Chuy's Frisco Reviews
Absolutely phenomenal experience! The food was out of this world – every bite was packed with flavor! The Mexican Tini was refreshing and perfectly crafted. And the Boom Boom Sauce? It goes with everything – absolutely addictive! On top of that, the service was outstanding. Friendly, attentive, and made the whole meal even more enjoyable. Can’t wait to come back!
This location is well managed. Never had a problem with service. It can take a while to get seated, but doesn’t take long to get your food/drinks. Chuy’s salsa is always fresh and is my favorite of any Tex-Mex restaurant. The salsa is consistently great, but the heat varies, so have your drink in front of you before you dive in.
I’ve eaten at several Chuy’s in Texas and Tennessee and have found that they are consistently good! This one is no exception. We were seated quickly for a Saturday night and the service was good. I had the Elvis Presley Memorial dinner and it was great! The enchiladas (beef, chicken & cheese) as well as the taco, rice and bean was way more than I could eat (was actually enough for me and my wife…especially after the chips and salsa). Lastly, my favorite salsa is the Hatch Green Chili…not too hot with a great flavor!
Delicious! Went with a group of friends in town for the Texas Pinball Festival. Very tasty Tex-Mex food. I had the chimi, with the spicier sauce and it was super-delicious. Really loved the jalapeno ranch sauce! A buddy of mine got the boom boom sauce burritos, 4 days in a row! There's a reason this place is always crowded!
We had a wonderful experience at Chuy’s thanks to our server, James. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. He checked in at the perfect times without being overbearing, and his positive energy really added to our dining experience. It’s clear he takes pride in providing great service. We’ll definitely be back, and hope to sit in his section again.
Ah Chuy's, your Chicka-boom-boom rocks my 🌎. I came for lunch and was seated quickly. My server was friendly and efficient. I didn't even have to ask for the jalapeno ranch dip, was brought out quickly as well. My favorite dish to get here is the chicka chicka boom boom enchiladas. I love the sauce on the enchiladas, I did notice that there wasn't a ton of chicken in them though. If I had a positive critique it would be to add more. Was served with refried beans which were piping hot and Mexican rice. The decor of Chuy's is fun and bold, lots of brash trailer park treasures such as hub caps on the ceiling, dog art and wood swimming fish throughout. They have an outdoor patio complete with an Elvis bust. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Always and enjoyable dining experience, I will definitely be back.
James was a wonderful waiter. Very attentive. Always kept our drinks filled up. Definitely a “10”. Food was fantastic too.
Love Chuys but take out didn’t have any order ready on time nor did they come out to your car like most do. But the girl was sweet just had to wait about 45 min cause of how behind they were.
Fun atmosphere. Had to wait a little but it was Saturday and that’s totally expected. Great team. Bryce was out waiter. Always kept our drinks full and provided amazing customer service. I order the fajitas that blew my mind everything it came with. My husband got a burrito that he enjoyed too. My fav part of the whole thing is their creamy green dip. You have to ask for it!
We had a very attentive server, Maddie. She checked in on us often and gave us everything we needed. The food is delicious. I had shrimp tacos. I actually really enjoy the ranch dip that comes with the chips. And their chips are so thin and crispy! The salsa has a kick to it but also yummy. I feel like their prices are very reasonable for the serving size. The atmosphere is so eclectic with different artwork. 10/10, I would eat here again.
James is the absolute best. Talk about a ray of kindness. Flawlessly waited our table of 24. Best server here hands down.
This is a new place recently opened. People are as they are at other places. Very friendly and smiling all the time. Food quality is not compromised, it's still the same good and delicious food. Through it's really busy during the visit but everything was as it was. Really nice attire. It's in Frisco hence makes it the one of the crowded place. Now no need to drive for 10miles, through it's worth it.
Please visit! This place is amazing. Simple menu, with delish Tex Mex food. Service was perfect. Elise was attentive, prompt and courteous. We didn't have to wait for anything and when we felt we needed something... it was like she was reading our minds. The food was HOT and wonderful. The chips were not too salty with the perfect crunch. The salsa was fresh and not overly spicy. The bill was as expected but today we found a "new" place to treat myself with the wifey. Thanks Chewy's. We will be back! I highly recommend this place to everyone.
Festive atmosphere. Great food & drinks. The server was very attentive and provided excellent service!
The food is amazing. Its such a great rich tex mex flavor! Our grandson ordered the kids meal tacos and it came with a drink, a side, and an orange push pop for dessert!.He was thrilled.
I was served by the to go boy on monday, didn’t catch his name, but he was brown and had a cross necklace on. he was a nice guy, very respectful and well mannered . Brought my food out within 5 minutes of me getting there and overall respectful and good experience. Would recommend this great chuys in Frisco.
I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by the food and the service at this restaurant. The food was great and plentiful. But the service from our waitress was top tier. She knew the menu inside and out and gave great suggestions. We will be back… Give them a try if you’re in the area.
Been here for dine-in with friends. The place is very busy and there's a long wait during evening hours. They don't take reservations but you can join the wait-list online from the website after selecting a specific location. The ambiance is good, the staff is friendly. We had veggie enchiladas with boom boom sauce and chicken enchiladas with chicka boom boom sauce. Both were delicious. There are also complementary chips and salsa. The margaritas were very light. They do have virgin margaritas. The restroom is clean and the place is hygienic. Lots of space for parking available. I definitely recommend it.
We had delicious food that tasted high quality. Prices were good for the quality of the food. Our server was outstanding also. We were a pretty large party and she kept the drinks full and got us everything we needed. The tres leches cake was probably the best I've ever had.
Me and my friends we just love coming to this place 😍 As we are vegetarians we ordered Chuychanga without meat which was delicious as always. Our server Luke was amazing, he took good care of us and made sure everything was vegetarian. He just looked at us and asked if we were vegetarians😅 and then suggested what things we can order/avoid based on the ingredients. We also ordered Quesadilla, and as you all know the actual menu has Cheese Quesadilla on it but he himself said that he would add veggies in it specially for us, that was so kind of him 😄 The ambience is great 😍 overall a nice place to have fun and enjoy your food. PS: Please try Chuychanga with Boom boom sauce if you haven’t tried it yet!
Chuy’s, but I can offer some general information. Chuy’s is known for its Tex-Mex cuisine, and it sounds like you had a variety of vegetarian options. The Vegetarian Burrito, Chuychanga, and Enchiladas with veggies are typically good choices for those who prefer meatless options. The taste and overall experience was amazing and great staff/service. Location and dining experience was great and I recommend based on the flavors, service, and atmosphere.
We had a catering today, the packaging was perfect. Everything was labeled the food was delicious, beans were packed with flavors. Very satisfied highly recommended for parties and events!!!
This Tex-Mex restaurant blew me away with their incredible nachos! The portion size was generous, and each bite was bursting with flavor. From the crispy chips to the perfect combination of toppings, these nachos were simply outstanding. The service was fantastic, the ambiance was lively, and the menu had something for everyone. I highly recommend this place for a delicious Tex-Mex experience!
Our first time dining in at Chuys and it was much better than takeout. We went right at dinner and it appeared crowded but once inside we were seated right away. Our food arrived 15 mins after ordering and our waiter was very attentive. Everything was awesome and the prices were surprisingly good. Highly recommended for couples, families, and groups.
We went to Chuy’s last night to celebrate our friends’ anniversary, and it couldn’t have been a better experience! The staff and managers went above and beyond to make the night special — everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. The atmosphere was fun, the food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. It truly felt like they cared about making it a memorable evening. Highly recommend for any celebration or just a great night out!
Went for Sunday lunch but we went after 3 pm still they were decently busy. Ambience is really colorful . Staf is good. Menu options are not huge but whatever we ate was delicious and fresh . We had veg enchilada and chicken flouter both were good and portion size for perfect for a good Sunday lunch.
We had an excellent experience at Chuy’s in Frisco, and a big reason why was our waiter Cameron. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Our drinks stayed full, the food came out just right, and Cameron checked on us without ever being intrusive. You can tell he genuinely cares about providing great service. He made our visit even more enjoyable—we’ll definitely be back and hope to have Cameron again!
Since we moved to the country we don't get to eat here as often as we used to. This is the first time I've been to the Frisco location, but the food was excellent. Service was great. They were busy but we still got in and got a table with him about 3 minutes. Highly recommended.
I used an external service to order their catering and the delivery driver refused to take the order. However, the GM Andrew W. stepped up and delivered it and saved the day! We got the steak and chicken fajitas and they were excellent! The meat was tender and seasoned very well. We will definitely use them in the future!
Had a great experience at this location! Although it was busy we had quick and amazing service! Our waitress was amazing and who I’m assuming was the manager was also just as great! Every employee we interacted with was actually super nice. We are so pleased and can’t wait to go back.
The chips were warm and salted though they cooled down fast Salsa had more heat than I was expecting Queso was great and it came with some sort of creamy jalapeños sauce that was all cream no heat I got the king's memorial combo I have nothing but good things to say about it every thing was delicious Remind me more of cali-mex not Tex-Mex still a good inside The only downside to my dining experience was poor service and poor silverware you get this thin Fork that it's kind of hard to eat the rice with there's no spoon the napkin is pretty much nonexistent during the hour I was sitting down and eating after my server took my order I saw her once till she brought me my bill
An amazing restaurant for Tex Mex food. Drinks, food & ambience - all good. If you need a spicy sauce for your nachos, ask for extra spicy sauce that is an add on. Great quantity for the price. Loved their pina colada, enchilada. The bartender was very friendly and kept talking to keep us company. One of the best text mex restaurants in Frisco. Quick service. Mostly crowded. Weekends have long waiting time.
The staff here are incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere has a great vibe with a warm, welcoming ambience. One unique touch I loved: they have a dedicated pet wall! Bring in a photo of your pet, and you’ll get a free appetizer, such a fun idea. While you wait for your order, they serve fresh chips with salsa, which is a nice touch. The food came out in under 10 minutes, which was impressive. I usually don’t expect much from Tex-Mex spots since many tend to taste the same, but this place stood out. The enchiladas and fajitas were packed with flavor. Everything tasted fresh, especially the salsa and guacamole. Their signature sauces really elevate the chips, and the beef fajitas were perfectly marinated and incredibly tender. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back!
Chuy’s has been our go to place since before pandemic. Their chips and salsa is one of the best in town. Specially their creamy jalapeño dip. We also like their Margaritas a lot, specially Mango Margarita. Upgrade to a Grande version for a big sized drink. They offer kids meal as well along with juice and ice cream dessert at the end. They give kids crayons and drawing menu too. As for vegetarian options, they have Cheesy relleno, and they can also customize alot of entrees to make them vegetarian. This is our go to place when we are hungry! :)
Ordered the tacos al carbon and nachos. I've been to various locations, including this one. The food was very good. I really like the cheese enchiladas personally. The restaurant was clean and has a lot of character. The staff is always good. Doesn't matter if it's slow or busy, they have attentive waiters. Make sure to try the jalapeno ranch.
I normally wouldn't visit a restaurant with a 3 star Yelp review average. I the case of Chuys Frisco,I'm making an exception.\n\nIt payed off handsomely for me and Chuys Frisco resulting in a 5 Star …
The food was very good and I the service was good. I love all the decorations and the dog photos. It really ties up the ambiance.
Best salsa in Texas. Great happy hours. Yummy margaritas. Food is good. Loved the chicken fajitas.
This place is great . I had chicken fajita Quesadillas and my friend had the Elvis Combo . We loved the food. Will be going back. Service was good.
My uncle and I came here for dinner. I had the chicka-chicka-boom enchiladas and he had the deluxe enchiladas. We both enjoyed our meals. The service of the staff was great. We will come back again.

Food was really good service was prompt. We ate at around 5:30 pm on Sat night and had no wait time. Very affordable for four adults. Would recommend.

Chuy’s Mexican — 4 Stars Let’s get this straight right up front: I’m from Texas, so I firmly believe Tex-Mex is the only kind of Mexican food worth eating. And Chuy’s? Yep, it falls squarely in that camp. My wife and I dropped in for a casual bar visit—just a drink and a snack—and left happy. Chips and salsa arrived quickly (a must), the service was sharp, and while the atmosphere leans a little kitschy and budget-friendly, it works for what Chuy’s is going for. The beer? No taps, but they dressed our bottles with lime and salt in glasses, so we could pretend we were getting the draft experience. Honestly, that extra touch made it land just right. The food was solid, though not quite top-tier when stacked against the heavy hitters in the Dallas Tex-Mex scene. That’s why it’s a four-star spot for me—but don’t get me wrong, that’s still a strong recommendation. We’d go back without hesitation. Chuy’s knows what it is, and it delivers.
Food was good and ample amount. At the beginning they serve the nachos with salsa. The margarita taste could have been improved. The appetizer quesadilla was bad. It’s like taco they have presented. The ambience inside is vibrant and colorful. There is ample parking outside and bathroom was clean. The server was courteous and service was quick. Overall the dishes were not that costly.
My first time here. I think I'm finding out that I may not be a Tex-Mex kind of food eater. I mean. I like Mexican food. But I guess not the Tex-Mex combinations. I ordered the Tex-Mex enchiladas. I wasn't a fan of it. I'm sure there are plenty of others who love the taste. Customer service and wait staff was excellent. The atmosphere was great. It is an establishment that's worth the visit. So come on down.
The "veggie" enchiladas was mostly all onion with a little bit of corn, little bit of tomato, 1 tiny slice of zucchini... The flavor was decent, but veggies were sad. Add some bell peppers, mushrooms, spinach, cauliflower... Not just caramelized onions... Nice try, though. Aside from the extremely sad enchiladas with only 1 veggie, the service was great, and the house margarita on the rocks, also delicious.
I’ve had multiple issues with this particular location so I tend to avoid it. Decided to give it one last try for dinner and our server Jorge was AMAZING! Super sweet, very attentive and genuinely made our experience better.
Went there with group of six adults and two young children. The beef fajita burrito was said to be good the chicken burrito with scoop of guacamole was okay mostly beans and rice very little chicken. Fish tacos were said to be good and appetizer plate was greasy. Chips and queso with beef good along with atmosphere. Kids tacos were well liked.Very busy plan on a 30 plus minute wait during the week.
Came here with a friend for lunch and upon arrival there was a 45 min wait but we were seated within 30 mins. The customer service was very good here; no complaints on that. I ordered the chicken quesadillas and guacamole + chips along with a frozen strawberry margarita. Overall, the food was ok but I would definitely try something different if I were to come back. As always, the salsa and ranch salsa was good.
Nachos Man is back at it! I've heard good things about this place, so we decided to try it. Why have Nachos when they serve Panchos, right? First things first. The salsa is really good. The problem is that you can literally see through their chips. They break without even budging the salsa, so you need to find a strong chip and use that one to shovel salsa onto your chips. The ranch dip is also really good. Mixed in with the salsa and it is perfect! The Panchos are interesting. The chips are again a problem. While thicker than the ones for the salsa, they still are not strong enough to hold what they put on it. And the chip shatters when you take a bite, so these ultimately turn into a taco salad. I'm not a huge fan of refried beans on the nachos either. That was mostly all I could taste. The chips had good flavor too, but the rest of it got overpowered by the amount of refried beans. Definitely not a flavor party. Out of the different Nachos I've had, these were a solid 5/10. Not the best, but not the worst either. Jen got the fajitas, as usual when we try something new. These were more of a hit than the Panchos, but they were definitely missing something. The steak arrived sizzling on a bed of onions, but that was it for that plate. Who makes fajitas without green and/or red peppers? There was one small sliver of a red pepper, but that was it. Not sure what was going on there. The waitress was having an off night or was new, but I can't hold that against Chuy's. Everybody is new at some point and it was later on a Saturday night, so maybe it had just been a long shift. So other than weak chips, a little heavy on the refried beans, and a noticeable absence of peppers on the fajitas, it was a good experience. I would probably try them again to see if this was just an isolated experience with new staff or if this is just how it is before I got too critical. I left full and nothing we ate disagreed with us later, so all in all it is worth 4 stars.
Food was ok...I enjoyed my fajita tacos and fries....salsa was good...wife was a 4 out of 5....or 3.5 out of 5 with her enchiladas....said chix had no flavor, but she also liked the salsa... service was very good for a Friday at 6pm... atmosphere was like a busy diner.
We were here during Christmas week. Walked in and they had a 15 min wait. We stayed in the waiting area, which had a good decor. Once we got seated, we got the chips and salsa. jalapeno cream was amazing. Ordered Chicken Enchiladas with Boom Boom Sauce, Chuychanga with Boom Boom and no meat. Kids ordered Cheese quesadilla and enchilda. Chicken enchilda was amazing with Boom boom sauce, chuychanga was ok, wife said she wouldn’t order again. Kids enchilada was dry, although fries were good. Kids loved the pop up as as dessert Service and food were great, will make a reservation before coming by next time
We really like coming here. We try to sit at the bar and normally get a couple drinks and an appetizer or two. The chips with the jalapeno ranch dipping sauce is really good. My wife says they have good soup. I want to give a shoutout to one of the servers / bartenders. Karla has taken care of us multiple times. She is always attentive and very friendly. My glass is never empty and she is always recommending good things to eat. You should feel lucky if you get her to wait on you.
A group of us (around 8 people) went to the Frisco location around 4:30 to celebrate a coworker who is moving away. As relatively early as it was, I was surprised at how long it took to get a couple tables put together for our group - the place was not packed at all. Once we were finally seated, the service and food were great. I tried their raspberry margarita and liked it! Aside from the delay in getting seated, we enjoyed the visit and had a good time.
A group of friends, my wife, and I had lunch at Chuy’s and overall had a good time. The food came out hot, delicious, and full of flavor. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The only downside was the wait, about 40 minutes, which was longer than we expected. Still, once we were seated, everything else was enjoyable.
Went to the Chuy's in Frisco during our anniversary weekend! Had an unpleasant experience with the waiter. The manager handled the situation very well and even comped us. We live in Wylie but still decided to make the drive all the way to that same Chuy's. The food was good but the lady server was anything but cordial. I am not sure what the deal is but the place tends to just seem to put of any happy feelings. Even the hostess was Hum-Drum at best. Again though, the food was good and we did enjoy that part very much and we appreciate the management for seemingly handling our original situation with tact, and professionalism!
Ok food at good prices. I got the chicken enchiladas with the creamy tomatillo sauce it it was good. They stuffed the enchiladas with tender chicken breast meat. The chips were ok but the hot sauce was way too spicy. Right as I was leaving I noticed the people next to me had a variety of salsas to dip their chips in. I was never offered this. But then the bartender and most of the staff were lazy and not friendly or attentive.
We frequently visit Chuy's when we're in a city that has one (we don't). The ones in TX are honestly better than ones out of state. This one is true to the spirit. The waitress we had was a real Pro. Sincere, always around, and made us feel welcome and appreciated. I had my go-to Boom Boom enchiladas. Awesome, but they could use an extra heaping tablespoon of boom boom sauce IMO. My wife had the Chilli Relleno. They were very, very heavily breaded and deep fried which was very unusual for us and she ended up prying off the crusty layer of batter. Parking can be a challenge at peak hours but hey, it's that way everywhere.
Good food. Better to do booking before visiting or wait for 15-30 mins. Staff has lots of attitude. I requested if we can sit on a sofa seat which was empty and she said bluntly said "NO" and without giving me any reason. Later she gave it to a smaller group of people. I felt discriminated.

The only decent food here are the free chips and dips... definitely not a place to get authentic Mexican food. Most items are frozen prior to serving. If you want "Tex mex" that serves meat similar…
This location on Preston is a hit and miss. I've enjoyed the Chuy's restaurants for 12+ years, Austin, Sugar Land, Lubbock but this location the Panchos I normally order sometimes come out soggy and not crispy as they should. I go back every now and then, where when I lived in the Austin area, I'd visit multiple times a week.
First time dining at this location. Sunday evening wasn't too bad of a wait only 15 minutes. The wait staff struggled with our order and the quality of our meals just wasn't up to par. We have always enjoyed Chuy's Plano location so this bad experience may just be an off night for the Frisco location.
We went in a couple of days ago for dinner. Food was good. Ordered Tres Leches cake as usual which is our favorite for a to go as we were full. We opened it at home to eat but it was missing the syrup that is always a part of it. It was very dry to eat and not enjoyable at all. We order this dessert very often. This time it was a bummer. Sad
Our server, Jorge, was awesome. He gave us great customer service and was attentive. I will say my family and I have been to this Chuy’s a few times now and noticed the food getting saltier and saltier. Some of the sauces taste saltier and we had to ask for new chips because they were almost inedible. If you have hypertension watch out. Over all great service and food. I <3 Jalapeño Ranch

Nice staff, ok restaurant. The steak burrito was 65% refried beans, and small kid sized cubes of meat. Hardly a fajitas steak burrito. Smothered in sauce oversized deflated flour wrap. Sorry won't be back.
I usually come around dinner time, so maybe it's inevitable - but I get consistently wrong orders. Last time, they forgot the Boom Boom sauce on my Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and offered a gift card in return. I haven't received it yet, and it's been over a week. So, food is ok and service is meh.
First time to this restaurant, I will NEVER eat there again, that food was so disgusting. I only ordered a shrimp quesadilla and Spanish rice. That rice had some taste that was added but not authentic taste, and the shrimp I paid extra for was small, which was 2 in each. So disappointing, after a long day just wanted a good meal, ugh. The bartender was nice though.
We can't to taste their food for my wife's corporate event and very unimpressed. The chips & salsa is okay but there was a sauce they have, tasted like watered down ranch dressing, totally disgusting. I ordered the steak fajitas which was chewy! Not Chuy but CHEWY and tasteless! The customer service, our waiter was excellent so between that & the cool decor was about all the this place had going for it. Would not come back here again.
To start - this is my favorite Mexican restaurant food taste wise. The issue is, I order takeout once a week from here either pick up or Uber eats and every single time without fail the order is wrong. I can’t order it on Uber eats anymore because I’m not able to check the water and correct it. At least when I pick up, I can correct it and the managers will make it right. But it’s every single time, every single week. The order is either missing a component of it or isn’t what I asked for. They have no attention to detail with take out and you will not get what you order. Whether it’s the combida deluxe and you don’t get the queso, you order beef enchiladas and you get cheese, they’re missing the toppings on the upgraded queso and you just get regular queso. Like it’s always something no matter what. I hope that you guys work on this.

Me and my family are regular customers of Chuy’s franchise and this by far was the worst experience ever! The salsa alongside jalapeño ranch was near going spoiled. How do I know, you ask? I run my own hot sauce company and know when stuff gets bad. Seems as though extra lime was implemented in the salsa to prolong its flavor. The Jalapeño ranch as well was certainly not fresh and near its last life! On top of all of this, me and my family of 5 waited nearly 15-18 minutes before being serviced! Nobody acknowledged us in a room full of other families being seated and served!
Usually I have a good experience here when I eat inside. I decided to do a pick up order and i placed it hours ahead of time for a 6:25 pick up time. I checked in to my curbside spot at 6:24pm and waited until 6:41. Don’t recommend order ahead and curbside pickup!!!!!!!!!!!
Food took more than 30 mins and we saw the server give food to other people who came after us. Honestly, the waitress was mean to us too. And we asked them twice to give us food. Not a place to go if you’re really hungry. Dissatisfied :(
The waiters were talking about how people were acting in front of us and they would also talk about us asking them not to say a certain thing. Overall I think it was very unprofessional of them and they weren’t doing anything I would understand if it was only one of them up here.
The front desk seems highly un-trained on how to process wait lists. We checked in as soon as we arrived for the waitlist that we had joined 50 minutes ago… Saw the entire waiting area get empty in front of us that arrived after us, when asked how much more time and gave our name they asked if we had checked in … very frustrating experience to wait for over 50 minutes after arriving, checking in and being patient for the most time.
We were told there was a 30 minute wait and after waiting 35 minutes we were told there was a table , our party got up and were told the table was not ready! The individuals that were seating , were not attentive and seated parties our size before us. Very disappointed and will not come back!
surprised I always run in for lunch and the order is brought correctly in a timely manner and food is yummy today we ordered take out and the tortilla soup had no tortilla strips so now it is just soup and I specified the orders were separate and would pay together we had one chip I tried to call the order in to save time but I guess its better to order at restaurant
They should discontinue seating people in their work area. We were sat as a family right next to th table where there have 5 staff member yelling across the room sorting silverware. Extremely loud metal on metal ambient noise and the staff goofing around is not how I want to eat with my family. Then to act like it’s a crazy ride request to be moved to a different room. Pass on that.
We go to Chuys 2 or 3x a month because we love the sauces and the food. After a long trip we decided to have a to go because kids were craving. We went online to order the regular stuff we usaully love total to $64 but there was no option for chips and salsa. So we decided to call in to add to our order because it should be free. The girl we spoke with said we charge for the sauces. Unbelievable. When we dine in chips and salsa are free now you charge us for to go. Can you explain to us difference and logic why we can’t get our chips and salsa for free its absurb and deceiving to us customers who always are regulars there. For us, its not fair to be charge when we get it for me when we dine in. We wanted to speak with the manager and Eli the so called manager was extremely rude, arrogrant, and incompetent. Explaining our side and cuts us off while we speak and saying its our policy. Are you serious? This guy needs to know what customer service is, an embarrasment for the institution. We cancelled our order because we dont want to deal with managers who cannot fix problem for customers but instead he is problem of the institution. Well, we called Chuys Plano order online and gave them a call to ask for chips and salsa on the side and you know what they said “ that comes with your order and I will give you guys 2 sauces each” no if’s and but”s which is a true par excellance customer service and that blew our minds. Kids are happy we got our food and of course chips and salsa. That Chuys Frisco manager ELI needs to learn from Chuys Plano manager. Again He is an embarrassment to your institution! But Chuys, we still love your food. We gave a 1 because of our experience with service.
I ordered beef fajitas for two people and they only sent three tortillas. Were we supposed to eat 1 1/2 tortillas per person? The presentation of the food was terrible. My experience at the restaurant has been acceptable, but this is the last time I order carry-out. With this carry-out experience, you lost a customer. It's a shame because we usually order take-out on weekends. It's disappointing because this used to be one of my favorite restaurants.
Food is ok but the service sucks ! We sat waiting for our waiter for 15 minutes then we get our food and that’s it no more waiter ! I had to get up to get our check ! He didn’t check our drink or anything! I’m not hard to please just act like you halfway care. I guess the reviews speak for themselves cause this place superflysucks and i won’t be back !
We are normally big fans of Chuy’s and dine in or order takeout often, which is why this experience was so disappointing. I called to place a pickup order on my way home and the employee who answered the phone was extremely rude. Throughout the call she was sighing and huffing, had a very irritated tone, and made it feel like taking my order was a problem. Because of how uncomfortable the interaction was, I decided to call back and cancel the order. Her response was simply “okay,” followed by immediately hanging up the phone. Customer service is a huge part of the dining experience, and no customer should feel like they’re inconveniencing staff by placing an order. Sadly, this interaction completely changed our view of this location and we won’t be returning.
They really need to work on their service, on simple order having enchiladas n quesadillas they took almost an hour to bring it up and on the top of it they messed up the sauce for the kids food with a spicy one. Upon notifying that to the server that kids source is very spicy first thing she asked if we wanna continue or want check, at 9:45 pm after waiting for almost 1:20 hours in total having kids who were hungry she was asking if we want to continue. Being courteous is the very basic thing we expect while getting to a restaurant.
Came here for dinner and it started with chips and salsa which was immediately very spicy with no warning and I had sit there and wait for drinks with a burning mouth. By our waiters own admission the salsa isn't even consistent in how its prepared. Our table order an appetizer ($9) for what amounted to a bowl of cheese and when we got the entrees I realized that they just had put Pico on about everything. Please go anywhere else
It was horrible I’ve been here multiple times and it was great but this time it was different I came here with my grandma to have a joying meal but it ended up to be the opposite the service good to serve are stuff but the stuff they were serving was a nightmare to eat and tried to eat and ended up like this Ryan trahan please eat here for your 1 star restaurant videos
I have been to Chuy’s several times at different locations. This was my first time at this one and definitely my last. Service: Sat at the bar and waited for around 7 minutes until I was acknowledged. It was a slow Sunday and the bartender, Taylor, was busy with a 5-6 top. That was ok because I wasn’t ready to order anyway. I kept having to wait for Taylor to slow down and ask for a refill on water….”wait….i also need…” she wasn’t paying attention and avoiding asking if I needed anything else. I had to ask the girl helping her for more salsa (which Chuys salsa is some of the best hands down). I ordered the “bigger than your face” steak burrito, because I’ve ordered it before and it was quick and easy. Well, this particular time it took 15-20 minutes to get, which I wasn’t expecting, because the restaurant wasn’t even that busy. That’s all ok because I’ve been in the restaurant business for 15-20 years so I know how things can be so I try to be patient. The other bartender that was helping Taylor eventually brought it and the outside of it was hard like it was sitting under the heat lamp l/burners a little too long. I took a bite and it was nothing but beans. It took me like 4 bites to even hit the steak. When I split it open and looked, the steak was to the left inside the burrito and the rest was all beans. 95% of the burrito was beans and 5% steak. Maybe a total of 6 pieces of small cubes of steak. Even though the plate was super hot the inside was lukewarm. It was clear that I I didn’t care for it but at no time was I asked how is everything, what can we do to fix it, or anything of that nature. I asked Taylor to close me out and showed her that there wasn’t hardly any steak in there. “Yeah, everything is portioned out so there’s nothing I can do.” Well, the beans weren’t portioned out because there was a plethora of them. I wasn’t trying to be rude and I am not one of the complaining type, like I said I’ve been in the industry, but I didn’t want a $15 bean burrito…AND THE BEANS WERENT VERY GOOD. I have literally had better beans from Taco Casa. “Well when you come back next time I suggest you get the…” and I had to stop her there….”I know it’s not your fault but I won’t be back to this location.” This was probably the worst situation in a restaurant I’ve had in a long time. No “well let me get my manager” or “what can we do to make it better” just a “sorry there’s nothing we can do, order something different next time.” I paid my bill, and even though the service was sub par, tipped my 30% and got out of there as quick as I could. The girl helping Taylor was helpful and got me a Togo box. After a few hours of leaving my stomach wasn’t feeling good so I had no desire to eat what was left because what I ate at the restaurant didn’t sit well and had a bad aftertaste. There’s to many restaurants in the area to have this type of experience so I won’t be back (to this location).
