Khan Saab is highly praised for its delicious Pakistani and Indian cuisine, with many considering it among the best in Los Angeles. Sameer's service is frequently mentioned as exceptional. The food is described as flavorful and perfectly spiced, though the Khan biryani can be too spicy for some.
Tip: Be prepared for a potentially longer wait time for your food, as everything is made fresh.

What an atmosphere, amazing food and of course the service. If you love desi food then you can’t miss Khan Saab! Absolutely amazing, every single dish was mouth watering…OMG it is food heaven. If you are in the area or close by don’t miss Khan Saab and much have!
We had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant! Some of the best Indian food in LA. The food was delicious—rich in flavor and perfectly spiced except the Khan biryani which was too spicy even for us. All the kabobs very excellent. The butter chicken was good. Loved the desi street foods including bhelpuri and panipuri. The service was excellent—friendly and attentive. Food is all labeled for allergies and there is plenty of gluten free options. The ambiance is slightly noisy but worth it for the food. Overall, this place offers an authentic taste of Indian/Pakistani food . Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy great Indian cuisine in LA.
I can’t say enough good things about this place. Naan the size of an elephant ear and dough is perfection. Need I say more!? We were blown away by the Shrimp Curry Everything was just steeped in spices and a love for food and family. Walking in here is like a warm embrace. We probably should have had a reservation but they kindly found us a nook to squeeze us in. The place was packed, as it should be! We were treated like family. I’d be back in a heartbeat if we lived closer. Don’t pass up the opportunity to eat here. Yes there are spicy items, but many mild and delicious too, just ask if you’re sensitive! But if you prefer bland food then by all means move along people, not your place.
First Time Trying Pakistani Cuisine – Mind Blown! This was my first time trying Pakistani food, and Khan Saab absolutely blew me away. As a Michelin-recognized restaurant, it completely shattered any misconceptions I had about South Asian cuisine. The meal started a bit slow for me—I wasn’t a fan of the Pan Puri—but things took a sharp turn upward. The Pomegranate Bhel Puri salad was fresh, vibrant, and packed with flavor. Then came the Goat Cheese Roti (a total standout—so good!), followed by the Shrimp Curry and the legendary Khan Biryani. Every dish was top-notch, bursting with authentic flavor and beautifully presented. Khan Saab didn’t just serve me a great meal—it opened my eyes to the richness of South Indian flavors, and I’m now eager to explore more of this cuisine. Thank you, Khan Saab, for the unforgettable experience!
First time trying Pakistani food and feeling like a champ kinda night after enjoying this Michelin food. Are you a fan of South Asia cuisines like me? I am originally came from Indonesia and our food is all about spices, so this place are so me! Highly recommended. It is known as the best Pakistani-Indian restaurant in OC, you’ll find yourself happy with the friendly services and gets elevated from the culmination and unique blend of cuisine from #Pakistan #India #Afganistan which is amazing 🤩. Try and You’ll love it! 🥰 Foods are amazing, services was nice. Ambience are okay even though feels like a bit dark but still overall good. Parking are free at street if you see one and also behind of the building.
Went her for my father-in-law’s birthday. Great food! Such a treat to have some upscale and uniquely crafted Desi eats. 10/10!
Honestly, the best indian food ive had since i moved to LA last year. The service that Sameer provided to us was phenomenal. Everything on the menu is halal, and therefore there is no liquor but the mango lassi and the lychee mocktail were both refreshing beverages. The palak paneer was the best dish served, the perfect amount of spice and still a very good mixture of spinach, onions, mustard greens, and garlic. The cholay and bhatura were also delicious, complement each other well, and the bhatura was fried just right. The tandoori chicken was alright, kind of dry and did lack a lot of spice. Would recommend them to use more chili powder in the marinate. Both the naan and the serving of basmati rice were aromatic, flavorful, and buttery. The chocolate samosa is very creative, and lived up to its uniqueness. The rose syrup and chocolate drizzle combined with the crunchy outer shell and the smooth texture of the ice cream blended amazingly. This restaurant is way better than anything in Little India-Artesia. It smokes that whole area easily.
Visited here in 2021 and again this week. Glad to see that the food quality was amazing and did not disappoint! The ambiance is very relaxing and there was ample seating. We came right at opening for lunch so unsure if the restaurant gets packed during peak times. The hosts helped move tables around to accommodate our group of 6 (incl. 2 babies). The food came out in a timely manner. The dishes were presented beautifully and definitely had been prepared with internet consumption in mind. The taste was amazing and was not compromised in anyway due to the presentation. We ordered the chicken 65, smoked beef kabob, chicken karahi, with rice and garlic naan. The meat entrees were all very tasty. The karahi quantity was good. The chicken 65 (appetizer) and beef kabob (entree) were just enough for 3 adults, although I wish there was a bit more as it was delicious and finished quickly. The naan was tasty, but a bit thin and hard at edges. The chai was ordered by a member of our party and was enjoyed; “Zabardast chai”.
We had a great meal at Khan Saab! The food was flavorful and beautifully presented. The karahi chicken was a standout, rich, perfectly spiced, and absolutely delicious. The naan was served hot and fresh, just the way it should be. The goat cheese kulcha was a surprising and delightful fusion: creamy, slightly tangy, and truly unique. A fun twist that really worked! I usually love pani puri, but this time it wasn’t my favorite, the pani was a bit too sour for my taste. However, the star of the show for me was the falsa juice. It had an amazing, refreshing taste, and the black salt on the rim was the perfect finishing touch. A must-try! Would definitely come back for more of their savory mains and that falsa juice!
When I heard this place had received a Michelin Star, I had to try it for myself. The service was great, our server was helpful, kind, and quick to share top sellers with passion. The food was extremely flavorful and unique. Flavors of India, Afghanistan, and Pakistani with a modern Californian twist lived up to its expectations! LA Eater definitely did well including them on the list of best restaurants in OC! You can't go wrong with any of the items on the menu.
The quality of the food is excellent. Also really like the ambiance, highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time to ensure you don’t have to wait too long to be seated.
Khan Saab is an upscale desi restaurant in Fullerton that I've been going to for some time now. Every time I go I forget to take pictures because I just can't wait to eat! By far my favorite item off the menu are the karahi's. Both the chicken and lamb karahi are both delicious, but the lamb karahi is so flavorful I always have to order more! I usually also enjoy the Khan biryani and the butter chicken paired with the garlic naan. The restaurant itself has a dimly lit, intimate interior that's great for any occasion. The staff is always so friendly and checks up on the table quite regularly. 100% recommend to everyone and I'll definitely be back!
This is culinary gold at its finest. Check out this infusion of Afghani, Pakistani and Indian cuisine mixed with some world class service and fantastic ambiance. My wife and I have been waiting to check this place out and we recently had the opportunity to come with our new friends. Reza provided excellent service and ensured everything came out to our satisfaction.
Will be back! Great flavor and service, meets beautiful presentation. Had to try the Pani Puri and their specialty chicken dish, but also was blown away by the palak paneer and naan. And personally, really enjoyed that they don’t serve alcohol and have creative mocktail menu selection.
This place looks very good. This place smells very good and their food tastes very good. It is a very nice restaurant. But don’t expect huge portions like in some other restaurants. You will be well fed, for sure, but it won’t be huge. Their biryani is good and flavorful, but a bit different from what you might have tasted before. Also they don’t put that much chicken in it. There is some, but it’s not loaded. Same with a Paneer dish, it’s good for one person, but not for sharing. Overall experience is very positive. I think I’ll come back.
BEST Indian in Fullerton!!! It’s very authentic to Pakistani cuisine. The butter chicken was amazingly tender, and they had plenty of vegetarian options for my wife. Garlic naan was delicious, we got an appetizer that was super cool as well, I don’t remember what it was called but you pour the juice into the puff and drink it/eat it and it was so fun. Great date night spot
Fine dining restaurant with great ambience for families. Food was great. Chicken karahi is a must try. Dessert is served beautifully with impressive presentation like flower petals, nuts on top. Briyani pot was covered with a dough layer for cooking and that was broken in front of us to reveal tasty Dum Briyani.
Khan Saab is one of our favorite restaurants in the OC! You can tell that every dish is crafted with care and precision. It is no wonder than Michelin honored this restaurant with a Bib Gourmand rating! Here is a breakdown of my favorite dishes. Chicken 65- This is always a must order for me! Anytime I have out of town guests we usually go to Khan Saab and order this dish. Every time they rave about this dish. The sauce on the chicken 65 is incredible. It's almost like an Indian bbq sauce. It has everything you're looking for in a great sauce a little sweet and a little heat. Pani Puri- This is another great appetizer to go for. It's delicate and has complex flavors. The dish comes with puff pastry filled with a spiced garbanzo filling. Khan Biryani- This is a fantastic main dish to order. It is a rice dish with chicken and thai chilli. This dish definitely has some heat. For some of my friends this dish was a bit too spicy for them, but I love the flavors and keep going back for more! Butter Chicken- Another great option for a main dish is the butter chicken. The dish is creamy and has a lot of spices and flavors. It goes great with some basmati rice or naan. Dal Lala Mussa- Another fantastic option is the yellow dal. So many great flavors going on in the dish. Another one that goes great with rice or naan. If you are looking for a restaurant with high quality food and unique dishes than give Khan Saab a try!
The first time we came to this restaurant was when they first opened in 2020. I remember the food being great but the experience of sitting outside was less great. We decided to come back for OC restaurant week and it did not disappoint. There is so much flavor in everything. The pre fixe menu included Bhel Puri and Shai Tudka for the table. I ordered the Shrimp Masala that came with yellow dal, basmati rice, and naan. The restaurant was pretty busy. I'd recommend making a reservation.
Such a pleasure to come back here. Whenever we visit Disney Land we love to end the night here. The food is amazing and I wish there was an option to rate the service more than 5/5. If there was anything I would just wish the lights were a bit brighter. Other than that exceptional service and food. Being a Pakistani I can say this is an authentic Pakistani cuisine !
Went here for dinner Friday night. We had reservations for 8pm, arrived on time and were promptly seated. The place was full when we get there so glad we had a reservation. The location was easy to find - we got lucky and found a parking spot on the street right in front of the main entry. We were seated indoors, the ambience was nice. Service was friendly and efficient. They do not serve alcohol at the restaurant but have a variety of 0-proof alcohols/cocktails (non alcoholic, I guess). I tried the 0-proof whiskey - never again - but that’s no fault of the restaurant, it’s just me liking the alcohol too much! We found several vegetarian choices and ordered a couple of starters (Pani Puri and Goat Cheese naan). They were both excellent. Our main courses were the chole and the palak paneer with the naans and parathas - they were all very good. It’s very clear that the chef is exceptional - all the dishes were very flavorful and seemed to be spiced just right. We ordered the kulfi, rasmalai and the chocolate samosas for dessert. I’m not sure how I felt about the chocolate samosa, but the other desserts were great. Overall, we had a fun time and really enjoyed our meal at this restaurant. Highly recommend a visit here.
I love this place, the food was phenomenal! The service was extraordinary. We were 6 people in my party, we order 8 meals or more, the food was authentic and flavorful. I have a saying in judging a restaurant, if it offers authentic food, and there is packed with people from the same country, then you hit gold. This place is the embodiment of that saying. I would strongly recommend it.
We drove up from San Diego on a Saturday to try this Michelin guide Bib Gourmand restaurant and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. This place has indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor seating was full with limited seats available outside. A reservation is recommended, especially if you want to be inside on a chilly Fall night. We tried the Pani Puri (4 to an order) to start. Small tasty bite of a puff pastry with garbanzo and spicy tamarind water. Its a small one-bite pastry that has a spicy finish. We shared the Lamb Karahi signature dish and ordered sides of rice and paratha to share. This was enough food for 2 with a bit left over. The Lamb Karahi is an off the menu option to the chicken! (shhhhh) The dish was tender and delish. It had a very full curry flavor. Not hot spicy, but a balanced flavor to stimulate your entire palate. For dessert we shared the Gulab Jamun and Rasmalai. Both came with 3 small pieces and were good. We also had the chai tea and madras coffee. Served steamy hot and made to order, so order it early if you like it with your dessert. Dessert came out quickly while the hot drinks came ten minutes later. Over all it was a great experience, the staff was very friendly, happy to serve us and there were plenty of them, which can be an issue lately (at some restaurants).
A BEYOND 5-STAR experience tonight, on my birthday, with my lovely family, Mom & Dad, Sister, Brother, kids… Excellent and creative food, a professional and respectful team/staff, an elegant atmosphere… a memory to last forever. Dear Khan Saab, my dearest friends… I thought I left a bag at your place tonight, you helped me locate it. I felt that God wanted me to misplace that bag of gifts…. because tonight I not only found the gift bag (at the coffee shop next door), I also saw the Khan Saab team eat together after close. This was something that melted my heart, to see this family eat together, just like I had the honor to do. I thank you for this experience. You brought tears of joy to my life as I write this. With love and the utmost respect to each and every one of you, from your friend, SUNXERO
Space inside was not large but able to accommodate our party of 6. We dined here before the Janet Jackson concert at the Honda Center. They had a lot of wait staff which was nice so we weren’t trying to flag people down. We ordered the Khan Biyrani, butter chicken curry, bhindi masala, sides of rice and garlic naan. We shared everything between the 6 of us family style. Spice level on everything was not too overpowering. Everything was good! Nice date spot!
We arrived at 10:15pm but the restaurant was still full. The food was fresh, tasty and perfectly spiced. The staff was attentive and the food arrived quickly. We ordered the Malai Boti, Tikka kabob, Chicken Karahi for the main entrees and Pani puri shots plus Sloppy Joe as the appetizer. The entrees were exceptional and very delicious. I wasnt too impressed with the appetizers though. The presentation was pretty good still. We also tried the Blood orange Mimosa and Mango Mojito for our drinks which did not dissappoint. Over all a great dinner with tasty food and good ambiance. Will definately return.
Khan Saab Desi Craft Kitchen: A Delightful Culinary Journey I recently had the pleasure of dining at Khan Saab Desi Craft Kitchen, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. The service was nothing short of amazing. Our server was exceptionally kind, full of smiles, and showed genuine care, especially towards my father on Father's Day, making the occasion even more special. The entire staff at Khan Saab was both accountable and kind, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that enhanced our dining experience. We indulged in a variety of dishes, and each one was a testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality and flavor: - **Papadum**: Crisp and perfectly seasoned, a great start to the meal. - **Butter Chicken**: Rich, creamy, and bursting with flavor, it was simply divine. - **Chicken Karahi**: Tender and flavorful, with a perfect blend of spices. - **Bhindi Masala**: Delightfully cooked, maintaining the perfect balance of spices and textures. - **Mango Mojito**: Refreshing and fruity, a perfect complement to the spicy dishes. - **Faloodah (as dessert)**: A delightful end to our meal, sweet and refreshing. The flavor, quality, and taste of every dish were near five-star level, making it a must-try for anyone who appreciates fine dining. The restaurant was bustling with people from India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a testament to the authenticity and quality of the food. The locals certainly know their food best, and Khan Saab Desi Craft Kitchen does not disappoint. Given its popularity, I highly recommend making a reservation if you can. This place is not to be missed for an authentic and delightful desi dining experience.
our dining experience at this restaurant was exceptional in every aspect. It's a place where every detail is considered and executed flawlessly, from the ambiance and service to the exquisite food. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special dining experience. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply in search of a quality meal, this restaurant will not disappoint. The service was exceptional. Our server was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely friendly, making us feel valued and well-cared for. They provided excellent recommendations, ensuring that each dish we selected was suited to our tastes and dietary preferences. I definitely recommend this restaurant, you must try it. Thank you for making great meals 💐
My family and I recently decided to explore a new dining option, Khan Saab, following high praise from my sister. Our experience at Khan Saab was thoroughly enjoyable, living up to the anticipation. We delved into a variety of dishes from their menu, finding each selection delightful. The Butter Chicken stood out for its excellence, though a tad more sweetness could elevate it from excellent to outstanding. Both the Garlic and Plain Naan were scrumptious, perfectly complementing the mains. The Chicken 65 was flawlessly executed, and the Paneer dish matched this high standard of culinary excellence. The Mango Mojito, while great, was noted for its smaller serving size, leaving us wanting more. The Pani Puri was a hit among the family, universally loved for its authentic taste. The service at Khan Saab added to our positive experience, characterized by friendliness and efficiency, with all our dishes arriving swiftly. In summary, our visit to Khan Saab was a delightful culinary journey, marked by delicious food and exemplary service. A slight adjustment to the sweetness of the Butter Chicken and serving size of the Mango Mojito could enhance the dining experience even further.
One of the best restaurants in California! The service was spectacular. Fresh and gourmet. The food has a very exotic hint of fresh herbs that all blend beautifully together. The presentation was beautiful. We ordered the biryani, kabob, sloppy joes and paan puri shots. Ahad was our waiter and he served us very well.
My husband and I came in for an early dinner last Friday as first timers. We took Raza’s beef and chicken dish recommendations and were happy with all of them. It was early and the place was pretty empty so we had excellent prompt service. I have to say the presentation of their food is fun and different. The food was delicious - we both really loved the chicken 65 and sloppy khan. The chicken karahi is spicy so the Negroni was a great complement to the tongue tingling. The smoked beef is very smoky but does have great flavor in addition to the smoke. The garlic naan was just okay. Overall, we really enjoyed our dinner and would try a few different items next time to further explore their menu but we definitely left happy and full. Thanks for the great service Raza!
So we had a reservation for 5:00pm and the table was ready at 5:10pm. A lot of people were dining there. The lighting atmosphere wise is more on the dark side a lot of people were using their flash to read the menu. Food was great 👍 not too spicy 🔥 the bread was soft hot and fresh. The chicken curry was nicely not too over Done it was just right 👍 . I also got a mocktail called mango foheto. The mango taste is strong and with a mint taste I didn't really like the mint after taste however it was ok. Overall I recommend this place I give it a 9/10 and would go back.
Amazing food. Spices are balanced. Really tender meat, whether it's chicken, lamb, or beef. And the vegetables are incredibly delicious, especially the bindhi masala. We've tried almost half the menu, and even the drinks. The presentation is top notch and the staff is friendly. And it's halal! This is one of the best Indian restaurants I've been to. It's definitely a must-have!
Khan Saab Desi Craft Kitchen is located in Fullerton, Orange County, California. Khan Saab brings cuisines from Pakistan, India and Afghanistan to create fusion dishes in a fine dining setting. You can see that Chef Imran Ali has put a lot of thought and effort into the menu and the restaurant as a whole. They are one of the few (and first in the area) to have a non-alcoholic bar. The interiors are tastefully done with a heavy Pakistani influence evident. The seating area is quite large with tables well spread out. An outdoor seating area is available as well. It's a welcome change to come across a Pakistani Restaurant not setup in the usual "hole in the wall" style. the place does get packed in the evenings and reservations are required. We tried most of their specials and best sellers. For drinks, we ordered a Mango Mojito and a Naswari. Both the drinks were well prepared and very refreshing. The Naswari was a unique drink for us and we loved it. For starters, we tried the pani puri and the Sloppy Khan. The pani puri was good and tasted just like the ones I've had back in Pakistan. The Sloppy Khan is a street style keema pav where they use Wagyu Beef for the keema. Both were good, and I would recommend them in a heart beat. We also tried the smoked Beef Kabab. The meat was perfectly tender and the presentation was quite unique. For mains, we ordered the Butter Chicken and Nihari with a side order of Naan. The Butter Chicken is on the milder side and good for those who don't prefer their food to be too spicy. I personally prefer that Nihari have a thick gravy, here the gravy had a much thinner consistency but didn't taste bad. One thing we missed the most in LA is good desi Chai. We were assured the Chai is excellent and it surely lived up to the hype. It was even served in a Chainak (pakistani tea pot) to give you that feel of home.
Just wow..What a treat! Khan Saab is where flavors from Pakistan, India, and Afghanistan level up in a super cool, eclectic spot with a sleek, elegant vibe. Rocking the Halal game, this place is all about keeping it 100% alcohol-free, tapping into the trending sober scene that's blowing up in major cities like New York and London. Their Goat Cheese Kulcha with Butter Sauce & Sloppy Khan is a perfect start. Then add a traditional Butter Chicken and Shrimp Curry to the mix that makes you feel just at home. But then the Smoked Beef Kabob makes you wonder how you've gone thru life without this amazing sirloin. All whole sipping on your own Smoked Mocktail.
The waiter was so nice and attentive. Great smile and happy to be there. We ordered basmati rice, pani puri, naan bread, and three chicken kabobs and it was all good except the pani puri which was disgusting to me but very good to my Persian dinner companion.
I love this place. I’ve literally brought sooo many people here. I’ve tried a bunch of different items on the menu because I’ve been here over five times — and yeah, I’ll definitely be back. Just a heads up: they don’t serve alcohol, but they make up for it in taste and flavor. Their mango lassi is fire, and they offer great mocktails too. The staff is super friendly and always helpful when it comes to choosing what to order.
True comfort food! Lamb Rogan Josh was so rich with flavor and just enough spice! I can’t decide which combo was better the lamb with the rice or the garlic naan! Just order both! Though it was a lot for one person, you can have leftovers! :) I love to try different cuisines and cultural foods, thus I tried the Pani Puri. Though it was not something I enjoy, each person is different. The service however was phenomenal. Every staff member was attentive and checking in. I dined on a week day evening. Calmdinner ambiance.
This is a Michelin-rated restaurant and, after having eaten here, I can see why. The food is delicious! The servers were very hospitable. The place was packed so we were lucky to eventually get a table. They didn't rush us out even though we stayed past closing. Thank you so much!
This was our fourth time visiting Khan Saab and each time we've been blown away. My personal favorite was the butter chicken and the palak paneer with garlic naan. Even though we had an unusual wait time for a table, Sarah was an excellent waitress and made sure we had everything we needed. She made sure our wobbly table was fixed and checked on us many times. I'm looking forward to coming back soon!
For the white people broadcasting this as Paki food, it’s South Asian, fusing Pakistani, Indian, and Afghan cuisines. For the Muslims mad that they are not halal, sorry but South Asia is NOT ISLAMIC… we DONT do halal. The food is some of the best South Asian cuisine I have had in LA, everyone who is mad has no taste or is a religious fanatic. The Chicken Karai (one of the signature dishes) and the Lamb Rogan-josh were amazing. Garlic naan and basmati rice were perfect.
Our server Mayour was very kind and he made sure we got everything we needed. The food was amazing and definitely award winning. I got the chicken tikka masala it was so good and the pain puti was very good aswell. The garlic bread is very fresh and delicious. The atmosphere reminds me of my home country and it was very beautiful.
Visited Khan Saab in Fullerton to try their Pakistani food. Since their chicken isn’t hand-slaughtered, we stuck to the beef and lamb dishes. We ordered the pani puri, pomegranate bhel puri, sloppy khan, smoked beef kabobs, Afghani seekh kabob, nihari, beef biryani, bhindi masala, and naan. The food was good overall, everything was well cooked and flavorful, but nothing really stood out enough to make it memorable. Portions were fine, but the prices felt on the higher side for what you get. I’ve had Pakistani food I enjoyed more at places like Kinara in SF, which sets a higher bar in terms of flavor and value. Overall, it was good to try once, but not somewhere I’d go out of my way to return to, even if I was in the area.
My take on Khan Saab Desi, Fullerton, CA After years of eating my way through Southern California’s ever-expanding South Asian dining scene, I finally sat down for a long-overdue meal at Khan Saab Desi in Fullerton. The restaurant has generated plenty of buzz, and walking in, I could see why: the ambiance leans upscale, modern, and intentionally curated—an attempt to present desi cuisine with a fine-dining flourish. But a restaurant’s soul lives and dies in its food, so here’s how the dishes stacked up. Malai Chicken Kabab – Mildly Pleasing The malai chicken kabab arrived tender enough, carrying the signature creaminess you expect, but it never quite took off. The seasoning stayed shy, almost hesitant, as if it was holding back from delivering the kind of richness that defines great malai kababs. Pleasant, but forgettable. Tandoori Chicken – Competent but Not Captivating Tandoori chicken is one of those benchmark dishes—if you nail it, diners trust you with anything. Here, it was fine: the char was there, the color was right, but the depth of smoky spice felt dialed down. It landed squarely in “okay” territory. Biryani – Aromatic but Missing Spark The biryani followed a similar pattern. It carried the fragrance you want from a well-built biryani, yet the layers of flavor didn’t quite unfold the way they should. It felt more assembled than composed. White Rice – Underwhelming White rice shouldn’t be complicated, but it also shouldn’t be an afterthought. Here, it was serviceable but lacked fluff and care—more filler than complement. Chicken Karahi – The Undisputed Winner Then the tide turned. The chicken karahi arrived and immediately pulled everything back into focus. This dish was bold, vibrant, and unapologetically flavorful—exactly the kind of fiery, aromatic brilliance you hope for from a karahi. The tomato-forward gravy, balanced with green chilies and spices, clung beautifully to the tender chicken. Easily the highlight of the meal. Garlic Naan & Regular Naan – Outstanding Both naans, garlic and plain, were stellar. Soft with just the right chew, blistered in all the right places, and sturdy enough to scoop up sauces without collapsing. If bread is a restaurant’s backbone, Khan Saab’s is strong. The Wine List – A Mismatch One notable misstep is the attempt to offer wine in a space marketed as halal. While the restaurant may be following its own definition of the term, the inclusion of alcohol feels off-brand and incongruent with the identity they project. It’s a jarring detail in an otherwise thoughtfully crafted atmosphere. Final Thoughts Khan Saab Desi is a restaurant with ambition—sometimes it clears the bar, sometimes it brushes against it. The highlights are genuinely excellent (the karahi and naans alone are worth a trip), but the rest of the menu needs more confidence and consistency to match the restaurant’s upscale framing. There’s potential here—serious potential—but it shines only in pockets.
The Food: What stood out the most for us were the stuffed kulcha with goat cheese and chicken Karachi. I could eat a handful of the stuffed kulcha! The chicken Karachi comes out with a large hot wok, but what was surprising was its tender juicy meat covered in a spicy, rich, flavorful sauce. yummmmm! We ordered the most popular dishes according to the reviews and what our waiter suggested. There’s a nice selection on the menu for non-alcoholics, but we didn’t try any. There are nearby bars several blocks away if you want to drink, which we end up doing. What we ordered: Goat Cheese Kulcha $13 **** Sloppy Khan $13 *** Tandoori Jhinga $18 *** Smoked Beef Kabob $17 *** Chicken Karahi $22 **** Garlic Naan $5 Mango Lassi $10 **** Pani Puri $6 *** The Service: Our server was very kind and helpful in recommending some of the popular dishes in addition to her faves. She was attentive and we felt welcomed as first timers. The Atmosphere: We made reservations the same day at 7:45pm and it was already at about 70% capacity on a Wednesday night. I am not sure how busy this place gets during the weekends, but make sure to reserve ahead of time. The room is slightly dimmed giving the perfect chill vibe. Overall: If you’re looking for something that can spice up your night a bit, come here! There’s free parking in the structure right next to it. Total Cost: $133.61 for 2
This place has good tasting food, but when ordering multiple dishes, the taste sort of blends into very similar flavors. Additionally, the presentation is amazing, but overall, you are paying for the experience and fancy atmosphere rather than the actual food. There are plenty of other Indian/Pakistani restaurants that are fairly priced with similar food taste.
The experience was amazing! Food was well prepared presentation was good. Have had better dessert they have room for improvement. The server was a bit lost, forgot to get our sauces on time also took our drink away by accident and than charged us for an additional drink when we asked him to bring it back. Maybe a way to upcharge customers. Overall the experience was good. One more thing malai naan is cheese naan not actually malai 😁!
I would recommend the Karai chicken, that was our favorite out of all of them. Great vibe and environment. Classy and modern for a south asian restaurant. Altogther it was great service and food. However i am removing 1 star for the end.. After we paid the bill and were still finishing our desserts, the workers started clearing our table, and 1 of them told us that a party was waiting. It was a pretty rude thing to say. We werent even there for long for our dinner(45 mins). I have never been pressured to leave a table because another party was waiting after paying our bill at ANY restaurant before.
Khan Saab exceeded my expectations. The drinks were creative, the portions were generous, and the staff made great recommendations. Perfect spot for a night out.
Couple of colleagues and I went for dinner on a Thursday evening in April. The place is small, gets filled up, and a bit noisy. I had high expectations because of the Michelin recommendation, and they weren't met, which is why I'm giving 4 stars. Service is good and friendly but slow. Loved the bhel puri, the bhindi, and the paratha. The pani puri gets full marks for presentation but it wasn't great. The lamb seekh kabab and smoked beef were also delicious. The paneer tikka not so much - felt very dry and not crisp enough. Overall came to less than 50$ per person including tip and taxes.
Desserts were amazing- we tried gulab jamun and ras malai. Made in house, delicious. Chai! And friendly staff⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for this Now for other food- Chicken 65- was sweet very hard to chew- zero star Rogan Josh- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️- good, Butter Chicken- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ , we asked to make spicy, was good, so we order another Chicken karahi- ⭐️⭐️- sweet gravy I am glad that we tried for birthday celebration.
I was visiting from Toronto & had no expectations since the GTA halal food scene is hard to beat but was pleasantly surprised to visit this place. Top notch service from the staff & excellent food. Its hard to find good authentic flavours abroad but these guys are doing a pretty good job. My fav was their sloppy khan, the bbq items are yum & cherry on top are the fresh naans. The have chai & good dessert options as well so the place has got you covered for the night !
We came here few years ago , the food was ok hence never came back again. Today we visited again. The food was ok, but the service was exceptional. We really enjoyed the pani puri and bhel puri. My kids don’t like spicy food hence they loved the bihari kabab, butter chicken and Karahee. It was good to see a lot of people other than Pakistanis . It was a house full and very noisy.
We have been wanting to try Khan Saheb for a long time and somehow never got to it. Finally got to eat there last night. It was a treat for sure. We ordered the Goat Cheese Naan ,a big hit for us as we love goat cheese, pani puri, lamb chops, Lamb Rogan Josh, Palak Paneer, karahi chicken and Dal. Palak Paneer was exceptional with depth in flavor. It was our favorite dish of the evening. The Rogan Josh and Lamb Chops were both tender, well made with the right amount of fat,salt,spices...yumm. The only disappointment was the Karahi Chicken....it was overly tomato based to the point that the only flavor you could taste was tomato. Service was excellent, a very gracious, helpful, and elegant hostess who seated us, and the servers were all smiles, efficient, and very sharp. It was a wonderful dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Shall be back to try their infamous Smoked Salmon that they were out of !!
Food was so delicious. They offer wonderful halal options. The cheesy naan and garlic naan were personal favorites along with the butter chicken. The presentation of certain dishes was also so good. The restaurant is beautiful, but it was very loud and overstimulating. There was great service from our waiter, but the food took around 40 minutes to come. They brought everything out at once instead of staggering it.
The pani puri was a disappointment. It lacked the refreshing mint flavor, had an overpowering red hue, and left a lot of residue in the shot glass, which was off-putting. In contrast, the goat cheese naan was outstanding. The accompanying chutney or curry had a rich, creamy flavor reminiscent of paneer tikka masala, making it a perfect pairing. The papad was simply amazing, especially when paired with the three distinct and flavorful sauces—it was a standout. The paneer tikka, while soft and well-cooked, was slightly bland. The addition of butter was interesting, but it seemed like a green chutney would have complemented it better. The beef kebabs stole the spotlight. Perfectly seared and charred, they were an absolute delight and simply cannot be missed. Among the drinks, the mango mojito stood out for its delicious, albeit slightly thick, consistency. For those preferring a lighter, less sweet option, the Tower of Peshawar was excellent. With a refreshing cucumber and mint profile, it worked beautifully as a palate cleanser. Overall, the highlights were the beef kebabs, goat cheese naan, papad, and the Tower of Peshawar. The dishes and drinks offered a mix of hits and misses, but there’s definitely something to enjoy for a variety of tastes.
We were pretty amped for this Michelin recomm. Restaurant , located at a nice spot and good decor/seating.the cheese kulcha and bhel were delicious and flavorful, however the biriyani, meat and paneer tikka were bland and werent even served with side chutneys, we asked and were given tiny sample for 4 adults. The kitchen didnt seem too busy for a weekday but the food took around an hour to make it to the table( we were told 25 mins to expect for tandoor).
Ambience, food presentation and service is spot on! We ordered Mango Mojito (non- alcoholic) , Pani puri and Pomegranate Bhel to start with. Mango 🥭 mojito was interesting, Pani puri was okay ( especially if you are from Mumbai and have had street food there, you won’t be impressed) . Bhel was amazing 🤩! For main course we had chicken malai tikka and paneer karahi - did not meet expectations whatsoever! Really disappointed. Those who are “karahi” plans best alternative in the area would be Hot N Chilli restaurant in San Clemente (I believe they opened another branch in Huntington beach) . For dessert we had choco samosa - it was incredible (atleast according to me, my fiancé on the other hand didn’t like it) he couldn’t wrap his head around the fact that something fried in vegetable oil with icecream. It tasted good imo and was full of some wonderful flavors! Overall 4 stars to me. Karahi was really disappointing.
Khan Saab is one of my husband’s favorite places to eat! We’ve been here many times with large groups. I would classify it as an upscale Pakistani restaurant. You’re really paying for the ambience. The best items are the appetizers so it’s best to order more of those. It’s overall expensive and dishes are similar tasting to other good desi restaurants. The mocktails are good, but so small and overpriced. They charge you for everything like even a tiny side of raita is like $4-$5. Service is slow so don’t go when you’re super hungry or with kids which we’ve always done lol. It’s better to go with all adults or a nice date night. Pani puri shots are bland and you can make it better at home. My sister makes the best pani puri! I’m rating it 4 stars because it’s overpriced for small portions, they charge for everything, and service is a bit slow, but the food is good! You have to make reservations in advance as they don’t take walk-ins at least for large parties. Our favorite dishes: *Goat cheese kulcha w/ butter sauce *Chicken Karahi *Khan Biryani *Lamb Chops *Smoked Beef Kabob *Butter Chicken *Tandoori Chicken *Malai Naan Drinks *Dirty Sprite (the rest are ok). Definitely don’t get the Naswari…it tastes like medicine.
The first time I visited Khan Saab was back in 2022 during COVID restrictions, and it was great since there was not too much crowd and the food was decent. I have had better Nihari and Biryani, but the ambiance and mocktails brought me here. Fast forward, I visited Khan Saab twice this year, the first time was in March, and the restaurant was very crowded. Our server was great, their Karahi was delicious, and everything else was decent, yet I was there for their ambiance, Pani Puri, and mocktails. Fast Forward, I visited Khan Saab for the third time, and my experience could have been more pleasant. The restaurant has lost its quality of touch and has been more focused on filling up the restaurant than making the customers happy. Since I mentioned earlier I liked their Karahi, I ordered chicken Karahi with other menu items after waiting for a while, assuming their food might be better than every additional time I visited, but unfortunately, I was wrong. I was there with a group of 15 people, we ordered two chicken karahi, and as I dug in, I could smell the chicken (undone or old). It does make sense in the restaurant business to make masala since it takes 15-20 to cook and have the chicken pre-made; I was very shocked, so I requested the server to fix it, and I knew all along they would fix the same entrée that I ate it from, and guess what? That’s what happened, which made me very disappointed. I understand it’s a desi restaurant known for its food rather than its customer service, but for them to re-cook the same meal I ate from it is non-hygienic because I took a bite from the Karahi instead of using a plate. As I mentioned, it’s a desi restaurant; if it were American or Italian Cuisine, their kitchen manager or restaurant manager would bring the food, but I am not looking for an apology or some sincerity.
Elevated Indian cuisine in Fullerton. Came here for dinner around 6pm with a couple of friends and had no reservations, so we had a choice of either the outdoor patio or the bar (we elected the latter). Otherwise, reservations can be made online. It’s good for big groups. Single occupant restroom available in the back left. Credit cards accepted. They do serve alcohol, and they have some insta-worthy cocktails. Food wise, the three of us split an order of kulchas, lamb chops (come in 3), palak paneer, and biryani. The mango lassi was small but thick. The kulchas has were my favorite dish. Given the prices, I was a bit disappointed with the small portion sizes. I think the taste of the dishes were good, but an authentic restaurant would still be better. Granted, if you’re looking for a nicer vibe, then this restaurant would be a good option if you’re still feeding Indian food.
I have been there few times before. The foods tastes good but the customer service is getting worse. We already made a reservation yesterday and told them that its 2 of us with a baby. Today they told us that they can't allow us with stroller and then after arguing they gave us a table in the middle. The worst part is the lady who was managing the seating lied to us that there was gonna b a party of 11 near the table we wanted so she can't give us that table in the corner. Nobody came there and they seated 5 people on that table and the table we wanted was still empty by the time we came back. We were there for 2 hours. DON'T LIE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. The drink tasted weird. For 12 dollars i was expecting a fancy glass atleast ;)
Came in on a Friday evening. Didn't have a reservation but they were kind enough to seat us in 10 mins even though they were busy. Bunch of things on the menu. The authenticity in the taste isn't there, the food is made for non-desi customers. Service is great, clean restaurant and good came out quick.
This is really a 3.5 stars place. I think there's a lot of potential here for sure and they seem to be on the right path to make this into a 4-5 star place for sure. Great plating and presentation and wonderful ideas overall. Execution is missing on some dishes. Best dishes - Chicken Karahi. Perfectly cooked and tender chicken with plenty of spice and flavor. Butter chicken - cooked perfectly. Sweet and flavorful curry to savor to the last spoon. Appetizer - Pani puri. Simple dish with a nice crunchy poori to start off the meal. Honorable mentions - Goat cheese kulcha Room for improvement - Lamb dishes. Both Lamb Kabob and Lamb Rogan were definitely overcooked. Sloppy Khan - supposed to be an elevated pav bhaji but the meat again for me was over cooked. Parotha - needed more layers and more butter. Should be more savory and doughy, this was too dry. Service was good overall, attentive but felt there was some lack of communication, we didn't get waters for some time and they never changed out our plates from appetizer to main dishes. Biggest concern for me is that they do not serve alcohol. Obviously religious reasons but in this market to stay open without alcohol I would think you need to be on point with every meal and every aspect of your service. Potential is there so I'd be willing to try this place again.
Overall not too impressed with this restaurant. I had high hopes for it. The food was not bad but definitely not as good as I thought it would be. We ordered the pan puri, lamb chops, sloppy khan, butter chicken, mango lassi and cheese naan. So we had a reservation at 8:30 we did get seated until 9. The environment was very loud and we were sat closely to other people. It was also pretty dark and our candle turned off halfway through our dinner. The food took longer, they accidentally gave our order to the table next to us and I overheard the waiters telling the people next to us what had happened but they never let us know about that. Sloppy khan was good but oily, same with the butter chicken. The lamb chops were good, mango lassi is thicker than I usually like it, kind of hard to drink through the straw. The server didn’t really come check up on us. Overall don’t regret trying it but wouldn’t go again. I would like to mention that I did like that it was all Halal menu for people with that dietary restriction
After hearing about this Indian restaurant from a popular review on TikTok, my wife and I decided to give it a try. As self-professed picky eaters when it comes to Indian cuisine, we were eager to explore a new dining spot. Our visit left us with a mix of impressions. The restaurant's location made parking easy to find, but upon entering, we noticed that the dining area was small and the tables felt cramped. As for the food, we started with Bhel Puri and Sloppy Khan for appetizers, followed by smoked beef kabob, butter chicken, and Khan Biryani as our main entrees. The Bhel Puri was enjoyable, although the portion size left us wishing for more. The Sloppy Khan was a highlight, offering a tasty start to the meal. The smoked beef kabob impressed us when it was warm, but it unfortunately became dry and tough as it cooled. The butter chicken was overly oily, and the biryani fell short of our expectations. Regrettably, the overall experience did not match the prices. The portion sizes seemed inadequate for the cost, and the quality of the food felt inconsistent. Furthermore, the restaurant's small size resulted in a cramped and noisy atmosphere during busy periods, detracting from our enjoyment. While our visit had its disappointments, we understand that taste and experience can vary. Should we decide to return, we may explore different items on the menu in hopes of discovering the restaurant's strengths. We hope that the restaurant can take feedback constructively to improve the dining experience for its patrons. In conclusion, our experience at Khan Saab was a mixed bag. While some dishes impressed, others fell short, and the overall value left something to be desired. We remain hopeful that the restaurant can address these areas to provide a more consistent and enjoyable dining experience for its guests.
So not my first visit but this was with the family. Staff is very friendly and great at what they do. Definitely the best. The space is clean and well set up. The papad was great with chutneys The pani puri presented very well but the puri was hard so either stale or just cooked wrong The bbq jhinga was horrible uncooked and soives were tasteless The lamb chops were amazing The Rogan gosht was very good The beef Karahi was an 8 out of 10 The nihari did not have a nihari taste at all so zero The mango milkshakes were good The deserts were good The naan bread arrived 5 minutes after the curries so sort of ridiculous Service and cleanliness is where this place excels Food is a hit and miss based on taste Would I recommend them depends really on what you are looking for Ambiance and service yes Authentic taste no Consistency is missing Presentation is excellent
A little disappointed! We've been going to this restaurant for about four years now. Initially, there weren't many customers, and the food was very well prepared. Now, the quality of the food leaves much to be desired. Yesterday we ordered kulcha with goat cheese, and it was excellent as always. The tandoori shrimp were okay, but there wasn't enough marinade. The biggest disappointment was the shrimp curry. Firstly, the shrimp were tough, like rubber, as if they'd been cooked yesterday. Secondly, the sauce was so thin and practically flavorless, as if it were made with water! It's a shame, this was our favorite restaurant.
We went with high hopes but the appetizers were a huge disappointment. Don’t order Pani Puri if you want authentic flavor. Thankfully Main course was a winner and we had a good meal. Limited vegetarian options. We will not go back.
I have had indian food for 22 year especially because i have lived in the UK for years, my in laws are pakistani so i have a kind of sense of what is indian food about... i go to indian restaurants in Southall where the some of the best indian places are in the UK, and i have never come across such disappointing indian food before. I guess it is a good restaurant for those who dont know much about indian food, or perhaps other meals are better. Perhaps it is indian food revisited and adjusted to modern times, but it is clearly a failure. Atmosphere: At best, it felt moroccan with warm terracota colors, a really modern feel, the plates were traditional but serving was with forks (traditional indian provides spoons, not forks). There was no indian feel to this decoration. First: No pictures on the menu. No alcohol. I don't mean to get drunk, but i have never been to an indian restaurant without it. It would be fine if the drink menu was fancy enough to compensate for the lack of bubbly, but it clearly was not. Also, drinks on the menu were expensive and untasty. The lychee mimosa did not taste of lychee. May as well have a coke. Second, the food: the menu is short of options you would traditionally find in an indian restaurant. Poppadoms are supposed to be light, fluffly, dry, and crispy. They were nothing like it. They were flat, oily, there were tons in the plate as if we were 10 of us, they were cut in 2 (you cannot do that usually with poppadoms if cooked well) and the chutneys lacked taste and texture, mostly too liquid. Then,I had the Byriani and the presentation was horrible. It came to the table looking like a UK pot pie with puff pastry on top. Underneath: a massive pot of rice with lots of bits of unseasoned chicken, not only did it look gross and not appetizing at all, but it was not tasting of Byriani at all. The rice was very spicy, which i appreciate, but it was not Biryani. The chicken was not tasty. No sauce, too dry, it was just like eating rice... for $19. I only ate 20% of my meal, it was so unappetizing and disappointing. Third: the service. We were nicely greeted and quickly seated. The starter and the drinks came to us fast, but then they brought the main course to my friend and let me wait for mine. The minimum you can do is bring the 2 courses together,no? Conclusion: i am not going back in there ever. It was very expensive for a disappointing and low-level customer experience. It didn't make me travel, it didn't enchant me, i came back home upset and hungry, it was a complete rip off, and anyone will do a better job getting the ingredients from the store and cooking it by themselves.
We were there as a group of 13 and were really disappointed with their food. We ordered a big spread and most of the preparations were mediocre. Their signature offering, Chicken Karahi was the most disappointing as I could taste nothing but tomatoes. It was late and we did not have enough time to send it back and wait for a fresh karahi as it takes a lot of time. When I reached out to the management to see if they can take it off the bill they simply declined. For over bill over $300 taking $20 off is not big of a deal I believe, especially when you know you messed up. Moreover, as an apology they did offer a mango lassi after we all had deserts. Although, I politely declined the drink but to my shock they charged me for it. Literally this place is a joke. I wonder how a place this sort get a Michelin Star. This place can be easily avoided.
My husband has been wanting to come here for a while and we finally decided to give it a try. We both agreed that the food was flavorless and left a lot to be desired. We tried so many dishes and we didn’t like one thing. The restaurant is clean and modern, the staff is very nice but that is about it. They serve the food is very cute and unique ways, but it definitely doesn’t make up for the lack of taste.
Disappointed with my experience here at this Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant. Coming from India, I look for authentic taste when trying out Indian food. I don’t mind paying more but food wasn’t greatly satisfying to taste. If you are hungry, order twice the quantity you would order to feel full as the portion size is small. They have few items offered with Jaggery (instead of sugar) which is a rare but pleasant offering. Overall, Not worth the money and experience. Go to Artesia if anyone interested in trying out authentic tasting Indian food options. I do not know if Michelin had any true Indian in its food tasting/review panel. Michelin lost some credibility by including this restaurant in their list!
My husband and I visited this restaurant for our anniversary dinner. We had been here once before, a couple of years ago. My husband remembered not enjoying it, while I thought I had liked it—so we decided to give it another chance. Unfortunately, we left disappointed. Ambiance: 4/5 The space is beautifully decorated and visually appealing. However, the acoustics make it quite loud; the high ceilings and lack of sound absorption meant that multiple lively tables overpowered our own conversation—even though we were seated right next to each other. While not ideal for a romantic dinner, the setting might suit larger groups looking for a festive environment. Food: Mango Lassi: 4/5 Good flavor with mango purée mixed in, but the portion size was small for the price. Mango Margarita Mocktail: 3/5 Refreshing, but large chunks of mint kept clogging the straw, which was frustrating. Goat Cheese Naan: 3/5 Texture was nice, but the flavor pairing didn’t quite land. The goat cheese’s tartness would have benefited from a creamier, sweeter sauce rather than another acidic note. Shrimp Curry: 3/5 I had fond memories of this dish from a past visit, but this time it was underwhelming—bland, with shrimp slightly overcooked (tightly curled instead of tender). Tandoori Chicken: 3/5 Serviceable but dry, with only average flavor. Service: 2/5 This was the weakest part of the experience. After being seated, it took many minutes for our server to greet us. She was friendly when present, but often absent. My husband’s mango lassi arrived promptly, while I could see my mocktail sitting on the bar for over 10 minutes while another server stood right near it and eventually brought it. Meal pacing was inconsistent. My husband’s tandoori chicken arrived significantly earlier than my shrimp curry. His rice was also missing, and when we asked another server, she promised to check but never returned. Later, rice was brought out with my curry—though it turned out to be his. The miscommunication could have been avoided if someone had clarified whether curry dishes automatically come with rice. Throughout the meal, staff seemed disengaged or poorly coordinated. Even when leaving, no one at the door acknowledged us, and our server was sitting outside. We made the effort to say goodbye, but the lack of hospitality was noticeable. Overall: The restaurant delivers an attractive atmosphere, but the food felt uninspired and the service fell far short of expectations—especially for a place listed in the Michelin guide. While we remained polite, we left disappointed and do not plan to return.
I returned to Khan Saab after two and a half years. It used to have long lines and truly authentic flavor…something I appreciated as someone who travels often to Pakistan. This time? Total disappointment. The food was tasteless, the restaurant was filthy, and there were even bugs in my meal. It didn’t taste Desi at all, more like a watered-down Karahi made for kids. I sat with a dirty plate for 20 minutes, and the sticky tables didn’t help. If you’re into watered-down “Desi food” just so you can post about it and feel cultured for five minutes 🥂congrats, this place was made for you.
Chicken is not halal - the waitress confirmed. Karahi is nothing but a can tomato sauce. Wasted money. Went to another restaurant to fulfill the hunger. Not worth it. Not coming back ! Poor front staff service.
The cashier sold a small bottle of juice , martinellis mini for 25 dollars , when nothing in the menu was even priced at that . The service and behavior of the manager was ridiculous . No customer service . The entire crate of the apple juice costs 25 dollars and he sold us one bottle for 25 . On top of that he argues that the one bottle costs him 25 . Horrible customer service . You have lost our business and the business from my friends. They scammed us
I just got scammed by this restaurant. They charged me $26.40 for a bottle of Apple Juice. And literally it was a store brought Martinellis Apple Juice (small bottle) that sells for $4-$5 outside. I still can’t believe this nonsense and the manager was very blunt and said this is how much they charge for it. He refused to give us a refund or do anything else. As a Muslim-owned restaurant this is unethical and just plain wrong. I am deeply disappointed with them. They should be ashamed.
Food wasn’t the issue but we received terrible service from our server Samar. 1st he spilled water on our table on my phone which was sitting in table no apologies and used the table napkin that was already in use while eating our dinner on top of that as our table wasn’t still done eating he came started clearing up the table which was very unprofessional and not acceptable. For party of 5 gratitude was already added which i understand according to restaurant policy and we paid 25 dollars of gratitude BUT was our service deserved that gratitude not at all. This attitude and customer service need to be acknowledged by management as at the end of day its falling bad on restaurant.
The food was extremely overpriced for what you got. They charged one dollar to put garlic on your naan compared to plain naan. The waiter always suggested something more expensive over something cheaper. I was told the lamb I ordered was spicy and it was not. It was in places over-cooked and dried out. Where it was not dried out it did have a good flavor but was not spicy. You have to order every last thing separately and when I asked about how to get salad or something not meat along with my meat I was advised to get a $15 additional plate of vegetables as a side. I experienced no sense of hospitality from the wait staff. In the end I felt like I was only there to give them money. I was really looking forward to going to this restaurant but it was disappointing in the end.
