Fun asian fusion fare. Very interesting drinks/ cocktails with very unique combinations. Delish sushi rolls, wonton, and nigiri.
Easily one of the best places for sushi I have ever been to. The flavors, the way the fish was cut, the drink and the dessert were absolutely amazing. Even the bathroom soap had a special scent! My waiter Jay was also patient and helpful with my choices. The atmosphere was wonderful, although it got a little loud towards the busier time.
Found this place on social media and decided to try it out for a birthday and it did not disappoint. The food was so delicious, we tried a variety of plates. Koda our server was super helpful and made sure we had everything we needed.
Ryann E. Was our server let me start off by saying I was really indecisive didn't know what I wanted...when I asked for his go too, his recommendations. I said yes to everything and it was delicious. I was craving a lychee martini. He made a wonderful recommendation and we left beyond satisfied his expertise professionalism good vibes overall 10 out of 10 definitely will be back again.
Recently celebrated my 28th birthday at Nova, and I can confidently say that the food and drinks were incredible. The atmosphere was great and the service was on point. Jimmy was attentive and would often check in on our table. We didn't have to worry about anything and the night went smoothly. I would definitely come back.
Had a fantastic dinner at Nova! The Asian fusion menu is delicious and the interior is beautiful. Our server, Mary, was the best part of the experience. She was super friendly, efficient, and made sure our experience was phenomenal. If you go, ask for Mary—she’ll take great care of you. 10/10 would recommend.
Ok time out… If you have not been here, it’s time to check it out. My experience was absolutely phenomenal. I had the pleasure of working with Drew in setting up my private event and he was the BEST coordinator I have ever worked with. He was pleasant and over the top friendly. He provided world class service and details. The food was exceptional and our tray passer Jimmy was friendly and accommodate all our needs. This was the best event experience ever!
This place is a MUST-TRY! It’s perfect for date nights, celebrating occasions, or if you’re just wanting some amazing Japanese fusion food! We got the private room to celebrate a friend’s birthday and we all had a blast. The room had karaoke as well. The food, service, and atmosphere was 10/10. My favorite dishes were the Wagyu Ribeye, the Nigiri assortment, and the chicken wings. Every dish tasted super fresh and was bursting with flavor. Big shoutout to our server Jay and the manager Brandon for taking care of us the entire night!
Celebrated a friend’s birthday in one of Nova’s private rooms, and EVERYTHING was amazing! The food is top-notch, and the drinks are tasty and fun. Our steaks were cooked to perfection (especially the wagyu), and the nigiri was super fresh. The atmosphere is perfect for a night out. Our server Jay and the manager Brandon took great care of us all night. Fantastic service truly made the dinner experience worthwhile. 100% coming back to Nova; can’t recommended enough!
Recently celebrated my birthday at Nova Kitchen in their private speakeasy whiskey room and had the most incredible night. They truly went above and beyond to make it so special — they even arranged the sushi and flames into “27” for my birthday, which was such a thoughtful touch. Jay took care of us that night and gave us the best experience. He was incredibly friendly, personable, and always on top of making sure we had everything we needed. Huge shout out to the amazing managers, Drew and Brandon, for making sure we had the most unforgettable night. The food was plated so beautifully. The uni and toro nigiri was absolutely addicting, and all of the steaks came out a perfect medium rare. Everything was delicious and stunning. I can’t recommend this place enough — truly an unforgettable experience.
Sunday brunch at Nova Kitchen & Bar is an absolute win, especially for the all-you-can-eat prime rib. The meat was perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with flavor, and the portions kept coming without feeling rushed. The brunch vibe was relaxed but upscale, making it perfect for a weekend treat. Ryann’s service really stood out, he was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was seamless from start to finish. Between the quality of the food and the level of service, this brunch is easily one of the best around.
Sunday brunch at Nova Kitchen & Bar is on another level. The all-you-can-eat king crab and snow crab alone make it worth the visit—everything was fresh, sweet, and constantly replenished. The atmosphere was lively without feeling chaotic, perfect for a relaxed brunch. Ryann provided outstanding service, making sure our table was always taken care of and timing everything perfectly. He was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel effortless. If you’re looking for a brunch that actually lives up to the hype, this is the one.
This was my first time at Nova Kitchen & Bar, and I can confidently say it won’t be my last. We started with the Brussels sprouts and chili oil wontons, both of which were packed with flavor and beautifully presented. For sushi, we ordered the double hamachi roll, and it was fresh, clean, and perfectly balanced. The highlight of the night, though, was the service. Ryann made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. He took the time to explain the menu, gave thoughtful recommendations, and checked in often without ever being intrusive. It felt like dining with someone who genuinely cares about your experience. Because of him, Nova Kitchen & Bar just earned 5 stars.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Went to NOVA Kitchen & Bar for a work dinner and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was lively but still perfect for conversation, and the food was absolutely amazing. Our waiter, Koda, was fantastic—super informative, patient, and genuinely helpful when walking us through the menu and making recommendations. His service really elevated the whole evening. Great vibes, great food, and great service. I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend it for both work dinners and nights out.
Nova Kitchen and Bar is an absolute standout and well worth the visit if you’re looking for an elevated dining experience. From the moment you walk in, the soft, glowing ambient lighting and comfortable, thoughtfully arranged seating set the tone for a relaxed yet upscale evening. It’s the kind of place that feels intimate without being stuffy—perfect for a date night or a special night out. The service truly deserves praise. Our server, Johnathan, was exceptional—attentive without hovering, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely warm. His timing and recommendations made the entire meal feel effortless and indulgent. While it is a little on the pricey side, it’s absolutely justified. I’d recommend budgeting around $60 per person, which feels fair given the quality of the food, atmosphere, and service. Nova Kitchen and Bar doesn’t just serve a meal—it delivers an experience, and one that I’d happily return for again and again. I had the tuna nigiri and it was stunning.
I need to start off by saying I am incredibly particular about how food is prepared (over/under cooked, under seasoned, complimentary flavors, ect). Every single dish we had was perfection in every bite. The wagu was buttery and well seasoned. The little spurts of salt crystals were a great little surprise. The toro tartare was fresh along with the crostini. Flavors all worked well together, including the drinks. Wait staff service was attentive and knowledgeable. I will be raving about this dining experience for years to come. Great work!
Great place for a date night or with some friends. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. Our server Jonathan, was attentive and super nice! He made sure we were taken care of and made sure to refill our waters and clear out plates quickly. My partner had the Sunset in Kyoto and I had the Pink Dragon drinks - both refreshing! Our favorite dish was definitely the mushroom toast, which I would probably eat three more plates of ☺️ Overall, great experience!
Nova Kitchen was a great find, especially if you’re staying nearby — it’s conveniently located close to the hotel and absolutely worth the visit. The presentation alone deserves recognition. The floating noodles were both visually stunning and executed flawlessly — creative, intentional, and genuinely impressive. You could tell real thought went into the plating and overall experience. Service was excellent. Jimmy and Jay took great care of us — attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable without being overbearing. They elevated the experience and made the evening feel relaxed and special. If you appreciate thoughtful presentation, inventive dishes, and strong service, Nova Kitchen really delivers. Would absolutely return.
Ambiance was great. Music was not too loud and we were able to carry a conversation without having to raise our voices. Loved the handing lights in one of the sections. Giant video wall was not distracting at all. Having distinct sections would make it easy to cordon off for private group functions. It was relayed to us that there was only an hour left into the brunch buffet but all the options were still available until last call, which they did not do util 15 minutes before actually ending the brunch buffet. And with such a busy location, it’s great that the restaurant provides validated parking so we didn’t have to pay those fees. Great mix of western and Asian options: kudos to having Filipino tocino and longganisa! The cold seafood bar was the highlight - was fresh and constantly replenished! Good amount of dipping sauces to choose from that went well with the items. Dessert options could've been better, they were mostly dry and stale. Drinks were slightly on the sugary side, but awesome that they can be with or without alcohol. Unfortunately, we cannot remember the names of our two servers but they were awesome and efficient! They collected plates and garbage (we ate a lot of crab legs!) and refilled drinks often – even urged us to return and get more food! It was the perfect location for our little group to catch up and reminisce about the past 30+ years of friendship! Can't wait to come back with more of our classmates and their families and enjoy the great service, food and drinks!
Came back to my fav restaurant in the area after i saw the roll 7 before 6 which is apart of the happy hour. Unfortunately i didn't roll the 7 but the food was still good. Jimmy was our server and helped choose some great options on the menu so we got a bunch of stuff. The LED screen they have really added to the overall vibe of the Nova which was cool.
Came here today for Valentines. My partner and I were here previously maybe 4 years ago. Pretty disappointed by the food unfortunately. It feels like the quality may have gone down since our last visit. I love the interior and we had great service, just docking points off because of the food: -Prime Rib was a bit overdone/not juicy, nothing special really -We payed $35 for 5 pieces of Nigiri, 4 standard cuts and 1 toro. The sushi rice was not sticky and kinda falling apart. Pretty disappointed on this one. On the standard menu its $30 for 6 pieces of nigiri -The new birds nest Carbonara wasn’t seasoned well and was just really flat/ not enjoyable (there was very little salt for some reason) -Tuna w/ crispy rice, honestly the best tasting item. Sadly the tuna to rice proportion is pretty depressingly meager Maybe NOVA can change my mind at a later date but as of now I am pretty disappointed after spending $200 on two okay-ish drinks and the aforementioned food. The first time I came was genuinely exciting. They had a unique cocktail special for squid games and their menu was distinct and very well priced. Not feeling that same energy this time.
I visited this restaurant on October 25th at around 8:15… I really wanted to like NOVA Kitchen & Bar, but my experience was disappointing from start to finish. The moment we walked in, there was a strange, unpleasant smell that made the atmosphere uncomfortable, which was surprising given how nice the décor looked. The service was extremely slow, it took a long time just to get seated, and even longer for someone to take our order. When the food finally arrived, it wasn’t worth the wait. The dishes were bland, poorly seasoned, and definitely overpriced for the quality and portion size. It felt like the focus was more on presentation than taste or value. The servers seemed overwhelmed and inattentive, rarely checking in or refilling drinks. I also noticed other tables nearby waiting a long time for their food or trying to flag someone down. The atmosphere itself is the only redeeming quality, the lighting and setup are modern and inviting, but unfortunately, the smell, poor service, and disappointing food outweighed that. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant based on my visit.
I have very mixed feelings about this restaurant. I went here for the first time this weekend after wanting to try Nova for a very long time. I will start by saying the atmosphere is nice overall. Would make a great date night or if you're trying to have a girl's night. Lots of opportunities for photos and whatnot. There is a private room apparently that you can sit in behind a bookshelf wall, which is pretty cool. The table I was sitting at was a disappointment mainly because at Sunset my husband and I were blasted in the face by the sunlight and the restaurant has no blinds or curtains or any way of shielding the Sun from blinding you. It is extremely annoying and they need to figure out a solution to this. I don't enjoy paying this type of money for food and having to hold up a menu for almost 30 minutes to cover the Sun from blinding me. Alcohol was good. No complaints there. Food: This is where things go downhill for my entire party. There was 10 of us and I can honestly say only one dish was flavorful. All the other dishes severely lacked seasoning and flavoring. It was so odd because the dishes were beautiful and they looked delicious but the look was deceiving because each one of us at the table ate our dish wondering why it tasted like the chef did not season any of the dishes whatsoever. Everything was EXTREMELY bland.. I've never dined somewhere and had every dish at the table come out Bland. It was so weird. I am willing to try this place again hoping that it was an off night but overall I was extremely dissatisfied because of how much money we spent on our meal and how all of us at this table left extremely disappointed. I did NOT feel like it got my money's worth.
The water served was visibly discolored — murky, yellowish-brown, and cloudy with floating particles. It looked completely unfit to drink, and any reasonable establishment should have caught this before it ever reached the table. When the manager was called over, there was zero accountability. No apology, no concern — just a dismissive shrug and a rude attitude, as if the complaint was an inconvenience. 3 employees tried to take the dirty water pot without mentioning any proper resolution and the manager refused to taste the brown liquid when we both said it tasted rancid. The discolored water was bad enough, but the manager’s complete lack of professionalism made the entire experience unacceptable. The 2nd person was also disrespectful that came to talk to us said that the check would be taken care of and a complimentary dessert we refused the ice cream worried might get sick. The entire restaurant was 2/3 empty, lemons were old and had no citrus smell at all and noodles and 0 salt, absolutely gross and slimy. They lied about us walking out when we waited over 30mins and no one came to check on us.
