Jade Tea House Fort Lauderdale Reviews
Brilliant cafe. The staff were friendly and kind. We had spent a good morning before we headed to BRADGATE PARK.
Absolutely beautiful tea for two for a special occasion, we were sat in a bay window with a nice view. The food was freshly made with a perfect blend of sweet and savoury dishes. Our waitress was very pleasant and friendly but not overly so and left us to enjoy our tea. So much food we couldn't finish it all so they were perfectly happy to put it in a box for us to take home. Highly recommend.
Love popping in here for our coffee and cake fix. So many cakes to choose from too. 🙂
Ordered a picnic in advance. Was ready at the specified time, beautifully presented and a fabulous selection of sandwiches and cakes. And the cream scones were amazing! Very helpful friendly staff. Lots of hand sanitising posts and social distancing maintained in the queue and seating areas. Very relaxed atmosphere and fabulous food. Would highly recommend! Thank you ☺️
A lovely cozy place next to Bradgate Park which is a gem. The food is tasty, big portion, quick service and very reasonable price (around 7£ for a main course). They have a good menu and selection of cakes and drinks. Highly recommended.
From Essex to Newton Linford especially to have coffee and an amazing slice of home made cherry Bakewell tart and a generous slice of Carrot 🥕 Cake. Superb value beautifully made cakes and terrific staff. If you have eaten too much walk across the road to Bradgate Park. Enjoy
Lovely place to sit and relax , ,have a coffee ,food is great. .Also delicious cakes to eat in or take away.plenty of indoor and outdoor tables and a few under cover.

Fantastic location near the entrance to the beautiful Bradgate Park. Delicious home made food, teas and coffees. Cakes are a speciality - perfect place to replace lost calories after a bracing walk on the park.
Went for a cup of tea at Jade Tea Rooms today. Ended up have dinner and saved room for some of their delicious cake. Both the food and the service are outstanding would definitely recommend
Great tea room next to Bradgate park. Good quality fresh food.
Met up with friends and walked around Bradgate Park. Needed a drink and a quick bite called into Jade Tea Rooms table outside perfect and had a large piece of carrot cake and fully loaded hot chocolate delicious thank you
We cycle here regularly. The girl who served us has to be the fastest coffee maker in Leicestershire. Very friendly girl always makes us welcome
Scrambled eggs on toast and a coffee before a walk round the park, highly recommand this beautiful little tearoom, friendly staff, quick service and wonderfully prepared food
Very nice cafe for a quick bite to eat after a nice walk in Bradgate Park. Food selection was good and the cakes looked amazing, will definitely be going back.
My likey! Good staff, efficient service and nice to sit outside. Food was good, kids chicken nuggets were proper chicken, ploughman's was decent and a good cup of tea.
Lovely meals and cakes in a superb village setting, opposite Bradgate Park entrance.
Lovely cafe, with a great choice of food, drinks and amazing cakes. Helpful friendly staff, that Welcome walkers, cyclists and passers by.
Excellent experience every visit. Great food, great service and since changing the nachos to a better brand, now have an awesomely good chilli and nachos dish on the menu😋
Classic Tea room fresh quality delicious food served by wonderful smiling happy staff. A delightful winning combination 5 stars all the way.
Great place to relax and enjoy a meal with family. The outdoor patio is a great place to take in the outside beauty. Great service and food.
Fantastic place for the best tasting food, cakes and drinks. Staff are friendly and welcoming and the decor is beautiful.
Great coffee and great cake. Swift service and nice friendly staff, really good choice on the menu.
Great café, scones are unbeatable. Staff are friendly and has a nice atmosphere, there is generally plenty of seating.

Excellent home made scones. Friendly staff that make you most welcome. Great location opposite Bradgate park entrance
Excellent place for lunch after a walk in the park. Reasonably priced and a good choice. Excellent tempting cakes.
Good selection of offerings, friendly staff.
Love this place, opposite Bradgate Park entrance! Great food, cakes, coffee and tea all provided by really nice people. Shared a GORGEOUS scone and being a bit peckish a Florentine with my wife today.... REALLY nice, both washed down with a tasty latte!
Excellent!! Been coming here since I was a nipper!! That says it all. If it wasn't good, I'd go elsewhere! The ladies (+ the occasional gentleman) are always polite & helpful. Food is fresh & hot (where necessary) and it's clean & tidy The building is compact in size, therefore you can't expect superfast service! You go to the countryside to chill, SO CHILL!!🤣🤣
Lovely place, great service, food was delicious, not over priced just a lovely place can't wait to go back again. You can also take your dogs in as well if your on a doggy walk. Lovely atmosphere:) you can park outside for up to half hour or you can park in Bradgate park and then take a stroll round. Perfect!!
Quality delicious food at a reasonable price in a lovely setting - the cakes are amazing!
Been coming here for decades. Food and drinks are always top tier and staff are really friendly. Great place to bring dogs too. Room to sit outside with a covered area out the back and right opposite Bradgate Park.
Always finish up our walks in Bradgate Park with a visit to Jade Tea Rooms! The cakes are wonderful and I think I've tried most of them over the years. Yes there is sometimes a bit of a queue at peak times but not excessive. Staff are pleasant even when very busy. Reliably good.
Great food, lovely friendly staff. Cakes are just amazing! Very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
We had a prawn in Marie Rose with salad in a sandwich and Tuna Mayo and salad sandwich. They came with coleslaw and they were very tasty. We also had 2 very nice lattes.
Visited today after a lovely walk, sat outside with our dog, 2 mugs of tea, a toasted tea cake and a florentine cake. All tasted lovely, staff very pleasant helpful & speedy and there are bowls outside with water for dogs. Would definitely recommend.
The food was beautiful. Everyone was really helpful as I went with my parents and there both in wheelchairs. It was lovely as it was wheelchair friendly and we will definitely be going back.
We love Jade tea rooms and almost always visit when out walking or riding in and around the area. They serve the best flat white and delicious cakes, staff are friendly, efficient and very welcoming. If it's a sunny day it is lovely to sit outside overlooking Newtown Linford church and watching the world go by. There are some very cheeky little sparrows who will be waiting close by to pick at any crumbs you may drop 😊 definitely worth a visit.
Great food, good service and plenty to choose from. Everything is in place to keep you safe in these strange times with Covid-19 around. One way system for ordering, hand sanitiser provided and the menu's are wiped after each use.
This place is lovely and so are the staff. We visit With Mum who struggles to walk and so uses a Frame. Georgie is fab and always manages to find us a spot to sit.....thanks your our Bradgate Star. Viv and Pete ( from St Pancras)
So glad this place is back open, had a lovely lunch with the family today, the ploughman's was up to the usual high standard and the cakes are the best in the county, hands down, great service as well!! Welcome back jade tea rooms x
The food was delicious we had a BLT sandwich and cakes they were delicious, the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble, good value for money well worth a visit.
Situated opposite Bradgate Park CP. Some street parking. Cheapest of 3 in a row. Soup, sandwiches, cake. Popular. Ok for well behaved kids and dogs. Dicky birds come to the tables. Popular.
Wonderful friendly service and amazing cakes. We had lunch and cake. Delicious. We're never disappointed. Jade Tea Rooms is our favourite lunch spot.
Cosy inside and outside eating and excellent value. Best scones in the county - with cream and jam and a pot of tea. Bradgate Park is a long drive for me and the wife, but tea and scones at the Jade tea rooms makes the trip well worthwhile.
Just visited, sat under cover outside. The soup (cauliflower and cheese) was superb. Excellent value.
Food good, reasonable prices, lovely staff
Lovely cafe my new stop off after a lovley walk around the park. Fruit scones are beautiful. All the cakes look so nice. The Staff are all very friendly and happy.
Lovely cakes, very friendly staff, smiles all round, would recommend this tea room
Delicious cakes and scones and very friendly service
I arrived 20 minutes before closing time as Jade Tea Rooms was recommended by my daughter. The staff were so welcoming, warm and friendly. The cake was delicious and all tastes are catered for, a good cup of coffee was drank too. Plenty of food options to choose from at a reasonable price. Jade's is just over the road from Bradgate Park's car park. If you want friendly welcoming staff in lovely clean venue then make the small trip across the road. I can't wait to visit again soon.
Great choice for lunch, paninis, salads, omelettes etc. Beautiful cakes and bakes. Probably home made. Great place to meet friends. Nice coffee, smoothies etc. Back dining area and upstairs could do with a bit of TLC , just a bit lacking of personality. Nice outdoor seating in good weather and dog friendly.
It was busy but friendly, small rooms and not crowded. Their are male and female toilets on the ground floor so easily accessible. There is a steep ramp or two tall steps to enter. Cakes looked excellent with great gluten free florenteens.
Best cafe around except for dive bombing birds and wasps. But you must try the Yorkshire rarebit and the cakes are divine. Reasonable prices still compared to others in the area. Edit: dropping some stars as they refused to make right a stale half of a teacakes. Shame!
It's a good place to have a snack after a walk around bradgate, I have eaten at the jade tea room twice and a few times for coffee and cake The food is really really good and the cakes are delicious and good selection, friendly polite staff over all brilliant place to eat!! Also Good coffee*****
This place is doing it rite lovely food staff are great cheese &ham toasties real ham &real cheese not plastic stuff &a bit of salad would defo go back
I use this amazing friendly tea room quite regularly. The staff are so friendly and professional. The drinks selection is brilliant ( even my decaf latte is not a problem) I go with my daughters and mrs regularly and we are never disappointed. Keep up the fantastic job ladies 🙏🏽 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Always had good tasty snacky food here. Always happy staff, very polite and smiley.. lovely quaint café....
Very friendly staff, lovely cooked chicken burger, home made slaw, chips, all very hot. Lovely pot tea. Sat outside with our dogs, weather very nice completed a great day out including Bradgate Park.
Visited Jade Tea Rooms with colleagues for a hot drink and cake. Large variety of drinks and delicious cakes (big portions also). We ordered a lot at once and were served efficiently and with a smile. Nothing felt too much trouble. Would highly recommend, thank you!
Went for a lovely walk. Came here for the best food and coffee. Ruby and Gracie were a credit to the Tea rooms! Thanks!
Great little find just across from the park. Jacket potato with tuna and mayonnaise on the side - just perfect and a delicious toastie, both served with salad. Pot of tea and lemonade completed a fab lunch. Somehow resisted the cakes, which looked gorgeous, but that gives us a reason to return. Staff were friendly, efficient and polite.
Great Tea Room opposite Bradgate Park, fantastic cakes and good value.
Delicious, excellent range of homemade cake. Friendly service. Definitely come again
Fantastic establishment, lovely food and great staff.
A lovely cafe situated just outside Bradgate Park, beautiful location and lovely decorated cafe. Quite a good menus with hot food and cakes with coffees. Decent prices considering where it is. Some free street parking spaces, including disabled parking, only 30 minutes, will get an hour free street parking when walk a couple minutes further. There are a few steps to get in the cafe, can be difficult for some people, there are tables and chairs outside in their garden.
Lovely cosy coffee shop, delicious & amazing cakes & coffee 😍would highly reccomend. the coffee is so good here, and for a latte & huge mini egg cookie it only cost me £5. Great value for money.
This cafe is perfectly situated directly outside entrance of Bradgate park. Nearby parking is available on the street in white marked bays, 1 hour maximum. For lunch, we ordered a cheese + onion toastie and the soup of the day (cauliflower and cheese). Both well made and served in reasonable time. For the sweet stuff the cream scone was delicious, although a massive portion! The cherry Bakewell tart was delicious, however the layer of icing was a little too thick for my liking making it nearly sickly overly sweet to eat. Overall, definitely recommend a visit here, especially when visiting the Bradgate park as one of Leicestershire’s best attractions.
A nice tea room with indoor and outdoor seating, located right opposite the main entrance to Bradgate Park. Prices are reasonable and the food was nice and tasty, the service was cheerful and efficient.
A most excellent mackerel salad followed by date and apricot slice with whipped cream very highly recommended. Very good coffee and friendly staff. Afternoon tea there also excellent. In fact cannot fault the food at all. Unfortunately very cold place in the winter so wear your coat on cold days! Very animal friendly.
the girl serving was 1st class but it was very busy and i think when that busy she should have hadva help what i saw was 2 people taking limited amount of food out 1 would be enough while 2 taking orders plus getting drinks the girl serving was 5 star !!!
Very well organised during vivid 19. Masks worn food delivered promptly and safely. As soon as we stood up and left table and chairs wiped down by staff member.
Lovely service, great breakfast and hot drinks, well priced too considering its location, only downside is it was a touch cold up stairs but not enough to put us off
Very busy tea room right on the entrance to Bradgate Park serving good quality beverages, food and cakes. Very reasonably priced. Happy to recommend.
Lovely food , fair price. Set in a nice spot . Chia latte bit of a let down watery and quite tasteless so will give a miss in future.
Would have been better if the toast wasn't burnt The butter,as it was,on the side,no napkins But look at the menu About £3 quid for a side order of chips but £7 for cheese chips We may pay more for the scenery but not that much
Had the afternoon tea. Reasonable price plenty there and good cakes and scone. Only gripe was there was only 3 different sandwich types we had 3 egg n cress 3 cheese and cucumber and 2 ham tomato. Bit boring really... Good bread though.
Pleasant tea time with family. Very nice and well presented cakes. Tasty English breakfast tea but scones came with butter and apricot jam, not cream and strawberries, a little disappointed. We were very late and seated 20mins before close, staff were very polite about it. We then moved on it the picturesque park situated directly opposite.
Love this tea room & now they have more tables outside to sit in the sun lovely. My one fault hence I don't give 5* is that they only have one gluten free cake option which I don't like! Delicious hot chocolate though!
Got take-away Christmas panini and ate it across the road at Bradgate Park. Staff very friendly and efficient. Good Covid system in place and food nice and tasty. Lots of choices of hot drinks - including a menu of interesting hot chocolates to try. Nice to see a local business doing ok and getting support of customers
Good selection of hot food, brilliant selection of cakes pies and tarts on the front counter. (Behind glass!) Worth a look after a visit to Bradgate Park, which is opposite The Jade. Popular with young mums, cyclists, dog walkers, families etc etc!
A lovely place to stop of once you have finished your walk in bradgate park. The staff are cheerful and friendly. The food was really good with nobody hassling you. I be back there soon. Would recommend this place to everyone.
We always find a reason to visit when we go to Bradgate Park.
Really enjoy this place. We’ve been here often, and always had a great experience. The food has always been great, whether that be breakfast or lunch, and staff always friendly and polite. Most times, parking is nice and easy with street parking, but there is always Bradgate if need be. Their coffee’s are machine based so kinda weak, but overall, enjoy coming here.
Tea room & Cafe by the entrance to Bradgate Park, so does get busy. Tables upstairs and down and outside. Service wasn't great and portion wasn't generous, but it was late Sunday afternoon and think they were recovering from a busy lunchtime. Cakes looked nice.
I visited after a dog walk with my wife. We ordered 2 ham and cheese plough man's sandwiches for £7 each. Distinctly average unfortunately and at odds with the beautiful surroundings of Bradgate Park. The ham and cheese was of the pre-sliced variety and pretty tasteless. There was a suggestion of pickle somewhere in there but the salad was limited to a slack handful of iceberg lettuce and a few slices of tomato. I suspect that I had margarine on my sandwich too. What I thought I was going to get was a sandwich with decent wedges of a local crumbly cheddar, packed full of flavour, so I was disappointed as you might expect. Not really what you want after a walk around Bradgate.
Very pleasant cafe. Fabulous home made cakes that never disappoint. The staff are friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is one of a family club that always makes you welcome with high standards of service . It is also aimed at walkers and dog walkers.
Been here quite a lot over the past few years. Visited with a friend recently & had the halloumi burger. Was okay. When we had our food brought to our table (we were sat outside round the corner), the lady put our food down and continued to walk off. I asked if I could have some sauce and some salt. She replied with ‘can you go inside and get some as we’re really busy today’. I think this is such bad customer service. Can understand they were busy but when I went in to order the food, was the only one in the queue. I just think, no matter how busy you are, could you not have nipped in to get some sauce or even ask if we needed anything else.
The cakes here are very good but the outside area isn't great (compared to the other cafes nearby) and whilst one member of staff was lovely another serving us food was quite rude.
Me respondió: «¿Puede entrar a buscarlas?
Large breakfast doesn’t even come with toms which is always standard, bacon was hard by being re cooked, sausage tasted like it was in the turn, toast was rock hard, went to 3 tables all wobbly nearly spilling tea, and the most lifeless room Iv spent time in no atmosphere what so ever.
Racist or plain rude, we'll never know. Both myself, Indian, and my friend, who is English, went in with our babies at the same time and recieved completely different treatment. I got told where I could find the high chairs when asked if we could have two. Whilst she was helped to get hers. She got her tray of hot drinks brought to the table whilst I was offered no such kindness and didn't evem get asked if I needed a hand. She had her baby in a carrier so had both hands free and I had my little one, who is learning to walk, either in my arms or holding his one hand whilst balancing a tray in the other. When, who I assume is the manager or owner, came out she wasn't interested in hearing what I had to say. She did, however, ask my friend if she was OK. Strange as it was myself who was saying I felt so bad being in the establishment I just wanted my money back so I could leave. Sad really. The employee said, when I asked her why the above had occured, that she couldn't have helped me as there was someone waiting to be served.... well, there was also someone waiting to be served after my friend so that argument holds no weight...
