Trattoria dell'Acciughetta Genova Reviews
Absolutely incredible restaurant with a great atmosphere. It was our first stop after arriving in Italy and I was very impressed. Definitely need to book ahead since it is very popular, but they can fit you in later in the night if you’re willing to wait. Small menu with quality dishes, slightly on the pricier side, and there is a €2.50 cover per person, but they earn it with complimentary prosecco upon arrival, great service, and the owner even gave us some desert wine on the house to finish the meal. Highly recommend
Arguably the best dining experience we had during this trip to Italy. The food was delicious and well-presented, the staff were super friendly and numerous for a small restaurant, and the decor was funky and quirky. The highlight for us was their Nuvola (cloud in english) dessert - a sort of chocolate cake with coconut cream. We ended up ordering 3 haha. It is a more of a non-traditional trattoria but hit the mark on all accounts. Would be wise to make a reso, but we managed to get a table last minute on a rainy day
A quite hidden pearl at the port near the main road but there was absolutely no need to hide - the food was superb, especially the gnochetti will stay in mind as the best dish of the 3 day trip to genova! The service staff was very friendly and attentive, despite the restaurant being busy. It was a lovely evening which I´ll keep in mind fondly :) Reservation recommended
Excellent dinner! The staff was nice and professional, as well as careful with social distancing and case tracking. The menu includes original recipes, not too many options, but many re-interpretations of traditional dishes with modern ingredients. The quality of the food was outstanding, as well as presentation. Indoors spaces are limited, but the restaurant has many tables outside (can be noisy because of traffic).
A hidden gem nested on the old city’s stairs. Welcoming and friendly staff, smartly decorated restaurant bring the sea closer to your plate. A rich variety of wine available. The food was amazing, served in right amount to enjoy each plate. We enjoy the diverse crowd, from local older generation, to families, couples and tourists. A must try!
Superb little restaurant in the old town of Genoa. Very friendly services and hands down the best carbonara we’ve had in Italy: it is a unique savory dish with fresh-caught fish, combines exquisitely with the smooth creamy-ness of the egg sauce and bacon. They also serve local craft beer, we thought the IPA was the best of them.
Nice hidden trattoria by the aquarium and museums. Luckily we got a table (everyone else after us needed reservations). Wonderful modern take on the regional foods. Ordered the gazpacho (nice tomatoes flavour, maybe too much cheese), octopus pasta (wonderful smoked flavour!!) and a warm fig dessert and a pistachio ricotta cake. Not the cheapest, but affordable, and for the quality it is worth it! (65 for two starters, two entrees, two desserts, a glass of wine and two coffees) servers are friendly and prompt. Worth coming here to relax and take your time with quality dishes!
It located at narrow street near Genoa PP station. During hot summer time (right in heat wave), no air conditioning and packed with customers would stop you. Then you would miss a wonderful restauran…

Staff were super friendly and kind here, stepped in for lunch and we were amazed by the big portions. The fried fish antipasto was delicious, we also got the pesto trofie which was a little plain, maybe some extra protein or vegetables would’ve been nice. The restaurant was quite small but they’ve packed it with theme trinkets and history which I enjoyed.

I ordered the fresh pasta. Unfortunately it had a rancid taste to it. It could be from the sauce. I paid and left. Walked to the restaurant Nextdoor and enjoyed a nice meal.
The food took forever to come out and honestly the fish smelled too fishy. I ate from it and it tasted rancid. We all sent our food back and unfortunately will never come back.
