The Mast Restaurant Fort Lauderdale Reviews
Good food... We stay at the Marriott the night before our cruise. Didn't feel like going out to get something to eat, went downstairs order the food to go. Jorge was pretty good, energetic and friendly very helpful. The food are good. We were skeptical because of all the reviews. But this is for dinner. We ordered hummus and pita bread, lots of veggies lots of pita bread. We also got a hamburger with chips: very delicious to my liking and the chips are very crispy. We also have barbecue chicken flatbread, very tasty and crispy. Felt bad for those with bad experience but we had a very good experience here.
Eight here at the Matt three times during my stay at the courtyard. Every time the food was well prepared, came out in an appropriate amount of time. The staff here was really friendly. It seemed on the weekends. They staffed up slightly because it was busy, but there was more work presence around. My daughter and I had breakfast twice, and lunch once.
Had breakfast and lunch. Both great. Friendly service.

This restaurant is part of the Courtyard by Marriott hotel. You walk up to a cashier and place your order, I was expecting to sit at a table and get service. I had breakfast which was pretty good, scrambled eggs, potatoes and bacon. The eggs arrived hot and the potatoes were tasty. The toast was very hard and cold, applying butter didn’t improve the taste that much. The coffee was good. I guess if you are looking for a quick informal place to eat, the Mast may meet your requirements.

Very disappointing experience. We were seated at our table to learn that we needed to stand in line to order. It took almost 15 minutes to order. We were given a number and the good was delivered 10 minutes later. The cashier was not very friendly, he seemed to be somewhere else. Food was OK, but a little pricey. Medium coffee, cup of tea and 2 breakfast sandwiches were $60. Menu was not available online nor on the hotel's intranet page. They seem to be very understaffed. For what we paid, you'd expect waitress service.
Not a great experience here. Very unorganized, understaffed, & advertising was offering different food than was really served/offered through the Ft. Lauderdale Dine-Out menu. They really need to work on everything here.

Disappointing meal. It took 35 minutes to come out and the main was cold (fries were hot at good). The food was clearly previously frozen

If I could give this zero stars I would. Do not waste your money. This place is highway robbery. We spent $89 for breakfast which consisted of a microwaved burrito and avocado toast with canned tomatoes on it. On top of a $16 latte which tasted like it came from a gas station. The barista and server were nice but definitely spend your money elsewhere.
Looks like a nice restaurant but Horrible service. My family and I went to breakfast here and had to wait in line for 10-15 minutes for service, the prices are ridiculous. $8 for a muffin and almost $10 for a coffee. Very disappointing we walked and went to a different place.
