If you are looking for a spot that knows how to do drinks and appetizers right, Palato absolutely delivers. The vibe is lively, social, and energetic. This is not a quiet sit in the corner kind of place. It is perfect for catching up with friends, starting the night with cocktails, or just enjoying a fun atmosphere without feeling rushed.

Fantastic!! The BEST rigatoni I have ever had, truly. The tomato sugo makes a huge difference in the quality of the meal and truly makes this meal unique from other italian spots. Our waiter was extremely kind, along with the rest of the staff. Both managers were very attentive and ensured a pleasant experience, especially Carl! The menu is short and sweet, but you can be sure you’ll get a great quality meal out of it! The food truck nearby is open F-Sun from 11am-7pm for some more causal bites as well. The place is very tidy, clean, and stylish. I’ll definitely be coming back!!

Palato is a great breakfast option for guests staying at the HALL Park Hotel. The Belgian Waffle with warm maple syrup was delicious and the bacon was cooked to perfection. Their cold pressed orange juice was also really good. Service was good and the ambience of the restaurant is amazing. The decor was modern and elegant with nice tones, and the tableware brought the design together nicely. Overall 9.5/10!

Palato at Hall Park is an absolute gem. We sat out on their gorgeous patio, soaking in the stunning view while sipping amazing drinks — the perfect setting for a relaxing evening. The food was just as impressive, and the seafood Alfredo was the star of the show — rich, flavorful, and a guaranteed treat. Can’t wait to come back and do it all over again.

The food and service you get here is fantastic. We met both Misha and Pierre multiple times during our stay, always with great service and conversation. The food here is great. Little pricey but you have to expect it at a hotel of this caliber.

Palato Italian, located in the Hall Park hotel’s autograph collection, caught my attention on OpenTable. The positive reviews made it a top choice for dinner. I arrived at 5 pm and opted for a seat at the bar. After asking for food recommendations, I decided to go with the classic pizza. The service was prompt, and the pizza was absolutely delicious.

Absolutely blown away by the food and service here. Free complimentary sparking rosé, dessert, and also warm Italian sliders which had cheese, fresh pesto and pepperoni/sausage. Pure bliss. Our waitress was amazing with some of the best service at a restaurant that I’ve had. THE PIZZA!!! Ordered pepperoni pizza and the margherita, which were both fantastic. Restaurant had to be the best overall experience I’ve had in a long while.

We visited this incredible place on my wife’s birthday and were greeted and taken care of by Edna. The atmosphere in this place is unique and stands out to anything near the area. Every single plate was recommended by our server and each one was absolutely delicious, starting from appetizers to main course and ending the night with the pear dessert an absolute delicious! One thing that made the restaurant stand out even more was Edna, she had a great attention to detail and made sure our experience could never be forgotten. If you want to take someone somewhere to make them feel special, please visit this place and ask for Edna as your server. Comment below and let me know if you agree!

He had excellent suggestions on different dishes and we ended up getting the meatball appetizer and funghi pizza (everything with mushrooms is a yes from me)!! We also got the Turkey club and the presentation was amazing and ooh the perfectly crispy fries were 👩‍🍳😘 We will for sure be back! Thank you Pierre!!

A Taste of Italy in Every Bite – An Exceptional Dining Experience at this beautiful restaurant inside the new HALL Park Hotel. From the moment you step in, you are transported to the heart of Italy with its warm ambiance, elegant décor, and inviting atmosphere. This upscale Italian gem masterfully blends tradition with innovation, offering a dining experience that is both sophisticated and authentically comforting. The menu is a celebration of Italian culinary artistry, featuring handcrafted pasta, premium seafood, and perfectly cooked meats, all made with the freshest ingredients. Pesto garlic braid bread is the best I’d ever had. Black truffle fries were so amazing. The jumbo Mediterranean wild red prawns was a standout—fresh, rich, and bursting with depth of flavor. The Tagliatelle wild boar pasta, slow-braised to perfection, melted in my mouth, and paired beautifully with their exquisite wine selection. Speaking of which, the sommelier’s recommendations were spot-on, elevating each course with impeccable pairings. Service was exceptional—attentive yet unobtrusive, with staff who were not only knowledgeable but passionate about the food and experience they were delivering. To end the meal, the Bonet was simply divine, a perfect balance of dark chocolate, amaretto drizzle and pistachios. Palato is more than just a meal; it’s an experience worth savoring. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in fine Italian cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit. I’ll certainly be returning soon!

Had an absolutely wonderful evening at Palato Italian Kitchen last night! The ambience is perfect for a romantic date night, and the food was delicious. The lounge is also a great spot to relax for drinks. For starters we order the Sicilian Arancini and the Palato Meatballs, both of which were excellent. For dinner, we wanted to try their fresh pasta. We ordered the Pappardelle and the Mushroom Paccheri. The Paccheri was by far the best dish we had all night, it was simply amazing! Although, honestly all the food was delicious. Service was great, shout out to Jeremey for the great recommendations. They change their menu often, and we will definitely be returning.

this spot is great for drinks, appetizers & a fun brunch - but I wouldn’t come here for a full meal. we ordered 2 steaks with roasted potatoes, parmesan fries, and garlic pesto bread. they were very accommodating with our mocktail orders. the bread was amazing 10/10, as were the fries. the flavors on the steak were wonderful, but it was full of cartilage. i spent most of the meal cutting out giant pieces of cartilage. also - we had asked for medium well and received medium/medium-rare. service was amazing as was atmosphere. they offer free valet services as well. i’ll be returning for drinks & apps but definitely not more than that.

The prawns? Incredible. My husband loved them so much he went back for seconds! Every plate had great flavor, though the chicken could use a touch of sauce to keep it from being dry. We were a party of 12 in a private room, and while the space got a little warm, they adjusted it when we asked. The drinks? Spot on—well-made, with just the right kick, and zero complaints from our group. Service was friendly and attentive, though the wait for food and drinks stretched a bit. We got there at 8 p.m., and dinner didn’t hit the table until 10. But since they’re newly opened, we were understanding. Staff was apologetic, and their warmth made up for the delays. Bonus points for the bread—it was delicious! And the Cabernet was a nice touch, even if it took a while to arrive. All in all, a solid start for a new spot with a lot of potential!

Great restaurant with nice Ambience and suitable for private events. It is quite and spacious for small to big groups. The food quality is great though we had limited options for Vegetarian.. There are plenty of parking outside of the restaurant and it is located across the beautiful park where kids can play as well along with eating out. The staff is helpful and courteous. It is beautifully decorated specially now for Christmas which is irresistible for taking photos. I feel the food is little pricey but the Restaurant ambience and location justifies the pricing.

Food was ok. The meatballs were fantastic. I had the bolognese pasta which was filling but lacking something. Cocktails were nice and the overall atmosphere was nice. Our server was fantastic, nice and attentive. No disabled parking at the hotel which was terrible and parking wasn’t easy. You pretty much have to use the valet parking. Will likely go back and try again

The ambience was beautiful. My server was great. He held a great conversation and was very knowledgeable about the menu. The menu lacked different traditional mixed drinks and boasted many spritz and narrow a selection of beers. The bread was to die for the vinegar and oil was so good the ricotta pasta Definitely needs more cheese, but you can ask for ricotta on the side to add yourself but besides that it’s dry and I would not eat alone without this modification. The cannoli was also a good try

Time to fire the Chef or whoever oversees the kitchen here. I ordered 3 different dishes, all looked absolutely disgusting and grossed. By the time i paid the bill, my body was absolutely food poisoned 🤢 staff service is absolutely great, ambiance with live music was a cherry on top but who wants to truly pay $38+ meals and end in the bathroom?

We absolutely love Hall Park Hotel and have stayed here multiple times. After previously staying at a different lovely hotel in downtown Dallas, we tried Hall Park once and loved it so much that we booked it again specifically for Valentine’s Day weekend. We’ve also dined at Palato before and had a great experience, which is why we were really looking forward to our Valentine’s Day dinner. Our server was kind and attentive, and the food itself was good. Unfortunately, the way the evening ended completely changed the experience. Before we had even finished our dinner, all of the lights were turned fully on and the restaurant began closing down around us. While we understand closing at a certain time, doing this while the last table is still dining felt rushed and harsh, especially on Valentine’s Day. It made us feel like, because we were the last table, our experience no longer mattered. We didn’t even feel comfortable finishing our meal, and since we were staying at the hotel with no way to store leftovers, boxing it up wasn’t really an option. After spending over $150 on a Valentine’s Day dinner we were genuinely excited about, it was disappointing to leave feeling pushed out instead of enjoying the moment. We still love the hotel and have had positive experiences here in the past, which is why this stood out so much. I hope this feedback helps, especially for special occasions where guests are expecting a more thoughtful and relaxed dining experience.

We came here for a birthday celebration- it wasn’t the fancy brunch we hoped for. Open dining room and we were seated right by others, like right by them. Offered another table by hostess but it was dirty. It stayed dirty, a spoon laid on the ground by the table our whole meal just being stepped over. Asked for one coffee and one fresh squeezed juice - got two juices and no coffee. ($9 per juice.) Every time water was poured the pitcher dripped all over table and plates. We don’t mind ice cold tap water but the water had a pungent odor, let the server know and they said that’s just how the tap water is. Coffee eventually came out with no sugar or creamer till much later. Ordered mushroom quiche, lobster Benny and a muffin. Food looks much better than it tastes. They wouldn’t do a half order of the cinnamon toast pancakes (understandable, just a bummer) Muffin was dry. Had to ask for coffee refill- rarely checked on. Wasn’t busy at all & plenty of staff nearly 1:1 ratio of staff to guests. Lobster Benny needed to be seasoned very flavorless, lobster was chewy tasted more like crawfish than lobster. Potatoes looked like frozen bag potatoes. Mushroom quiche were better still needed more seasoning, little pepper or something. They knew it was a birthday celebration as that was on our reservation- no mention of this besides from the hostess. This was something we were looking forward to from an article rating it #8 restaurant in the state. Beginning to think I may have been taken in by an ad disguised as an article. It was a beautiful hotel restaurant with a mid hotel breakfast for nearly $100 for two people.

The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was excellent, but the food is absolutely terrible! My question is, what manager would allow slop like this to be served? This is such a failure on the management and chef’s part-absolutely disgusting!!!! Something told me to go to Lombardi instead, I’ll listen to my instinct next time!

Nice looking place. Had been there for lunch a couple of times. This was a group dinner outing. Service was horrible. Long waits to order. No bread service even offered. Salads came out staggered. One sat for 10 mins and other followed, also staggered over the course of 30 mins. One arrived with a single entree along with it. Then entrees came, but only 4 of 6 that were ordered. Seems as though server didn’t write down the other 2 orders. We had to ask for silverware, side plates etc, repeatedly, before being able to eat the entrees that were delivered while 2 in our party sat and watched the others. The food itself was at best, mediocre to poor. Unimaginative presentation and careless preparation especially for the prices. Keenly aware of our dissatisfaction, server offered to remove items from bill that were not prepared with the rest of the entrees (one of which, despite being prepared fresh, was inedible). When credit card slips arrived we discovered the items to be removed were still on the bill, and the bill included an auto tip with no disclosure. Overall this was a terrible experience. Staff was aware of how we felt, but no manager ever came by to apologize or inquire or even to thank us for coming. We are a group of local Frisco residents who are regular restaurant patrons. We love to support local restaurants that deliver positive experiences. Wishing this was one of them but will not patronize this restaurant again. Severely disappointing.
