Mo'Bettas Fort Worth Reviews
When it comes to the different Hawaiian food restaurants in the DFW Metro I would probably rate Mo' Bettahs in the top 3. Even though they weigh the food portions. The meat portions are still huge, whether you get a one two or three meat option.
This was my first time here. I love Hawaiian Bros so I obviously wanted to try a restaurant toting a similar menu. I ordered the Kahlua Pig and the Teriyaki Chicken. As much as I wanted to love this place, it just wasn’t great. My kahlua pig was not fresh at all, and was tough at best. While I will say the Terikayi was good, it just was not as flavorful as it should have been. The macaroni salad saved the day, though! 5 stars! And the staff! The kind young people that helped me today were exceptional! Good portion sizes for the price, just wish the food had been better.
My first time visiting here and the experience was very good. Staff was very nice. The food tasted so good. Taste it like someone was cooking outside on the grill some good chicken and pulled pork and steak on a Barbie. I got I think it was called the big boy. The biggest food tray they have. Steak, chicken and pig or pulled pork. I guess. The meat all tasted like it was fresh off the grill cooked seasoned very nicely too. The rice tasted great the mac & cheese salad taste a good. Everything about the presentation about this place was just really good. I will definitely be coming back here. Great place for a Fourth of July takeout.
We were pleasantly surprised. The food was good. I usually do not care for cold macaroni, but Mo' Bettahs macaroni was pretty good. The pork and steak were also delicious. Really good amount of food for the price point. A special shout out to Caleb! He was very kind and hospitable.
Mo' Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food in Fort Worth is a taste of the islands right here in Texas! From the moment I walked in, the amazing atmosphere transported me to a relaxed and inviting setting, complete with thoughtful decor that truly captures the spirit of aloha. I even noticed a neat card explaining the "Shaka" sign – that classic hand gesture symbolizing aloha, happiness, friendship, and taking it easy. It was a cool little detail that added to the genuine island vibe. Adding to the ambiance were beautiful photographs adorning the walls, including a captivating shot of a surfer riding a vibrant green wave and other stunning images of powerful ocean waves and serene Hawaiian landscapes. There was even a wonderful piece of artwork featuring a silhouette of a hand making the Shaka sign against a breathtaking sunset over the ocean – a perfect photo opportunity that truly embodies the spirit of aloha! What truly resonated with me was the "Mo'olelo - Our Story" displayed on the wall, sharing the heartfelt inspiration behind Mo' Bettahs. It spoke of family, 'ohana, and the tradition of cooking with real aloha, ensuring everyone felt welcomed and well-fed. Signed by Kimo and Kalani Mack, it's clear that this restaurant is built on a foundation of love for good food and the spirit of Hawaiian hospitality. To complete the island experience, I also enjoyed a refreshing can of Hawaiian Sun Strawberry Guava Nectar – a taste of pure tropical goodness that perfectly complemented my meal. And the food? Absolutely ono (delicious)! We ordered the teriyaki chicken and steak combo, and it was a feast for the senses. The chicken and steak were both incredibly tender and flavorful, perfectly marinated in that classic teriyaki sauce. The mac salad was creamy and delicious, and the fresh veggies added a vibrant crunch and balance to the meal. The portion sizes are incredibly generous – I was able to enjoy the amazing food all day long! It's definitely a great value for the quality and quantity you receive. Based on the photos, the presentation is also fantastic, with colorful and appetizing dishes that make you want to dig right in. If you're looking for authentic and delicious Hawaiian food, with large portions, a fantastic and culturally rich atmosphere enhanced by details like the Shaka explanation, the beautiful sea turtle artwork, captivating surfing and ocean photography, a heartwarming story that speaks to the true meaning of aloha, the delightful taste of Hawaiian Sun beverages, and even fun photo opportunities that perfectly capture the island spirit, Mo' Bettahs in Fort Worth is a must-try! The spirit of aloha is definitely present in every aspect, and I highly recommend it.
The customer service we got was amazing! Felt like I was welcomed. The chicken teriyaki tasted amazing. Portion size I felt like the amount of chicken we got was really worth it. The picture is what was left, I am going to be eating this for lunch the next day. So yummy in the tummy, will be coming back here again
First time trying Mo’ Bettahs and it was phenomenal. I got the teriyaki chicken and steak, super tender lots of flavor and will definitely be back.
The team, food, service, location... ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! Shoutout to Ash (glasses with man bun) for his great customer service as well as the rest of the staff. They're all have been friendly and have that aloha vibe I'm used to as someone who grew up in the Islands. The food is so good too! Definitely broke da mout! Reminds me so much of home. Best Hawaiian Island joint in the area, so far!
I got the mini plate with teriyaki chicken & katsu chicken. Plenty of food! The macaroni salad is bomb! When you pair a bit of it with a bit of the sliced cabbage it provides the perfect crunch. Chicken was delicious and done very well. Nice crunch to the katsu and the chicken was delicious. The Teri sauce wasn’t too overpowering either. For what you get I think it’s a great deal! I also got a little Hawaain sushi bar. So good! I like the Hawaiian music in the background well. I’d definitely return. ✌🏼🥳
This place is AMAZING My only experience with anything like this was Hawaiian Bros, no offense to them (they’re great) but Mo Bettahs is on a completely different level Everything I had felt/tasted homemade We tried both the grilled (Polehu) and Fried (Katsu) chicken **Katsu is my fav** All if the sauces *spicy mayo is my fav* Rice is what you would expect the big surprise was that cold Mac salad… unreal! I can’t express what a great experience this was, go check them out asap and see for yourself:)
Forget Hawaiian Bros, this place is Mo’ Bettahs! It’s officially my new favorite spot in Alliance. We’ve eaten here multiple times since they opened, and it’s always been good. They serve big portions of flavorful chicken and rice. I love how they weigh out each portion to make sure you get what you pay for. A regular plate is enough for two of us. The chicken is cooked perfectly, and the rice and mac salad are delicious. Highly recommend.
Awesome food! I love it! Had the mini plate with kalua pig, teriyaki chicken, mac salad, and rice. It was delicious! The family all agreed it was mobettah than the other bros….

Just got back from Maui and this food was way better. Teriyaki Chicken is the way to go. Kid likes the tempura shrimp and teriyaki steak. Those items are good and the teriyaki sauce is awesome. Also portions are great see the mini order pictured below.

Delicious food, entire place smelled marvelous from the grills! Pork was overall winner with the family but chicken was delicious as well. We’re planning our next trip to try the teriyaki steak. Can’t wait!

Tyson and the closing staff did a phenomenal job. Not only is the food phenomenal, the service was astounding. They don’t treat you like a customer, they treat you like your friend. Immaculate service.
We came in close to closing time without knowing but Tyson didn’t make it an issue at all and was very kind. Tyson and the rest of the closing staff had amazing customer service and were very friendly. Would come again just based off the customer service. The food was also great
Got the Teriyaki chicken and shrimp tempura on a bed of rice with mac salad. I’m a big lad whose back is wide, when I say I left full and happy I mean it. Shout out to the wonderfully nice team here. The chicken was moist and sweet( I recommend the yeobo sauce to dip it in) and the tempura shrimp was fried to make it crunchy but not too crunchy. (Also recommend the spicy mayo to dip in.) Prices are reasonable for the size you get and the vibes are very laid back and relaxed. I would add photos but I ate the food too quickly.
Dined in several weeks ago and have had to-go orders 3 times since. Staff are really nice and the good is really consistent and wonderful. Portions sizes are generous and I can get two meals from my order.

My son and I got the Ekolu "The Big Boy" meal. I got mine with Puleho Chicken, Kalua Pig and Teriyaki Steak with the rice and macaroni salad. He got: Katsu Chicken, Teriyaki Steak and Puleho Chicken with just rice. I had a bite of the Katsu Chicken and it was delicious! I missed out for sure. My wife had the Pake Salad with chicken. We also got 2 Spam Musabi for take home. I know I'm missing something. I'll edit when I remember. Delicious food at a reasonable price. We all took food home. I'm sure we'll be back soon to try different things.
First time at Mo' Bettahs. Order the Ekolu "DA Big Boy" so I get a taste of 3 meats. I ordered the teriyaki steak, teriyaki chicken, and katsu chicken. Below the teriyaki steak, printed in smaller letters, is an additional charge for steak. I was charged an additional $1.99 for the small portion of teriyaki steak, which is worth it. I did not mind the portion, but the teriyaki steak was overcooked and tough to chew. The teriyaki chicken had some burnt pieces that did not taste good. Once you cut it off, the taste is fine. The katsu chicken was a little overcooked, too. The thin outer piece was dry and was heavily breaded. Overall, it was ok, but not better than the other chains out there. I will be back to try the kalua pig, polehu chicken, and shrimp tempura. Hopefully, it will be better.

Tried the St Lake City location and it was fantastic. This one sadly was disappointing. The chicken was dry and I had to add bbq sauce since the teriyaki sauce wasn’t in the bag. The pork was fatty and didn’t taste right so ended up in the trash. Rice was good. Steak was decent. Mac salad pretty good. Wondering if we got them on an off night !!

Update (((((Sorry !! Had to put to 1 Star this place gave me severe food poisoning)))))) Got very sick about 3 hours after eating ended up sick all night )))) Absolutely delicious, Love that they have a drive thru with no wait on my order pulled up to the window with food ready . Have to say way better than Hawaiian Bros food way more fresh tasting here. $17 2 choice 2 sides meal can’t complain serve proportion but kinda high price. Fast Friendly service
I will not be back.. I went through the drive thru an hour and a half before they close. They were out of white rice so I had to get brown rice, which I enjoy as well so no problem on the swap except for the fact that the brown rice was so incredibly hard I couldn’t eat any. On top of that, there was chicken that was way too raw for comfort. The macaroni salad was plain and had to be accompanied with a sauce to enjoy. I enjoy Hawaiian bbq and was excited to try Mo bettas, but was truly let down as the best part of my $15 dollar meal was the Coke Zero.
