prior to closing. The restroom had a foul odor and was horrendous. And going back to the food, the fries were burnt, half were cooked, while another half was soggy, the bread for the meal we ordered was soggy and fell right apart and the taste was not that great. The staff were ok but the actual food experience was not great at all! I've been plant-based for quite sometime and as stated, I've been to Green Bar on numerous occasions and this time, it was devastatingly disappointing to a point to where I will no longer come to this establishment. What a shame... 😔

This was my second time to eat at Green Bar & Kitchen. My first visit was great--delicious! Yesterday however the Coconut burger was dry and cold. The bun was not warm- it was not a fresh bun. All buns should be heated--it makes the sandwiches taste better. I don't know if I will return. It is expensive to eat here--$30 for lunch!
