La Bottega del Fritto Gavardo Reviews
Excellent place to eat in Portovenere. Octopus is a must!! Service by Gisel and Erick is outstanding.
Our visit to Portovenere wrapped up perfectly at La Bottega del Fritto Burger House. After soaking in the town's stunning ocean views and charming spots, we needed a quick bite. Even with other restaurants around, we picked this place for its great water views and people-watching. We kicked things off with a refreshing beer and a tasty rosé. Our appetizer basket was a hit, loaded with crispy onion rings, savory chicken wings (our only chicken wing stop!), delightful fried potato balls, and gooey mozzarella triangles. We finished off lunch with two sweet gelatos! Super friendly staff and delicious food made for a great stop before our boat departed for the mainland.
So delicious! I got the vegetarian burger that they made vegan for me! Probably one of the best vegan burgers ever:) great service aswell and my husband loved the fresh seafood. Will be coming back!
Great service. The Dominican writers Giselle was amazing!! Very instructive and helped us with some information during our stay in the hotel in front.
very good prices and food is very tasty! we tried pizzas, burger, chicken wings and pasta di frutti di mare. Eric is a legend, will definitely return here and recommend to my friends! Have a nice day! 20€ pp with drinks! very good!!
We came here to have a quick lunch, since we needed to leave soon, and we ate here. Fritto misto was good, with fish and veggies. Also beers in this hot day has been really nice. The service was friendly and fast. Porto Venere Is also a place you should see, and this pub/restaurant is in a good location. Thank you
We were in Italy for 2 weeks. Had great food. BUT our food here was amazing! I thought my Grandmother was in the kitchen I had pasta with marinara sauce. Other family had spaghetti & clam sauce & pi…
Attractive streetfood set-up with decent tables at an attractive central square in Portovenere. Unfortunate it is too expensive, portion of fried calamaris with french fries served on a small wooden …
We were really disappointed. The food was terrible. Fish and chips was completely different as presented in the menu. When eating, there was hardly any fish, only dough that you only could eat when biting. It wasn’t crunchy, it was hard (and mainly dough). The worst was the taste. It was fries in old fat and that is what you tasted, old friet fat and not the dish you ordered. Sitting outside was great though. For us this was a disappointing experience.
Bad quality food overpriced. They make you order on a tablet with nice pictures of the food, but the actual food served looks nothing like that. Only 3 leaves of basil and bad mozzarella in the caprese salad, pizzas way too salty with canned ingredients. And you have to pay the price of good quality ones. Sitting on plastic tables and chairs. Not worth it.
I made sure that they had time to provide me with a take out order of fried shrimp and chips, before the nearby ferry left at 2 PM. It was presently 1:25PM and they made me prepay the order. I remind…
Read the reviews! This place gives Italy a bad reputation. Terrible food! Two of us couldn't even finish our meal. Third person said pizza was ok. Way overpriced! Avoid this place please.
I give one star out of five stars and here's why; the food is EXTREMELY (and when I say "extremely" I literally mean it) EXTREMELY DISGUSTING. For the place it is a great view I agree but charging 2 Euros for just sitting at the table? It is a big NO for me. The service? No better. The darker skinned I think Indian woman was calling me out names to her friends in that place, for not giving her a tip for giving me a fork and a knife which I think was odd... Because if she gave it and placed it delicately it would be okay BUUUT if that would go as I said earlier.. She came to me threw the fork and knife at the table (she also forgot the cup) gave me the menu which was a dead iPad and she went to do something to the kitchen. I don't think that the servive should work like this. I do also NOT recommend for anyone who wants to wait 50 minutes for some fries and a pizza.
