King Harbor Seafood Restaurant is praised for its excellent service and delicious, flavorful Chinese food. The staff is noted for being friendly and attentive. The restaurant is also considered very affordable and has a pleasant atmosphere.
Tip: Customers highlight the friendly service and delicious, reasonably priced food.
If you like family style meals, this place will not disappoint. They have a large selection of different items, and something for everyone (even if you are vegetarian). This has been my go to restaurant for over 10 years, and when family visits from out state this is their one meal request. Best advise I can give is to show up for the lunch specials (until 3PM). It is priced low and includes soup and dessert ........ You really cant go wrong with this!
Food is cooked in proper cantonese manner. Great and friendly staff around and the lobster is just the highlight.
Food tastes delicious =) definitely will come back again
Great service and the food is amazing.
Always great! We have an annual employee dinner there.
The quality of the food is top notch. The service is excellent.
Authentic food, polite and prompt service, excellent value!
Clean and efficient. The food is good and pricing is reasonable.
Delicious food very nice servers and nice atmosphere
I love coming here for both their lunch and dinner times!! Anything on the menu is delicious!
Tasty dishes, decent prices, large portions. Would highly recommend the lunch menu.
Very tasty We celebrate my daughter's birthday I highly recommend this place
We've eaten here two days in a row for dinner. Excellent food & service.
Food at this place is good and it nice to go with more then 3 people at this place.
Lobster was fantastic. But their smallest lobster was 4lbs and it was way too much for 3 of us.
The food is sooooo good and the house dish of Lobster and Garlic Noodles are FABULOUS.
Very good family style food. The staff are very nice.
Excellent service and food. Food arrives quickly after you order it.
Food Is so good get the house chow fun dry, fried rice, and Mongolian beef.
Perfect service, reasonable prices, delicious food. Keep doing great job
Nice service.! All people there has a beautiful attitude for service every table.!!
Excellent fresh food, good service and pleasant surroundings.
Great food, incredible flavor in the broth, great customer service.
Amazing family style chinese food and sea food absolutely love this place
Nice Restaurant and great service. The restaurant has a great vegetarian options.
They do remind me of the floating restaurants of Hong Kong off the coast of Victoria. I am very picky of the egg in their House Special Fried Rice which they did to perfection.
Very authentic. Friendly service. Food was excellent. Large portions. Loved it.
Cook Byron came out and asked about our meal we ordered and thats rare give this place a 5 + and combo fried rice the bomb 👍great place 👍😋😁
Delicious lobsters. And great clams. Only problem was the yi mien under the lobster wasn't so great for the additional 7$ it charges.
Was there for a cousin's wedding banquet. Really awesome experience. Loved the fried rice and fish!
Been going here for years I love the food. Lunch time special is super worth it
Very good restaurant! Yummy , delicious, & tasty dishes! The waiter is very polite & has good customer service! The service is very fast as well! Love ❤️ it!
Good Chinese food! We always go there to order take out. The fried noodle is good, salt & pepper pork chop is the best and the steamed mushroom and bok choy are the best.
The food was great, prices were good, and the service was also very good. Definitely the best tasting (most authentic) Chinese food I've had.
Food was very good and the dinner portions were large. Service was good. I will go back again. If you have a large party they offer very interesting group menu options.
Great authentic Hong Kong Style Chinese restaurant if you love Chinese food you gotta give this place a try. In my opinion it's one of the best in the area. It's the go to restaurant for my family at least. Next time your visiting Disneyland definitely give this place a try the lobster is amazing.
I had door Dash deliver my food it was outstanding ! The food was delicious . I ordered Peking duck vegetable delight walnut shrimp and house fried rice and everything was perfect . I’m so happy they have door Dash deliver because I can’t come in The restaurant because of my illness but I sure love eating their food !!
This place was a delightful surprise. The family style dishes were were all amazing. Very reasonably priced for the amount of food you get, (which is a lot).
Nice restaurant with a great service and great foods . Also great for wedding party, birthday or any occasions. I have been visited this restaurant for a long time. Parking lot is big so you don’t have to worry not to have parking 👌
Food was delicious. Service was excellent. Great menu and very authentic food. The lobster was fresh and delicious! A must have for the appetizer is the salt and pepper calamari. I will recommend to all my friends and family.
I have to admit, I'm not that familiar with Asian dishes. But here the staff are very helpful and, polite, and friendly. The service is fine but the Mongolian beef is outstanding. As is the sweet and sour see chicken AND the orange chicken. Everybody needs to try this place... You'll never regret it. Bring the family.
We have been coming here for lunch for years now. The food is always fresh and hot, no matter the time of day. The prices are good and the quantities hearty. I just wish they would serve the egg flours soup more often than the sweet and sour.
We enters the restaurant at around 8:30pm, which is near the closing of 9pm. And yet, the service staff that takes care of us was still smiling, polite and patiently waiting for our which takes awhile because we are 9 people. 7 adults and 2 kids. And deciding what to order takes a little discussions. The food comes out in a very short wait. I am so impress how this Chinese restaurant can cook so fast. Food is great, from Salt and Spicy Pork Chops, Sweat and Sour Pork, Chinese Broccoli, Fried Tofu, Sweet and Sour Soup, Corn Soup, and Fried Rice . All of the above are very good.
Food was yummy, good quantity and no msg! Service was fast. No complaints from us. This restaurant is also good for big group and parties. A bit pricy compared to regular LA price but this satisfied our craving for authentic Chinese food!
I had such cravings for Chinese food and they didn't disappoint me! Ordered a seafood chow mein m, but in my opinion they could have used some fresh seafood instead. The house fried rice was yummy! It tasted just like the ones I ate in Hong Kong. I regret not ordering the lobster like everyone did, bit oh well. We also had jellyfish as an appetizer, and the sauce was too sweet. I'm used to eating jelly fish sauteed in spicy sauce. Overall, it was a decent Chinese place around town!
Very nice restaurant, really good seafood & other good menu items
Food is pretty good fast service. Good prices.
Came on a busy night. One of our dishes was late. However food was fresh and tasty.
Lovely staff, good food, but it felt a bit expensive. Fun experience, though!
Execellent and tasty delicious lobster salad and food 😁😁😁🍻 Great service and plenty of parking Tnks for a good time 👍
Good food. Much more than we could eat. So leftovers the next night.. Bonus
Good food, could be a little bit better. Didn't like the table set up.
Good food made fast, great service, and reasonably priced
Great food. Service could use a little improvement.
Fast and good. Price could have been $1-2 less per dish
Great food like sweet and sour fish, Peking duck and seafood soup.
Best Chinese restaurant in North Orange County. Lobster at $8 a lb. Give me 2 I say. The rest of the menu is above average.
It's delicious food because it's oily and fried. I like when they serve me in the main dining room and not the side room it feels like a long storage room.
I've visited the Roseburg, Oregon RR a number of times over the years. I noticed in my last several visits that the host ALWAYS seats groups (families, couples, etc...) in the spacious larger table and booth area toward the back of the restaurant. When I'm dining alone they ALWAYS ask if I want to "sit in the bar." I've spoken...
Chinese restaurants in Garden Grove are plentiful; but if you want good chinese food, this is it! Not a fancy place, but it's your tummy not your eyes that you want to satisfy 👍. Plenty of room so bring the gang and share a good hearty meal.
Really tasty Asian fusion food. Great service with family atmosphere. Big round tables for large groups with the lazy Susan turntables.
Surprisingly really good. Came here with family, I don't eat seafood but they serve beef and chicken and I was not disappointed. Good service too
The food here are good but I'm not impressed, however the service is great!
Food is great, tasty and portion is right for the price. I saw a number of people order seafood, seems to be very good and will try that on the next visit
Recommend to come for the lunch specials on weekdays. Not too busy, the food is great and a good deal. Hot and sour soup was on the house.
Good food and great service. We were staying at a hotel nearby and happy to have found this place for a quick dinner.
There options are of many foods and Delicacies, and I would recomened the mongleon beef as it is some thing I started getting and is so good I can stop going thier, sadly I did not take any photos.
Great Vietnamese Chinese Restaurant. Fried rice is tasty. Black pepper beef is tasty. Tofu is great. Great oolong tea. Nice people. Great service. Will come back and try the lobster.
Their food is always plentiful and tasty, and it arrives very quickly. However, as far as plant-based fare is concerned, they could have more options. (As typical in Chinese fare, they do use oil in their cooking.) They have a vegetable section on their menu with about 9 or 10 items. But they're mostly the usual tofu and veggie or single veggie selections. Since tofu doesn't agree with me and I want to be full when I'm done, I have to look elsewhere. Their green beans, I must say though, are really delicious. But what I was disappointed in this time was seeing the delicious bok choy and other veggies pictured on the meat chow fun dishes, really wanting that bok choy, asking for a vegetable chow fun (not listed on their menu), then receiving a huge dish of perfectly cooked and seasoned rice chow fun noodles...with cabbage and green onions! My friend offered me some of his bok choy from his seafood version. Next time I will try to be more specific because it could have been really delicious. In the past, their waitstaff had been a bit abrupt, not happy with special requests, so I was a little nervous about being too specific. But our waiter (who may have been the owner) wasn't too bad, so I will give it a go next time. It could have been really amazing if a better selection of veggies had been included. King Harbor, if you're listening, just add a gourmet veggie version of your dishes (esp. the rice and noodle ones) and you'll really make your vegetarian customers happy! (Sorry, I know you're a seafood restaurant, but we come with our friends. And your food is really very delicious, even without the seafood.)
The food is very tasty - specially shrimp fry rice and house style fish. They are good combination for me. They were satisfied my taste buds for good Chinese food.
The food was delicious but we moved to a bigger seat because someone else joined our party about one minute after we sat down and it wasn't busy at all but the waiter got upset and moved us back . When we told him there were not enough seats he squeezed us onto the previous table and just added another seat . Also they didn't fill out empty water glasses until the end .
Great food, reasonably priced. Peking duck comes with the sweet buns. They give the extra meat on the side so no second course. Mongolian beef was good. They bring out the food really fast. Service was a bit inattentive and had trouble getting their attention. Asked for Coke and they bought Pepsi without asking if that was ok.
Quality was good, but not outstanding. Three dishes out of the right in our set menu used the exact same sauce, and only changed out the protein.
Not an upscale dining restaurant. The live lobster, however, was great. The one we had was 5.7 pounds that is large enough to feed 6 people.
I have been buying there food for the past 20 years great , but lately the food doesn't taste the same , and reheated some times
I came here for a party and didn't eat any food. The servers worked hard. However, they are not happy people.
Didn't have lobster as only 5lb and up left. The crab and fish maw soup were ok. Walnut shrimp was best dish. Seafood chow mein was just ok also. Service was good.
We like the place we usually go to better. Plus it was kind of pricey. Orange chicken, kung pau chicken and beef fried rice. It was okay, I doubt we would go there again.
I've been here twice. Both times were terrible. First time was a couple months ago when I was in the area and craved for peking duck. The duck served at lunch was dry and chewy. It tasted as if it was from the night before and was microwaved and served to us. I sent it back and was told by the manager that I had to pay 50% because I ate a piece of it. Second time was last week. I was there for a birthday dinner. We ordered 7 dishes to share. House lobster with garlic noodles orange chicken hot & sour soup prawns with walnuts scallops with garlic sauce clams with black bean sauce beef & broccoli Everything was lacking flavor. Presentation was boring and dull. Service was not the best either. The prawns with walnuts had no texture. The chicken was tough. The house lobster with garlic noodles was disappointing and the presentation was awful! Definitely pass on this place.
Ordered to go , they put the food on the counter and didnt even notify me , when their are total of 3 people ordering to go
very disappointed. no hot mustard. food cold. something has changed. in the past my favorite place
The food here was not that great. There was a wait because the main area of the restaurant was closed for a wedding. What looked like a backroom is where they put extra tables for the general public. It was unattractive and we were pushed together, so there wasn't room to move around. I won't be back. It was very disappointing
Very expensive 😣 took the family bill came to$200.00 saw they added the tip to the bill I complained they removed it I will not be returning any time soon
The most expensive worst Chinese Restaurant I have ever tried in LA. Normally, I don’t mind the high price for good food but it is not the case here. This restaurant charged $12 dollars for steamed vegetables and $29.99 for shrimp Lo Mein. I ordered stir fried vegetables and got steamed vegetables. I will never go back again.
Food was gross, because I was not asian, they did not serve soup or tea. At first I thought they didn't have tea or soup. But after looking around the at the other tables packed with Chinese. They all had tea and soup, just not my table which included my wife and kids. Very humiliating and embarrassing. They treat non Chinese second class here. Price was jacked up for us too. Very unwelcoming place.
The owner yelled at my table and I because we didn’t want to leave tip, the reason why is because the service was bad and we had to constantly call the servers multiple times. He forced me to leave a tip as he was raising his voice at us while there were other families eating. It was very unprofessional. I’ve been coming to this place for so many years and this is the first time that this happened.
Was my wife brought me here and invited my friends for my birthday surprise , We found hairs in three dishes it’s unbeleivable. the costumer service was very bad we didn’t even got an apology and they charged us full price, food was left most of it , it’s a total disappointment and a shame for this kind of service. And to finish it we waited for the cake to come with candle he just brought it with box and place it on the table next to us so we can help ourselves. I will never go back to this place and I don’t recommend it.
You can come here, wait in line, get a table, and order anything you want on the menu. But there is no guarantee that the food will even get to your table. If you're lucky, they might not charge you for it. By the way, we won't be returning. Happy Father's Day!
All the way drive 1 hr for live lobster for lunch, cause I used go there often only for that dish . But yesterday is absolutely terrible,. Salty like hell. Plus $100 don't s even provide damn rice. It's awful service, never ever go back
Hands down the worst Asian food I've ever had. I NEVER write reviews but I decided that I would formally write a review after contacting the management and they said "everyone has a different pallet! " We had a huge group and 100% everyone agreed that the food was horrible! I understand every business has a "bad " day and I'm ok with that..my problem with this place is their lack of concern for their lack of quality. They basically said "go ahead and give a bad review" . I guess their good reviews are from family and friends....
Coming from Colorado, I expected more. Ordered Peking Duck and got thick slices of roasted duck. Ordered the house special pork chop and got a watery black pepper pork chop. Ordered dried scalloped fried rice and it seems they took the steamed rice and flipped some dried scallops and called it fried rice. Pretty much ordered something and got another thing. All in all if I could give this 0 stars I would, easily. Oh plus they charge for a bowl of steam rice. I've never given less than a 2 star review just because I look at the whole picture: service, cleanliness, food. Didn't get any of those. Deserve to get the zero in my book. My family and I were the only ones in the restaurant so there was no pressure.
