BK's China Bistro Fremont Reviews
One of our go to places for dim sum. There aren’t any carts going around as the dim sum isn’t cooked until you place your order with the server. You do have to wait at least a few minutes for your dishes to arrive so don’t come here if you’re starving. When the dim sum does arrive, you can taste the freshness!
Stopped by BK's Bistro for some Saturday lunch dim sum! Two of us ordered: -tea $1.25/pp -steamed shrimp pork dumpling (shumai) $6.19 -chicken feet $5.19 -steamed shrimp dumplings $6.19 -steamed shanghai style dumpling $6.19 -steamed beef tripe ginger green onion $5.49 -pan fried pot stickers $5.19 We definitely ordered a lot for two and had some leftover. Could have gone without the pot stickers. XLB was on the heavier side and stuck to the tin. Chicken feet and shumai were good. Staff was friendly. Dim sum experience without all the chaos and carts bumping into you. Easy parking in the area.
Good place for Dim Sum with very reasonable price. They offer you both inside and outside sitting. Service is good too. Highly recommend the Dim Sum menu. They don’t have the carts as you see in most of other places so you will need to order your food first and wait for them to come.
Wow, first visit here and it's a solid 5-star experience all the way! The service was top-notch; they were really attentive. Unlike your usual dim sum joints, everything was made to order, which was fantastic. Portions were really generous, and can we talk about the pricing? Totally reasonable. I ended up paying 70 for 6 plates, 1 kitchen specialty, and 2 hot teas. Seriously, 10 out of 10, would recommend without hesitation. I'm definitely planning a return visit!
Their salted egg pineapple buns were really good! That is a rare find, and it was done really well. I ate it so fast that I forgot to take pictures! Their special crispy shrimp rice rolls were my next favorite.
You can get all your favorite dim sum here. You will also find some that's not available elsewhere. Quality is great and delicious. If you around lunch time, the wait can be pretty long though. That's especially true on weekends.
First time trying this place, and I am giving it 5 stars all around! The service was excellent as they were attentive, food made to order - unlike your typical dimsum restaurants, the food portions were generous, and the pricing was completely reasonable. I paid $70.44 for 6 plates, 1 kitchen dish, and 2 hot teas. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be coming back.

First time dining in. Really liked everything we ordered off the menu! (Shrimp rolls, spinach and shrimp dumpling, chicken feet, beef tripe, braised beef noodles, clams with black bean sauce). The dim sum was made to order and came out hot, the chefs special dishes had large portions for the price! Definitely coming back again! Its a little hole in the wall place, but has really great Chinese food if you're looking for dim sum and authentic dishes. They also have lot of vegetarian options!
Always good. I come here to eat whenever I'm in the area. Best canto food and in a clean and nice location with plenty of parking. Is located in the parking lot of a business area, which I find kind of weird but totally awesome for the fact that it's easily accessible. This place also serves dim sum thoughout the day, which is a total plus in my opinion because most places don't serve them some past 2:00 p.m. The dim sum is actually pretty legit and traditional. You can get pretty busy during lunch time, but it moves pretty quickly.
ordered salt and pepper fish fillet, salt n pepper chicken wings, and black bean spare ribs dimsum. all of them taste good. just want to let everyone know that the salt and peppet fish fillet on this restaurant is a big fillet, not a bite size fried fish fillet.

It’s a decent dim sum place in downtown Fremont. The food was good and the price was ok. - Steamed BBQ pork bun: good. The bun was soft. The filling was a lot and tasted good - Siu mai: good. They had good size and the filling was flavorful. - Chicken feet: hubby liked it and said that it was delicious - Rice noodle roll with crispy donut: good. The rice noodle was slightly thicker than my liking but it was soft and chewy. The chinese donut was cripsy. I wish they gave more sauce and the dipping sauces (sesame paste & hoisin sauce) as well - Crispy durian puff: just ok. The pastry was crispy and delicious. The filling was generous but the durian taste was weak.
Haven't been here for 3 years and the food is still decent. We went on a Sunday around 1:30pm and there's no wait. Service was good (not sure about the bad service reviews). Foods are still really on point and delicious (I'm Cantonese from HK, so I know what's legit). All the dishes are under $10 so I think their price point is great. I ordered 8 items, only 1 of them tasted "whatever", so minus one point for that.
Got dim sum here. Each entree is minimum around $5. I thought the shumai was nice and juicy. Tofu Skin roll is also decent but a little oily. Order on a paper and items are brought out.
We love to come here for dim sum, which they make after orders are placed, so they come out very fresh, but it could take a little longer than usual. It's inside an office complex so you couldn't see it from outside.

Decent sized portions, pretty fair pricing, everything made to order so its really fresh. Careful most is piping hot.
The house special braised beef is overpriced. It’s made with tomato and some kind of soy paste, which is not what I expected. The portion is small compared to the other dishes. We love the stir fry noodles. It’s the best part of this meal. Our biggest complaint is that they didn’t turn AC on in the warm afternoon. It was too hot and we were sweating while we ate.
Good food, fair prices, and lots of parking spaces atmosphere! Service can be hit or miss, but the quality makes up for it.
Decent Dimsum but nothing wow. The wonton noodle was a little disappointing. Noodle is dry and wonton not much taste. Rice noodle and shrimp ball skins are quite thick

I normally don’t leave complaints or negative reviews, but this experience was serious enough that I felt I had to share. I ordered seafood congee and wonton soup for takeout, and when I opened them at home, I found a hair in the congee and what appeared to be insects floating in the wonton soup. This was extremely upsetting and raised serious concerns about food safety. I couldn’t eat any of it. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and improves their hygiene standards.
‼️ Warning ‼️ Be careful They want more TIPS !l, This is 2nd times already. They want a lot of tips even we paid for the tips and they want MORE . They said there is law to pay more about Tips! That’s so funny 🤣🤣 Make sure to give a lot of tips if you dine in. The cashier lady with short hair said “NEXT TIME YOU ONLY COME FOR TO GO” That’s how they treat customers. Watch out guyss!!
0/10 would not and do not recommend. The food itself is just bland and bad. The caveat of my awful experience though, was literally just paying. It should be noted they only visa or mastercard- which is fine (although not noted anywhere at all). The waitress literally slammed my (discover) card down, said they can't accept, and then went on about doing five million different things. I literally just went ahead and paid by making an order online, but honestly I should've just walked out. The food was literally so bad, the only thing I could finish were the spring rolls. Just a tacky experience overall- genuinely ghetto.
