Colombo Gallarate Reviews
Aperitivo buonissimo! Salumi ottimi e formaggi superlativi!!! Finalmente ogni tanto riesco a bere uno Hugo davvero fatto bene.
Personale molto gentile.
Abbiamo provato diverse volte questo locale e siamo sempre rimasti soddisfatti. I croissant sono davvero generosi e gustosi, i cappuccini cremosi e i marocchini deliziosi. Un'esperienza positiva che merita un 9/10. Consigliatissimo per iniziare bene la giornata!
One of the most popular cafes in the city. Located in the center, you can drink coffee at tables, near the shop windows, or on the street on the other side of the road. Everything is delicious, because they have their own production, so people come here to buy pastries. But if you want a croissant, it is better to come in the morning, because it may not be there by lunchtime. Office workers also come here to drink coffee, so be prepared for traffic jams right inside the cafe.
A very relaxing and quiet place in the middle of Gallarate. Perfect place in which you can eat pastries or some fresh bakery's products with a very good coffee or cappuccino.
Liked the brioche
Great place and variety of sweet and salad.

Simply delicious 😋😋😋😍😍
Bar e panetteria, moderno e pulito. Davvero buone le brioches e il pane. Prezzi in linea con la media della zona. Personale cortese.
Andiamo spesso con gli ospiti della casa di riposo Bellora
Ottimo il gelato, personale gentile ed educato. Molto solleciti. Posizione centralissima. Gusti di gelato tradizionali e buonissimi.
Centrally located, this place is where I go for breakfast. The friendly and polite staff takes my order and quickly seats me. I try a vegan hemp and pomegranate brioche, which turns out to be well-baked and made with top-quality ingredients. I accompany it with a frothy coffee and the inevitable glass of water. The interior is welcoming, and the furnishings are designed with your comfort in mind. Recommended for a casual yet high-quality breakfast.
The bakery is located in the center of Gallarate. It offers good bread, brioche, pizza, and cakes. I recommend the "old-fashioned bread." Flour is available for takeout, and the bakery offers takeout. The staff is friendly and welcoming (even wearing masks). It offers good value for money. It's located in the city's restricted traffic zone. There's parking nearby, and a bus stop nearby.
We stopped in one evening for an aperitivo. The place is located in the heart of Gallarate, easily accessible on foot. The restaurant is average for its evening menu. In a setting like this, you'd expect something more. We'll return over time, hoping for some improvements. For now, only 3 stars.
Aperitif on the veranda... The pizza is excellent, as are the cheeses and cured meats. Unfortunately, I have to say the accompanying bread is dry and the crust is very hard. My Hugo was nothing like the real thing, a simple prosecco 😅 it didn't even have mint. For me, it's not worth the €29 I spent; there are places that include a first course for the same price.
First time in this bar in the centre, aesthetically nice, but indecent service after 10 minutes sitting at 12pm so not many people inside the place I had to go to the cashier to ask for the reservation of two croissants and two coffees arrived one croissant at a time and one coffee at a time
I went with my girlfriend for a quick snack. At the counter at the entrance, there were several products, many of which had no price displayed. We focused on a slice of sausage and pumpkin pizza weighing just under 200 grams (without a price tag) that was positioned next to products like stuffed focaccia, plain focaccia, and savory brioches priced between €3 and €3.50, so logically I assumed the price was similar, give or take a few euros. It's also my fault for not asking the price, but when we got to the checkout, we found a surprise: as already mentioned, a slice of pizza weighing about 200 grams (split in two, that was 3 squares each) was €5.90. I repeat: €5.90 FOR A PASSING SLICE OF PIZZA!!! For the same amount of money, I could have bought a Margherita and had dinner! Embarrassing, dishonest (because not all prices are displayed), and misleading product placement (it's easy to put a €6 slice next to €3 focaccia instead of next to the pizzas with their respective prices). Yes, on the left is the workshop with the prices of the stuffed pizzas, and yes, it did specify the stuffed pizza at €5.90, BUT, that doesn't justify the misleading placement and the unjustified price increase. Downtown Gallarate? Fine. Artisan bakery? Fine. But we, the customers, shouldn't have to pay your expenses and salaries with such price increases. NOT RECOMMENDED UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY TO GIVE AWAY. There are much better and much cheaper places nearby. I will never go back, not even for a coffee.
After waiting 20 minutes without anyone showing up to take my order, I went inside and asked if outdoor seating was available. The clerk told me it would be right there, but after another 15 minutes of waiting, we left. Zero service, 4 fewer customers for life.
We had an aperitif with savoury bread and bruschetta, a whole cocktail fell out and rather than changing it as often happens since it was whole, even though we reported it at the cashier, they made us pay for it, furthermore to clean the table we had to ask
Lots of smoke and not much heat...visually, there's a lot of drama, but the quality of the products is low. The pizza often has a lot of oil in it, which smells bad, as if it were used oil. The sweet focaccia costs €4.20, a small piece of which is a very high and unjustified price! In short, the prices are high for the poor quality of the products, and therefore it's not worth it.
