I came down to Galveston for the TSPRA convention and right after leaving the Fat Tuesday celebration we happened to come across this restaurant. It was our first time ever going, and the staff were super helpful and friendly. They really took the time to help us figure out the menu, which made the whole experience feel welcoming from the start. We ended up ordering a combination pizza — Pepperoni Lover’s and Supreme — plus some lemon pepper bone-in wings. Honestly, the wings were some of the crispiest and most tender wings I have ever had. The lemon pepper flavor was on point. The pizza sauce was tangy and really flavorful, and on the supreme slice you could taste different herb notes in the tomato sauce that made it even better. Even the ranch was delicious, which says a lot. I was jokingly told that since I came down for TSPRA, I was qualified to write a well-written review and be graded on an AP score from 1–5. If that is the case, I am excited to find out my score because this visit definitely left a strong impression. I am already looking forward to coming back from Laredo to visit again. Overall, it was an amazing place with great food, welcoming staff, and an experience worth repeating.
Elizabeth is amazing! So friendly and informative. I felt happy as soon as we arrived. She didn't even get annoyed when we made changes or changed our mines during the order. And the foooood. Sooooo delicious. Its been my favorite for years!!!
The cashier Ryan was very personable, he recommended getting the pepperoni rolls to try, after I asked what appetizer we should try. The view from inside the restaurant is beautiful, and the inside is very cozy and nostalgic. I ordered a calzone, and my wife got the 5pc Boneless wing combo. The amount of food we got for the price is absolutely amazing. Everything came out absolutely perfect, and the next time we come down we will be stopping by to eat here again for sure!
We had three different kinds of pizza, crazy fries, and fried zucchini. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious! I recommend the Big Dilly on the pan pizza crust. Make sure you show up hungry. What truly put this pizza joint over the top is the pan pizza crust being good enough to eat on its own and how incredibly clean the entire place was. I cant wait to come back to try more pies and a sub!
Sasha helped us in, offered us a menu, and when we were done deciding, she got our order! The whole experience was quick and easy! The fried zucchini was great, and the simple pepperoni and bacon pizza was delicious.
When I come to Galveston and want pizza, this is where I go. This single slice is about 9 dollars and is ready in about five minutes! It is huge. I like consistency and this big piece of pizza is delicious every time.
I went in for lunch today. I got the pepperoni lover and the jalapeño poppers. The pizza and poppers we're awesome. The pepperonis were crunchy just the way I like them. I will definitely be back when im in Galveston.
The food is so delicious and portions are VERY generous. 16 dollars for a meal is a very good price in my opinion. So much food that I will have to take it home for a separate meal. Will be coming back very soon.
We ordered the Papas Deluxe(GF crust), italian salad and drinks. GF crust is tasty and not a brick, not prepackaged. Excellent food, excellent service, awesome views. One of our favorite spots to visit when in Galveston.

Hands DOWN, best beef lasagna I’ve ever had in my entire life. Pizza is bomb. Fried mushrooms were delicious. We’re from San Antonio, so every time we come to Galveston, this is one of our stops.
I cannot say enough good things about Papa’s or their employees. The food is always hot and fresh. It’s one of my favorite spots to sneak away for lunch. Ryan always goes above and beyond to make sure the experience is great. 10/10 every time.
When in Galveston this is the place to eat. The staff was fun and attentive. The restaurant was very clean, open seating. The pizza was amazing (even the next days leftovers) I would highly recommend Papa's Pizza

They have a good variety of pizzas and great options for crust and toppings! We ordered a few pizzas, a calzone, and sub - all of which was hot and ready by the time we came to pick the order up. The staff was very welcoming and kindly offered plates napkins and utensils for us without us asking. I recommend for anyone in the Galveston area looking for some good local pizza!
Great pizza. I like thin crust but sometimes it can be like cardboard. This one was crisp, tasty, and easy to eat. The sauce was "just right" and the topping VERY generous. I chose the meat lovers, but I cannot eat Italian sausage, I asked if they would substitute the IS for a little more of the other ingredients. They did so without fuss. The result was one of the best pizzas I have had in years. See photo. I wish I didn't live in Minnesota, so I could come back here regularly,

My family and I have been coming to this pizza place every October during our Surfside Beach vacation for the past 8 years, and it’s hands-down one of our favorite stops in Galveston! We drive from Dallas, TX, and no trip is complete without grabbing a meal here. The pizza is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly baked — it tastes just as amazing every single year. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is cozy, and you can feel the love that goes into every bite. It’s rare to find a place that stays consistently excellent for nearly a decade, but they’ve done it! If you’re visiting Galveston and don’t stop by this spot, you’re truly missing out on one of the island’s best-kept treasures. 🍕❤️
I went to PaPa’s for the first time with my Husband and son. We got cheese pizza and Apple Pie bites. It was both so delicious! The customer service was excellent! We were helped by Izzy and Alizah! Overall our experience was great! We had to take a pizza to go after we ate one inside. We definitely will be going back!
Our Favorite pizza place to go in Galveston! Great location everyone’s so nice and the pizza is amazing the wings are nice and meaty and they’re very generous with the cheese! You won’t want to skip dessert! We got one of everything because we couldn’t make up our minds! Next time we’re going to have the apple pie dessert and the churros!
If you are looking for great pizza, super service and a fun atmosphere, Papa's Pizza is the place for you! Deandre gave our dinner a special touch with his award winning smile and friendly service. The pizza was reasonably priced and tasted fantastic! The atmosphere is fun and you can look out over the seawall while you eat! It's great for the whole family! The seating is standard for a pizzaria with tables, booths and bar facing the sea. The flooring is level with bright lighting, great for us less mobile patrons. Papa's was one of the best meals we had in Galveston!!
The line to get in this place says it ALL!! We were blown away how nice all the employees were and how hard worked.. especially Marisol!! She is our fav.. hands down!! Now the food.. we have driven by this spot sooo many times because it was packed. Well, tonight we found a parking spot and walked in. Right when we walked in the lady behind the counter told us to grab a menu and go find a spot to sit and then come back up and order. We studied the menu and went in!! Started with fried pickles and wings.. the wings were awesome!! I usually get them with the sauce on the side so it doesn't get all up in my beard business.. dipped them in buffalo, then ranch then, down the hatch!! The pickles were even better. They use a different batter than everyone else and they were delish!! Now to the main course!! The wife got a thin crust Margherita pizza and she loved it!! I got the Muffaletta and it was huge.. the olives inside were ridiculous!! I guess the moral to this review is.. don't sleep on Papas Pizza!! It's packed for a reason!! We'll be back soon!!
We went to Papa’s on a whim because we were hungry, and we did not expect five-star quality service and food. The cashier was so sweet and took her time to get our order right, and the food was both delicious and fairly priced for the portion. I highly recommend checking it out and trying their subs.
Went in for 4th meal Friday night. D'Andre had the best customer service. Really friendly had amazing recommendations. Best cheese steak I've ever had. Biggest sandwich. What a value. He's even checking on my food to see when it will be ready and why it was taking so long without me asking. He actually cares about customer service. So thankful this place as next to my hotel. I’ll be back next time we are in town!
First Timer Here!!!! Loved the flavor of everything! Loved how fast the food came out! And loved the experience!!! We ordered 2 XLG pizzas (pepperoni lovers and Alfredo&cheese) , 20 Wings (hot and lemon pepper (wet)) original crazy fries, garlic bread stick bites, and Koolaid drinks!
