The Chumley House Fort Worth Reviews
Duro does it again. Gorgeous space and food was surprisingly flavorful being European inspired - we weren’t sure what to expect. We sat in their fireplace(?) room - beautiful and intimate. Started with the Kale and Apple salad, next was the Halibut and Beef Wellington, and we ordered all the sides to try. Fav sides were the Zucchini and Poppvers. We finished with the sticky pudding and it was delicious!! For drinks, we ordered the Social Vampire and Sergeant Pepper. Staff were great also, I hate I can’t remember our waitresses name, but she was amazing! And special shoutout to EJ for spending some time with us explaining we actually got in during their “soft opening”. Family style dining is finding its way into our hearts! :)
Can’t believe we were able to get a table the same day. What an amazing gem that has come to FW. Beautifully warm decor, great location, friendly ultra professional staff, with delicious upscale options that is offered at no other place in FW. Everything is top notch done and the food is unbelievable. Sunny was our waitress and she was amazing! Definitely a special occasion restaurant for our family.
Duro group continues to impress me. They are hands down the best restaurant group in all DFW. Not only is the food top notch here but the service is impeccable. And TCH has spared no expense for quality of both food and people. We arrived early for a cocktail at the bar and were warmly greeted with good conversation while our drinks were made taking in the attention to detail in the ambiance created. Over the course of our meal, which consisted of the lamb and butter chicken, we shared a beautiful bottle of wine. From start to finish this is a definite new favorite for us and we'll most assuredly be back.
I was truly impressed with this restaurant. The food was amazing! The drinks spot on! From the moment I walked in I knew this was going to be a very special experience. I felt like I was being treated like a princess the whole evening. I will definitely be going back! Thank you for the hospitality.
A lovely new restaurant with a great selection of food, drinks, and friendly, helpful service. Our server was Miguel and I recommend asking for him by name. The beef Wellington easily serves 2-4 people and is cooked to perfection and you cannot go wrong with the sticky toffee desert. All the entrees were a la cart. But the sides and appetizers were very sharable. And the cocktails were so enjoyable.
So I’m not sure where to start, but first, shout out to our server Bailey as she was fantastic! We started with the artichoke dip, which is probably the best I’ve ever had. I then got the Akaushi New York Strip, which I thought was going to be bone in because it was 16 ounces. But nope, just a big delicious steak. I also got it with the Au Poivre sauce and man it just set the steak flavor profile off in the best way. I also got the charred zucchini for a side. Man that also so good. In short, I can’t wait to go back. I want to have a day at the bar top as well. Seems like an awesome bar. I did have an old fashioned and it was super delicious!
Grace was our waitress. She did an exceptional job of going over the menu and delivering prompt service. The whole waitstaff was very attentive. Sam was our bartender for our pre and post dinner cocktails. He makes a great old fashion and espresso martini. We had the wedge salad and salmon appetizer to start off with. I had the Ny Strip and my husband had the Bone- in Ribeye with the potatoes and tallow pop overs. Everything was delicious! The manager, Ben came over and checked on us to ensure we had everything we needed. Honestly, from the moment we walked in the door until we left (including the friendly valet) we had an amazing night. 10/10 we would recommend. I truly think it was the best dining experience I’ve ever had.
Where Bond cocktails, British charm, and Beef Wellington meet in holy matrimony. Let me set the stage: dim lighting, wood so polished you could shave in the reflection, and a logo so regal it belongs on a wax seal. The Chumley House isn’t just dinner—it’s a passport to a better version of yourself, somewhere between Savile Row and a cigar lounge in Mayfair. We were greeted like minor royalty and handed—wait for it—complimentary scones and a cup of tea. Yes, tea. In Fort Worth. And not just any tea. This was a delicate infusion that whispered, “Welcome, lad. Let’s pretend we’re in London and the dollar still means something.” The scone? Buttery, warm, and so tender it made me briefly regret all the years I wrote off British baking as bland. Then came cocktails. My wife, who looked devastatingly elegant as always, sipped on a Bond Vesper so sleek and dangerous I half-expected it to explode. Roku Gin, Ketel Vodka, Cocchi Americano—this wasn’t a drink; it was a MI6 dossier in a glass. Meanwhile, I nursed an Old Fashioned made with Heaven’s Door and Cynar over a single, confident rock. It tasted like Sinatra’s handshake—bold, bitter, and unforgettable. Starter: The Artichoke & Caramelized Onion Dip with Malt Vinegar Chips arrived looking humble—but Lord, it had range. Hot, creamy, and tangy with a side of golden chips that had the crunch of a fresh banknote. I could’ve bathed in that dip. I nearly did. Then came the crown jewel. The Beef Wellington wasn’t just served—it was presented. Tableside, no less. A polished server brought out the golden-crusted masterpiece like it was about to be knighted. He sliced it with precision, plating each portion with reverence while narrating the details: tenderloin, duxelle, tasso ham, pastry layers engineered by angels. It was culinary theater, and I ate it with the attention of a man who’d waited his whole life for this moment. We paired it with a glass of bold red—because a dish like this demands an equally confident partner—and shared The Regal Potato on the side. Layers of crisped perfection, topped with crispy pork belly and red onion marmalade, it was rich enough to make me question why I ever bothered with mashed. The whole evening felt like slipping into another life. A better one. The kind where you say things like “bring the car around” and mean it. Would I return? I’d show up in a three-piece suit next time, just out of respect. Would I recommend it? Yes. To anyone with taste buds, a heartbeat, and at least one decent jacket. 10/10. Would fake a British accent just to get seated faster. Long live The Chumley House.
Loved this restaurant! The food was incredible, the service was top notch and the restaurant was decorated so beautifully. We loved everything we ordered and our waiter Keagan was amazing… he had the best food & drink recommendations. We visited for my husband’s birthday and the staff treated us very well. We will definitely be back!
Absolutely fantastic! This is a welcome addition to the Fort Worth dining scene. Everything top notch. Miguel, our server was welcoming and professional. The sommelier was extremely knowledgeable. The ambience was cozy and cool. Most of all the food was out of this world! It's bananas! I ate too much and spent too much, but zero regrets. Thank you Chumley House and welcome to Funkytown!
We absolutely loved our anniversary dinner tonight! This was our first time dining at The Chumley House and we look forward to returning! The staff were incredibly attentive, the GM was so kind and pleasant, and of course the food was absolutely delicious. We would definitely recommend!
I had high expectations being fans of the Charles and Sister, and this place exceeded them! Food was incredible, with special standouts being the butter chicken pie and tenderloin stroganoff. Our waiter Diego was attentive and all of the wait staff seemed to work together in perfect harmony. It was great to see in a place that had only been open for a few weeks. Service was overall top notch. I can’t wait to be back again!
Omgosh, everything about this place was perfection! The fact that you get to start off with a warm tea and little bits of heaven is a telling sign that you are about to have an enjoyable dinner experience. Atmosphere and service was perfection and every drink and meal arrived beautifully. Everything tasted as good as it looked. I cant believe im just now finding this place. We came here for a friends birthday, but ill be going back a lot more often!
I had the pleasure of dining at The Chumley House on February 27th, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by friendly, attentive staff who made us feel like we were truly special guests. The service was top-notch, with every need taken care of promptly and with a smile. The ambiance is absolutely stunning. The space has a refined yet cozy feel, with beautifully designed rooms that transport you to another time. The mix of rich woodwork, elegant furnishings, and intimate lighting creates the perfect setting for a night out, whether you're celebrating something special or just enjoying a fantastic meal. Me and my friend aren’t drinkers, however when we stated that, we were offered the option of their mocktail called the Jr. Pepper and it was absolutely delightful. Now, let's talk about the food—spectacular doesn't even begin to cover it. We started with the Bucatini alla Chumley, and it was the perfect balance of flavors. Not only that but we had the pleasure of having a complimentary beef stroganoff with the delicious ricotta dumplings. For the main course, the Akaushi steak was melt-in-your-mouth tender and full of rich, juicy flavor, while the long bone lamb was perfectly cooked, with a savory char and a depth of flavor that was just outstanding. Every bite was a delight. The Chumley House really knows how to combine excellent service, a beautiful setting, and some of the most delicious food I've ever had. It’s clear they put a lot of thought and care into every aspect of the dining experience. Highly recommend this gem in Fort Worth to anyone looking for a memorable night out! I can't wait to return. P.S Our server was Hamid and he was amazing! He’s since become a part of the management but he’s just as awesome.😉
I’ll start right off with all the food is fantastic! The reservation making I heard was not a good experience according to our friend who made it. They stuck five of us in a spot more suited for four. That was annoying. Oh, it’s dark, you will need a light to see the menu. I’ll also say it’s way overpriced. Just because you can charge outrageous prices doesn’t mean you have too. I’m mostly talking about the drinks. You have some shots on there that cost more for one shot then the bottle or most of the food plates. Unnecessary. Cost you nothing to pour a whiskey. I did not drink because of the prices. It’s the principle of it. Restaurants have gone crazy with drink prices. One thing that hasn’t inflated is alcohol. Crazy Ok, rant over let’s talk about the food cause it was fabulous. Started off with these spicy scones. I could have eaten so many of those. As a table we decided to order multiple dishes and then share them. There were five of us and it worked out perfect. Beef Wellington was good but It was one and done for us. The curry baked dish was my favorite by far. Next would be the beef stroganoff. Everything was good and if you down to drop a pretty penny for a night out go ahead and enjoy. You could easily share a dish and skip the drinks and come out not bad. It was worth trying and we will go back. We enjoyed our evening.
Just celebrated my birthday this evening, and they sure let it be known to the staff. I was wished Happy birthday at least ten times. The food was absolutely incredible we started off with the pork belly for an appetizer. Then ordered a beef Wellington and New York Strip, side of out of this world potatoes unlike anything I've ever seen before. Lastly ended our evening with beigenet, melted instantly in our mouths. Just incredible what a birthday celebration and our first fine dining experience for us as a couple. Everything was magnificent just words cannot describe. Shout out to the water ninjas per my spouse, so stealthy and attentive.
The minute we walked in, the service was impeccable. Waiters & waitresses were ON TOP of it. The vibe of the restaurant was absolutely beautiful. Gave old money.. Food was presented in the loveliest manner & had the richest flavors. Definitely recommending the beef Wellington & the regal potato. Cocktails are to die for. I’m not a huge fan of any sort of spritz but theirs were exquisite. So all in all, had a fantastic experience & will most certainly be back! 10/10
Lovely evening! The savory scones with butter were an excellent starter, the scones had a pinch of jalapeño, served with rose tea. We split the wedge salad, which came with a buttermilk ranch that was delicious. My date had the rainbow trout encrusted with pecans. I had the 8oz filet, which was cooked perfectly medium rare. The off-menu roasted broccoli was tasty but far too much for the two of us. Finished with the sticky toffee pudding that was warmed with flames. All in all a really nice evening. Reservations required! Easy and quick valet parking. Our server Keegan was top-notch and very attentive without being overwhelming. My one gripe is the extremely high noise level. At times I could not hear my date across a small two top table.
Fantastic experience at Chumley’s House in Fort Worth. Service was excellent; friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The filet was perfectly cooked, and the lasagna rotolo was rich, flavorful, and surprisingly light. Drinks were on point too: the Sergeant Pepper had a smoky, spicy twist, & My Summer in Sicily was refreshing and bright. The scone to start was soft with a subtle kick. an unexpected but great combo. Strongly recommend for a classy but approachable night out
Enjoyed an excellent birthday dinner with friends. The dining room has amazing character. Really liked all the decor and overall feel of the space. Service was great from start to finis. Everything was clearly explained when dishes were dropped off. Lighting would be my only issue for picture purposes. The overall meal was great, with the highlights being the Chicken Butter Pie, Saag Paneer side, and Sticky Toffee Pudding. The Akaushi steak, Halibut Porterhouse, Scallops, and Chicken Schnitzel entrees were all perfectly executed and tasty.
We hosted our daughter’s college graduation dinner last month at The Chumley House in Fort Worth, and I can say without hesitation that it was one of the most extraordinary dining experiences we've EVER experienced. From start to finish, every detail was handled with grace, professionalism, and warmth that made the evening unforgettable. Huge shout out to Ben Gingras who helped me plan this special evening. Ben went OVER AND BEYOND to make the experience all it was - truly unforgettable. We were in the private room, and it felt like stepping into a beautifully curated, intimate space designed just for us. The ambiance was AMAZING.. quaint, charming and elegant yet so welcoming. The staff also went above and beyond to make sure we felt special, and we sure did. Every single member of the team treated us with genuine care, attentiveness, and professionalism that is increasingly rare to find these days. And the food, omg the food, was absolutely phenomenal. We were there with my parents and sister and her family who are real foodies and tough to impress. Everyone agreed that this restaurant is on its way to being a Michelin rated restaurant. The food was DIVINE!!!!! Each course was thoughtfully prepared and presented, with flavors that could rival any fine dining experience we’ve ever had. From appetizers to dessert, every bite was perfectly cooked, beautifully plated, and bursting with flavor. You could tell the kitchen takes immense pride in their craft. This wasn’t just a dinner.. it was truly a memory we’ll cherish forever. Ben & everyone at The Chumley House helped turn a special occasion into something that we can describe as magical. Btw, these are the items we devoured.. APPETIZERS: Little Gem Wedges Kale & Apple Salad Prawns Royale ENTREES: Colossal Stuffed Shells, Ricotta Tenderloin Stroganoff Akaushi NY Strip Halibut SIDES: Regal Potato Charred Zucchini, Crispy Quinoa Tallow Popovers DESSERTS: Mimi's Ice Box Pie Sticky Toffee Pudding
If you haven’t experienced Chumley House yet, you’re missing one of the best culinary treasures Fort Worth has to offer. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere sets the tone for an unforgettable dining experience — warm, inviting, and effortlessly elegant. The food? Absolutely phenomenal. Every bite was packed with flavor, clearly crafted with care and creativity. Chumley House doesn’t just serve incredible dishes — it elevates the entire Fort Worth dining scene. It’s rare to find a place where you can taste the passion behind every plate, and even rarer for that passion to consistently shine through across the entire menu. Chumley House is not just a restaurant; it’s an experience. It’s raised the bar for what great food in Fort Worth should look like, and I can’t wait to come back. A true must-visit for anyone who loves exceptional cuisine and genuine hospitality. Mike and his team were phenomenal. They are very attentive and knowledgeable and helpful. Mike will be our go to server ever time I am there.
Ok, this is a different experience than a typical downtown steak house. This is still western themed with chocolate leather seating and dark paneling but there's a sophistication and uniqueness that is different here. Expect no less than a full team to visit your table on various aspects of your dining experience and expect nothing but the best from their menu. I had the world's best beef Wellington and they did themselves proud. Greeters are the best in the county, wait staff the best I have enjoyed in many years (thank you Allie) and the management assured us that this visit and any future visit would be the best of its peers. Quite the experience
An absolute standout in Fort Worth. From the moment we sat down, everything felt thoughtful and intentional. We started with the beef stroganoff for an appetizer (even though it’s technically an entree), it was rich, comforting, and beautifully balanced. It set the bar immediately. I ordered the NY strip, and I do not say this lightly. It was the best steak I have ever had. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and genuinely memorable. One of those dishes you keep thinking about afterward. We ordered one of every dessert and there was not a single weak link. The sticky toffee pudding was my favorite, followed closely by the tiramisu, but honestly everything was a 10 out of 10. The super cute English-style decor deserves its own mention. Cozy, charming, and elevated without trying too hard. Add excellent service and you have a place that feels special start to finish. We will absolutely be back and will be bringing friends.
I can’t say enough good about our experience. Each course arrived precisely when it ought to have, which was impressive given the restaurant appeared to be operating at something close to full capacity and mild chaos. Temperatures were correct—hot food was hot, cold food was cold—which remains reassuring in a modern society. Every bite was quietly excellent. We will, in due course, be returning with friends for their Sunday special: a traditional English Roast for two at $150. This seems sensible and inevitable. I am writing this review while eating the remaining chip dip with cold blue crab pie, which somehow continues to hold up under scrutiny. This feels less like a snack and more like a contribution to an ongoing legacy. Cheers to an absolutely wonderful experience!
Solid dining experience. The service is what you expect from a place like this. Food is incredible. It’s clear every detail has been thought through and executed to precision. It’s become the new favorite spot in Fort Worth! The place is surprising small, perhaps due to being connected to a hotel. It can feel stuffy and crowded on a busy night. I haven’t tried showing up without a reservation, so can’t speak to wait times for walk ins.
Walking into The Chumley House feels like walking into a Bond Movie. It's elegant, moody and cinematic. Sam and Liz have mastered both an impeccable attention to detail and an efforless sense of cool. The whole place has this cozy, London-inspired charm that makes you want to linger over every course. The garam masala scones were a standout. Buttery, fragrant, and perfectly balanced. The Tikka pie was excellent. Rich, comforting, and full of flavor. Regal potatoes were both soft and pillowy in the center while crisp on the outside. The steaks are delicious but the Applewood Pork Belly stole the show. Absolutely phenomenal. Between the incredible food, warm atmosphere, and thoughtful service, this spot easily earned a top spot on our favorites list.
Being a fan of Duro Hospitality, I had to round out their list of restaurants by checking off The Chumley House for my birthday. Amazing, amazing. From the moment we stepped in to finish, everything was wonderful, and our server, Sara, was so kind and attentive. On to the good stuff - The applewood pork belly was a savory hit, with balances of sweet, salty and spicy. We were given a cute little amuse of the regal potato with crème fraiche and caviar, and the potato was crunchy and soft. I admired this bite for a little bit, and thought this needs to be on the menu. Next, was the tenderloin stroganoff…y’all the ricotta dumplings were melt in your mouth goodness. Then out came the star of the show, the beef Wellington and let me just say, you’ve been beat, Mister Charles. With each bite you got a perfectly cooked soft tenderloin with a delightfully crunchy pastry. What more do you need in life? It was wonderful. If you’re looking for fantastic food and thoughtful service, The Chumley House needs to be your next destination. You’ve knocked it out of the ballpark (yet again) with this one, Duro.
Came twice within a week! It’s so good! Surprisingly smaller than I imagined so definitely recommend a reservation, we got lucky at the bar twice. I’m obsessed with the complimentary scones and tea, how could something so good be free? I’m here for it. We had the crab pot pie, beef Wellington, beignets, Artichoke & Caramelized Onion Dip with chips, and I would give them all a 9/10. The Pimm’s Cup Spritz was a 10/10! I definitely see myself on their patio this summer having a few. Loved the matches and all the small details from decorations to presentation, one of my new favorites.
I had exceptionally high expectations of The Chumley House given the Duro Hospitality's team of over the top service, culinary expertise, and cocktail ideation. The expectations were not only met but far exceeded. The team at Duro has once again gone above and beyond to create a memorable "experience." Not just a meal, but a true dining experience that you don't want to end. Alas the bill comes and your willing to pay for the symphony of hospitality that has just been bestowed on you. This is a fantastic attention to Fort Worth's food and beverage scene. Well done...we will be back!
From the moment you walk in you're greeted with a warm welcoming staff. It just gets better from there. The seating is supple leather, and the decore is fitting to the theme. The drinks are well crafted, pasta made fresh, steaks perfectly crusted and evenly cooked. But I need to express how good the stroganoff and the lamb are. The stroganoff is a twist on what you may think, but just try it, trust me! That said, I've traveled the globe in search for amazing lamb. Little did I know that some of the best I've ever had is here in my back yard! If I could give this place 6 ⭐'s I would. Thank you for treating us like family and for the wonderful food.
We went here for our anniversary and it was exceptional. Every aspect — food, decor, vibe, service. We sat at the bar and it was perfect. Couldn’t have asked for anything to be better.
Awesome place! Great food. Music can be a bit loud at times making conversation difficult if you are at a big table or with multiple people. We were there as a couple once and it wasn’t hard but bigger group is challenging at times.
Service was amazing! We had Sunny and loved her. All of the food was phenomenal, the drinks were great too. Def recommend
Omg! I love this place. Everything was great, from the moment I crossed the door, to the end of the night. The personnel was amazing, super friendly and serving. Ally and Ivan were just the best. Brendan super caring and nice. The atmosphere was just as perfect!
This is my new favorite upscale Ft Worth restaurant👍 The food is superb, but I really love the intelligent and attentive waitstaff.
Dinner was absolutely perfect. Our server, Mike, and the manager, David, were so attentive. The food and service were excellent. Highly recommend!
Another hit by Duro Hospitality. Outstanding food, service, and atmosphere. We will be back!
The food is wonderful. The service is great. We were the group that probably stayed a little too long but they did a phenomenal job giving us the queue to leave without being rude or unpleasant. The experience is expensive but worth every penny.
Delicious food, delightful wait staff and a remarkable environment! We had the new Sunday Dinner and it was over the top amazing! We will definitely be back as I'd love to try everything on the menu!
We had such a great night celebrating our anniversary at The Chumley House! The food was amazing, but the service we received from our server Aly was even better! She was so helpful, friendly, and walked us through the whole menu. Can’t wait to go back!
Please, before you die, get the Tenderloin Stroganoff Dumplings. I had them a year ago and I still day dream about them. They go down as my favorite dish I have ever had QUITE LITERALLY in my entire life.
This was one of the best dining experiences we have had. The restaurant had such a nice atmosphere and the food was incredible, however it was the service that truly made this experience stand out. From the hostess’ friendly greeting, to our amazing server, to the various staff that visited our table during the evening, we were beyond impressed. Fort Worth has so many great fine dining options, but this one is an absolute must visit!
Chumley House is easily one of the best restaurants I've ever been to, and it delivered on every level. The experience started strong—we were seated exactly at the time of our reservation. The atmosphere immediately stands out, evoking the feel of an elegant British manor or private club. It's a beautiful, intimate space with rich mahogany wood paneling, plush leather seating, and dim, warm lighting that creates an old-world charm. Our server was fantastic; she was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and patiently walked us through the menu, which was a huge help for our first time there. The food was the real highlight. We started with the Artichoke & Caramelized Onion Dip, a solid and flavorful appetizer. For our mains, we chose the beef wellington and the butter chicken pie, and both were showstoppers. The butter chicken pie was a brilliant tribute to one of Britain's national dishes. It had complex, delicate Indian spices that came through beautifully without being overpowering, all encased in a crust that was somehow perfectly soft and crispy at the same time. And the beef wellington—wow. I've attempted to cook this dish many times myself, so I know how much skill and experience it takes to execute it perfectly. Theirs was flawless. The pastry was flaky yet tender, the filet inside was cooked to a perfect medium rare and practically melted in your mouth, and the combination of mushrooms and ham brought it all together. As a side, we got the tallow popovers. As a huge fan of popovers, I can say these did not disappoint; they were pillowy, perfectly salty, and served with a delicious, high-quality butter. We finished with the sticky toffee pudding for dessert, which was the perfect end to the meal. It was rich, sweet, and had a slight saltiness that balanced it perfectly. We could not recommend Chumley House more highly. It’s a must-visit.
One of our favorite restaurants in Fort Worth & a regular spot of ours. The kitchen is always consistent & the group has consistently provided new dishes for us to try. What really makes this place stand out though is the service. The staff, ranging from the hosts to the valet to upper management staff, everyone always make you feel welcome and well taken care of.
My friend and I enjoy hopping around Fort Worth restaurants and trying new spots. We sat at the bar and ordered a drink and appetizer. This was one of the best experiences we’ve had in a while. The food and services was fantastic! What really made our visit was the staff. Everyone was so friendly and took the time to speak with us. I would recommend this restaurant as the perfect date spot. Will definitely be coming back. Thank you for a great experience!
This place is truly an experience! It feels like you’ve been transported straight to London. The food is outstanding, and the service is top-notch. Miguel was our server, and he truly made our evening wonderful! Be sure to try the artichoke and caramelized onion dip and the regal potato — they’re a must! This has quickly become our new favorite spot in Fort Worth! Plus, valet is included, which is fabulous!
The Chumly House was a wonderful dining experience. The cocktails were excellent, the appetizers were on point, and the main course was well prepared and generous portions. I would highly recommend for that special occasion.
I went to dinner at Chumley House last night and was very impressed. The customer service was top notch, from the attentive server to the manager who came by to check on our dining experience. The food has an interesting spin in terms of flavor and of ingredients. The decor was on point and you could tell it was a happening, high end place.
We have dined at the Chumley House several times with a future reservation booked. The service, food and experience are reflected in the pricing. The Chumley is a great fine dining addition to Fort Worth. The service is stellar, the food is delicious, and it feels as if staff and management take the customer experience seriously. Speaking of service, we highly recommend seating with Miguel, who is an exceptional server with a mastery of the menu and is excellent with wine pairing suggestions. We look forward to our next visit!
I can't thank the staff enough for going above and beyond when my phone slipped between the wall and the seat. It was such a tricky spot, but the whole team came together and worked patiently to retrieve it. Their teamwork, kindness, and determination were truly impressive—and so appreciated! On top of that, the food was absolutely 10/10. Delicious from start to finish. Great service, great people, and great food💜
Our first time to dine here, and we loved everything! The king salmon starter was so delicious, and so was the crab pot pie and scallops. Our server, Linda, was friendly and helpful. We ate on the patio, and enjoyed a perfect spring evening. Will definitely go again!
My wife and I have eaten here several times and it never disappoints. Literally one of the best meals I’ve had in my life.
This is the best British inspired cuisine that I have seen anywhere in Texas. It rivals anything that you will get in London, truly a masterpiece to have here in Fort Worth. In addition to that, you get the charm, authenticity, ease in and out that comes with dining in Fort Worth- the capital of unpretentious luxury in the south. I would love to see more of these concepts coming to Fort Worth. The Beef Wellington here is just such a special dish. It’s so hard to execute correctly and they mastered it straight out of the gate. Ambience is great and both cocktail and desert menu is interesting. The only suggestion that I have it to look into stocking more specialty gins (Ransom’s barrel aged Old Tom Gin for a house G&T would be amazing).
Just wow! Mind blowing 🤯. The long bone lamb was incredible! Was complemented an appetizer, such a wonderful experience for a birthday! The butter chicken pot pie was incredible! Mimi’s box pie couldn’t ask for a better desserts! This might be my favorite concept of theirs yet! Honestly, I wanted to feel like I was at Dishoom in London and what I got was equally yummy!
Just wow! Everything was above and beyond! The sauces were spectacular—not too rich and full of layered flavors. I had the George Banks Scallops and my husband had the beef stroganoff and a side of the charred zucchini. Amazing. He also had the toffee based dessert. Our servers were wonderful too. The environment was cozy but just a bit loud for conversation. Not crazy though. The savory scone was also a nice touch and luscious! Really I can’t say enough.
Amazing restaurant. I went here for date night, it didn’t disappoint. The food was fantastic, the waitstaff were wonderful. Beautiful decor and ambiance. Sticky toffee pudding dessert was so delicious I still thinking about it. You want to go for sure.
Wow! Bought my husband here for his 30th birthday yesterday and as soon as we walked through the door they made him feel like a VIP! Best service I’ve ever experienced and being from England I loved the British flair they have and the food was outstanding, can’t wait to come back for our next special occasion!
Perfect! One of those meals that kept me thinking about it for the rest of the night. Excellent experience from start to finish, with a unique menu that was full of comforting meals The artichoke dip, Italian old fashioned, and an aviation to start was perfect. The tea and scone were very fun. The stroganoff was INSANELY good. Thank you for a great meal and evening
Amazing. Steak tartare was awesome. Pasta with rock shrimp. 11 on a scale of 1 to 10. Very very cool vibe. Will be back. Must visit if you are in fort worth texas.
Duro has definitely done it again. As a frequent visitor to their restaurants, we had high hopes and they DELIVERED! The butter chicken pie was amazing! They were out of the blue crab pot pie, which was disappointing, but we will definitely be trying it next time! Chicken Schnitzel was perfectly cooked and the steak was phenomenal. This might be the best restaurant Duro operates. Amazing!
I went to Chumley House for the first time tonight. We had the MOST amazing experience. Genuinely some of the best food I’ve ever had and the best service! Our meal started with tea and scones, and ended with complimentary dessert. I told our waitress Sara I loved the food so much and to tell the chef. She brought him out and we got to meet him! Sarah was the BEST! I will be back immediately and can’t wait to try more of the menu!
Service was fantastic. Atmosphere was too. Valet was free we got complementary tea before our meal. I ordered the chicken schnitzel, which was great. However the salad was served on top of it, so the salad dressing got onto the schnitzel which wasnt great. However this was definitely a great place to eat, i would recommend it.
We often stop by here when. we visit Fort Worth, and each time has been quietly lovely. The food is consistently well prepared, the beef Wellington and crab pie are especially comforting on a cold day. Our server, Aly, was gracious and delightful, adding an effortless ease to the evening. A place we happily return to.
Exceptional experience start to finish. Definitely one of the best dining experiences my wife and I have had. Y’all have hit the jackpot with Alyson. Unbelievable service and attention to detail. Beth, you and your team are all hits and no misses. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you! Whitney & Lance
I LOVE TCH! The entire staff is very attentive. The food is delicious. Beautiful atmosphere for special occasions. But I'll be back just because...lol. Even the bathroom smells like a rose garden.
Fantastic food and amazing staff. We had cocktails, oysters, a smoked salmon appetizer, NY strip, beef wellington, and a dessert, and everything was phenomenal. You can compare it to Bob's or Ruth's Chris, but it's actually better. One of my absolute all-time favorite meals. Looking forward to returning sometime.
We’ve enjoyed lots of great food over the years in FW, but Chumley’s just completely reset the standard for service, food and atmosphere! The cuisine was unique and perfectly prepared. We wanted to sample several dishes and each tasted better than the next. We had six in our group and they did a great job all around.
We came two nights in a row it was so good. The food is amazing. Every single bite. The cocktails are great and awesome service. Perfect place. Come here!
Absolutely stunned by our first dining experience at Chumley House! From the moment we were greeted by the hostess to the minute we were personally thanked by the restaurant manager, Hamid, everything was exceptional. We didn’t know what to expect since it was our first time trying Chumley House, and we were a little unsure about what an English-inspired restaurant would be like. But our server, Linda, immediately made us feel comfortable and welcomed. You could truly tell she has a passion for her profession — she paid attention to every detail, and her enthusiasm shone through in every interaction. I honestly cannot rave about her enough! Her descriptions of each dish were spot-on, and her deep knowledge of the menu was impressive. Every staff member who approached our table was attentive, kind, and patient with all the questions my boyfriend and I had. The food itself was outstanding — we tried the tenderloin stroganoff, the chicken schnitzel, and their regal potatoes. The sticky toffee pudding sealed the night. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. What impressed us most, though, was how we left feeling genuinely valued — like we were someone special. That feeling is indescribable and rare. We talked about the restaurant the entire ride home! Chumley House will definitely be a go-to spot for us, and we’ll be recommending it to all our friends.
We went here for My Fiancée’s 25th birthday and they did not disappoint. We had the pleasure of being served by Meagan! She was sensational, very knowledgeable about all of the menu options, attentive to us and our needs, and really provided the whole experience with the Human Touch! I’d recommend her serving to anyone. The food was also amazing, the flavors here aren’t very common to my taste but I was floored by the Beef Wellington, quail, and scallops. The sides? Superb. We had ordered dessert as well and the Biscoff Trifle was exactly what we had hoped for. For a birthday treat they also brought out the Sticky Toffee Pudding, and let me tell you… it stole the entire show for me. I’d recommend this place to just about anyone. 10/10 would recommend.
Lo mejor que ahí en fort whort delicioso la comida y atención lo mejor
Exelente restaurante
Excellent meal, great atmosphere, unexpectedly great. We went during the soft opening and had a wonderful evening at the bar. Lovely staff, excellent food - tea and savory scones to start with, followed by butter chicken pie and blackberry marmalade dessert. Great cocktails. We’ll be back. 🇬🇧
Gran lugar excelente comida muy elegante la decoración. Un poco caro pero vale la pena. Volverlo muy pronto.
Arrived on time with a reservation through Resy/open Table…short wait. Reception area and entrance to the restaurant is super awkward…time reception and when heading in you are immediately completley blocked and clogged by people waiting in entry of bar area so really tough vibe from the start. This place on a TH night is jumping and SUPER loud…maybe just starting to get cranky old?! But it’s freaking loud and difficult to hear staff and dinner partner, that’s it for the gripe. Menu is awesome and diverse and may be pricy but we’re about value so less concerned on that note. Only went to wine by the glass so be prepared for a reasonably small selection of Italian and French but we’re did really well with our wines…2009 Bordeaux blend via Coravin was outstanding. Salads were delicious…even drenched in dressing it was so outstanding I didn’t mind. Butter chicken pie for course 2 may have been the superstar of the night! Crust is perfect and the butter chicken was quite amazing in every sense. I did a basic filet, done perfectly with a horseradish sauce. Dining winner was the tetrozini soooo flavorful and served with grilled broccoli and Yorkshire pudding. Was glad it wasn’t just another steakhouse…lots of pie choices made me happy….great care and service without being too much…Miguel was a serious staff member that really delivered in every way! Just SOOOO LOUD
We went there to celebrate my husband’s birthday and we felt quite rushed to leave as we had just gotten desert and the waitress asked us if we wanted him to pack our wine. Which then we looked at each other confused and said no we will finish it here. It was pretty much nothing left anyway, but quite impolite. Besides that, the food was quite good. But def not 5* service for the prices. They spilled the water, the wine and my cocktail!
Good food! BRING A COAT! Loses 2 stars because the place is freezing(or it was the seat we were at). FYI it was 87°. Also slightly annoying that the seat waiters bar and computers were literally right over our shoulder while eating. Seems like a poor place for that.
Excellent service and wonderful ambiance. A really nice place for a special occasion. The food was good. Portions are very large. The beef Wellington serves at least two people. The beef tartare has a lot of additional ingredients and seasoning which was overpowering. The king salmon appetizer was delicious. Desert was disappointing. The sticky toffee pudding was dense and the rum in the toffee was not burned off. It was not good. If you spend more than what the restaurant considers your allotted time after your meal socializing you will be asked to leave to accommodate other reservations. It is a busy place. Valet parking is free with validation from the restaurant.
Food was okay, service was great. The main room was insanely loud. The table next to us was over served and were yelling so loud I could not hear conversation with my wife across from me. Wish they had planned for more space inside so it didn’t feel like a crowded pub. Would have spent more money on desert and drinks but wanted to get out of there so I could enjoy my date night w my wife - won’t be going back.
We’ve given this place two chances, and unfortunately, both visits left us underwhelmed—especially when it came to the food. While the service and ambiance are truly top-notch, the kitchen consistently falls short. On our first visit, the cacio e pepe was inexplicably swimming in oil—surprising, given that the dish traditionally doesn’t use any. On the second try, it was dry and completely flavorless. Sadly, pasta doesn’t seem to be the chef’s strength. The shrimp pasta was also a miss; the sauce had an overpowering acidic bite, likely from unreduced wine, and I couldn’t even eat it. The steak was average at best, and the beef tartare was so salty it was inedible. Credit where it’s due: the service team is excellent. They handled every concern gracefully and took dishes back without hesitation—perhaps because they’re used to these kinds of complaints. This restaurant has so much potential with its beautiful setting and attentive staff, but the kitchen needs serious improvement. Until then, it’s all style, no substance.
We had high expectations, as the restaurant is beautiful. We had reservations and were seated at 8pm. I ordered the beef Wellington, notwithstanding the $99 price tag. Entrees arrived at 9:30pm. We were fine with that, as we had appetizers and drinks, and enjoyed company. The waiter brings our entrees and proceeds to drop 1/3 of the beef Wellington on my wife's new $350 dress. We understood- it was an accident. The dress has grease stains, but the manager offered to pay for dry cleaning. But the manager did not offer to discount the $99 entree, 1/3 of which landed in my wife's lap. Most experienced managers would have recognized the restaurant's responsibility to make things right. Not this one. This is a one and done for us. We won't be back. There are many other great options in FW.
Aside from food being mediocre the server was so dismissive the entire time her name was (Bree ) she kept ignoring my side of the table and only referring to my other friends who were caucasian i was the only hispanic in the table , was only offered on drink and she ignored me the rest of the time, i had to ask the wine Somalia if he could get a french 75 for me after 10 mins or so of the server ignoring me, the manager came in her name is (Beth) to said they do not feel safe providing me a second drink cuz they felt i was to dunk from the first one and only drink they brought me the entire night, also they wanted me to consume more food after me ordering oysters and prawns, only after the table hear that conversation they all spoke on my behalf and set them straight letting them know that i was not alone and my husband was sitting right across from me, never in my life have i been embarrassed nor treated in a poorly manner like this place definitely did , i felt pick on and very disrespected, they definitely show a very racist and prejudice demeanor towards me , assuming i was intoxicated after one drink and me having eat my portion of food i will make a tiktok explaining this in a more open manner. For those interested on a more detailed explanation
This place must be desperate to turn over tables, we showed up for a reservation and were told no fewer than 10 times by the hostess, manager, server, and bartender that we had 1.5 hours to vacate the table. It was mentioned when we ordered and as each dish was presented. We were not offered a chance to ask about dessert, and were seated behind the bar and behind a coat rack. The service was not warm and the general atmosphere felt like we were not welcome to pause and enjoy a meal. Upon leaving the restaurant I received a voice mail informing me I had missed the reservation for the dinner I just ate, which doesn't help me believe the front of house had any organizational skills. Extremely cautious about taking anyone else I know here, was honestly embarrassed to bring colleagues here. Shame, if they would calm down and allow for a leisurely pace we would have likely doubled our $500 tab with additional drinks, dessert, coffee, etc. I think they tried to go for form and function and ended up with a fast casual experience at an upscale price point, which must explain all the cognitive dissonance.
Called since we were running late. Told that’d be ok but we’d need to be done at a certain time. Being told that the establishment is going to rush you when you want to enjoy a dinner leaves a bad taste in your mouth before it even starts. Whoever the hostess was does a really great job in creating a terrible first impression of this place. Doesn’t really matter how good everything else is, why would we pay a premium for a bad experience?
