Omg, best taco I’ve ever had ! The frozen margarita was delicious with the extra shot ! Must try and open really late !!

Hands down my favorite restaurant in Fort Lauderdale! First of all I love how inclusive they are with their menu options. There's something delicious for everyone, including vegans and vegetarians. Not to mention so many healthy and nutritious options. Their menu draws inspiration from cuisines all over the world and they absolutely nail the fusion dishes. Last but not least, they stay open super late until 3 am. So even if you get late night munchies, Velvet Taco will never let you down!

This is my 2nd visit to Velvet Taco, and I can confidently say it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by the incredibly friendly staff. The menu offers a diverse selection of tacos at an affordable price, making it easy to find something for everyone. I was impressed with the quality and taste of the food. Each taco was packed with fresh ingredients, and bursting with flavor and margaritas are great. The portions were just right but definitely satisfying. I felt like I had great value for my money, which isn’t always the case at trendy taco spots. The combo is an added bonus, offering delicious options at a great price. The atmosphere is a great place to hang out with friends. Overall, Velvet Taco is a must-visit for anyone looking for tasty, well-priced tacos in a friendly, relaxed setting. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Velvet Taco – Downtown Fort Lauderdale – 5 Stars This was my first time at Velvet Taco and I’m officially hooked! I ordered the seasonal veggie bowl and added crispy tofu — it completely exceeded my expectations. Everything was super fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The tofu had that ideal crunch, and the whole bowl was packed with bold, satisfying flavors. You can tell they put real care into every ingredient. The presentation was beautiful, and the portion size was more than generous. It’s rare to find a spot that nails veggie-based dishes like this — I’ll absolutely be back (many times!). Highly recommend to anyone looking for something delicious, unique, and satisfying. New favorite spot in Fort Lauderdale, no question! The frozen margarita is amazing too!

This is literally the best place because I was very appreciative about getting the elote but Gabriel convinced me that it was the best. Welp. I can’t imagine never getting it! Thank you Gabriel !!

I had lunch at this place. The service staff is very friendly and professional. The atmosphere and concept are very cool. The food was also good, as for tacos and guacamole. But it's hard for me to find tacos that taste better than the ones I make myself at home :)

We were in fort lauderdale for a short stay during our recent Caribbean cruise. We stopped by this location and tried our late lunch closed to 3pm. Even though it was little empty due to the time, we went ahead ordered some common Mexican foods, the waiter and waitress are vary friendly and offers advice, recommendations. We picked their recommendations and everything tasted amazingly fresh and good, it was one of my best Mexican food experiences, 5 stars👍.

Julie was awesome when we came in today. It was our first time (on vacay so potentially our last time) visiting. She explained the menu, took our order and checked on us as we finished. The bacon smash burger taco was so yummy and quite filling! The brisket duo was my husbands choice… he thought it was outstanding. Definitely a great find!

Amazing food, even better people. And to go boxes made for tacos. Shown in picture: Bacon Smash Burger & Quesa Birra Brisket Duo Combo with a side of quac. They gave us a completely slice of velvet cake with Carmel sauce for being first timers. Would recommend

I'm going back😃The smash burger taco is all you need. I got mine with no bacon and I got the spicy tikka chicken which is good but that smash burger is something serious for a taco. Lots of space for 2 people and they leave a roll of paper towels on each table.

Stopped into Velvet Taco today for the first time and was surprised with how delicious the food was! We got Smash Burger Tacos, Mexicali Tacos, the blue chips & queso, some La Rubia beers and Margaritas with Tajin. The portions were huge, the service was great and the price was right. The smash burger taco & queso were my favs. I will definitely be back again soon!

Best experience with best customer service .Me and my friends decided to stop by since were craving for tacos and this restaurant never disappoint, their bowls serving are right amount for its price($12-13) with superb taste!Restaurant is clean and bathrooms always stay fresh and (smellllss good,cherry scent or something)Nevertheless will definitely comeback!

It was my first time at Velvet Taco and the guy at the register was quite helpful. I decided to get the combo (two tacos, a side and a drink) and a slice of red velvet cake. The Beer Battered Cauliflower taco was crispy outside and each bite was an explosion of flavor. The Nashville Hot Tofu taco was equally delicious; but I didn’t appreciate the texture of the tofu which was too soft for my liking. The Elote and Chips were so yummy that I could eat a whole meal out of it. However, the red velvet cake was disappointing as the texture was coarse and it didn’t have that decadence that I expected. Overall, this was a good find - the atmosphere is cheerful and the variety of tacos are amazing.

Great spot! Stopped for lunch with a friend and really enjoyed. The prices are perfect for the amount of food. Hit the spot. Everything was full of flavor. Loved the elote. Will definitely be back when in the area. Highly recommend.

Best tacos I've had in a while! Server was super nice and accommodating and the drinks were really good. Although we did have an issue with wrong food being brought to us but the manager Alyr that was on duty came by and made sure we were taken care of. Definitely coming back soon love the atmosphere and vibe!

I love this place I go there all the time but the last time I was there my tacos seemed a little cold so I asked if they could make new ones the manager a young guy came right over apologized and personally made my tacos himself he was super polite and the tacos were some of the best I’ve had yet there (but they are always good!) I asked the manager for his name because I told him I wanted to give him a shout out in my review he said it was Aleer (I’m not sure I feel like I’m spelling it wrong lol) but yea I love this place some of the best food and best service around! Thanks again to the awesome manager and all the staff at this location!! You guys are the bomb!!

I’m traveling through en route back home to Maryland and found them close to the science center. I’m glad I stopped in. I loved the barria tacos, smash burger taco, and the cake! Tim truly blown. I haven’t had tacos this good and crafty since living in San Diego.

The food was super yummy! Very pleased with the experience. Such a good find - will be craving these! My only request is that the menu shows that the combo meals come with tortilla chips. But the food was seriously so good! Service is quick! Jewlz was incredibly kind as well.

The service at this fast food restaurant is good and so is the atmosphere. The food is not bad. The rotisserie chicken is fairly tasty but the crema sauces they put on is a bit much. Some of the tacos are actually really spicy. It is open late so that's convenient of you are looking for a place open late.

On most taco 🌮 Tuesdays, you’ll find me at Velvet Taco for lunch… I only order the Mexi-Cali shrimp from the Say What? Combo. The shrimp is grilled and seasoned so well. The guac & chips are delicious.

It’s fine if you happen to pass by, but not worth going out of your way for. The staff at the counter were extremely slow; it took about 10 minutes just to take an order from one customer. ( parking is very hard)
