My boyfriend and I reserved a table for 6 to celebrate his birthday. I must say, everything was excellent. The execution in the kitchen couldn’t have been better. The ambiance is fancy yet comfortable. The service was probably the best part, our server Sebastian has taken our dining experience to another level his attention to detail in serving us was the highlight of our night. We can’t thank him enough. I recommend this restaurant 100%. S/N: the parking is only valet, complimentary and quick service.

What a wonderful birthday dinner. The staff were great and especially our waiter Antony, who went the extra mile to make it a special evening. The quality of the food is everything you would expect of a restaurant at this price range. Leave some room for desert as they are just amazing. I must mention the great sangria's as well.

I'm from Chicago and we went to Celebrate my Honey's Bday in Fort Lauderdale at Ruth's Chris. The Service and Food was Exceptionally Amazing! It's been 2wks and I'm still talking about it!!!! We were treated and felt like a King & Queen! Can't wait to go back SOON!!🥰

The staff here go out of their way to be sure your dining experience is fabulous. The food is always delicious and beautifully plated. The special event wine dinners are over-the-top exceptional. Wonderful way to spend an evening with like-minded people. Friendships can be made here.

The steak is so tender and succulent. The atmosphere is feels pleasantly personal. The service is excellent. Loved the extra touch the staff made to create a perfect romantic anniversary for us.

From the valet to the end of the meal, Perfect! Our food was marvelous, our waiter, although busy was attentive and fun, they made my birthday such a great occasion, and I can't wait to go back.

The food here was amazing. The steak (cowboy ribeye) was juicy and flavorful and the portions of the side dishes (lobster mac & cheese) were large enough to share (if you'd like). I also had a pomegranate martini that was amazing. Long story short ... I had a great meal and the service was worth every cent of the tip.

HULK SMASHED!!!... The food looked so good we forgot to take pic b4 we started eating. Miguel our waiter was absolutely WONDERFUL. We ordered Ceasars Salad, Porterhouse steak 4 2, loaded baked potato & Asparagus. Everything was DELICIOUS. Could not have asked for a more perfect meal. Price was as expected but worth every bite. 😉 our anniversary.

My dear friend Rick celebrated its 75th birthday with close friends and family at Ruth's Chris Steak House. It was absolutely a wonderful affair with delicious food outstanding service and a great atmosphere. There was not a scrap of food left on any of the plates and that's how you can tell the party was a huge success. Ruth's Chris Steak House has always been one of my favorite restaurant to celebrate important dates ❤️🍾🎈

I love the service this steakhouse provides. Came here for celebration must say I was happy from Appetizers to salad to main dishes and which by the way if you like salad you must try the Caesar salad is a most delicious Version you will ever have this restaurant makes it the best. Ken was amazing . His attention to detail and his explanation on the menu and what to expect. Our experience was wonderful for our first time, we had multiple mangers come up to our booth and say happy anniversary it felt nice. We had a complementary dessert with “happy 5 year anniversary “ written on the plate. This was definitely worth every penny. Ken we will be back.

Today was me and my hubby anniversary and we decided to go Ruth Chris Ft Lauderdale. All I can say is Phenomenal amazing perfect service!!! Our server Ken was so amazing and made our night so memorable!! I’m truly impressed with how wonderful our night went at this location. The food was good to perfection, the atmosphere was nice and very pleasant, KEN was friendly, reliable, fast, knowledgeable of the menu, catering, etc! The manager Sebastian came over personally to our table to check in with and welcome us, he was so pleasant. Overall we had a marvelous anniversary night! Thanks again Ruth Chris and especially Ken!

My husband and I went there for our 3rd anniversary. The customer service was tip tier. The waitress Jennipher was very knowledgeable about the menu and food options. The food was top tier as well, and heated to the right temperature. Lots of flavor in the food. We will most definitely be back again.

We eat here probably 10 times a year but always go for our anniversary. They really make it special.

It was an excellent experience as if you get Jennifer as your server, you will have an opportunity to deal with one of their most respectful and helpful staff members. The delectable items were as many Ruth Chris...at a high level. So if you are coming to the Fort Lauderdale area and you are a patron of Ruth Chris then you will not be disappointed!

First time Ruth Chris and it did not disappoint. Food was amazing. Well seasoned and fresh. I enjoyed my meal. Service was great, Pam was our server and she was friendly and attentive. She noticed it was my bday and brought out a cake which I thought was super sweet. Loved the look of the restaurant.Def will return

The Universe rewards positivity. I do a positive restaurant review for Steakhouse 38 recently. Today I think about a tasty dessert before I call it a night. The Universe delivers an entire bag of tasty desserts from Ruth's Chris out of thin air. Yes, The Law of Attraction/Creation is very real. Thoughts become physical objects on our 5D Earth.

Enjoyed myself and food! Had visited from Chicago and had an anniversary. Loved the lobster Mac n cheese even tho I hate anything sea food so that’s a plus. I also liked the Caesar salad and my husband loved the lobster bisque. My steak did come out sizzling and when they put my plate down it cracked so they had to take it back and get a new one. I never seen that happen but it’s ok. My steak was exceptional nothing great as I thought it would be, since I’ve heard a lot about this place.

Never disappointed when we have dinner at Ruth’s Chris. Started with a delicious Pomegranate Martini then indulged in a few appetizers; calamari, bbq shrimp, goat cheese artichoke dip, all very yummy. For dinner we enjoyed perfectly cooked filet mignon, crab cakes, and sea bass, with asparagus, garlic mashed potatoes, and of course the sweet potato casserole. Our server, Ken, was terrific! Already looking forward to our return.

I enjoyed my visit with Family. The waitress was amazing. I can't recall her name at the moment, but she was. The staff doesn't do a lot of smiling, but they are polite. The food was delicious. My partner and I both ordered the ribeye, which mine tasted burned yet still good, but my Partners was delicious as it held so much flavor that mine lacked. Both were cooked medium well and it was perfect. My sister and neice ordered the stuffed chicken, which was also very good. And my Nephew ordered the lamb chops, and he said they were very good. The mashed potatoes are amazing, and lobster mac was ok. If you like lobster, then it's ok, I didn't like the taste of the lobster in ours. The Mac n cheese was pretty good, tho. Can't wait to go back. The portions are large, so the sides were shared around the table.

We were headed to a restaurant near by when we decided to pivot and stopped in for dinner on a Monday night. It had been a long time for us both, since we’d been in for dinner. I had the wedge salad to start, then the Chilean Sea Bass w/ lobster tail. He went for the crab cakes, baked potato and asparagus. Everything was delicious! Best part was the service; Ken was personable and friendly. He made the dining experience more enjoyable.

TOMAHAWK RIBEYE, SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE, LOBSTER MAC & CHEESE WAS AMAZING GREAT FLAVOR. I would come here again it was worth it.

Everytime i want to celebrate a special day or just treat myself and family to a great dinner i trust ruths chris is worth every penny Today was my first time back in about a year Maggie was my server she did a flawless job and was so sweet, jay the manager had the kitchen cut up the 40oz steak I shared with my cousin (it was cooked perfect). The food is great, the staff is great. I cant go to any other steak restuarant nothing compares

From the moment we arrived smiles 😃 from all the staff very welcoming, very clean and well organized. We were blessed to have Tara as are server and she was very nice and engaging seeing that this was our first time to Ruth's Chris! Telling us about the love and care that goes into there amazing 👏 food and most importantly HOTT plate the Ribeyes came out on a sizzling plate and was simply a work of art . The sweet potato casserole as my side was equally as delicious. Again I must say Tara is genuine, friendly, great personality, charming young lady and she was a breath of fresh air especially in today's hustle and bustle like service industry. Lol 😆 and remember Hott plate sizzling steak and butter 🧈 what carnivore dreams are made of . 👍👍

Excellent Ruth Chris as always. We had waiter “Tommy” who has been working for many years at Ruth Chris as well as the staff. Food, bar before hand was great. It is nice place for a special occasion or just a night out with friends. Make sure if parking to just use the valet service. Many parking lots near by have parking restrictions that can have your car towed and in one case we saw booted. Just stay with Ruth Chris valet and you have peace of mind.

If you are a steak connoisseur or a lover of steak, RUTH CHRIS is where you want to go! Made reservations online for my husband's birthday. When we arrived our table was lighted and decorated for his birthday. It even included a card wishing him a happy birthday. Our server was gracious, knowledgeable (it was our first time here) and attentive. Food was cooked as we asked and it was delicious! My husband is a steak man, he enjoyed the Cowboy Ribeye medium. I enjoyed the lamb chops, well done. Made his birthday unforgettable and we look forward to returning soon.

Went 12/12/2021 for a birthday dinner and I had the best steak I’ve ever had by far. The price is high but it’s worth it for a nice dinner every once in a while. The crab cakes were to die for as well, will be back again!

Good steaks and even better lobster. Surprisingly some of the best lobster we’ve had and would easily come back just for lobster. Food comes out on sizzling hot plates. All around an enjoyable meal. Wouldn’t get the lobster bisque again though.

Everything was so good and delicious on my son's bday. The food was excellent, you got steaks, and seafood and both was cooked and serve the right way. I will be back in the next opportunity.

This was my second visit and once again they didn't disappoint. I got the arugula and spinach salad and the stuffed chicken breast with garlic mashed potatoes, all were phenomenal. I would most definitely recommend Ruth's Chris to anyone looking for a good meal with excellent service.

We came here for christmas 2018 ......and between the friendly welcoming staff and the mouth watering food, we were more than happy with our experience. We will definately be visiting the portland oregon location once per month.

Just had an amazing dinner at Ruth’s Chris. Never been here before but the petite filet rare plus prepared Pittsburgh style was absolutely incredible. Sweet potato casserole was a highlight as well. Patrick our waiter was one of the best servers we have ever had. He really made it a great experience. Definitely will be back, and we will ask for Patrick!

This restaurant never disappoints. I'm not a steak eater but the chicken is some of the best that I've ever had. They still bring it to you with the butter that you can hear from around the corner. We also had excellent appetizers. The waiter was quick and attentive. All of these made for visit that was memorable and we will be back.

Consistently good service and food. The Cosmo and the lemon drop were fantastic so was the fillet and the stuffed chicken. As always make sure you bring a sweater because they keep a place extra cold.

Nice, intimate dining room. NY strip, mashed potatoes, au gratin potatoes, Brussels, and old fashioneds were phenominal. Not the greatest meal I've had, but very much justifies the price. I would 100% be back for a nice date night or customer outing

food was great, drinks were strong, atmosphere was nice, clean restaurant and danielle provided exceptional service. my only complaint is when we were being seated one of the hosts (or floor managers) asked a member of my party to remove their hat, which is respectful of the environment, except when we walked in the dining area A total of 5 men at different tables had hats on and were not spoken too about it for the duration of their service. If this is going to be protocol, ensure that this rule is enforced to ALL patrons in the restaurant not just the those who management choose to single out.

This is an a la carte style restaurant so be aware that your order is individual food choices. Food is good steak house style.

One of the things that stood out for me the most during my dinner at this place was the outstanding service (which I automatically expect from a restaurant at this price point)....However, it is worth the mention. Our food also came out at the right time, not too soon, not too late. The steaks were very nicely cooked, tender, and with great flavor. I believe the only area where this place fell a bit short was in the decor. The carpets and look overall seemed a bit tired and dated as compared to other places at a much lower price point. Overall, it was a good experience and worth trying at least once.

I'm going to start with why I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5. The first thing I noticed walking in was the weird smell from the carpet. I guess you kinda get used to it after sitting for a while but it was very noticeable at first. 🥴 The second being the food was great but overpriced... This was my birthday dinner and it was our first time at Ruths Chris. we had so many things off the menu, crab cakes, lettuce wedge, lobster mac and cheese, the tomahawk steak and a few other things. The food was very good so I'm not upset about spending the money. I went more socfor the experience of having really good quality food. Another thing I noticed was the food portions were sharable. At least for 2|3 people max so that's also a plus for the price. The Blueberry Mojito was great, I had 2. What I really enjoyed was their bread and butter!!!! I wanted to take the butter home, it was whipped and salty OMG AND warm!! delicious, the bread won me over 🙂

My husband took me to dinner to celebrate completing my doctorate degree. Our server Danielle made the evening all the more special. She made excellent recommendations on food choices (we had the blue cheese wedge salad, sweet potato casserole, and cowboy ribeye) and helped customize our drinks (highly recommend the blueberry mojito, a little extra sweet). Not only was Danielle attentive and personable, but she acknowledged the celebration with a sweet gesture of surprise dessert. We would return just to sit in her section and enjoy her fine quality service!

This restaurant chain never disappoints. The food is delicious and the service is impeccable. Our steaks were a tiny bit over cooked, however, still tender and seasoned to perfection. The lobster bisque is a must and the Cesar salad is lovely. Finish your meal with a creme brulee or bread pudding and you will roll out the restaurant in glee. The only thing I didn't care for was the valet for parking. You have no choice.

Service was very attentive and good. Restaurant is very clean. Old school. Food was generally good, but that's all.

Took my nephew (6yr) and fulfilled wish to have birthday "somewhere 5 star so I can dress up". I was only person in party that doesn't eat meat. Asked the server what options available and was pleased to hear they offer platter for vegetarians to enjoy too.

Had Thanksgiving dinner. Placed was slammed, so I'm fine waiting longer than normal. My partner & I had rhe same Turkey dinner. His came out hot, mine was lukewarm. I was so hungry, I just decided to eat it. Portions were "ok", trick is to eat & order more bread. Meal came to $125 doe 2 dinners, 1 cocktail & 1 coke. $$$

Unexpectally expensive!! When we first came in, they asked if we had reservation. We did not, but we got seated. The place was empty, but to started fill up. We came for hamburgers and the menu did not have any and the waitress did not mention or suggest the bar menu where the burgers were. We ended up taking one to go for the night. Prices are high, music a little bit loud. Crab cakes were very good and plate was hot until the end. My Salad was fresh and dressing was good. Mash potatoes were from the box no lumps or skin in them aka( Cisco). Spinach too!servers were very attentive. We could have eaten better at another steakhouse for the amount spent. I could have had a nice steak for the price of 3 Crab cakes. Never again!!!

This has to be the worst Ruth Chris I’ve tried so far. I visit Ruth Chris often in different cities that I travel to. I have yet to find one that matches or tops the Jacksonville Riverwalk location. The steaks were dry, not seasoned well, and tough. Even the spicy shrimp appetizer was bland. I gave 3 stars because the service was good and the ambiance was great. Would not visit this location again.

There is plenty of hype around this place. Overall it was just okay. It was nothing over the top. My wife got the filet and I had crab cakes. It was good food but for me it was nothing special. We got sprouts and mashed potatoes for our side. The sides were cold and weren’t a fan . The dessert was the highlight of the meal. Glad I tried this place, but don’t see myself coming again.

We went here on a Friday with a party of 17 for a friend’s birthday. 8pm reservations. The service was very slow. I think at one point someone in the party requested bread and we waited roughly 20 minutes until it was brought out. The restaurant was not busy at this time. The server got my order wrong but I still enjoyed it. I ordered a 16 oz ny strip and was brought a 19 Oz bone in. The steak was cooked to perfection and it was truly delicious. The mashed potatoes were good but nothing crazy. Everyone in our party was sweating toward the end and we heard the staff mention the ac wasn’t functioning correctly. We were here roughly 3.5 hours. Overall the food was very good but the service left a little to be desired paired with the unfortunate air conditioning issue. First and last time but I did like my steak.

I’ve always heard great things about the restaurant but it didn’t live up to my expectations. Valet was efficient so no complaints Service was extremely slow. Our waitress was nice but not as attentive as we observed the others to be. Manager seemed to be doing his rounds but more so to criticize the work of his employees versus heighten the service and experience. Food was delicious but unremarkable Atmosphere was very laid back with other patrons surprisingly wearing ripped jeans and bodycon dresses. Would not return unless invited out.

Food was better my first time. Crab cakes were burnt at the bottom and lobster Mac lacked flavoring. Our waitress was amazing and knowledgeable.

We've been to many RC's around the country. First time at this ft. Lauderdale location. We often go to RC on Thanksgiving, as we did this time. But this trip was a bit of a disappointment. Our Cesar salads had too much dressing and became limp before we could finish them. Entries were served on unheated plates, which made the food cold half way through. Otherwise the service was great and the food tasted good too.

Happy hour is not the same. I ordered steak sandwich, which is usually absolutely delicious but they decide to go with a cheaper hoagie bread and a cheaper fry and the fries were so spicy. They used to be delicious and used to taste like homemade bread too hard, but the service was fantastic. The guy at the bar was fantastic. The doorman was fantastic. Held the door open for me and the valet was excellent

The service at this restaurant was absolutely immaculate--truly one of the highlights of the entire experience. From the moment we were seated, the staff was attentive, professional, and incredibly welcoming. They went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, the food itself didn't live up to the level of service. The flavors were very basic and lacked depth or creativity. I've had far better culinary experiences at places like COTE and Klaw, where the dishes are more thoughtfully seasoned and layered with flavor. Here, everything just felt underwhelming and a bit uninspired, especially considering the price point and presentation. The drinks were solid--well-made and enjoyable, which added a nice touch to the evening. But overall, the food left much to be desired. I'm giving this place 3 stars solely because of the exceptional service and quality of the cocktails. If the kitchen elevated its flavor profiles to match the level of hospitality, this could easily become a top-tier dining

This was my first time at Ruth’s Chris. It did not live up to my expectations. Maybe their hayday is over… the atmosphere was dull the food was bland and dry and the drinks were not great. The only Good thing about this place were the servers! They were all professional, kind and friendly. I would not recommend this restaurant. I believe South Florida has a lot more to offer than this restaurant.

This was my first visit to Ruth Chris Steakhouses which we decided to try out finally. We made a reservation for 7 and was seated just after 7 once a table became available. As with any steak house we visit, my wife and I share our entrees typically as your run of the mill steakhouse will serve larger size steaks. We went with the 26 ounce Cowboy Ribeye which was seasoned with salt and pepper and cooked to the perfect temp. We had the potatoes au gratin, creamed spinach and the mac and cheese as our sides. The potatoes au gratin were seasoned very well. The creamed spinach was creamy but wasn't very flavorful. The mac and cheese was equally tasteless and not the consistency one would expect (a bit runny). Overall, the food was ok compared to other steakhouses that we frequent. At the end of our meal, we were offered dessert which we ordered to go and went with the bread pudding which was too soggy for our liking. After completion of our meal, we received the check and due to it being the holidays, we decided to leave a cash tip for our server so that they aren't waiting for their tips to be provided, they would have cash in hand. Our card was swiped for the balance of our meal and we left the cash tip in the payment bill holder and left. Two days after our meal, we received a message from our card servicer asking if we left a 30% tip on our meal at Ruth Chris and if we didn't to dispute the transaction amount. You can imagine the surprise we felt when we see that our bill was charged an extra almost $75 over our meal price. We contacted the restaurant and spoke to the manager who informed us that they located the receipt that showed the transaction amount reported by our card servicer with the phrase "Great Service and its signed". We did not write any message nor did we place an amount in the tip section due to use providing a cash tip. We advised the manager that this is not our receipt and couldn't have been as we have the copy of the receipt provided to us stating the correct amount paid. The manager then asked me the question "Are you saying that you didn't write this message on the receipt?" We confirmed that this was not our receipt and he was very dismissive in stating that we will refund the additional charge on the card and I ended the call. A few minutes after the call ended, the manager placed a follow up call to my phone number to state that he was "looking at the wrong receipt and located the receipt that reflected the actual amount of the meal with no tip". We constantly frequent high end steak houses and have never encountered a situation like this. This is a blatant instance of fraud as we signed a receipt for an amount that was lower than what was charged to our card despite a cash tip being left. Check your accounts if you are paying with a card here!

In Virginia my wife and I used to visit the Ruth's Chris in Tysons Corner often and that's truly a 5 star restaurant. We moved to Florida 10 yrs ago, and wow what a difference. The Ruth's Chris in West Palm is terrible, from service to food. So we decided to try the one in Fort Lauderdale. OMG. What a trash restaurant. They serve 12.00 dollar plates of food and charge you 300.00 as if they are a high end restaurant. I'll just leave a picture of what a 55 dollar plate looks like, this does not include sides. With sides is 80.00. You should be ashamed of comparing yourselves to the high end steakhouses. Even outback has better food and service. They've truly lost me as a customer for good. Judge for yourself.

I usually love coming here because I know I’m going to have the best filet mignon of my life. 🥩 It’s always so delicious to the point where I can eat it alone. My husband and I came here last week to celebrate a milestone in our business and boy was it a huge let down. We sat at a table in the bar area as they were not accepting anymore walk ins which was totally fine with us. Our service was excellent from the bartender, but the food was a huge let down. We waited 45 min for our dinner to arrive to the table which was already a bad sign. I ordered the fillet mignon, medium rare and my husband had the rib eye, medium rare also. 🥩🥩Immediately I knew my steak was over cooked because it had burnt char on the outside of it and just as I assumed, no pink at all inside and was cooked well done. My husband’s steak was also overcooked and as the food runner set it on the table, he immediately offered another steak to him as he knew it was overcooked. First of all, why even bring it to the table and secondly, where was my offer? My husband accepted his correctly cooked steak and I pushed my plate to the side and just ate from his steak and our side items. Our server checked on us and informed us then that the kitchen was understaffed and had an influx of meal deal orders. We appreciated the info, but this is none of our concern and the info was too late at this point to ask for another steak for myself. This experience was disappointing to say the least and from now on, I will take our celebratory dinners to Morton’s and Capital Grill. Lastly, please take into consideration that not all guests at the restaurant want to valet park and that is the only option at this location.

Disappointed with the steak. Over cooked for medium rare. They brought a new one cooked right but it was a tougher cut of ribeye (no juicy spinalis cap).

Been going to Ruth Chris for over 20 years but 2 weeks ago was the worst meal and service I’ve ever had . Meal came out wasn’t cooked and when they brought it back it was cold inedible. They also didn’t bring out the mashed potatoes. Service was non existent. All in all the worst meal ever didn’t get any food. To top it off they didn’t offer to do anything. Never going back

My first time going to Ruth’s Chris. We went for NYE and I was so disappointed. I ordered my filet well done and had to send it back twice. I don’t understand how they can royally mess this up twice, when in fact they are a steak house. They cook steaks 24/7. Unacceptable. Will not be back and do not recommend.
