Todo está delicioso las tortillas recién echas hay guisos muy sabrosos los almuerzos que delicia y su café de olla riquísimo el lugar es lindo tiene muchas cosa antiguas que puedes admirar ahí es un restaurante donde se come bien y se disfruta el lugar .
Como siempre este agradable lugar ofrece sazón, sabor casero, tortillas de harina recién hechas, buffet en platillos típicos mexicanos.
Increíble! Y delicioso, a mi esposo y a mi nos encantó. Todos los guisos están para chuparse los dedos.
Recomendado, comida 100% casera, excelente trato. Tienes que probarlo.

Muy buena atención, y muy rica la comida.
Está un poco caloroso adentro pero, todo estuvo muy rico, tortillas hechas a mano, se paga en la caja y te dan la opción del platillo tamaño chico (2 guisos c/ frijol) o tamaño regular (4 guisos c/ frijol). Tiene muchas cosas antiguas de decoración y se ve muy bonito. Regresaré pronto!
The restaurant retains the design and furnishings of an old hacienda. We went for lunch on a cold January day, but the fireplace made it very cozy inside. There are several stew options, from which you can choose four, all delicious 😋. What I liked most were the freshly made flour tortillas and the coffee—delicious ☕️. I highly recommend it if you're ever in the area.
We always stop by to eat at Rico's, the food is excellent and they serve it to you hot like it's just been made. My boyfriend, who doesn't like spicy food, was the only one who added it, but he still finished the plate. Highly recommended 😋😋

Driving back to Canada from the Jalisco costal area I always make a point of stopping here for brunch. One of the best most memorable meals I have had in Mexico, greatly welcomed after a day and a half on the road and conveniently located on the industrial ring road around town. Worth modifying your trip around Monclova for this . Google Maps sends you around the East side but your stomach will thank you for going around the West side and stopping here.
Great food favorite place to eat.
Top quality homemade Mexican dishes, in a buffet style presentation where you make your dish with rice, beans and different dishes they have available. Soda and handmade flour tortillas are unlimited. Place is charming and has a rsutic charm to it with antiques in and outside of the building showing the history of the family that runs the place.

El cortadillo era pura salchicha. El chicharrón era más agua en la salsa que otra cosa y mi acompañante no pudo terminar su almuerzo porque no le advirtieron sobre el picante. Es caro por lo que ofrecen...
Muy buenos guisos, buen lugar y ambiente tranquilo. Solo mejorar la limonada, que sea de limones no de zuko. Y un poco menos de sal en guiso. Los chiles toreados excelentes

En un enorme plato de barro sirven tres guisos deliciosos a escoger, complementados con frijoles refritos y acompañados con grandes tortillas de harina. Todo delicioso.
Muy rico y casero, el café podría mejorar
El lugar tiene diversas comidas qué puedes escoger en dos tipos de platos: pequeño (qué no sé cuánto cuesta y son dos guisos con frijoles) y el grande con 4 guisos y frijoles de complemento también. Te dan tortillas de harina gigantes para comer qué están super ricas, tienes 1 opción de bebida en tu plato, 1 refresco, refill de limonada y es natural, o refill de café; pero no puedes intercambiar mientras ya decidiste. El único pero, es su servicio... llegas, te sientas & luego te asignan un "número" para que te levantes, pagues y te sirvan; aún no entiendo porqué no hacer desde llegar pagar y luego servir, pero bueno... es solo eso ya qué es tiempo de espera. La atención es muy buena, la chica que nos atendió súper amable y nos explicó la temática. 👍🏻 Está algo oscuro y caliente pero no como para morir de calor y que no veas nada, está ok.

La comida muy rica, el proceso es pagar primero, después haces la fila para que te sirvan los guisos que gustes siempre y cuando quepan en el plato, te entregan tortilla recién salidas, después te dan la bebida, depende lo que elijas, el café y la limonada son refil, ah no cuentan con meseros, siento que les falto un poco más atención en el servicio.

The service was incredibly slow, the line for the buffet was extremely long, and there was only one person serving. The stews ran out very quickly. The owner was very attentive, but the rest of the staff wasn't very friendly. It's not the same great service it used to be.
