Their Chili Chips were the main reason I came, but then I saw so much more and bought so much more!! I bought papaya salad, spicy (tasted great); KhaoPoon for my son, (also tasted great); Lao Sausage w/ sticky rice (rice was nicely textured and not dry, sausage surprisingly had clear noodles and tasted/smelled great); banh mi (freshly prepared in front of me) ; curry catfish (still havent tried but will today). Place is small but nicely decorated and it's their staff/maybe owner(s) very friendly 🙏

We enjoyed the papaya. Their brand sausage is my favorite, but the didnt have the bean thread version at that time. Other brands have chunkier pig skin and fat which i dont like.

I love their Their Mok pa/Mok Kai! Kids loved their chicken/rice, we tried their new sandwich bread it was also tasty. If your looking for a quick bite come try them out!

Food was quite good for a quick bite! Portion size was pretty generous for the price in my opinion. When I came here it took a little bit for the Fried Rice and Khao Piak however you can tell it was made very fresh! Definitely recommend everyone to stop by and try this out! Looking forward to trying their Pad Ka Pao & Larb next!

Small little Laos food place also connected to the gas station next door. They have hot and ready foods. I tried the fried chicken and rice. It came with 1 drum and 2 thighs, both still juicy and not overcooked. Skin was fried perfectly and flavorful. The rice portion was very generous, and I couldn't finish it. The dipping sauce was good, but i would prefer it to be more spicy. I also tried their baked eggs, flavor was good, and the dipping sauce was perfect. Thai tea was good but a too much creamer for my liking. I'm gonna go back and try more items on the menu. Nice people! I definitely recommend it!

Right by my house. I go here all the time. I love how many things they sell for such a small place. Very fair pricing. My kids always want me to take them here. Too many great dishes to name them all. . Note: I have noticed that places that are in gas stations, like this one, are usually better quality. The savings by being tied to convenience store and gas station allows them to be able to afford better service and quality. This one follows that same observation. Great job, Sandy!

Very good prices. Good food. Lots of my wife and kids' favorites. Very nice staff. They have also been historically really fast with my food. I would eat there evert day, if I could.

Food was amazing! We got sausage and sticky rice, pad Thai, papaya salad, chicken noodle soup, spring rolls, and egg rolls. Portion sizes were bigger than the other Thai/Lao restaurants we went to. Sausages is home made!! Tasted fresh and flavorful. Owner (I believe) was very welcoming, he explained every item to us and what ingredients they have in them. We definitely will be back! We found our new favorite Thai/Lao restaurant!

I got the chicken, kapoon, sandwiches, and papaya. They were all very delicious and flavorful! Didn't have to wait very long for the orders. Thank you so much for opening ❤️

I’ve been coming to Sandy’s since they opened, and I absolutely love it! I live just down the street, so it’s always a convenient go-to when I feel like eating out. The papaya salad is a favorite (of course!), but what really sets this place apart is the owner — they’re incredibly kind and even took the time to walk me through other dishes I should try. I love the family vibe here — it’s not just in the food, but in how they treat their customers. You feel it the moment you walk in.

Small place. I had the Laos banh mi sandwich. It was delicious. They just needed to toast the bread before making the sandwich. Papaya salad was good also.

I dont really write review but I will for this place. I love bahn mi sandwich and wanted to try it. Went in and bought 1 for basically 9 buck and it was literally like half of a typical bahn mi sandwich. The chicken plate was OK but with 3 peice of chicken for 9 buck also. I won't be going there anymore. Ill stick to ac deli, LA kitchen for the chicken plate and Huang long or saigon for the sandwich.

Store shares a building with a gas station. Small but spacious enough to do a quick dine in. Most people order to go. Usual Lao food, but i strongly recommend the Lao banh mi. Wow!! Similar to vietnamese banh mi, but more savory and spicier. They use smaller bread which doesn't cut up your mouth.

I've been here once and it was okay. It was my first time trying the chicken soup (khao I believe) and I'd try it again. The egg rolls I wouldn't try again though.

This is an honest review, and I hope the constructive criticism is not taken out of context. I really wanted to like this place and make it my new go-to spot for lunch. Since it opened, I’ve been there three times and have tried both the chicken and rice, as well as the sausage and rice, on each visit. On my first visit, the chicken was decent, and the portion size was fair, with 4 pieces. However, during my last two visits, the portions were slightly smaller, with only 3 pieces of chicken, and the pieces were much smaller. The texture of the chicken was drier, possibly due to overcooking or cutting into the pieces. One of my pet peeves with chicken is finding feathers still attached after frying, and unfortunately, on all three visits, the chicken drumsticks still had noticeable feathers. The flavor is decent, but when considering the competition nearby, in my opinion, it’s not as good as other places. The sausage rice appeared overcooked all three times. It was darker and looked overdone. The taste was okay, though I suspect the overcooking might have affected it as well. I understand this place is still new, and I hope they take these reviews into consideration. However, for now, I’ll have to go out of my way to my favorite chicken and rice spot, LA Kitchen.

Chicken was too wet for me skin seem uncooked. Laos sandwich is overflow with sweet sauce more like a candy sandwich. Give me the headache

The sticky rice is hard and not cooked thoroughly. This is the second time. The first time I bought it I thought I just got a bad badge of sausage and sticky rice so I let it go.
