TMJ Cafe & Dough

It's been a while since I last came here to get food. And they never disappoint. I got the pastrami brisket and provolone on sourdough bread. Very flavorful! Update: I love this place. I'm not changing my rating. But the pastrami wasn't good on Wednesday. It was full of grease and no flavor. Maybe it was a slow day, and no one ordered Pastrami, or they cooked too much. IDK, but it wasn't my normal experience. The reason why I said I wouldn't change my rating is that this was the first time and hoping the last.

I was craving a coffee and wanted to try a new spot. TMJ was close by, so I decided to check them out. They have a pretty big menu which was kind of overwhelming. I just went with some bombs and doughs, an iced vanilla latte, and a Thai tea. I wanted to add boba, but they didn't have any. :( The bombs and doughs were tasty, and the iced vanilla latte hit the spot! The inside was clean, and there was plenty of parking. I will for sure come back.

Hey 👋🏻 I’ll leave my honest review here. Overall the place is clean, it has good vibe, and cute. No public restrooms. I also ordered a rose latte and an almond dulce donut 🍩 which both were good. The donut was so soft and fresh. My fav. Is the spicy chicken club 😊 good customer service. I come here all the time. Food is really good 👍🏻

SO DELICIOUS! The staff was very friendly and fast. I ordered a ham & Swiss croissant which was decent size, fluffy and had quality cheese. I also ordered the TMJ Iced Cafe (condensed milk), which was very tasty. It was lightly sweetened, and the coffee flavor came through. The donuts here are something else! I had the Matcha Almond Blanc and Maple Bacon donuts, and let me tell you that the dough was incredible. They were very fluffy and not overly sweet. This place has many options, and they are all delicious. I will continue supporting this business, and definitely encourage you to try their delicious creations.

Good doughnuts! The almond one has a nice crunch and is medium sweet. The cinnamon one is surprisingly light on sweetness! The oreo one was a bit sweet. They're all pretty fluffy and overall very good!

I've been living in Gardena since 2006 and this is definitely the best cafe we've had. I've only been here 3 times but every single time was amazing. Their menu is huge but breakfast is my favorite and I can't resist. I also have a weakness for donuts and those are great here as well. Their staff are all nice and welcoming and make the experience that much better. I will continue to come here so I can try more things on the menu. I'm updating my review months later and I still love this place. Their options continue to grow and my wife and I just can't get enough. Their sandwiches are really good, they have tons of chips options, and tons of drinks options. They also have some really good cookies along with their donuts. I don't think there is anything here that you wouldn't like

It is a very neat and organized place. Plenty of parking space and seating area( when seating is allowed again) Donuts are really good, in flavor, size and weight, pretty filling. I got strawberry cheese filled yum! Along with other donuts. The caramel coffee shake is also very good and it has a perfect sweet. It is a bit up on price but its most likely because of the quality of the pastries. So overall THUMBS UP!

Loved this place. Will definitely return to try some of the other menu items. The place is clean and currently only offers take out. My wife and I only tried their donuts but will be returning to try the sandwiches. We were hoping to try the bacon donut xbut they were out. Get there early if you want to try it. Donuts were delicious. I had a chocolate old fashioned and an Oreo donut. My wife had a raisin and crumb donut. They were amazing. They even threw in some donut holes for free. Highly recommend this place.

First time trying this place. I noticed it driving down western and it looked interesting. The inside is super cute and clean. The menu is huge, it has breakfast, lunch and drinks. We got the breakfast sandwich A (ham cheese mayo and egg) on a croissant, a blueberry cheesecake pastry and a strawberry bomb. We also got a rose latte and a lavender latte. The lavender was very subtle but the rose was super fragrant. The sandwich was pretty hearty, I smothered mine with jalapeno and it was so good. Everything was about 30 bucks. Can't wait to come back and try their other sandwiches.

I always try to find a brisket pastrami sandwich. I've noticed that the brisket pastrami always has a better taste and texture than on other meats. I found this place that had a brisket pastrami and had yo try it. Ir was really good with their combination of the ingredients. My wife got the Turkey Pesto which it was also good. Everything from here looked good their stickers on the box was really impressive and professional.

THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO FOR QUICK BREAKFAST! I’m from out of town and discovered this place one morning. Then I went back the next three days in a row! Breakfast sandwiches are made to order. The Cheese Muffins were the best muffins I’ve ever had in my life. They use Boar’s Head deli meats on their sandwiches and in the Ham and Cheese croissants. People need to find this place and try it. It might be a little pricey but by god it’s worth every penny. Very very very delicious.

OMG!! Coffee that tastes how it’s supposed to. I can taste the espresso in my latte without having to ask for more. I’ve been here a few times so far, and I love it. I’ve only had the rose latte, salted caramel cookies, and breakfast burrito. All 5 stars. Can’t wait to try more of the menu.

I had their Pastrami Sandwich, nice crunchy french roll toasted, Boars Head Pastrami, lettuce, tomato. When you use a great brand of meat you can't go wrong. Great Sandwich. Also tried the Veggie Burrito with lots of veggies in a wheat or flour tortilla. Love this place.

Purchased an assortment of baked goods at the end of the day and everything was still extremely fresh and delicious. I let the associate choose so the assortment was a surprise. Jelly filled and custard filled were worth their weight in gold! TMJ is very generous with the filling. Cinnamon roll and glazed donuts were light, fluffy and perfectly glazed. Chocolate buttermilk bar was perfection. The kids loved the iced cake donuts. I will certainly purchase again and am looking forward to trying other items on the menu.

Got croissants. After my family and me started eating them some of us felt a bit queasy. We noticed it was too undercooked and the doughy part smelled a bit sour. The cooked part tasted good but for the price I don't think I'm going to gamble on them if I were to come back.

Ordered bacon egg and cheese $10+ no lettuce no tomato. Bacon was already cooked and a bit hard.Guy behind the counter was just tossed my sandwich on the counter. Maybe caught him on a bad day. The doughnuts looked good

I ordered a ham and cheese croissant I ask them to warm it up and it was still cold . Mind you there is no bath room for customers !
