Impressive and fast staff, very friendly too. And their dinner room very clean and decent to eat.

So this location of Popeyes is always going to win. For me it has a drive-thru which is rare. So you going to have to go inside and deal with the nonsense weight place your order and all that stuff. The chicken was crispy. Well done but yet light and fluffy it was seasoned very well. Of course I added that occasion seasoning with the hot sauce and honey and it was really really good. I'll be back! 👍🏽

I love that this location is close to the house. Just was disappointed that they were out of fries and macaroni and cheese. My daughter wanted it so bad. They said shipments didn't come in. The drive thru line be so long but the Chicken is well worth it. And love it when they have specials.

My GF told me I had to try the Popeyes chicken sandwich. I tried their spicy chicken sandwich some months ago, and found it too spicy for my tastes. So we each ordered a sandwich and sweet tea. They were very good! A huge peice of chicken, a very nice bun, mayo, pickle. Quite delicious. The service was great considering the counter person was by herself and very busy.

Off of Rosecrans, easy stop for chicken but it's a long wait because they get a lot of drive thru traffic. So best to preorder online or via app and pick up inside. The hood around here is kinda shady so you know they're making great fried chicken

My total wait was about 40min, but didn’t really feel that long. I ordered a classic and a spicy chicken sandwich. The classic tasted a little dry, but the spicy..Yes!!! I would stand in line again and order 10!!

Food was good, the mashed potatoes and gravy was great a lot of gravy , we love that. I was using a coupon it did not state legs/thighs or mixed so I asked if I could have legs and thighs she said sure. The legs and thighs were at the top and the wings, breasts were at the bottom, I was disappointed hence the rating.

had a great experience at Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen on Rosecrans Avenue in Gardena! The food was just as delicious as I remembered, with that signature Louisiana flavor. I ordered the spicy chicken combo, and it was cooked perfectly—crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The biscuits were warm and flaky, and the sides of mashed potatoes and red beans and rice were fantastic! The staff was friendly and efficient, making sure my order was correct and served quickly. The location was clean, which added to the overall pleasant experience. If you’re craving some hearty, flavorful chicken, Popeyes is the place to go! I can’t wait to come back for more!

The drive thru line took quite a bit of time AND I didn't get the order that I asked for. Of course I was home when I opened the bag and since it was raining, I wasn't going back! I was a hungry person, NOT a happy camper!! Pay attention to your order BEFORE LEAVING the drive thru, even if the line is long.

I decided to visit this location because it offers a drive-thru, I was not expecting that the drive-thru would be the only option. When I pulled up at about 1:20pm, there were 5 cars ahead of me. It averaged about 10 to 15 minutes per vehicle to get the order at the window. As I was waiting to order I saw a few vehicles pull around to go to the dining area because the drive-thru line was so long. When I finally got to the side with the pick up window I saw that everyone who parked to go inside would stop short of the door then go back to their car. There was a sign on the door stating "Drive Thru Only". It appears that they are short staffed, looks like there were only 2 people working. Also there was a sign at the drive-thru advising that they only have small cups. The food was good, my order was correct and they tried to keep the line moving but it was about 2pm when I finally got my food.

They are consistently slow but they are consistently accurate. I prefer accuracy (especially in the drive thru) of quickness because I hate returning when my order correct as I have had to do with my take outs from other Popeyes. They also know have to customize the prices for orders you request that are off the menu. I would have rated them higher but they are s-l-o-w-w-w-w.

The food is usually fine here but every time I go there is a 15 minute plus wait to pick up food that's already been ordered. It's always hot and there clearly isn't enough staff handling orders. It's sad management treats their customers and employees like this.

The chicken sandwich is perfect in every aspect. Long wait times which is a mystery because everyone looks so busy working but few orders are making it out of the kitchen at a reasonable pace. This location had no drive thru. To be fair, every Popeyes I have gone to have the same issue.

I went for my lunchtime. I enjoy eating fried chicken but this Popeyes in particular isn't always prepared they're always short of something. If I order a 3 piece spicy they only have regular, if I order lemonade they're out of lemonade as well as fruit punch. They make you wait at the order box even when there isn't anyone in front of you. When you do get your order if you didn't ask for condiments you're eating without condiments because they don't offer or forget to ask if you need any condiments.

Extremely disappointed with this Popeyes location. The restaurant manager was rude, and the employees were equally unprofessional. The food was served cold and completely flavorless. When we politely asked if fresh chicken could be made, the request was refused. The situation was made worse when the staff refused to give my mother a cup of ice water, which is basic customer service. The inside of the restaurant was also dirty, raising concerns about cleanliness and overall standards. While we were there, three different customers returned their food due to poor quality, making it clear that this was not an isolated incident. This location has serious issues with customer service, food quality, and cleanliness. I would not recommend it.

Let's start with the good the red beans and rice and biscuit are always perfect. I had to ask twice for some honey and ketchup and hot sauce however I didn't mind I waited until the server came back to the window. Now the drive-through what a mess I was in that line for over 30 minutes. I will not be going back to this popeye.

Came to Popeyes to order some good ol fried chicken with the red beans and rice, and boy let me tell you...I waited damn near 25 min just to order some bland tasting food for $29. I literally could not enjoy my meal. If you guys need professional help I can do the job with ease 💯

I purchased two chicken legs and a biscuit. I purchased my food through the drive-thru. After I drove off; while at the stop signal I checked my order and I also wanted to have a quick taste. Upon taking my food out the bag the chicken leg was below room temperature. It was cold like it had not even been under a heat lamp nor recently cooked. It was too late to go back due to the restaurant would be closed by the time I turned around and drove back. I was so disappointed. I purchased the chicken in Gardena and was headed home to Long Beach. I will never go to that Popeyes again!!!!

The food was fine but so many things went wrong in my last visit. They told us it will be a breast and wing but was a thigh and leg. It wasn't plastic ware or napkins inside the bag. Plus they didn't give me back my debit card.

I dont even know what to say about this location, i ordered an hour before picking up, and i get there and the guy didn't even know and i waited about 20 minutes for my order to be ready the same time you wait when you order in store, and they forgot to put my biscuits i was in the car when a guy went out telling me to go get them 😕 and i wasn't the only one waiting for order to be ready. The people who was there waiting didn't seem to be happy with the waiting time because they were taking too long to get our orders ready.

This Popeyes is so slow. 30+ minutes in drive thru to get food. To top it off they were out of BBQ sauce and jelly. Chicken was fried again after being out. Cuz it definitely wasn't fresh. Will not be returning to this location.

The air conditioning was completely off and when I walked it was horribly humid. It made me feel bad for the people stuck working there. I had ordered a four piece platter with coleslaw and mashed potatoes but when I tried eating the coleslaw, it tasted completely rancid, like rotten mayo or something. I couldn’t even enjoy the rest of my meal after that. I didn’t want to ask for a substitute or anything bc I didn’t want to risk getting food poisoning or something. I’m sure it’s not totally the fault of the workers but management needs to keep on top of their food safety. It wasn’t even worth the money at all.

It was around 2:30pm. during the weekday and wanted some Popeyes. I went through the drive thru and ordered wings, and they were out of wings. I asked for nuggets, and they were out of nuggets. I ended up with tenders. But I didn't understand how can a Popeyes run out of wings, and it's mid day. I was not satisfied at all with the tenders only because I wanted wings. Tenders did taste good but I just didn't want them

Food was okay the salad was nasty and not what I expected first time trying it service was bad they didn't look interested on doing there work not even a smile or anything they would all the time be on the back area even if new customer arrive

This place was completely dead, and after five minutes, it’s crystal clear why. The staff clearly despises their jobs and makes sure you feel it; I've never encountered such rude, miserable service. I asked for a simple refill on a premium lemonade—willing to take a regular one instead—and they acted like I was asking for a kidney. They even whined about giving me more ice. If you want to be treated like an annoyance for spending your money, this is the spot. Otherwise, stay far, far away... just go to Jollibee.

Old dried chicken strips, was like eating chicken jerky, I'm not joking. Missing one of my sides as well. They also didn't have any shrimp to cook and for some odd reason they had no iced tea.

It took 45 minutes to get my food! The inside kitchen/register was very unorganized. The drive thru seemed to move faster. Customers were beyond frustrated at the ineptitude and poor service. If I ever return to this particular Popeye's, it would be in the drive thru only.

Went through the drive through and waited 25 minutes for our order and when we finally got the food the the biscuits were not there and had to drive back to get them and the chicken was no good. The worst food ever 😫 😩 never again!!!

I came to this restaurant 5/6 and ordered a meal for 2, 5 pc meal for me and my daughter, my daughter ate a peice and I started to try the sides and chicken until I realized the red beans and rice and Mac n cheese tasted sour and the chicken tase like burned rubber, I came back about 2 hours later for a refund because I had to go back to work so I got somethig else that I didn’t even want because I was not eating that, they told me at the window I couldn’t get a refund because I ate a peice of chicken, but all the sides and busicute were still there along with 4 other peices with my meal, this was the worst experience I’ve encountered with this Popeyes and I probably won’t be eating here again even tho it’s a block away from my job. Chicken was cold, overcooked, and greasy. Biscuit was hard.That's code for "old food". Additionally, the people employed there either don't know the parts of the chicken, or they are purposely overcharging people and giving them dark meat meals instead of white meat. They habitually charge customers who order white meals the price for white meat, then give them dark meat. I always check. 50% of the time, they do this to me. I always have to send the food back. Whether they don't know parts of the chicken or purposely cheating customers, It's a problem. Additionally, their soda machine is always out. I am sick of receiving my drink and the soda is completely flat. I go to this particular store because it's the only one close to my house and half the time the order is right. The other half, it's wrong. I take a risk I suppose. It's still very annoying.

I ordered 3 spicy breast at drive thru and I was told by a VERY RUDE CASHIER to wait for 12 minutes and someone would bring my order out after sitting in the parking lot for THIRTY MINUTES I went inside and its at least 7 people inside behind the counter NOT BUSY , when I asked for my chicken they act like I was bothering them. I told them to keep the chicken and just give me my money back and then the "manager" offered me a piece of chicken for my trouble??? Well when I got there, there was only 2 people in line in front of me, all I wanted was 2 side dishes. My visit was horrible! I waiting in line for approximately 30 minutes. Then 10 minutes more to get a large red beans n rice and small mashed potato. This was not my first visit to this Popeyes restaurant and every time you walk in it smells like a bathroom. I guess I'll have to make this my last visit.

I was at the drive thru, which was extremely slow and when I got to the speaker to order I was told to wait. I waited for like 8 minutes with no respond. Cars behind me started honking. I started saying hello to the speaker and kept being ignored. After waiting for like 25 minutes my son walked to the window and they told him that they didn't hear anything. They gave us a smug attitude like if WE did something wrong. Don't come to this Popeyes. I've always had problems with this particular spot. Terrible service. Needs new management.

Gardena popeyes the phone number does not even work. I just went to drive through I ordered 2 dine pack . The lady took the order I ordered 2 sides French fries and mash potatoes. And extra macaroni cheese . Customer service is key. She missed the side order French fries why rushing .they charge for everything then make sure give all orders to customers. we pay money too. We work just like you guys. Food is expensive so why not do slowly, nicely and completely. For good customer satisfaction.

I paid over 60 dollars for my mixed chicken meals I got home and all the meat was dark and dry. No white meat at all. When I calling the number on their website all I got was a message stating the number was disconnected. Oh and did I mention I waited 30 minutes in the drive through. I ordered online to avoid a longer wait time, and instead of giving it a 5 minute grace period so the kitchen can begin preparing your order while you're driving to the store, I gave it an 8 minute grace period. Still left waiting for almost an hour for my food, although I checked in with the front desk, who confirmed my order was received, and had my printed out pre-paid food order on a receipt. The manager, Guillermo, is completely negligent and irresponsibile. Instead of having a decent conversation with a customer, he deflects responsibility onto his staff, and instead of addressing a customer full-front and resuming responsibility, continues to have his back turned, disrespecting, deflecting, and disregarding a real issue. No apologies on his behalf were ever made. Why apologize for something you're not sorry for? This manager quite frankly is the worst manager you can ever come across. Because if you don't care for your job, why continue to work there? Why neglect all of your managerial responsibilities and continue to cause the restaurant to tank? With a manager like Guillermo working there, 2 stars altogether seems really appropriate. An hour for waiting, and your food is not even hot when you get home (around a 5 minute drive away). This is unacceptable. If you hadn't paid for your order online beforehand, you would have left. Don't bother with this place. Especially at a time like this when restaurants need all of the support from their customers in order to continue on, he doesn't seem to be grateful for even having a job. So, in my opinion, he doesn't even need one. Popeyes would be better off without him. Way better.

Lousy service employees are more attentive to the gossip than paying attention to the orders from the clients almost 30 minutes to get my order right because they didn't get my order right also while waiting for my order a costumer came back because she got the wrong order. If any place deserves a ZERO rating, this Popeyes does. I ordered a 3 piece combo; 2 wings, 1 leg, and fries. They gave me 2 legs and 1 wing, if you could call it a wing. The wing had to be from a Cornish hen or pidgeon. I have NEVER seen a wing that small. It is shameful that the would even sell a replica of a wing. The biscuit tasted sour/stale also. I recommend no dishes from this establishment. I will not be spending my money there again.

ultra slow service took 1/2 hour to order and receive order. they were out of Cole slaw and didn't have Cajun rice at 5 pm. This is a reoccurring theme at the Rosecrans store. In a hurry, don't come here. 2 people in line canceled their orders, and online orders weren't ready when drivers came to pick up.

One of the worst "Fast Food" experiences I've ever had. It was no more than 5-7 people in line and they almost took an hour to fulfill the orders. I wouldn't recommend unless you have endless time waste.

Worst Popeyes ever the drive thru is always ridiculous and they close an hour before closing time wth is up with that. You clearly have your hours posted for a reason. Then the food is missing half of what you paid for?! No this place is not worth it I love Popeyes but this is not it. And then to have the audacity to say there’s no manager on site, there’s always a manager or a lead on site. These people here are horribly trained I honestly don’t know how they maintain to have a job here. This place needs a serious makeover when it comes to service.

I waited 25 minutes in line to place my order, and there was only 5 people on front of me waiting. Than when I placed my order, I waited 28 minutes to get my food. I ordered two breasts and a small fries. It wasn't even a big order. When I got the food, it was really cold, it seemed that it was cooked a day ago. Really a bad service! They need to improve.

This location is very slow. The dining area is closed so ordering in the drive thru is the only option. I was going to go somewhere else but it smelled so good so I stayed in line for 45 minutes. Once I received my food and got home, not even 5 minutes away my chicken tenders were anything but tender. Cold. Tough. A waste of time and money.

This was an incredibly disappointing experience. The employee taking my order was unprofessional, impatient, and visibly annoyed, sighing and rushing me throughout the interaction. I've always had a pleasant experience in this restaurant until today. I came in at around 8:15pm and my food was ready by 8:33pm and everything was going well. I was enjoying my food UNTIL the worker named ruth started putting the chairs up very loudly I may add despite being 8:40pm or so. there were 6 customers still eating at the store. she suddenly started wiping the tables and spraying cleaner everywhere which meant chemical particles were flying everywhere including where the customers were actively eating. she literally sprayed the tables at both my sides and I had to cover the food! as if that wasn't enough she started spraying even more chemicals to wipe the floor which again meant more chemical particles flying everywhere. then she loudly stated the fountain drink machine will be shut off so we had to get drinks right then and there. we had to hurriedly down the rest of our cup so we could get even more. you'd think that was it but no, when we got ready to leave she literally said to the remaining 4 customers who were STILL eating that if they wanted to leave they should do it right now cause she's closing the door. I kid you not the family of 3 that were STILL eating got up so fast and had to throw the rest of their food away cause this girl wanted to close up at 9:03pm. this the type of attitude that makes one not want to return to the restaurant. shame on you guys for rushing the customers out when it wasn't even close to closing time and for spreading chemicals near their food. I strongly doubt I'll be coming here again.

The Chicken was dry. It was obvious it wasn't freshly made. The lemonade was watery. Lacked no taste. Just iced water. To make it worse, we could not use the toilet after eating such terrible meal.

Gross!!! my son ordered the nugget meal and this is what he got. A raw piece of chicken. YUCK! He could have gotten salmonella food poisoning. That would have been a headache in itself. Shame on your for serving uncooked food.

I come here because it is next to my uncles rehab center - Rosecrans Care Center. He has been in the center for over 4 years. I live out of town and when I visit, I try to get him something that he normally doesn't have. I came in yesterday, looked at the menu to confirm they had fish, and went to the rehab center to confirm with his nurse that he could have it and there were 2-3 people and line and 2-3 people still waiting for food. I was gone 20 minutes. No only did the employee say she saw I walked in then didn't buy anything, she had my car towed. I still bought from this place as that is what he wanted. 11.99 3 tender no sauce and mash potatoes. I asked the attendant if my car was towed and she wouldn't answer. I asked again. The workers in the back just looked to her. She then said she the call. Then she instructed me to go read the sign. Then she said, you came in and didn't buy anything. She called your name and you weren't in the lobby. Food was like most Popeyes but I am writing this review on the service. Uber - $31.00, Change of Flight, $55, Tow for $300. I wanted to check the reviews to uncover why so such unnecessary contentious. Service is a mindset.

I ordered and paid for an extra biscuit I never got, and I ordered my sandwich with bacon and cheese, and surprise surprise, none of that either. Then the drive thru lines take forever, and they give only 1 of each sauce. At least the food tasted good.

The chicken was terrible. It was dry, hard & no flavor. It's not very many times where I've gotten dark meat that was dry normally its the white meat. They literally gave me a squirt of gravy. Very disappointing especially considering that that's what I went for. Never again will I eat their chicken. I'll just stick with their chicken sandwiches which I know are good. Also their drive-thru design is horrible. You need super long arms to get your food. Maybe they're better at a different location but this one is definitely not it!

This Popeyes is bad. Do not come here. I thought I got a bad orde of fried chicken the first time. Gave it s second shot and three chicken has no flavor when you bite into eat. Got tenders to compare and the same. No salty flavor just overwhelming tatse of tap water in the fried chicken and tenders. Never going to this one again.

So me and my husband tried ordering online for pickup costing just about 60 bucks which went thru right away then we waited 2 hours to get a notification saying our order was ready which we never got so my husband went down there and asked where our food was and they said our order never went thru. Which on my bank account clearly shows it did. So my husband asks how is he going to get his money back and all they said was call corporate. What kind of place is this? This was our first and last time going ever!

I came in and ordered my food and after waiting about 15 minutes the employee named Norma came back and told me that it would take another 8 minutes for my order because they didn’t have any wings, which in reality it took another 25 minutes. They offered no apology and again acted as we were a bother because we wanted all our food fresh and hot. The employees at this location are very RUDE. I was very hungry and wanted to stop by to get FAST FOOD and spent 30 minutes in the drive thru with only 2 cars in front of me. They event took forever to speak to us on the microphone to take our order. They dont even deserve 1 star.

I was the first customer that morning, it was a very large hiring sign I saw outside I never seen before. It was a new manager and a cook only. I found that strange due to the fact this particular one has very good customer service skills. As he was fixing my bag I asked for condiments he told me to wait until he gets my order .I said isn't that the order then he walked over afterwards and said what condiments you want when he could have just did it at that time he got upset that I wanted some blackened Ranch some ketchup a straw and some napkins he was upset only two of them there. Had a bad experience for the second time. First the chicken was dry and taste old this second time I order a three piece meal with fries and red beans and rice and 2 extra biscuits. Some of the chicken was under cooked red beans and rice was hard and tasted old and they gave me a handful of fries. Just plan unexceptible. May have a file a complaint

They take my order and when I came in, the store was closed, don't any staff, no one helping me. I already pay by Gpay and also use my Popeye point but when I texting will customer service, they just use the AI to reply my, they said they gonna give me the 10$ coupon, but I dind't received anything and also that 10$ coupon is not included my Popeye point. I'm a big fan of this fried chicken store, but you should consider before order online from this store. This is the worsted experience of my order chicken online. Thank you for reading. I got a breast in the wing small beans and rice six wing flats which I did not request I asked for wings. And I also got mashed potatoes. The breast was okay The wings was tiny. The mashed potatoes were lumpy. The sweet tea has so much sugar in it I could have baked a cake. I got charged $27 oh my God if I could have gotten a refund I would have. If I had got an eight pieces and one side is still would have been $27 can you believe that and it wasn't the bomb

HORRIBLE experience, the chicken wasn’t fresh asked the worker if I could get new chicken because CLEARLY this is old meat. The worker had a very nasty attitude and refused to provide any type of resolution to the problem. It’s very disappointing and upsetting that I couldn’t enjoy a meal that I paid for due to a worker having an attitude. Last time I EVER spend my money on Popeyes.

The worst Popeyes ever‼️ $39 for a combo of 2 ppl. They forget to give you the complete order I have no fries. They charge for each sauce you ask for no complimentary sauce. This is ridiculous‼️I hope they close this Popeyes for good and put a Jollibee instead.

The manager gave out my order to someone else when I went to go pick up my mobile order manager claim it was already made she claim she had made the order when I asked her for my order she refused to do it even it was their fault they had gave out my order to the wrong person it not my fault they failed to check the confirmation code to check if the actual person that was picking up my order was me gave me a attitude said she didn’t care

It is August 11th at 12 noon, who ever is assisting in the drive trough is being very unprofessional! With a bad attitude and not given the service that a costumer needs. This is your job to attend costumers with professionalism and respect. If you don’t like this job you should look elsewhere!

Went thru the drive thru an hour before closing and they said they only had hot chicken and mash potatoes, very rude at the window. Kept screaming at us the same thing and wouldnt tell us pricing nor what hot chicken even meant. They had the Digital billboard menu off trying to persuade people to not go. Very bad first visit.

My family got home after ordering the a family meal with 4 tenders and 4 pieces of chicken a breast,wing leg thigh. What they gave us for a breast is ridiculous. We received fried skin and bones no meat on the breast. You don't sell people food like this for what you're charging. I paid for chicken i should have received chicken. Just because my family used drive through you don't give my family this.

I’m starting to realize I’m the problem. Why you may ask?? Because I keep going back to the same location, even though they keep doing me dirty. Several times I’ve been to this location, I’ve bought chicken, waited 20 minutes plus, just to get home get mad get back in my car drive all the way back because they overcooked, and or sold me some old chicken that I had to drive all the way back to get remade and complain about. This particular post is because this time I wanted to try the strawberry biscuits, went late night, waited for them to cook it, just to get home and find out they served and sold me burnt overcooked biscuits, that cost $4.00 dollars for two..!!! I’m so tired of this location. If it’s not old dry or burnt, and or missing some of your order ,it ain’t this particular Popeyes. I have wasted some coins going here. I’ve added some pictures as well. You tell me am I overreacting. For this one biscuit it was a little over two dollars for it to be this small and overcooked. Popeyes need to do better way better.

We just got 10 pieces for $15 and only gave us chicken legs and wings! Even wing tips! Like not even a full wing All dry! They should be honest and say we only have this and that to avoid this review! Great surprise I got when I got home… so upsetting!
