I like waba grill, it's healthy and light. It's great for lunch and dinner. The grilled chicken and steak are nice and tender. This time I ordered just a chicken bowl.

Bad customer service would give no stars. The man at the counter stood with his back to me (leaning on the counter) when he turned around and I asked for additional sauce he told me that waba grill charge for the sauce package. This is after I ordered and purchased my meal. Previously the customers service was great a few years ago with the old woman. Today the employees are just rude. Did the original owners sale this store? Just awful!

Love this place. The food is always made fresh. And it tastes delicious. The staff is very friendly . I love all their neat selections they have . I usually always go for the salmon plate. It's my favorite. With double salad instead of the fruit. Definitely recommend!

Big fan of the plant based bowl, not happy they bumped up the price though, but hey, I still enjoy it. Lost a star for service... I asked for extra sauce, and got EZ sauce instead. Funny thing, they asked again to confirm I wanted extra sauce, but got the opposite somehow. I was in hurry, so I didn't check. Only found out when I got home. UPDATE: Ordered the usual, and I got exactly what I wanted... earned 5th service star back.

Despite fast service, food was disappointing. Chicken bowl was rather bland and vegetables were seemingly set aside or undercooked. You're better off going to the local teriyaki restaurant west of that location on Van Ness.

I been to a differents locations, buta this location the food it's not the same taste. Chicken in flat, chop in bigger peces, no grilled chicken like the one in Slauson and Central, the jalapeños and o ips looks oold and taste weird. No good at all. Honestly I never going to come back here.

A bowl and a drink ends up being around 15. It’s basically all rice, with some toppings. The “seasoning” tastes like basically hoisin sauce, ketchup and generic hot sauce. There are no public restrooms. I went here because I was getting my car worked on. There’s a lot better options. Drive somewhere else.

Decent flavorful food not the best service. Kid working at front tries to be courteous but fails when questions or comments are made by customers. They also advertise the happy hour discount on appetizers but don’t actually do it. Environment is sad and depressing.

I came to this location 2/27/25 around 3:30pm and the short Hispanic guy at the register was very rude. He didn’t even acknowledge us as we walked in, placed our order and he didn’t say a word. Then when the food was ready, he threw the bag on the counter without saying a word and had an attitude when asked to put sauce in the bag. The food was decent but customer service is really lacking.

I am about to place a large order I asked the lady in front “ no phone orders she says “ I’m the only one here and I had nothing prepared” then the other comes up I ask is managers or owners her “ no” can I have the number “ you can find it online I don’t even know it” this was horrible customer service either the owners need to come back or this place will close. Bad customer service would give no stars, and the lobby was dirty with the 5 there standing around and speaking in Spanish not professional I placed a small order and am thinking about returning that.

Food is horrible chicken looks weird not like the other waba grill locations and also the service is horrible , I was help by a man named Edgar V. And he was very rude, I asked to speak to manager and he was rude about it, told me manager wasn’t here even though they have a sign stating that if anything is wrong with your order don’t hesitate to ask for Mike. I asked for a refund and he couldn’t give me a receipt he told me that my original receipt was the only receipt and that I should expect a refund in a couple days even though he didn’t provide me a return receipt.

This location got my order wrong and they had the audacity to tell me that they couldn't fix it even though they messed up I also have the receipt to prove it along with the EBT transaction do not come here if you want a good atmosphere and service they will also tell you that the EBT machine does not work so they won't make any food. I will be filing a complaint

They serving old chicken here. Stomach ache right after eating and you can taste the rubber like chicken recooked 100 percent. Not good

I walked in. I told the counter person I wanted the 5.00$ chicken bowl, BUT,,,,, I only wanted it IF ,,,, they would heat it on the grill to STATE health Dept temperature of 160 degrees. The cook,, said NO. He would not do that and suggested I make my own at home. I will be contacting the County Health Dept. Re. The warm , Not HOT food being served. I did not order their luke warm food.

Chicken wasn’t fully cooked. Because if it was fully done we wouldn’t have not had diarrhea soon as we was done eating are teriyaki chicken with rice bowl .. and my husband had the steak and teriyaki chicken bowl 05/16/24 time 11:39am server: Hisook k . We was also over charged..

They need to update their menu and lower their price on a plate since they no longer offer the pot stickers with the plate. Second time in two months where they failed to mention that when I ordered. Management needs some training and etiquette

Very slow service. Waited over 30 minutes for my food. Only 3 people working which I understand short staff everywhere but during lunch hour to be that understaff? That’s all my lunch gone. Never coming here again It also got me really upset that she jumped from order 37 to 42. 5 people were here before others waited an additional 15-20 min so they can serve others first ? When I told the manager she said ohhh I’m sorry I put orders away thought you already got your food.

Low quality meat, little to no sauce, infested with ants and when we brought it up we were told we had to leave that the lobby is closing. Employee was rude and had an attitude. Due to the circumstances I feel like this place was very overpriced and we were not satisfied.
