I work for a restaurant but I prefer to eat their food everyday. It's decent real Chinese food. The staffs work with smiles on and the food has been made with heart.

This restaurant is still in its COVID transition phase as it still has a lot of take out prepared foods prominently displayed in the store. The foods here will no be like regular American Chinese food, but if you’re looking for Taiwan Chinese food then this is your place. Everything I got here was great and reminded me of Taiwan. The restaurant decor is nothing to write home about, and cash only.

Salt-baked chicken, scallion pancakes, dumplings. This is where I had my first Chinese meal in Seattle in two years. Delicious.

All of the food here is so delicious! My parents order from here all the time and I love the steamed buns, the crispy fish, and the fan tuan! The people who work here are also super nice.

This place is a great spot for authentic Taiwanese food, and a bit of a hidden gem. First off, the food was fantastic. Everything I ordered was fresh, flavourful, and delicious. Their menu has a wide variety of dishes but my personal favourite is the zongzi. Their portions are very generous, especially considering the prices. The staff are all polite and service is pretty quick. Only bizarre thing to note is that when you pay with cash, you have to put the cash into a wok rather than just hand it to the cashier (I'm guessing it's just a habit after the pandemic). The place has a pretty underwhelming atmosphere but is quite clean and well kept. Overall, I'd definitely recommend checking this place out.

Good food, good selection. Homey environment. Things can get hectic when they are busy. But that might just be the nature of this business. Always been the same faces working there every time I go for many years. Good thing I suppose.

When we were tired of other regular places, we came here. Not bad. I like the SeaFood-Chow-Ma Noodle. As long as it is fast, why are we expecting any so called good services from this place, otherwise we should go high class Chinese places right?

This place has a lot of selections on Taiwanese food. The food is average and the store isn't the cleanest. However, the price is very decent considering how expensive Bay area has become in the past a few years. I gave this place an extra star for the friendly price and large food selections.

Good quantity and price for the food. They sell Taiwanese food. It taste great, but not Taiwanese style. More like a mainland China Style. And they only take Cash BTW.

It is considered a popular Taiwanese street food and served with a red(-ish) sauce on top. Pricing is 5.25 each + tax. Each meat dumpling is individually wrapped in plastic wrap, making it simple to purchase however many you want. It will come with a small tub of sauce, so the shop prefers that you purchase the dumplings in sets of 3 or 4. (I have no idea how sauce is presented to you if you order a single dumpling.) Staff at the shop was pleasant enough. They let me take photos and answered my questions. I paid cash. I didn't look to see if they take card or alternate payments. I don't think so? Parking in this shopping center can be absolutely crazy during meal times. Crickets empty at 7pm sometimes. Best to bring a driver and a shopper where the driver just waits to pick up the shopper without needing to locate a parking spot. Takeout is probably best. I will brave the parking lot to return when the family starts requesting meat dumplings again.

Menu has clear English and numbered. The price is good. I would go back but only order those items that suits your pallette. Update: I went back several times and the service was good and food was very good.

Only tried their yang Chou fried rice & for <$10 (tax & tip incl), its a steal but better than that, it's delicious! It's close to home & I get the fried rice to eat with something I'll cook at home. Had it with a rib eye steak dipped in soy sauce + wasabi dip 👍😘

If you're American Chinese like yours truly you rely heavily on google translate if your reading ability is not up to snuff or simply non existent. That said, if you can somewhat get by it's "safe" to come here. I do not recommend going here without help for your first time if you don't have any clue how to speak the language or what we are referring to in the reviews. They have available certain breakfast foods on weekends and are also open earlier than weekdays: Lotus leaf wrap (bit fatty, tons of peanuts, has salty yolk) (粽子） Savory/salty soy milk (鹹豆漿） Taro cake (芋頭糕） Rice Mochi exterior with chicken meat filled "buns" (lady just calls it 肉餅) Savory rice "pudding" (碗粿） There may be pan fried buns (餡餅) egg pancakes (蛋餅） I also tried the Lamb and Cumin stir fry (孜然羊肉炒）Good but way way too spicy and a bit too much celery for me. Everything was good but I really loved the taro cake and what I deem the meat mochi and the savory rice puddings. I would get more taro cakes, meat mochis, rice puddings, and try the soy milk and next time skip the lotus leaf wrap and lamb cumin stir fry entirely.

The service is definitely lacking, the restaurant is run down, it's kind of dirty - it's the epitome of a hole in the wall. However, the return you get for your money is well-worth it. Come for the taste and value.

The server’s attitude is terrible and she was really impatient with answering our questions or helping us get seated. There was only one table open but it had leftover food, and she did nothing to help clean up the table so we could sit.

Ummmm.... where do I start? I understand cheap Asian food is typically associated with poor service, but this place provides worse than poor service. What's the word that I'm looking for? I'll just be polite and say it's one of the restaurants with the worst customer service that I have been to. And I have been to more than a few restaurants. Food came out quickly (hence the 2 star). Unfortunately great speed did not come with great food. Except for the white rice everything else was bathed in oil. There was a thick coat of sheen on stir fried flat noodles and stir fried tofu/pork. I am very sure anything with the word "stir fry" in this restaurant equals to "generous oil". Xiao Long Bao came out way too mushy. The dumpling could not be picked up without destroying it. Don't understand other high reviews.... Did I order wrong dishes?

Their staffs are not nice to customers. Several customers waited a staff to order for long time. When my friend needed a service, a staff didn't answer her. I needed to refill a cup of ice water, but she allowed me to wait for long time. My order was served so late to come our table. Lastly, they didn't provide a good service and force me to pay 15 % of a tip for the lunch time. I will not go there again.

This is not Taiwanese food at all! Be careful!! Chef spoke Cantonese without any sense of cooking Taiwanese style food! They don’t understand how to cook Taiwanese food at all! I want to give negative 5 stars in this restaurant while I tasted their stir fried pork, spicy fish chips and reddish and egg omelette.

Horrible and unforgettable service and experience. One of them will ask you whether to order some of their more expensive dishes, and didn’t even have a smile. I didn’t want to give them much tips as they have no service at all, but they stopped us and ask for tips. What a good service.

Update: I cannot express how disappointed I am of this restaurant. Tonight, my guests and I had dinner at this restaurant. We ordered 3 main courses and when we went to pay the bill, we found the receipt much higher than anticipated. Upon closer inspection, we found they added another course to the bill. When confronted, the waitress said to the manager responsible for the bill, "I ALREADY told you NOT to add this to their order." The waitress apologized and removed the FAKE order but the manager was silent and was most likely ashamed for getting caught. This is NOT how you do business. Cheating a loyal customer is NOT a sustainable business practice. This will hurt your business in the long run. If this business is willing to cheat a LOYAL customer who has come to your restaurant for YEARS, I cannot fathom what goes behind in the kitchen and what ingredients go into the food, as well. This business has lost a loyal customer and I hope this will be a good learning lesson for them. My 5-star review from 8 months ago: Whenever I visit my family in California, we always eat here. Food is excellent, especially their soups and prices are reasonable. Friendly service makes this one of my favorite restaurants in Fremont.
