La Piadineria Gallarate Reviews
I went for lunch today, the clerk was kind and the service was quick, thanks to the small crowd.
Great service and very tasty pollo rollo.
This location belongs to the well-known piadina chain. There's not much to say about the piadinas; they're the usual tasty and super-stuffed ones, with the option to mix and match ingredients to create your own. A plus is the availability of yogurt with a variety of toppings for dessert. Also try the chips, which are a new addition to the chain: they're delicious. The location also has table football and an interactive room for kids.
Lovely piada. The best one ever !
fast cheap and tasty ingredients for make.the italian piadina ... easy quick bites...
Very good piadina, the workers make everything fresh, you can choose how to create your own piadina or choose the classic piadinas, excellent place
Io e la mia famiglia avevamo voglia di yogurt gelato, così sapendo di avercelo a pochi passi abbiamo deciso di prenderelo presso la loro struttura, dovevamo portarli via e inutile dire che siamo rima…
The piadina is good, but perhaps a little empty, probably during the lunch hour. They're struggling to keep up with both delivery and in-store orders, so the wait is a bit long. Very friendly staff.
New, spacious, clean, and bright location on the street with limited parking nearby during the day. Dine-in or take-out options available. Various piadinas with different fillings are available. There's a veranda to choose from. The piadinas are reasonably good. Often young staff, though often too young with little experience, which is reflected in the management. In addition to piadinas, there's a yogurt stand and a small pastry shop. There's a kids' area, a foosball table, and a counter with phone charging ports. Good for a lunch break, nothing more. Update: COVID-19 protocols are being respected, green pass checks are required for those stopping to eat on-site. Home delivery is available via Deliveroo.
The piadinas would be good, but they're empty. I've never seen the same person serving from behind the counter twice, so they're always in training and don't know anything. The paper recycling bin (which is the most common type of waste) is hidden near the bathrooms, and if you ask, they don't know where it is. I didn't understand why they always broke the dessert receipt, then I realized it was to avoid giving me a discount for every €10 receipt. The place is clean, but the management is truly terrible.
I'm speechless... I've been to this piadina shop in Gallarate three times, and three times they managed to not only get the order wrong but also give me piadinas in this state. Also, the last time I was there, the bathroom wasn't in great condition... there were traces of food on the walls and strong, unpleasant odors near the exit door, near the sinks, like vomit. I don't know. I don't think I'll be back.
I often go to the Gruppo's piadina shops in Gallarate. Hot drinks and extremely slow service. I had a legendary piadina, one I often order. They left the prosciutto on the grill to warm up, and it was incredibly salty.
A rather negative experience: greasy and, above all, wobbly tables, so much so that the glass orange juice bottle spilled; long wait (and there wasn't much of a line...); and, to top it all off, something I'd never seen or heard of, when I asked for the password to access the establishment's Wi-Fi, I was told by one of the servers that she doesn't know, so much so that they can't even log in. I nipped the controversy in the bud with a hearty laugh. The piadina was average in terms of taste, but way overpriced!
Ordered on Deliveroo yesterday: piadina with tuna sauce (paid 90 cents) completely lacking the chosen sauce. The Nutella piadina was dry, with very little Nutella. Skimping on ingredients only leads to losing customers.
Worse piadineria... terrible smell of fried oil
At this moment, I left the Piadineria. A normal place, not particularly clean and tidy, dirty tables everywhere, not to mention the restrooms. My son and I ordered two piadinas, one with whole wheat dough, mine. I received two piadinas with classic dough and told the clerk there had been a mistake—the same one who had taken the order 10 minutes earlier, by the way. She replied that the receipt says "normal," but who issued the receipt, me or her? Considering that this is the second time I've eaten here in a month, and it's the second time they've made a mistake with the dough. Am I the one who can't pronounce the word "whole wheat" properly? Or are they the ones at the cash register who should listen to the customer more? I also recommend that cashiers wear gloves when, as if nothing had happened, they go into the kitchen without washing their hands and touch the food and serve it with the same hands they used to handle the money.
Today due to an extension of a job and little time to eat, my colleague and I went to Gallarate to eat a piadina on the fly because we had little time, but after ordering we had to wait more than half an hour before the piadina arrived, but above all after having requested and urged the shop assistant she didn't even deign to give us an answer but there were three of them in the kitchen but with a calm and relaxed attitude not suited to those who have to be quick on their lunch break and they should know that in those two hours of the meal they have to fly because if you give a service people expect fast and brilliant people not sloths and in that half an hour five people complained like us and some had to have it put in a bag because they didn't even have time to eat it anymore, furthermore after it arrived it wasn't made well at all but practically burnt and hard as a sole. It was my first time and it will also be my last, but I tell the owners that the girls need to be looked after, otherwise they'll close their doors soon. I absolutely don't recommend going for lunch if you're short on time, because otherwise you'll starve or gorge on your meal. Terrible experience.
