Trattoria Nanni Frazione San Bartolomeo Reviews
The cheese focaccias are excellent, the first courses are wonderful, and the main courses and desserts are delicious. What can I say? We'll definitely be back. The place is surrounded by greenery with a panoramic view of the sea. The price is reasonable.
Warm, clean, and well-kept trattoria atmosphere. Delicious, traditional dishes from "grandma's lunch" that satisfy the heart and palate! Recommended also for the kindness of the staff.
I went with my family for lunch on Sunday and I have to compliment the owners and staff for their courtesy and professionalism, but above all for a divine lunch. The cheese focaccia was delicious, the pansoti in walnut sauce like my grandmother used to make, and the cima and roast beef were truly delicious. And for dessert, the classic pandolce, also made by owners Christian and Giovanni. See you on Epiphany to try more of your specialties.
Warm place, good service, passionate waiters, and traditional home Italian cuisine (0 mile food). Highly recommend! 🤌🏽🤌🏽
Wow 😲 thanks for keep this place so homemade!! Seriously felt like back when I was young ! 1. Service friendly and quick⚡️ 2. Food was absolutely spot on, basically food my family made it for me 😋 3. Atmosphere you can’t get much more home made feeling than this 🙌🙌 Definitely a place to try and spend a beautiful evening
Everything excellent, generous portions, above all everything homemade, except the bottled water! eh eh Luca is a phenomenon of sympathy. thank you, nice evening!
A truly legendary restaurant that I've been frequenting since 1978! Even though I live in Milan, whenever I pass through Genoa, my hometown, I always try to stop there. The food is truly top-notch: all the pasta is handmade and the portions are gargantuan. It's one of the few places where you can still eat the typical Sori focaccia. It's strictly family-run: over the years, I've seen grandparents, children, and now grandchildren come and go. The recipes have clearly been passed down from father to son, and the quality is thus guaranteed. The prices are truly reasonable, and when it's scorchingly hot near the sea, it's pleasantly cool there.
My wife and I had lunch at an inside table in this trattoria serving traditional Ligurian cuisine, located in the hamlet of San Bartolomeo on the hills above Sori. We had cuculli and panissa for appetizers, followed by mandilli with pesto and tagliolini greens with hare sauce for starters, and roast veal with potatoes and Ligurian-style rabbit for main courses. Finally, we had coffee. Everything we ate was delicious, plentiful, and especially the sauces for the main courses. The woman was very kind, friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, and the chef was also very friendly. Attentive and fast service, reasonable prices, and we will definitely be back to try the partridge.
A welcoming restaurant offering traditional Ligurian cuisine. For appetizers, they served rice cake, cuculli that were out of this world, and Sori focaccia... All delicious! The first courses, needless to say... spectacular! Mandilli with pesto, ravioli with ragù, and pansoti with walnut sauce... impossible to say which were better. The Genoese-style mixed fried fish was $10, and desserts... well... the strudel was phenomenal... what can I say... the price was ridiculous. We'll definitely be back as soon as we can!
Super
Ravioli ravioli ravioli!! Best in town
Cibo ottimo. Mandilli de sea (lasagne al piatto) al pesto impastate da loro, pesto ottimo. Il mitico fritto misto all'italiana super. E poi basta..non ci stava più niente. Portate abbondanti e soddi…
Pleasant trattoria on the heights of Sori and precisely in San Barrolomeo with a glimpse of the sea of Sori, this trattoria is linked to memories of youth when on Sunday afternoons you would come with your girlfriend to eat fried cheese focaccia, even today after 40 years they make them as good as they were then, today I returned on Sunday on the occasion of Mother's Day and I ate well pansoti with walnut sauce ravioli with mixed Italian fried ragù and fried focaccia to recommend for a pleasant trip out of town, there is a small car park and if there is no space you can park in the former football pitch
The location is good, but the view is limited and there's nothing nearby. The menu doesn't have much choice, but the dishes are truly delicious. The service is very attentive and the staff very friendly. For an appetizer of two focaccias, a first course of tagliolini with hare sauce, a second course of mixed fried vegetables, a sorbet, and a beer, I spent just over €30 (splitting the total Roman-style with others who ordered more or less the same things).
Typical Ligurian homemade food and trattoria atmosphere - friendly
We went to this restaurant to celebrate my dad's birthday. A small girl was there too, and we asked if they could have plain pasta. They brought us mandilli all'olio, which, being homemade, I would say, became a real treat. The focaccia appetizer was ok, and the panissa. They first told us they didn't have the portions, and then they corrected it. The first courses were good for those who ate them. I had the cima with a salad, and it was good. One person asked for salad, but they told us the tomatoes were out, and shortly after the salad too. I had to call the waiter several times for courses that didn't arrive. Honestly, it's not a place that will remain among my favorite restaurants, but it will remain in my memories for the unbearable heat. Maybe because, despite everything, I was a little disappointed by the mandilli... they charged us as much as the pesto. It's not because of the two euros, but given how the evening went, maybe they could have revised the price of the course. Maybe we just went badly. The evening was very chaotic and some mistakes can happen to anyone, maybe the two of us will go back to try it again. Thanks anyway, I give you 3 stars!
Very friendly staff, so-so food, especially the Ligurian-style fritto misto: to make it, they open the fridge, see what's left, and fry it up to serve. The cheese focaccia is very good, though! The location is so-so: the space inside is narrow and closed in, but there are windows that open onto the sea with a picturesque view. Depending on the time of year, you can smell the manure from the fields outside, as it's located in a rural area. The price and location are those of a true trattoria!
We ate here yesterday, December 26th.... a group of 15. The starters were quite good, but the rest was to be avoided... None of us would eat here again.
A disgrace! The whole lunch—I feel sorry for the friend who brought us, who was so keen to make a good impression—was a complete disaster, from the panisse that weren't there, to the undercooked and inedible focaccias with sour stracchino cheese. The pansoti were topped with a sauce from the last century, and the main courses (what was there) were disgraceful. Conclusion: never again.
