If you’re looking for good quality matcha this is the place!!!. They have the best ceremonial matcha and lots of flavors to try it with. Good music, and the barista is really kind and friendly. Hill cafe never disappoints!🤏🏻

I’m in the area for 2 nights and was looking for good coffee. They have that plus so much more - boba, all kinds of creative drinks, yuzu cheesecake that looks insanely tasty. The decor is so perfect and cozy. They have games you can play and you can color on the paper on the tables. There’s a mini plushie claw/vending machine. I’ll be back tomorrow.

Finally a boba place that i dont have to drive 30 mins to 😩. Cute place, diverse drink menu. Havent tried the desserts yet, but soon though. Wait time was a long while ( 1 hr max) , but understandable on the first day and amount of staff. When the drinks came i say it was worth the wait! 10/10 texture, taste, sweetness was just right and the boba was just right. Drink ordered: Dragonfruit lychee boba smoothie, a real cute pink colored drink that i will get again when i visit! 🪿👍Also got the mango passion fruit, but im biased on that drink so still 10/10. Edit: 4* for wait time, but will update in future visits. 3-22-2024 EDIT: If i could give more than 5* i would 🤩 Tried out the online ordering this time and they had my order ready super fast! Got custom drinks today and dare I say its even BETTER the second time! Also got a hold of some desserts, both the yuzu cheesecake and ube brownie are absolutely delicious! Was a bit skeptical about the brownie as ive never had ube before but WOW! Might be an item I'll come back to again and again. 🪿👍

Such a lovely place. I’m so excited to have a boba cafe in town! You can tell the owners have put a lot of time and effort into curating the perfect menu, a cozy atmosphere, and great waitstaff. This is a huge benefit to the younger crowd (and everyone) in our community, offering a great hangout spot where you can play board games and look at the adorable cat photo wall!

Everything was so good! Love the environment and vibe of the place. I love how we can draw on the paper laid on the table while you sit and chill!!! I ordered milk tea with boba and absolutely loved it. There is a wait because the drinks and pastries are made there! So please be patient while they work their magic on the kitchen! ❤️

Excellent! We are coffee snobs and were skeptical but very pleased with our drinks. My baklava latte was great! Not sugar or too sweet. My wife got a Hojicha cherry latte and LOVED it! Also - the ice cream is SOOOO GOOD! Being ice cream snobs as well we were pleasantly surprised by the incredible quality of the salted Carmel crack ice cream! Needless to say - We will be back!

I'm not a fan of boba or jelly in my tea so I drink it plain but every flavor I've tried is delicious and the desserts are amazing. My kids and their friends like to hang out there and enjoy the occasional live music

The coolest spot with the most delicious drink & dessert flavor combos! Always look forward to seeing what new seasonal things they have on the menu. My favorite spot to take people when visiting Gainesville!

I wish they had an option for non-dairy milk, at least through DoorDash, I haven’t been to the actual shop yet. Nonetheless, the brown sugar boba drink was amazing!

I've been going to Hills since they opened and I can honestly say I have never had a bad drink or experience. Everything is delicious from the milk teas, smoothies, ice cream, cookies...my favorite place in Gainesville.

Well I *thought* I had had matcha before, but after trying one of the matcha lattes (I had the banana from the summer menu, YUM) here I realized that what I’ve had before was basically chalk. Had no idea it could be this good! Can’t wait to try so many more things on the menu.

Super chill place with great product. Truly a hidden gem. They have board games and table sized paper to draw on. Their boba is great and even looked/tasted fresher than other boba places. They have a soft, chewy big chocolate chip cookie thing which is amazing. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun, chill place to hangout with friends in downtown Gainesville. I would not be surprised if the cafe becomes a staple in this town.

This is an awesome cafe in downtown Gainesville. They have a good menu to select from. The barista was very kind and made great drink recommendations (even letting me know what to expect flavor and texture-wise which was spot on 👌🏼). I had the apple butter matcha off their seasonal menu and it was excellent! Fun vibes, clean space, quality matcha. Worth a visit! Reminds me of the delicious matcha at The Brown Thumb in Denton.

Busy opening day! So happy for you! Even with the machine issues, my drink was made to perfection. While I waited I drew tulips on the craft paper which covered my table. The New York Cookie was very tasty. My mango passion fruit smoothie was so good! I’ll be hard pressed to pick a different one next time. So glad you are here!

The smoothie was really good. The employees needed some help on assisting people coming in. We’d never been here before and when we asked for recommendations they just kind of assumed we knew what their menu looked like. The smoothie was great but service really makes it for me.

They have great products, but what is the point if they're never open and don't update their hours?

The boba is great and so is the little shop. The 2 employees aren’t very friendly. They were treating my boyfriend different from other people that came in. It’s really sad that he is treated differently. Anyway the boba and food is good. Just the employees should learn to be more friendly towards people
