Kimbell Cafe Fort Worth Reviews
They serve great food and drinks. My salad is very fresh and crisp and the quiche was warm and creamy. Before you come check out the hours. We were early because they open at 12:00 on Friday.
We hosted a bridal shower high tea for 15 guests. The cafe set aside tables for us and the staff was very attentive to our needs. We were able to bring an outside cake and flowers. Our guests enjoyed the delicious food and tea selection. The space itself was also so beautiful it didn’t need much decoration. I can’t wait to go back for a casual lunch at another time.
Great little cafe. The servers were very friendly and we really enjoyed the food. Everything was fresh and tasty, especially the fruit. We will definitely come back!
We had the best experience at mother & son tea here. Food was delicious, tea outstanding, and service couldn’t be better. My son has food allergies and staff was super understanding, chef came out multiple times to ask questions and make sure everything was safe. We’ll be back for sure!
Reasonable price. healthy and yammy food. Landscape is beautiful. Love it 😀 😍 ❤️
Lovely high tea. Staff was informative about the tea choices. Will definitely do again. Reservations are suggested.
The food is always delicious and we love the outdoor courtyard.
Great food and a lovely light room made for a sweet stop while viewing an amazing art collection.

Great ambience, splendid service from all the staff, and great tasting food. Peter was friendly and attentive. The chicken mushroom lentil soup was delicious and so was the Quiche.
I love how open and bright the cafe is. The cafe staff is always friendly. And there's always a great variety to choose from. I particularly enjoy the chicken salad. As a member I come here often and the only thing that would make it better is if there was a gluten-free baked good and a dairy alternative creamer for the coffee.
This restaurant is an upscale cafeteria with a menu that changes daily. You can get the "regular" or "large" plates. There a couple of soups to chose, a half sandwich and quiche of the day. Every soup, sandwich, and quiche I've tried have been great. Then there are several types of salads (lettuce, vegetable, slaw, fruit, etc.), bread rolls, and desserts (at extra cost). Drinks (very good coffee, a couple types of iced tea, lemonade) are included. Currently, the regular plate costs $12.50, large $15, so this is not a budget place. There is live music for Friday night dinner.
This is a great lunch place. Quick, relaxed ambiance. Lighter fare with amazing salads and soups. No soda, though. They do serve wine and have nice, fresh squeezed lemonade. Their chicken chili is a local favorite!
We ate lunch here while visiting the art museum. The menu selection isn't huge, but the soup they had was really good. The staff is super nice, and it was a good value overall.
Surprised that someone complained about $14 for the large plate. That includes a tasty salad, fruit cup, cookie, two entrees and great coffee or teas. And no tipping. That’s a bargain anywhere, especially in one of the most attractive dining spots in Fort Worth. Especially the outdoor patio.

Unlike most museum cafes, this one exudes a certain vibrant energy that makes it a great place to grab a bite, particularly lunch. Menu is very limited, but the soup is usually excellent. If the weather permits, sit outside in the courtyard. Service is efficient, and you pay for what you pick. The two entree option makes more sense.
High tea service in the ambiance of the art museum. All house made baked products right down to the house made jams. Yumalisciousness! Pro tip: make it alfresco in the outdoor garden space!

Oh wow the food here is great!!! I wish it was AYCE 🤣
This review is specifically for the cafe that is inside of the Kimbell Art Museum. I enjoyed a scoop of their chicken salad. It was flavorful with a little bit of crunch. Nice! I had a small salad with orange vinaigrette, macaroni salad, and mixed fruit. All good! I also tried the chocolate pecan pie and lemonade. This was a very satisfying yet not too heavy of a lunch. Drinks are included and the meal comes with a complimentary cookie. Yum! The young service staff were all friendly and had delightful manners. The ambiance is clean and guests were an older crowd and a good amount of artsy young fans. Parking was free and ample.
nice museum. went there to eat lunch. It was good, reasonable prices. lots of office workers there from office buildings
Afternoon tea… but make it budget‑bougie.Tucked inside the Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth, this afternoon tea is just $35 for two people, with sandwiches, scones, sweets, and a pot of tea while you’re steps away from masterpieces by Monet and Picasso. I gave it a solid 4/5: the food is simple and not “hotel fancy tea” level, but for the price and the setting it’s an incredible value. Would you try museum tea over a fancy hotel tea for this price?

This is terrible food, tasteless. 5 of us ate there today and the quality was subpar. Don't waste your time and calories. We have eaten at the Aquarium in Dallas and the Modern in Ft.Worth. Both restaurants are far superior.
