Good place, good service and good portions of food.
Incredible food and prices. Very friendly staff. Thank you, we will be back. They gave my daughter free stickers when she said " this isn't Chipotle, this is much better!"😆
Absolutely delicious!!!! Super friendly staff! Definitely gonna come back regularly.
Thus place is very good for Tacos. They are street tacos with corn or flower tortillas. You have a choice of proteins like carne asada, carnitas, chicken ect. The food is delicious. The service is fast.
OMG come try the new fiesta chicken Mulita immediately to make sure it stays on the menu. Yum!!!!!!!!!!!! The new fiesta chicken Mulita is grilled chicken with a bit of seasoning. Finally a grilled chicken that tastes as fantastic as their other meats. The old standard chicken is a boring boiled chicken, I’d warned my friends to get anything but that. My normal go-to is chicken as I consider it the healthiest “meat” on the menu but the first time I visited Tio Flacos they only had boiled chicken which is exactly that - throw chicken in water and boil = blah - so I didn’t try Tio Flacos again for another year. Then due to convenience and the fact that I love its relaxed outdoor seating (and fact that they have CokeZero on tap) I gave Tio Flacos another shot and let myself get the carnitas Mulita which changed my entire opinion on Tio Flacos making me a guilty Tio Flacos addict. Guilty as I try not to eat pork often. However, the new fiesta chicken is super yummy! It blows away the old chicken and I think I actually like it better than the carnitas - a high bar to pass. From now on I’m a fiesta chicken girl!
Price is a little off when it comes to the serving of the tacos 🌮 😋 but them good I vanished them before I had time to snap them Hella good 👍 meat should pack them a little more.
We eat here about once a week. The food is so delicious. Made fresh to order. Quick service and the prices are so reasonable. The salsa choices are wonderful.
Don't miss out on Taco Tuesday! We are patrons of this local business. Try the carnitas and chips and don't miss the "kinda hot" salsa, of which you can also order it by the cup. Friendly staff and locally owned.
Tried their chicken (pollo), carnitas, al pastor & carne asada tacos. I like thwae al pastor, carnitas and carne asada. Tried the Kinda Hot (red), Hot (red), So Spicy (green), and Crazy Hot (red) salsas (photo). My favorite was the Hot (red salsa) it has the most flavor. My second favorite was a tie between the So Spicy (green), and Crazy Hot (red) salsas 😋 I'm a salsa snob so I'll definitely be going back on the merit of their salsas and that they have more than one good salsa alone.
I don't review places, but this place feels so underated. Very delicious. I got an asada burrito, drink, & the chips & guacamole. The meat has that charcoal grill taste and it was very thin and chewable! The the chips were thin and crispy and the salsas were on point. Also the place was very clean and neat 👌 (Yes, I am Mexican).
Straight up order your grub here. It's to easy. After that, eat and enjoy. FYI drinks and beer are available. Get down to the vibe and enjoy. My asada tacos were great.
Are you kidding me, 4.5 stars???Carnitas are trash. They taste like day old leftovers. Maybe they're leftovers from taco tuesday. You could smell the pig and the rubbery meat. Tastes like it was reheated by microwaving. Carne asada was decent, but nothing to rave about. My el pastor was dripping with oil literally my whole tortilla fell apart from all the oil. Plus got my order wrong. Charge me for an extra taco.
Very expensive. Dirty. Bad customer service. Don't come here if you want to be happy.
Expensive as hell to put it in perspective. 4 mulitas is $18. More expensive than 2 combos at in and out. More expensive than Tommy's for 2. More expensive than Baja fresh for 2. And more expensive thank Sharkeys in Irvine. You get less food for quadruple the price of any Mexican food joint. First and last time I'll ever eat here again. It's not even that great. In fact throwing away the food after spending $18 that didn't include chips or salsa was hard to accept. Lesson learned. Oh yeah they charge extra for meat, and there is no seasoning and it's just plain ol salt and a small taco sized tortilla. #ripoff
