I am not sure how to describe how I feel about this place because the combo issac toast that I ordered is something unique. After ordering this twice, the only thing that I can say that this is a good sandwich. Especially at the price it goes for ~8.50 (can't exactly remember) and with tax its goes for about 9.37. The only flaw that I can say about this sandwich is that it can get messy to eat so watch out if you need to make a good impression. Note: Take out only so plan accordingly where you're going to eat. The parking lot can get filled up easily since its in a plaza filled with a lot of other businesses. Would I come back? I definitely would. To people who are expecting the same rice junky menu from the other locations, this place's menu is different. Photos: shot on Pixel 9 Pro XL

Excellent food and quick service. We ordered the smoked salmon sandwich, combo Isaac, ham and cheese Isaac, and the beef kimbap. All had good flavors and tasted fresh. Finally was able to try this place. They close early at 3pm so we never got a chance to try it. So glad we tried it today for an early lunch. Good price for the food. Most items were between $5-8. We will be returning to try their other items. Highly recommend.

This is a cute little take out place with fresh yummy Kim bap and onigiri but Korean style. And great sandwiches. Tteboki was very good.

It is a take out only place. We got bulgogi bowl, pepper chicken bowl and pink lemonade. The food was delicious. The portions are generous. The quality was pretty good. The lemonade is very potent and comes with ice, pieces of lychees and fresh raspberries. We had to wait for the food to be fixed for about 10 mins. The plaza itself is very sketchy. Rice Junky itself has a nice place. I hope the Plaza will improve over time.

The food is soo delicious & flavorful. The wait wasn’t bad at all but I did go on a Monday afternoon while waiting for my laundry a few doors down. The inside is so cute & the staff was so nice & helpful.

I got a sneak peek at the new Issac Toast coming out this October, and let me tell you—it’s a game changer! The price is super affordable, which is always a win, but the real star is the taste. It’s absolutely amazing! If you’re looking for something quick, tasty, and budget-friendly, this is it. Definitely worth the hype, and I’m sure it’s gonna be a hit once it officially drops.

I got the CC chicken wrap with kimchi fried rice and omg! Epic. Sooo freaken goood! They packed it with chicken, it was falling out of the wrap! Super tasty 😋 and super filling, even enough for 2 meals.

It's an interesting combination of flavors, definitely good for snacking, or for take out. It looks like they introduce new items ever so often, and there's a level of innovation. I was also a bit mesmerized by how the neon schedule does not display on video.

This spot is super tiny but busy so ordering ahead is a pro tip. There are not any tables for eating, just a counter. I enjoyed the egg-salad sandwich with ham, cucumber, corn, and buttered wheat bread quite a lot. The pork bulgogi onigiri had great flavor, and I was quite impressed by the inventive wrap that separates the nori so that it doesn't get damp. I was not quite so excited by the bacon kimbob, in part because I like my bacon crispy and this wasn't quite there. It's also quite dry. Other Rice Junkies in the Bay Area have a specialty wrap with macaroni salad and a range of sauces, but this seems to be the first one that they're experimenting with toast-based items more. I did not try the Issac toast, which is their signature item here that features an omelet inside of bread. I would go back to try that.

Absolutely loved their egg Kimbap—fresh ingredients and very filling. But their sandwiches were a bit too saucy for my taste... I would still come back to try more varieties of Kimbap. :)

I had the combination Issac and while I'm not a fan of whatever was sweet in there that tasted like jam, it was eventually overpowered by all the other flavors that made the sandwich great. Also something was wrong with the self register and we didn't know what to do for a while. Eventually noticed the try again button and the signature screen finally popped up. So just a note to the owner, the POS might need a reboot.

Workers are very nice and polite. For the money, you get a decent sized Korean wrap. I got the dope pork wrap with everything in it with the house BBQ sauce. Meat was nice and crispy and the flavors and ingredients blended well together. Would definitely go again. This is strictly for take out.

I really wanted to like this place. I think it’s got great decor (efficient in how they used the space), hardworking staff, and is incredibly instagramable (both in terms of the wings on the wall while you wait and the way the food is presented and packaged). We ordered a bunch of items: fish cake kimbap, onigiris, rice cakes, the combo Issac and the bulgogi sandwich. The onigiris and the kimbap were probably the most appetizing - but nothing extraordinary. The rice cakes were also okay, but a little pricey for its portion size. The sandwiches, however, felt like they were constructed for the snap/gram: great colors and great variety of items stuffed in. Taste-wise, I think it tried too hard to mix in western flavors and was a little too greasy. The bulgogi sandwich almost tasted like a Philly cheesesteak but with very sweet beef. Meanwhile, the jam/sauce of the Issac sandwich similarly took away from the overall sandwich. Great for sharing, but probably too much as an individual meal.

The drink selection was limited; soda, water, and a few Korean drinks in bags. The drinks in a bag would need ice that way it's not too sweet. I ordered the kimchee tuna triangle sushi. That was really good! My husband ordered the bulgogi Kimbap and the meat was super dry. The bulgogi kimbap was packed inside of a small box and about 10 pieces.

Really neat place and friendly staff. I ordered the beef bulgolgi sandwhich thinking it was interesting. Wet mushy bread and salty bulgulgi was gross. I'll try something else next time but I'm afraid to try any more of their sandwiches.
