Excellent pizza!
Excellent place for those who don't want to eat the usual pizza. The staff is very kind and attentive to their customers. The pizza dough is very good (we're talking about a place specializing in Neapolitan pizzas 😉) and, as mentioned before, they have a wide selection of specialty pizzas, all of which are obviously excellent. The desserts are fantastic! The place is very well-kept, just a little small. I'll be back 😉
Apericena davvero buono, pizza fritta, bufala e pizza al forno, ottimo, scarsa la scelta dei drink
Buona pizza, locale bello e accogliente!
A lovely evening with colleagues. Edo's is in the center of Galliate, near the castle, a large pedestrian area with many other restaurants. It's very charming at night, very beautiful, and you can eat outside. But we preferred the inside because of the mosquitoes. The place is air-conditioned, the staff is young, friendly, and very kind. The pizza is very good. The only shame is there's only one bathroom for men and women. As mentioned, a lovely evening, and Galliate's center is lovely.
Best pizza in town!
Good service and good pizzas, are Napoli style, so big edge, soft, not to much topping but are tasty. So many beers, so you can make your choose! Price cheap than the other, in fact could be better get a reservation
We spent a Thursday evening at Edo's for pizza with colleagues. Neapolitan pizza requires expert baking and top-quality ingredients, and these qualities are certainly present at Edo's. The pizzas are well-leavened, well-topped (perhaps too much so...), and in step with modern trends. The selection of craft beers and the wine cellar are interesting, for those like me who prefer, depending on the evening, to pair their pizza with good wine. I will definitely be back to try the fried pizza and turn these four stars into five. Great job.
Simple, tasty, high quality.
Pretty well done pizza.
The place is really very nice in the decor, small but not too much, warm and welcoming. The staff is helpful and the owner is truly a "real host". The pizza chefs have the space to prepare the dough in full view. They also prepare the bread that is offered to customers. The pizza is good, well leavened and with top quality products. I highly recommend it!
The place is definitely well-kept and cute, and it's one of the very few places where the pizza is a bit thick. The pizza is definitely good, not a huge selection, but good ingredients. The menu also features local beers, which is never a bad thing. Highly recommended, it must be really nice in the summer.
A couple of negatives that unfortunately ruined the experience. I've known the pizza chef for years and have appreciated his pizza for years. The Tre Stagioni I ordered was truly exceptional, and the craft beer was also excellent. Problem number one: I didn't show up unexpectedly; I had booked a few days in advance and would have appreciated being told the kitchen was out of order. My girlfriend, who can't eat pizza, was only able to order a tartare (good but not entirely satisfying) for €12. Problem number two: I was completely satisfied with the first pizza, so I ordered a Margherita (since it was my diet break day). Unfortunately, given the increased number of people in the restaurant and the resulting rush to take the pizzas out of the oven, the Margherita arrived completely raw. Of course, they didn't charge me for it, but honestly, I would have preferred to wait a few more minutes and enjoy the second pizza. Generally, it doesn't lower my trust in the pizza chef because he makes spectacular pizzas and is always a guarantee, but unfortunately, a bit of attention was lacking and the experience was a bit ruined.
This place is very busy on Saturday nights, offering reservations for two sittings: 7:30 PM and 9:30 PM. There's a good selection of craft and draft beers. The pizza is Neapolitan-style, with a high crust. The toppings (fior di latte or buffalo mozzarella, tomato, etc.) are good, but in my opinion the dough isn't particularly good in terms of quality or how it's rolled out. After just a few minutes, the dough becomes rubbery and hard to digest (a problem with the rising process?). The desserts are good. Overall, a positive review, but not excellent.
My friends and I booked a table for dinner. When we got there, we noticed the staff was in a bit of a hurry. In 10 minutes, they stopped by 3 times to ask if we were ready to order (two of our friends were 10 minutes late), so we decided to order drinks. When the rest of our friends arrived, we ordered food: pizza and a hamburger, which I must say were very good. At 9:30 PM, the waiter arrived asking if we wanted dessert or coffee. He brought us the dessert menus, and when it was time to order, he told us that the table had to be vacated by 9:45 PM because there was another reservation! We weren't informed of this over the phone, but you can't even go up to the customer and ask if they have time for dessert because they have another reservation. Without even asking, they brought the bill to our table, where, in our rush to do the math, we didn't realize that we had also paid the cover charge for someone who couldn't come. Overall, not a good experience.
