Cafè Teatre Gavà Reviews
Excelente trato por parte de los dueños,la comida fantástica la tarta de queso no dejéis de probarla....precio no me parece caro para la calidad de los platos, ambiente muy acogedor sin duda volveremos.
A great place to try unusual but delicious dishes, and some truly exceptional croquettes. Excellent service and very friendly staff.
A charming spot, perfect for tapas. The croquettes are extraordinary, some of the best I've ever had, with varieties like stew, mushroom, and gorgonzola. The patatas bravas are spectacular—crispy and with a great sauce. The menu is varied and creative, with both traditional and innovative options. The atmosphere is welcoming, with background music that creates a pleasant ambiance without being intrusive. The service is attentive and professional. The burgers also look delicious. The prices are reasonable for the quality offered. Perfect for going with friends or as a couple. I especially recommend trying the variety of tapas and the craft beers they have. Definitely a place to return to.
Listening to Rush, Faith no more or Nickelback while eating some brutal scrambled eggs with onion, potato, mushrooms and Iberian ham is priceless and is only suitable for those with a taste for it. A pleasant and quality place not to be missed in Gavà where you can eat well and listen to good music
We've been coming to this restaurant for years, and each visit confirms why it remains our favorite. It's not just the food, which is excellent, homemade, and made with soul. It's the heart that Pau puts into it, the soul of the place, who always welcomes us with a smile, warmth, and a service that goes far beyond customer service. Pau has achieved something many businesses dream of: loyal customers who recommend him wholeheartedly. And it's no coincidence. It's the result of years of dedication, attention to every detail, and treating each person as if they were part of their family. If you're looking for a place in Gava, I definitely recommend it.
My boyfriend and I had dinner at this place tonight and we were absolutely delighted! The presentation of the dishes was incredible and they tasted exquisite. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was very welcoming. We ordered four croquettes with stew and four with mushrooms, boneless chicken wings, and patatas bravas.
A colleague recommended this place to me and she wasn't wrong. It's magnificent, the service is very good and personalized, and the food is exceptional. Starting with a Caprese Salad with a very mild Italian Burrata, the Grilled Secreto with Vegetable Tempura is divine. For dessert, a Creamy Cheesecake for exquisite palates, and to finish, a Signature Coffee, one of those that you should drink alone and without sugar, with the acidity and taste of an excellent coffee bean.
A place with its own unique style and a very distinctive character in its cuisine, which we can say is quite special compared to what we have on the Rambla de Gavà. Patatas bravas (spicy potatoes) cooked over embers, not fried but grilled over embers, a wide variety of croquettes, "bombas" (potato croquettes) where you can select the level of spice, brioche filled with oxtail... and also a craft beer menu that grows daily in variety and styles. Food >>> 10/10 Style, variety, and lots of beers!!! Atmosphere >>> 9/10 Very distinctive style & great vibe!!! Service >>> 10/10 The team is exceptional Price >>> 8/10 Perhaps the only downside, a bit pricey, but understandable given the quality of the food and the location. >>>>>> For me, it's worth a: 9.25
The food was very good, well-prepared, with great flavor and an original presentation. The service from the waitresses was excellent, quick, friendly, and with a smile, which is appreciated these days considering the level of work they have. We will return to continue enjoying the menu. The ambiance is only three stars because there are many tables and it's very cramped.
We went yesterday for dinner and it was quite good. We'll be back! We ordered croquettes to share, which I was a bit disappointed with, shrimp and hake, Russian salad was delicious, and the potato omelet was also good. Then we had calamari sandwiches, truffle bikini, and cuttlefish burger, which I was really surprised by, very good. The service was very friendly but very slow since there were only three people for everything, including the terrace and kitchen. The bathrooms were a bit dirty, but the poor thing was that they couldn't cook and serve. Thanks for the work!
We often visit them for their croquettes. Without a doubt, they're among the best I've tried so far. Their patatas bravas are also very distinctive and tasty, and are a good size. The staff is very pleasant and they offer fast service. The place is cozy, with an outdoor terrace. They have an unusual menu that's quite a surprise. I recommend the eggplant, chicken, and mushroom croquettes.
Excellent staff. The black rice croquettes, the gorgonzola croquettes, and the stew croquettes were all fantastic. The chicken strips had a crispy coating. Everything was great except for the broken eggs; they were served with runny yolks, which ruined the dish and altered its flavor.
Incredible croquettes! Hats off to the Caprese salad and the fried eggs! (If you order the small fries, even better!) The sandwiches were too small for our taste, but good and cheap. The service was slow (approximately 30 minutes), but there was only one waiter for the entire terrace, which is understandable. We had a minor mishap with one of the dishes, and they resolved it without any problem.
